Don't underestimate the potentially very long waiting time on the day of your visa appointment. Today I spent 3 hours here... I got in line outside the embassy at 8:50 and exited at 11:45. My interview was supposed to be at 9:15, but it happened around 11:30 instead. Most of the time you are standing, since there is no place to sit inside the building (only outside you get the chance to sit on the stairs at least). We spent about 1.5 hours waiting outside and thank God it didn't rain. If it does there is no place for you to get cover. So please take a raincoat and umbrella just in case, and don't forget your comfortable shoes and clothes either. The staff is generally nice, but my interviewer was very impatient, grumpy, and honestly a tad bit rude. At all times they only have space for 2 interviewers and 2 people who check your documents beforehand. There is not really any space for them to expand... So now with the immense backlog that they have, it's pretty poor management that they cannot make space for more employees to process everyone quicker or to at least make sure people can comfortably sit while they wait for such a long time. If you, like me, are an EU national who does not qualify for the ESTA because you have travelled to Iran, Iraq, Libya, North Korea, Somalia, Sudan, Syria or Yemen (or have dual citizenship), expect your visa to be automatically denied on the day of your appointment. You only qualify for 'Special Administrative Processing', which means that they will send you a special form (this could take at least a month) and you have to send it to the embassy along with your passport. And there is no way for you to know this beforehand. The interviewer didn't even check any of my documents, like proof of employment and savings, he denied my visa immediately. The online application process is very general and I did not even have the possibility to inform them that I went to Iraq 8 years ago. This was very surprising to me since they make it sound like such a big deal if you have been to certain 'oh so dangerous countries', but then they do not care to ask about it in the online application form. Even the staff was surprised when they saw my Dutch passport accompanying a B2 application, almost as if they themselves forget that some EU nationals are not eligible for ESTA...

Sharing an overview of the visit: Arrived at embassy at 8:30 (appointment was at 9 am) I was told to leave the line outside the embassy and come back at 8:50. 8:50 I was in the queue outside with a big group of J1 Visa students, one officer came out to check our pictures (Strictly pictures have to be 5 cm by 5 cm) if you have the wrong size they send you a local Pharmacy called Byrne’s to get one. After they let us in 1 by 1 or Max 2 people for the first checks. 1 Security Stop at the entrance: Got asked to leave phones (only phones) in one locker. Handbags, bags and backpacks were allowed in. No liquids, no electronics allowed in the Embassy and no place to store these. 2 Stop inside the Embassy: Asked to queue on the right hand side until being called in the windows 3,4 or 5. In this window handed my passport and my confirmation page and I was finger printed, after all was scanned and I was asked what was the purpose of my trip and after moved to a second queue by the window. 3 stop Interview: there are only 2 interview windows but there was only 1 person interviewing today. I was asked again the purpose of my trip and other questions related to my specific case. Important things to consider: silence is a must at all steps in the visit, this is quite uncomfortable as everyone can hear the people being interviewed. The crew were twice told off due to being so loud and not allowing the people interviewing to communicate with the officer without raising the voice. The space is very small and people is asked to get very close to each other, if uncomfortable wear a mask. There is very limited sitting facilities specially if there are many applicants. In some cases the chairs are piled up so everyone has to stand. My waiting period in the queue was around 1 and 1/2 hour and left the premises by 10:45 am. The officials at the entrance are very friendly and courteous. The officers inside the embassy are also courteous but have very little time/patience for questions. I have gone through a previous interview in my own country and found this one more pleasant and quicker. Very little information is shared in their website.

I visited US embassy for (B2)family Tourist visa in 3rd week of Dec, appointment at 8.00am in morning. We were just on time and had a word with security having the appointment on mentioned time. Initially we were asked to stay in the long queue but then he allowed us inside. Be prepared to stay in the queue at least for 1hr having no shed so carry rainy/winter wear. Before getting inside security checked for documents and photo required for visa. Ensure you have correct size pic 50X50cm as few were ask to take a pic again at the closest pharmacy. There is airport style security check with no liquids and electronics allowed. Avoid laptops and water bottles as no storage lockers for it. Mobiles and fit band are stored in very small lockers and the key of the locker is handed to us along with visitor card. Once the security is through we are directed to enter the embassy. The US embassy is very small and were ask to stand in the queue for document check. There were 3 counter operation for document check. If the appointment is for family they take it together and ask for the relation. Another question asked was when the photo was taken. Be clear and concise to answer this questions. Once the document verification in done we were ask to wait in interview queue. There is no place to sit and the complete process is standing. There was only one window for interviewing and you need to wait for your turn. Be to the point while answering the questions and purpose of visit. Also answer the questions inline with the details mentioned while filling the application form. Our visa was approved there itself and were asked to wait for 10 working day for receiving the passport. Overall the process was smooth and quick and it took around 1hr to complete it. I received the visa processed email on 3rd day after appointment and collected the passport from DPD Dublin 12 after 2 working days from the receipt of the email.

While you wait for an appointment to appear in your online account, you will not be issues with your own set personal appointment date. Appointment opportunities pop up for a few hours and if not claimed by you, they will disappear. I used to check it every couple of days thinking, when I'm offered an appointment it will stay there, but it doesn't work that way. I ended up waiting a lot longer than I needed to as this system isn't made clear by the embassy. It's pretty much whoever's fastest on the button gets the next available appointment. Anyway, I'm Irish and having traveled through Somalia while doing voluntary work in Ethiopia in 2013 I was excluded from the visa-weiver system. Hence, my application. My appointment was at 8:00am and I arrived at the entrance at 7:20am to see a rather long queue. This isn't really an issue as they move people forward who have an appointment time that is approaching or so they did on when I was there. On entering, I'd advise to carry as little as possible except your documentation obviously. Just inside the entrance gate, you'll go through a security check much like an airport and then progress on a short walk to the interview room where you'll queue again for about thirty-five minutes. You'll go to a first counter and submit your documents, then you'll be directed to a second counter - another queue - where you'll speak very briefly to another agent, in my case no more than a couple of minutes. All this is standing. There, she told me that my visa was approved and it would take ten working days. I was out again at about 10:00am. Everyone seemed polite enough, but on occasion one guy was a little aggressive on encouraging the queue to squeeze up because more and more people were coming in the main door and the queue was starting to backup close to the door entrance. Hope this info may help someone. All in all it was a relatively positive experience.

I had an appointment at 8.15 for a B1 visitor visa. I was there at 7.45, was told to come back at 8.10. Joined small Queue, security checked pictures and said they weren't acceptable. There's a chemist just down the street that alot of people were sent to to get pictures done. My advice, just go there to get the pictures in the first place and it is open at 8 am. Went back, done the usual security, check bags, empty pockets. Phones are held in a locker. Nobody is allowed in with you unless for obvious reasons. A lady beside me said she was hard of hearing and he replied "you can hear me now can't you" and refused her. Joined line inside, very quiet as signs everywhere to be remain quiet. Very close to people in front and behind you. Got to desk, produced documents, unfortunately I was missing the confirmation of my DS 160 Application. Was told to leave and try find it. Thankfully I managed to find it in an old email. Got it printed in a hotel. HAVE ALL YOUR PAPERS WITH YOU AS THEY WON'T CONTINUE WITHOUT THEM.. Went back in again, done security again, was told to go to the top of the first line to produce the document. Fingerprints done and then into the interview line I go. Only one window open, everyone can hear the interview as its done at the desk. Can be a bit daunting. Interviews take 2 to 5 minutes. Finished interview at 11.30. Its hot and stuffy in there, wear a mask if uncomfortable being in a crowded room. There is drinking water on tap in the room, and there's also a toilet. Found staff nice, patient and helpful . Hope this makes someones trip to the Embassy a little easier. And I did receive my visa

I DID NOT ENTER THE AMERICAN EMBASSY... - just pointing that out... As I walked towards the road junction ahead of me, I saw a car parked right across the pavement, lady on her phone, just sat there... And I'm thinking what an ignorant, erm, so and so... As I round the car and see one epic big road block (one that 'rolls' up and down allowing access, or blocking access, behind some huge, not quite imposing, but a sight nonetheless, steel gate, and another car in a steel cage of sorts, that definitely looked imposing, and then the additional gate, ahead of the car in the cage... Again, imposing... At this point I start to pay a bit of attention and notice on the side of the quite impressive building, the words : "Embassy of the United States of America".... Suddenly I notice exactly how tall the iron type bars are, and how huge they are, and the Security hut (steel and glass bomb shelter) for pedestrian entry that people are walking towards, on the inside of said bars, that I am heading towards... So, I'm like "Ooh, gotta get me a picture of this...!" Put my phone right up to the bars to get a picture... And I definitely got a look as I walked past... - I have got long hair, and had quite a packed and large back pack on, I probably deserved an observation as I walked past the steel and glass Security hut/entrance/exit.... I thought about getting a pic of that too, but decided not.... Seriously though, it is quite a sight to see... Especially when you have no idea it was there... Suddenly......

The country as a whole is going down from being a place of dreams and freedom of good thoughts and ideas. Adding to it is the process of getting interviewed by counsellors who are naive and inexperienced on their job and ones who have ultimate authority to decide the fate of your dreams. I had an interview in Dublin where the counsellor asked about my purpose of visit into the u.s on business. I had an invitation letter from my employer in the u.s. I had all other supporting documents and preparation for the interview but in the whole time, I was only asked the purpose of my visit three times and he neither went deep to understand what I was trying to explain nor he wanted any other supporting documents . He couldn’t understand what my job is and if they feel you are little bit more persistent on how you say things that what you are trying to say, the chances of your visa getting rejected is high. I had similar experience few years back where in when you remain in the country it is legal to stay under cpt (their legal system supports it, the employer supports it, the universities supports it), but when you come out of the country and try to go in, the counsellor deems it to be not concrete enough. I will avoid getting into their country again. It is a good learning experience for me to understand how once a good country fails people coming from other countries with big hopes and how an empire is on the verge of losing its goodness.

Not a bad experience overall. Much faster than offices in the US. Pro tip: if your appointment is scheduled for 9am; arrive at 8.15 because it will take time(30-60mins) to go through security and line up to have a visa pre check before your interview appointment. You will need to attend two different windows and the pre check is where all your documents are checked before the interview. Laptops/electronics and liquids NOT allowed. Phones will be kept in lockers and you receive your key chain to keep and get back when you exit at security. Avoid bringing anything additional that you don’t need. Only bring your essential documents and nothing else to save you time. Don’t bring laptop. Have your passport ready for checking when entering. Make sure you have all necessary documents and recent correct sized photos. I had the incorrect photo size and had to run to get new ones made on the stop at the nearby pharmacy(Byrnes) €7.50. Basically be prepared well in advance and allow yourself time for security checks and waiting in line(approx 30-70mins). Only reviewing the embassy building on the day. The website needed to find info about making the appointment and scheduling was useless, confusing and non user friendly. Needs a serious overhaul and update.

I am a US citizen and was visiting Ireland and other parts of Europe. I unfortunately tested positive for Covid asymptomatically on the night before I was originally scheduled to return to the US. I had just returned to Ireland / the EU from the UK that night I took the test, and I was scheduled to fly out to the US from Dublin Airport the next day. I was only given a 24 hour visa into Ireland / the EU, which was no problem until I tested positive and was unable to return to the USA. I called the US embassy to help see what my options were, what I needed to do, etc. The representative on the phone was literally no help at all (not exaggerating or using a figure of speech) and just gave me a general email address to contact that was not really relevant to anything. The representative said she could not help me, as she just worked at a call center. It was very disheartening and frustrating honestly. All in all, I'm very disappointed in the US Embassy in the Republic of Ireland. They seem to not want to do their jobs. From reading another review on here, it appears someone else had almost the exact same experience. I didn't get hung up on though.

The queue was a bit messy, at first looked like first come first serve, you got 9am schedule but then someone else with 9.15 could cut you by coming earlier or those who come at 8.45 could skip you. That happened until the officer told people to move back depends on the time order. But that would be such an unfortunate condition for you who come in the middle/ on time since you need to queue (again) behind people who have the same time order as you but come later. If you are applying for visa, please do not bring any laptops or big electronic devices. Some people need to go home and return their stuffs because of the security screening. The only device that allowed is mobile phone, it should be switch off and you have to keep any bluetooth device in a safety box with the key. They also do not want you to bring too much liquid, means you should finish your water before entering the embassy building. In my case, I emptied my bottle since I can't leave the queue for a toilet visit. Also, the picture size is 2inch x 2inch, there is a photo studio nearby that could help you if you do not have one on the day.

Just completed my process on the 8th of June. Pretty simple. I was there at 8:15 for my 8:30 appointment. The guard brought us in for a security check, kept my phone and any other electronic object (AirPods). Went in for my check-in, took about 35 minutes. Interview queue took another 25 minutes with the interview itself lasting no longer than 5 minutes. Told my visa was approved and the regular spiel about 10 working days etc. Just confirmed that my DS-160 is approved and issued. Hoping to get the email soon and collect it from the DPD centre. I genuinely think people just exaggerate the whole waiting and processing time. It is a small building, not enough space and cannot deal with a huge number of people who just decided to come really early. Go in time but not too early, laptop or an iPad won't fit in the lockers, get your photo right (at least 5 people were sent out to get new ones) and please do not give more information than they ask from you. Keep it simple. Hope this helps.

I hope the embassy staff read this review. I've applied for a US visa 1 month prior to my planned travel and brought all necessary documentation along. The interviewer didn't like something in my answers and put my file through Administrative Processing which apparently takes around 90 days (90 DAYS!!!). I believe the interviewer was unprofessional because he asked me about my academic background but was unable to comprehend my answer. He also asked me for my CV which is not on the list of required documents. If it's something you need for the application it must be included! I am not carrying my CV around just in case! There is no way to track the progress, talk to anyone or expedite the process. The worst and the least transparent process I've seen (though I should've expected that from a country that elected Trump)

My Irish fiance (now wife) went here to get a travel visa to come to the US to visit me. The interviewer did a very poor job with the interview. She brought evidence, but you didn't bother to look at her evidence. 2 times, she tried. And you denied her both times for "lack of evidence to return." I'm Air Force, serving my country, and my own country's embassy can't even help my wife come visit me while I'm working stateside. Also, we plan on living out there when I get out in a year. Why would she not return. I hope the unhelpful people in this organization get fired. As a disclaimer, this review doesn't represent the US Air Force. This is my own personal frustration with this entity. To anyone applying for a visa, I'm sorry you have to deal with our horrible travel/immigration process. My heart goes out to you.

Traveling in Ireland my husband & I called the Embassy in Ireland looking for help on what to do in a situation where we were unable to return home because of COVID restrictions. We are both U.S. citizens and when we spoke to someone they said they could not help us. The woman we spoke with just gave us an email address and when we tried to ask a few questions on guidance she said she gave us an email and hung up on us. The woman just HUNG UP!! So frustrated and disappointed in the way we were treated when the embassy is intended, so we thought, to help us, as U.S. citizens, when we traveling in that country. No sympathy or kindness was given. No willingness to help. Does not say much for the representatives for the US at that embassy.

I truly appreciate the quick turnaround and professionalism of the staff and security. I had visited the embassy for B1 business visa for an expedited appointment. Make sure to go prepared weather wise as you will waiting in a queue and be prepared for some delays. Don't carry any laptops, electronics , Fitbits. Also avoid carrying liquids. Mobile phone will be stored in a locker. The staff are cordial, the interview went smoothly, not too many questions asked, be prepared to answer clearly your purpose of visit and make sure its in line with what you entered on your application. My visa was approved on day of appointment and I received my passport within 4 days which was really quick.

  • brown Jr

My intent getting to the country was clear, had all the necessary legal documentation to get into the country for a business reason, but the interviewer who doesn’t have the knowledge about the nature of my job, rejected the visa. When I asked what was the reason, they gave me a pamphlet that had no specific reason mentioned. Timid character, nativity and they didn’t want people attending the interview to challenge or question them. What I understand about these people are: they went in and designed the rules but the rule of law is not the same for everyone and each citizen in the u.s can interpret and use it differently.

  • Eoin McGrath

Although I arrived at 8:15 for my 9:00 appointment the queue was huge. They don't open the doors till 9:00. There is no management if the queue outside so ppl with a 9am appt are there at the same time as 9:15, 9:30 etc so your appointment time means nothing. Also normal passport photos won't be accepted for the Visas you have to have a special 5cm x 5cm photo. These are hard enough to get BUT the pharmacy in Ballsbridge (5 mins from the Embassy) do them for €7.50. Finally you are allowed no electronic devices whatsoever into the building so no keeping up with Work emails while you're there.

Hi I was in a catch 22 situation I could not renew my residence card for Ireland with out a renewal of my US passport. Complication! Was in the process of requesting Irish citizenship when I found out that if I renewed my Irish residence permit one day late I would have to wait another 5 years b4 I could apply again. I just put a note in my US Passport renewal application explaining my situation . I got my new USA passport in time to renew my Irish Residence Permit. Allowing me to continue my my application for Irish citizenship. 5 Stars XXXXX Thank you Patrick

Do not take laptop with you to the embassy. you will be asked to go out and come back without it. Go at least 30 minutes early and there is usually a queue. bring the right size photo with you or you have to go take a photo nearby. The security guys were very strict but respectful. The officers were also very strict. No eye contact, no friendly conversations, but come on... its Us embassy.... I was very stressed myself and in general visa process is very stressful. I wish I managed it better. for my case administrative processing was required.

  • Shriyaa

The staff at the USA embassy is courteous and efficient. Make sure your visa photo meets the size requirements, as you might need to retake it.. thankfully, the staff allows this. Alternatively, you can get photos at Life's pharmacy, a 3-minute walk away, but it can be pricey. Be prepared to spend 2-4 hours at the embassy due to its popularity. My 9 am appointment took until 11:45 am to complete. Translation services are available, which can be helpful if English isn't your strong suit. Seating is limited, so expect to stand in line.

  • Annelyn Malalis

I sent my application online by end of May and I got an interview appointment last November 28. The long wait is worth it since my visa was approved on the day of my interview and delivered to my home after 4 days. If you're lucky to get the earliest appointment time and be first in the queue, it will be a quick process. I arrived at the embassy around 7:30am and finished at 8:45. Unfortunately, they won't let in those with appointments beyond 8am as long as there's still a queue inside for those with 8am appointment.

  • Reem M

I wanted to answer some questions I had before going. Parking: loads on the roadside near the park. Paid so keep coins/phone. The embassy opens at 9 but there are queues from earlier than 8. Be prepared to stand outside According to the weather. Entry is based on time of appointment. Expect 2-3 hours for the whole process. Positive, good security, sensible staff quite helpful to guide u to correct the issues with your form etc. Given the applicants very smooth and organised. Good job folks.

  • Cătălin Giura

Been here for the travel visa interview. Had the appointment at 7:45 in the morning and spent 1 hour (documents check and interview). The security staff and the ones checking your documents are very friendly. That’s the only positive thing. Unfortunately the interview is kind of a joke, it seemed that the interviewer knows beforehand if he’s going to give you the visa or not. So don’t be surprised if you’ll be refused for no obvious reasons.

  • Yuliya

DON'T BRING LAPTOP Dear embassy, if only you could add these same words in bold caps somewhere on your website/ application/ instructions page, that would make everyone's life some much easier. Laptops are not allowed inside the embassy and you have to run around local pubs/ cafes asking them to keep your laptop for you Also zero stars for the good old line you have to stand in (like stand on your feet for over an hour). Meh

  • faisal nagra

Long queue in cold weather is such an experience which I and my Mrs sure didn't want to have on our day of appointment at US Embassy in Dublin. If you may have an appointment, make sure that you go in cozy clothes as you might have to wait in queue for like an hour or so. Otherwise, once you are inside, US embassy members are very courteous & warm. You will be processed and interviewed for visa in less than an hour. Goodluck!!!

  • Ahmed Magbool

Went there for a tourist visa interview. I arrived at 8 am for an 8:15 appointment and the whole process took around 50 mins. A small queue outside the embassy, then got through a security. A queue inside to check the documents and another queue for the visa interview. The interview itself was smooth and took less than five mins. Got notified that my visa was accepted. I received the passport three days later from DPD office.

  • Manoj Kumar

The visa interview process was absolutely hassle-free. Took about 25 mins from entry to exit. Security check at the gate, walk into the first counter, submit visa and ds160 confirmation. Another counter for interview. And way to exit. Simple and quick and very friendly. The staff were very kind and friendly, no long queue at the gate. There is a locker where you have to lock your mobiles and smart devices.

  • Nancy Fleming

Went into our appointment 20 minutes early, knowing from past experience the security booth at the entrance can be quite daunting and take some time. But not this day! Flew through security. Got up to the office, checked in, paid at the cashiers desk, waited for less then 20 minutes and we were called and all done at the same time of our original appointment! Passports came within 10 days.

  • Yeldar Kurmangaliyev

Great experience. Pre-interview communication, visa requirements, process and prices are transparent and clear. At the interview, I expected to spend hours in the embassy when I saw lots of people in the queue, but the queues moved really fast. The visa staff are nice and professional. Of course, the security staff are not that friendly, but that’s their job and do it very well and quickly.

  • Maya Powers

Compared to U.S. bureaucracy it's a literal dream. Clear and easy booking system, arrived 10 minutes late for a passport renewal appointment and was let in, there's a security check where you can put your electronics and liquids, the entire trip from entrance gates to exiting took less than an hour. I love the reviews that are saying they wouldn't come here again as if anyone has a choice.

  • Gus Moreira

The time of your appointment doesn't mean the time you will enter the embassy, it's only the time for you to get in line. Nothing that carries a battery is allowed inside the building so you will need leave your mobile phone in the free lockers when you pass by security. Also, wear some comfortable shoes as you will be standing for a while.

  • Shawn Berry

Pretty sure I could hear Ted Nugent's rendition of the Star Spangled Banner coming from the doors as I walked past. As a red white and blue blooded American this made my heart smile and inspired me to donate to a Bald Eagle Rescue stateside and shotgun a tall boy of Budweiser outside of a local pub in my Rexkwando Zruba pants! MERICA!

  • Shatabdi das

It was a great experience at usa visa embassy as I was there for B1 business type visa. It was a smooth and quick interview procedure. Make sure you have a perfect passport size photo as mentioned in the instructions orelse they will send you again for the photograph. My visa was approved at the day of the appointment.

  • Rebecca Ploos van Amstel

Absolutely ridiculous long wait to get an appointment for a tourist visa. 3.5 months wait currently! You would think they might want to improve this process, but this is highly unlikely. I would recommend anyone to postpone their holiday plans to the US til after the pandemic, it is not worth the long wait.

  • Bartosz Bondarenko

Wow! We did not expect this. Only one person already there, so we went straight to the window. We left documentation needed, fingerprints, and straight to the next window for interview. A few simple questions, and couple minutes later we are done. Everything took about 20 minutes. …

  • Sarnai Lha

I have appointments 9:30 but interviewing 10:30 and stuff is so unkind and they treats people differently the woman in front of me asked a questions and male employee gave all the answers but I tried to ask a one question but the male employee could not answer it’s unfair to me

  • Balachandran M

Good experience. But make sure you left the laptop and if possible leave the electronics items in your home/office. They are not allowing the laptops inside. Took me an hour to handover it to my friend but the embassy staff is kind enough to let me in past the appointment time.

  • Josh O'Really

The worst embassy ever, waiting 1 hour outside in the que, lot of rain, security very slowly, and they don't give you a tourist visa with no any reason, just to pay one more time and again....my appointment was at 8:15 morning and go through the gate at 10

  • Al & Charlie T.

Went to renew my passport. Made the appointment online. In and out in less than 30 minutes, all staff from security team to admin and cashier were pleasant to interact with. I’ll have my new document in two weeks. Grateful to have this service in Dublin.

  • James Kenny

Highly efficient service and helpful staff. Was in and out in less than 30 minutes. Took my paperwork and one window, confirmed two or three details at the next, took fingerprints and I was on my way. Had visa delivered by courier within a week!

Queued for 3 hours in total. But everyone there were lovely and friendly, yet professionals. Overall the best experience. Make sure you’ve got the right passport picture, as I seen a few people go off the queue to go get the right ones retaken.

My wife and I had to go to the embassy to deal with some sensitive issues (a death certificate and such). Staff from security to the desks were all prompt, pleasant, kind, and knowledgeable, making a stressful experience a little less awful.

  • Colby Grey

I had a passport problem getting home with a flight that day and the embassy fit me in same day. Compared to government offices in the US, I can’t believe how efficient everything was. Thank you again to the US embassy in Ireland.

  • LUKE MAGUIRE

Very nice officer who suggested me that I should accompany my son instead of "follow to join" because visa allocations for his category are very limited.Thank u for the concern! Appreciate that!

Lovely architecture, large circular building, the security staff are so pleasent. All very courtious. Visit by appointment only. Drop in to see the professional staff for any work visa to US.

  • Evan Nelson

If you are a U.S. Citizen that wants to get in contact with the embassy: don't waste your time calling them unless it is an emergency. You will be directed to the website or email them.

  • Slava Ponezha

Was not asked for any documents apart from CV. I wonder how could they establish if my stay was temporary or not. I guess you need to be special in order to get a tourist visa to US.

  • Monu Neethu

Security staff are so friendly. Plenty of parking outside and do remember to bring enough coins for the parking. Friendly staff inside for the interview.

  • 他妈的Jin Yang

Not possible to get an appointment on the website. When you finally get past the server issues on the website it just says check back for appointments.

  • Punky Katy

  • Chris Hammerschmidt

I experienced the team there as very thoughtful, responsive, and polite. If all bureaucracy were like this, the world would be a nicer place.

  • Chris MM Gordon

Very strict security but a fantastic building that can be viewed with prior permission by the general members of the public on Culture Night

Just works. For some it can be a bit worrying as the security and the embassy ppl are a bit rude faced. however for me it was fine.

  • Lucas Ribeiro

It has been more than 2 months that the Embassy Website has "no available appointments" for VISA applications.

  • Peter Muldowney

As a US citizen you're allowed to skip the big line at the door which is quite big from everyone getting visas

  • Arthit Suriyawongkul

The building is a beautiful architecture on a triangular piece of land. It looks like a concrete nest.

  • Alex Hopper

Can't get anyone on the phone to talk to them, useless website, unhelpful to stranded US Citizens.
