2 weeks before my wedding, The Enoch Turner Schoolhouse began a roofing project. The outside of the venue was a disaster and NO ONE CARED! My credit card was charged without my authorization and all I was given were list of excuses and justifications. Shady business! Buyers Beware!!!

We went there during doors open event. It was great to learn the history of the place. They had some old books, toys and articles for display. The volunteers were kind to show us around and give us information too. Neat place for cozy events. Very tidy and well kept property.

Got married at the Enoch Turner this summer. The space is very pretty but the air conditioning cannot really keep up. The acoustics are not great as well and big chunks of the space need to be taken over by the caterers. Would not recommend

GREAT experience with this venue. Ben & Roxann are a great team - very communicative and clear on what will/won’t fly for the space. We had ~75 people for a ceremony and sit-down dinner wedding and had an incredible time. It is an excellent

I decided to check out a modern adaptation of a Mozart opera as a friend was working the event. It's definitely a cute event space that would be suitable for about 100 people. The site also has an interesting history as the oldest standing

Sadly, my first visit was for a memorial service, but on a bright sunny September afternoon, it was a perfect locale. The Schoolhouse was easily able to host the hundred or so family and friends who had gathered. Split into two main rooms,

We held our wedding ceremony, and reception at enoch Turner and were thrilled with the results. For our guest list of 120 people, we held our ceremony and reception in the main hall. Smaller weddings could have their ceremony in the school

Very affordable wedding venue! Ben who was on site for rehearsal and ceremony was great to work with. Roxann, great email communication and was lovely meeting her on the day as well! They have two easels for use, little chalkboards for

As a wedding photographer, I'm always excited to shoot at the Enoch Turner Schoolhouse. I love the minimal look with the historical character. The property shared with church next door is great for your wedding photos. If you want more

Been here for two weddings. Great little venue with nice views nearby for photos. Sits about 100 guests and is very cosy and rustic. Lovely place for a ceremony and reception. Parking nearby on the street and at green P.

This is a great little event space. Was there for a wedding, rustic, historical, good for smaller events as once the put us out of the main room to switch it to dinner, there wasn't enough room for us all in the lobby.

The moment we stepped into the Enoch Turner schoolhouse in September of 2017, we knew it was the perfect venue for our wedding. The space is gorgeous and requires very little to “dress it up” for a wedding.

So went to the venue to check it out. Love the windows and the idyllic setting is perfect for a wedding. We booked for November 9th. So excited for the upcoming wedding and at this beautiful place.

Enoch turner school house is a great historical location, and a beautiful piece of Toronto's pedagogical history. Plus I went to a wedding here and it was super pretty and fun!

  • Colin Oliver

Had my wedding here. It was just perfect! Couldn't ask for a better day or place. We had our ceremony in the schoolroom and the reception in the grand hall area.

  • Erik Kingissepp

Amazing venue! Attended a wedding there. It is a beautiful old schoolhouse perfect for a small-medium sized event. Very charming, and a lot of character.

  • Tyler C (LivingEcuador)

Nice venue for semi large gathering, the doors by the nature of the school house are very narrow and make it hard to segway through the three rooms

  • Hilary Jackett

Went to a wedding here. The location is stunning, combining historical architecture with modern function and utility. Really beautiful for events.
