I purchased this Groupon and had a terrible experience. I arrived 20 minutes early and they did not begin acknowledging me until 25 minutes after my scheduled appointment. Oddly enough, there was another Groupon patron in the waiting area who said her appointment was running an HOUR behind. The manicurist was very unprofessional, leaving nail polish residue on my skin. They also poured a cleaning agent into the pedicure tub and it made both myself and the manicurist cough. She said technically we shouldn't be in the room. Then, she didn't clip, trim, or pumice my nails. And, since they were running behind schedule, they ushered me into my facial without my nails being dry and didn't seem to care that they smudged. The facialist used poor quality Mary Kay products and spent about ten minutes doing my facial when it was supposed to be half an hour. Again, it was so they could get back on schedule. THEN, the masseuse asked where my problem areas were and I asked her to focus on my back and she spent only 10 out of 60 minutes there. I have never had a problem with Groupon, I've bought and been given several as gifts. They are a great company. However, my boyfriend bought me this as a birthday gift and this wasn't the experience I thought it would be. Please don't do business with this company. They were rude, unprofessional, and unqualified.

The only thing nice I can say is at least the woman I was originally booked with refused to touch my hair! She asked if anyone else could do the cut I wanted. I even showed a picture! (An angle stacked bob) A man took me. I showed him the picture he stated ok. When he was finished I was only shown the front of my hair. I asked him to angle the bob more. He chopped more off the back of my hair and didn’t do as I asked! I was handed a mirror to see the back of my hair. There was so much junk in his area I couldn’t even see my head in the mirror! Once he cleared the stuff out....My hair was BUTCHED! All I got was it’ll be free of charge! And “ you still have enough hair to SALVAGE”! to fix it. I would post the pictures! I’m too embarrassed! This CAN NOT be fixed to the style I wanted! 22 inches of hair gone to a butcher!

I went to England's Hair Salon and Spa on Thursday, September 6, 2012 and got a massage, facial, mani/pedi, and a haircut. This was my first time in the salon and everyone there was so friendly and welcoming. Every service I recieved exceeded my expectations and then some. I will MOST DEFINATELY be going back and will be recommending them to ALL of my family and friends! Keep up the GREAT work!! I went in as a customer and stayed for 2 years as a receptionist. While I worked there I had my hair cut and styled, massages, and a facial. I never meant to mislead anyone, I still use Maria as my hair stylist and am good friends with the owner. I am proud to say I have worked at England's, it was one of the best jobs I have ever had.

I have been seeing Julie Cathey for about a year to do my hair. She is by far, the best colorist I have ever had. I am always beyond pleased with the results. I always leave with a fresh and vibrant color that brings out my eyes. I always leave Julie feeling much more confident as I am constantly getting compliments on my color. This salon has a very relaxing atmosphere. I enjoy coming here. All of the girls at this salon are so friendly and welcoming. There is no salon gossip. Everyone here is very mature and professional. I highly recommend this salon to anyone who needs a day to unwind and leave feeling confident and proud.

Very mixed emotions on my experience with them. I had an appointment for 2:30 and wasn't started on till around 4:30 only for me to be there until 9 at night. My hair turned out amazing but for the price and for the extremely long wait I'm not sure if I'd go back unless promised to be seen around the time my appointment is at. The lady who did my hair was wonderful I just don't think the price is worth it at the end of the day if i'm going to be sitting around for and hour and a half and then wait four hours for my hair to be finished. Otherwise good experience.

Maria Oliveroz cut my daughter’s hair and my hair a couple of days ago. This was the first time that a beautician has ever cut my hair right. I love my new haircut and so does everybody else. Maria was super sweet and funny too. My daughter loved her and she is in love with her hair as well. I will never go to another beautician to have my hair cut again. It took me 30 years to find someone as good as Maria and I will never go to anyone else again. Hands down this lady is the best!!! Thank you for making us look pretty and making us feel great about our hair.

I love England's hair salon! I have been a customer for the last few years and I have never had a bad experience! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the staff is professional and courteous and they always make you feel at home. Brandy did my hair yesterday and she did an amazing job!! She spent over 3 hours on my hair. She high lights, low lights, and a perfect stack ! The cost was totally affordable. I am very pleased and so is my husband! I will be a customer of England's for forever!!

Tracy did a wonderful job with my hair it was brown before with some box color in it she bleached my hair did a great job on that. I felt so relaxed when she was washing it out. Then she applied red and pink hair dye together to make the color I wanted.Did an excellent job with that. My color and hair came out exactly like I wanted it after the trim. Since she made sure I didn’t leave with dead ends. 10/10 recommend this place to anyone that it’s there first time getting their hair done.

Moved to TN a year ago and have been looking for a color expert. I finally found one. Tracy is a talented stylist. Her experience with color is extensive and the results speak for themselves. My hair looks amazing. I was a little panicked when she suggested a few changes to my current style in order to be more flattering with my face shape. I could not be more happy with the results. I'm so glad I finally found Tracy. I brought in a picture of what I wanted and she made it happen.

Skylar never fails to do everything I want! Iv had her change my hair color at least 5 times and she always tells me the best way to do something or if it’s to soon or damaging. She never rushes so my hair comes out the way I want and she stays focused for the whole process. I have a spilt half and half and not once have I ever felt like it was uneven down the middle or off balance. Definitely recommend her when people ask and will continue seeing her!

I have very thick curly hair so I am always very nervous about anyone different doing my hair. But being new to the area I had to find someone. It’s been a while since I’ve had it done so it was rather embarrassing going into a shop. Brandy did nothing but make me feel welcomed and knew exactly what she was doing with my hair. Had an excellent experience at this salon. The wait wasn't long and the service was fantastic. The stylist, Brandy, immediately addressed the problems with my previous haircut were and how it would need to be cut to be the way I wanted it to be. She was an excellent conversationalist, and the haircut exceeded my expectations. Be sure to ask for Miss Brandy if you go for a haircut.

Brandy has done my hair off and on for a few years. Honestly, I wouldn’t want anyone else to do it. It takes a while with my hair but Brandy never seems like it bothers her and her prices are reasonable. I was recently in and absolutely love the color and highlights I have. As long as Brandy is doing hair and available, she’s my go to.

I have been going to Julie Cathey for about 13 years or so? I REALLY LIKE the way she does my hair! What little hair I have! (On a lot of medications that thin my hair) but she has ALWAYS done a awesome job! My daughter started going to her when she was going to the Prom. And she’s now 30 years old! Would not go to anyone else!

I really enjoyed England's Hair Salon. At first I was a bit apprehensive due to the negative responses I had read, but found myself enjoying the salon. I had a facial, pedicure, haircut, and massage. Everyone was very friendly and professional. I look forward to visiting the salon again in the near future!

I come into the shop in the late afternoon, my hair was an absolute wreck! Rachel Freeman sat me down, made me very comfortable, and totally slayed my hair! I'm not sure how she made Beauty out of the wreckage I walked in with, but she did! Probably the best color job I've had in ages! Will def be back !

I had a color correction done by Tracy and all I can say is thank you for the results! This was the color I originally wanted. The staff was positive and sweet. I'm thankful for Tracy's patience and knowledge. My ethnic hair type and thickness is often a challenge that she gladly accepted and tackled.

I have been a regular client of Rachel Freeman at England's Hair Salon in Rivergate (Madison), TN for several years now. She offers great salon services at reasonable prices. I also like that she is always willing to show me how to style a new cut or give color or cut recommendations and tips!

Brandy story is the best will take her time make sure it's what u like even after she's done and make you feel very comfortable ❤️ shes a very loving person who loves what she does. So if you need anything done to your hair go to her she will get you right.

Maria cut my hair, and I've had a few bad experience with hair cuts lately so I was already worried, she did a wonderful job I got quite a bit cut off with a shampoo and style and I still made it back to work within my hour lunch.

Rachel does amazing work! I've veen coming here since high school. She is so communicative with her clients and executes your hair wants perfectly. The salon is so peaceful and I always have a great time here.
