Been in here many times and always really lovely and helpful. Dont hound you and leave you to look around but also there to help. Ive been interested in many items and put deposits down over the past few years which are now lost lol but thats my fault since I get caught up in work etc and dont have time to go in. Not once have they been rude about it though, But I do need to stop putting deposits down ha. May save and buy outright lol. This company has been in the same place with the same name (Yeah I saw some if the reviews) for years as Ive been popping in for years because the furniture is lovely. Only disappointment I have is that some of the prices are a bit high for me, I would love to have the item and keep paying it off like that so I wouldn't meed to come in weekly as I cant always go but thats just my personal opinion. The furniture is beautiful though and the staff always make you feel very welcome.

Well not impressed so far Just asked for an average time for delivery, as was expecting first drop. They won't even contact the drivers to ask where they are. Exceptional circumstances (family member just had major surgery). Evidently the drivers had to go to Leeds this morning to pick up as it was not delivered to them yesterday. Why did they not advise the customers so they are kept in the loop. Georgina became very disrespectful, shouting at me sarcastically, I should check to see if I can go to the hospital as no visitors allowed. How dare you involve yourself in such a personal matter, we are going through a family nightmare here your unprofessional and unwanted comments are appalling. To verbally attack someone like this, on a personal issue is disgraceful. It's not your business.

I have used empire several times for customers in need and I cannot fault the service. Moira is an absolute god send and went above and beyond expectations with the service she ensured we received. She took everything into account and it helps when you have a budget in mind and are upfront with that amount as it meant she was able to look at what was practically possible in the short time frames the deliveries were needed. I had to come to a compromise on the scatter back cushions as opposed to the upright standard cushions for the back cut that was purely as I couldn't wait a further 7 days compared with delivery in days based on what they had in stock and what they would need to have made so that was my choice. Highly recommended always.

Just called the shop to ask about credit, spoke to the most lovely woman Maura I hope I have the name right This woman is a bloody credit to your business I rang asking about a sofa and the possibility of payment through Clearpay as I’m new to Clearpay I have no clue how it works yet. Not only have I come away clued up on it, I was told I could pay off at my own pace, and with no interest. This woman is so easy to talk to and sooo nice, very very helpful and made me feel like I had a new mate by the end of the call Outstanding customer service!

We've bought a bed and 2 sofas from here. They were delivered in excellent condition and we are over the moon. Moira is an earth angel for sure. She is so understanding and so approachable. She talks to you like you've known each other for a long time, has plenty of advise and even helps you make a decision. I stopped going to other shops and hunting for furniture I go straight to this place. Thank you so very much Moira! Merlyn

Don't go near this place, we returned a faulty sofa for a refund and never got one, had to go through the legal system but still waiting, high court writ is now with the high Court enforcement team, they put the company into liquidation and reopened in a different name still owing customers a lot of money. Con merchants, been ripping off and reopening many times in the last 5 years, be warned,

Excellent service. Bought furniture for the entire house and they arranged delivery and set up of everything within weeks. They swapped the bed and sofa because I picked the wrong size with no extra cost. They took all packaging and boxes as well for free. The quality of furniture is very good and prices are reasonable.

Been in shop today the shop brilliant great prices and better then bright home and perfect home pay when u got it as little as u like but u won't get bed till its paid for but that's better as a least u know ur getting it as soon as paid for can't wait to get my new bed

Absolutely amazing place. Everything was so nice and good prices. Staff didn't pester you but were around to give advice and help when needed. Very polite and professional yet had a good laugh with them. Will be back to buy more in the future that's for sure.

This place is disgusting, the customer service was nil, moira, the woman who is supposed to be the boss was weak, sloppy and very unprofessional, I would never recommend any body to go to this place, unless you want to lose alot of money

Needed a new couch and decided to call in here. All staff we spoke to were very friendly without being pushy and they have some lovely pieces of furniture at good prices.

Very friendly staff. They walk with u and keep the prices fair and Manageble. Bought a pair of sofas and was delivered in excellent condition. Highly recommended.
