Had several bad experiences this winter with Enterprise. After being in a car accident and needing a vehicle, I went with Enterprise. The first vehicle I was given kept getting stuck in an inch of snow. I brought it back to complain and the agent said I was being picky as I'm used to having snow tires. This was not the case. I told the agent to check the tread depth as the tires were almost bald. He said they couldn't be and that their standards are higher than the legal requirements. He refused to measure the depth but eventually did as I kept insisting. After measuring and determining that the depth was below all standards, the car was grounded. Vehicle #2 was no better. The second car I was given left me stranded on the road. Several dash lights came on including the check engine light and the car kept puttering and shaking violently down the road. I returned this vehicle and brought my business to Budget down the street instead. Both vehicles I received from Enterprise had over 60 000 kms and were more than a few years old. I believe they are running their vehicles into the ground. When I went to Budget, I was given a free upgrade and the vehicle was just a few months old with 2000 kms on the odometer. There were also issues with the attitudes of the 2 rental agents that I dealt with. They were both not helpful at all. To add to this, Enterprise charged Manitoba Public Insurance for 3 days of rentals when I physically had the 2 vehicles for less than 48 hours.

He helped me every step of the way, from assessing the situation to making sure I was not only satisfied but happy in the end. He went above and beyond just to help me out and I'm truly thankful for that. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I recently rented a Ford Fusion late last month after bringing my Ford F150 to Birchwood Collision Centre for damage repair on my rear bumper, and I was told that Ford would cover my rental so I took it. I had just returned the vehicle this morning and I was asked to pay $200+ for a protection plan that I was 100% sure I said NO to. Now this isn't the first time I've rented at Enterprise, it was actually very easy to deal with them, straight to the point and no hidden agendas. I never had to pay on any of the previous ones before. It was just this specific agent I spoke to on my last visit. I dealt with the same guy (Indian guy, pardon my language, I don't mean it in a racist way) prior to picking up the car and returning the car. But he even claimed that it wasn't him that I dealt with in the beginning. Not impressed.

In general is good, but pricing policy is not transparent at all and its weird. 1. Got cheapest car for around $42 per day. Drove it more than a month. 2. Asked for a discount, they said that there is no discounts as I allready got the cheapest car, but to talk to a manager next time would be an option. Didn't have time for this. 3. Drove another week, came to extend my rental, somehow the operator said that I will get a lower price than $42 per day. I didnt even ask. 4. Came in after to extend again my rental, the operator somehow got me a price of about: $27 per day including taxes. The moral of the story: THEY DONT HAVE DISCOUNTS WHEN YOU ASK, still somehow "probably if the operator wants" you can get a much cheaper price. Conclusion: Discounts are not transparent at all, maybe they dont even exist, still somehow i got a lower price. Guys please work on this chapter.

I rented a car for the weekend to go to wilsal Montana, so I didn't haven't to put the milage on my new vehicle. I pick it up October 6th and upon arrival and turning on the car it says ' inspection due ' and rhe guy states oh don't worry about that the car was inspected. Fast forward hours later when we were loading up the car at 3am my boyfriend states now the car was saying turn off engine low coolant. And sure enough the coolant was almost empty on this car, I did not want to chance it with my family driving in the middle of no where !! I couldn't imagine if I just ignored the warnings. And upon dropping off I explained my story all over again and I just seemed like a bother because I just wanted to make sure I wasn't charged on my card. It's unfortunate I had to use my own vehicle, because this is the reason I rented one. Tha k goodness I had a back up.

We were directed to this location as a courtesy car while my vehicle was being repaired. I just wanted to give you all a heads up that Insurance option will not be covered and that insurance only covers the up to the mid size car regardless of the vehicle your driving. If you need a larger vehicle for babe seats or just to fit your family there is also a small charge which you need to ask about. Sales representatives tried to make it sound like they could accommodate etc but in the end it is at your cost. Also, I happen to leave my garage door opener into the vehicle when I returned it and now 9 business days later with multiple calls starting the next morning they have not been able to locate my opener and have never contact me back about this even though they said they would. Over all experience was not bad but just be warned going in what to expect.

I was provided with a “free” rental car back in November through Birchwood Collision while I was getting an estimate on a vehicle. I will say the customer service seemed great but my complaint is that a few weeks after I had brought back my rental car, I looked through my credit card statement and realized I had been charged even though I was told I wouldn’t be. I then called Enterprise and was told Birchwood Collision had decided not to cover the rental, and that in the rental agreement that I signed stated that I may be charged. They were nice when I called and I understand that I signed that agreement, but they never explained to me that I could be charged, they told me it would be free, and they also never informed me that they were going to charge my credit card when they did. I found that very unprofessional and am unimpressed.

I called ahead to reserve a large sized SUV for that day. I explained that I needed the large one because of disability. Was assured they had one. When I got there all that was left was a small SUV. Much smaller than my personal vehicle. I was stuck. Had no choice but to take it. I had called around they were the only rental agency that had any SUVs left. I needed a vehicle as mine had been in an accident and I had to leave for school in 2 days. What is the purpose of reserving a vehicle if they are not going to keep it for you. When I returned the vehicle they gave me a free upgrade to a larger vehicle. How ironic since I had reserved a large vehicle and did not get it. The vehicle I got kept flashing that it needed a service as well. I had to read the owner's manual to find the gas release. Not very good customer service.

We have used this company a few times out of our own needs as well as through our dealership when our car is in for work. Aside from the ignorant and rude mannerisms of one staff member we generally have had very little issues. One occasion this resulted in a discount the next time we used them. The second time we had an issue was due to our own lack of knowledge and the poorly written documentation in regards to the agreement that you sign. Infact the only response the provided to the lack of information in the contractual agreement we signed with them was that the particular issue "is never covered". So there inability to properly document the exceptions to the contract our the responsibility of the renter in there eyes. However our most recent interaction was fine. Just be careful of the vagueness of there contracts.

I reserved a compact SUV about a month before my travels, and because I had a last-minute change to my departure time, I showed up a bit earlier than when I was told to pick up my rental. Although they didn't have a compact SUV right then, the staff made a few calls to some of the shops that due regular maintenance on the vehicles and without skipping a beat, they shuttled me to the nearby auto shop doing the oil change and completed the transaction there. It was exactly what I had reserved, and I had a great drive with a vehicle that just had an oil change done. The detailing was great, and fuel tank was full and ready to go. So, to see the staff scramble as they did to satisfy my last-minute change, I was very satisfied with the result. I felt they did everything they could to meet my needs. Very professional!

Use to have great service until they hit our credit card with extra fees that were not explained at the start of the rental agreement and at the end of the rental would not give us a receipt when we asked for one which I found weird. If we never looked at the Visa statement we would of never known about the extra charges. I've always had great service and rented alot of cars at the Selkirk location and was always awarded by them when I brought the car back cleaner than it left and even gave me perks for doing it, then used the Enterprise in Garden City and will not go back there AGAIN. If you rent a car from Garden City location make sure they explain everything to you and ask alot of questions. Make sure you get a receipt. Ask about the insurance. Etc.

The most austere, unhelpful, soul-draining experience we've had in all of Manitoba. We love this province but this place sucks. We had a booking hiccup with credit card name not matching up with driver's license and were left to hung out to dry. As we waited outside the office on the curb trying to arrange something with a private company to get a car (which thankfully saved us), we saw how the employees reluctantly scrutinized the returning cars with the customers. Every suggestion of an imprint being poured over, demanding photographic representation of any scuff or bruise. We left there thanking our lucky stars there aren't more of these dead-eyed black holes of humanity in the world. So basically try to steer clear...

I gave this place 5 stars because any time I have rented a vehicle I have always had excellent service. The staff are always super polite and courteous. On my last rental i had reserved a small suv but was given a midsize car because they didn't have any available suv's. Two days into my rental i got a call from one the managers of a different location asking if I was still looking for an SUV and if I still wanted one there would be one waiting for me to exchange to. Of course I said yes. I want to thank them for the excellent service and for taking the extra time and effort in finding me the vehicle we really wanted to drive.

I had to rent a replacement vehicle while mine was being repaired. I went in and all the arrangements thru the dealership had been processed. Enterprise came to the house and picked me up in my rental car. Very pleasant driver and staff at office were helpful friendly and efficient. I left with a smaller vehicle but staff told me to call any time over the next days to.see.if a more suitable vehicle was available. 3 days later stopped in on a whim and they had a vehicle more to my liking. 15 minutes later all fixed up and drove off with my newer bigger vehicle. Extremely happy with all my dealings at this location.

I’ve been to this location twice and both times I have been greeted and taken care of by Zach. He was so personable and respectful with me it made my experience a solid 10. Not only did he take the time to make sure I was comfortable in the vehicle he also followed up with a phone call a few days later to make sure I wasn’t having any issues. I’ve been working in customer service and hospitality for years and Zach has got to have one of the best attitudes I’ve come across. Give that man a raise. I will recommend this location and be back in the future. Great job Zach.

Excellent service. The type of vehicle we had booked was not available so they upgraded us to a SUV. When we stated that a SUV would not be suitable for our needs they said they would try to find the type of vehicle we originally requested, gave us the SUV to drive and told us to check back in a few hours. Within one hour they called saying they had found a vehicle for us and would meet us wherever we were to switch. When we returned the vehicle a week later the amount charged to us was approximately $100.00 less than the booking price!.

2nd time renting from the regent location, both times while my Kia Soul was at the dealership for repairs/issues. The loaner I received is a 2020 Chevy equinox and has been showing a tire pressure error and is constantly losing air, I called today and spoke to a very nice gentleman (cannot remember his name). He offered to see about someone delivering another car to my work but we are closing soon and i'm far away from the regent location. So he will have a new SUV ready for me first thing tomorrow. Great customer service.

Worst experience of my life dealing with this location. Enterprise is usually great..... this location is sub par by far!!!!!!! Went there with an insurance claim and had auto loss of use insurance, gave me the worst run around and expected a huge deposit for an insurance claim. A larger deposit then I’ve ever paid even with renting a car from another enterprise location. Left extremely angry and with a bad taste in my mouth for enterprise. Went across the street to budget. Will not be dealing with enterprise ever again

Terrible customer service. They never answer the phone. We called at least 10 times between 9am and 10am to confirm our online reservation. Finally called the 1-800 number and we were told everything was fine. We took a cab to the Enterprise location on A Regent in Winnipeg and they would not rent us a vehicle because they do not accept the card that we used to place the reservation. If you don't accept the card you should not be able make a reservation with it. This should be clear on their website.

Rented a car from those guys for a good price. However I asked them several times that if I return it back earlier will I get a refund? They as red me several times that I would. Returned it 2 days earlier, guess what no refund . They gave an explanation that it's a weekend rate it's 3 payable days and 2 days free. Should have told me that right a way I came back from my get away earlier just to save some money. I could have stayed one extra day.

I rented a Chevy Malibu and found out how bad the headlights are, called to see if I could have it replaced. I was told to come over as they could not guarantee what car they have but when I came over I was told there was none available and I have to be put on the waiting list. Why did they not put me on the waiting list while on the phone and I don't have to waste my time and gas coming over to nothing.

Rented a car due to an autopac claim. Wasn't a problem to add drivers to the list. Autopac would only cover the cost of a wee itty bitty car, but i could have upgraded to a larger vehicle, for an extra fee. The car was new and modern and served us well for the time we had it. I had no problem getting the $300 credit card security deposit back after we returned the car.

This place is not good. I rented a car and they confirmed it and I was ready to pick it up. I went there and they told me they don’t have the car and told me that they called me 25 minutes before the appointment because they didn’t have it. Someone in front of me was being offered 3 car options while they gave me none. This is the first and last time I go there. Scam.

Picked up a vehicle from Enterprise Regent branch. CSR was pleasant and the deal was smooth, then we got outside. Vehicle was so dirty it was difficult to spot issues. Then the interior was nasty, sticky, and had debris sprinkled throughout. During covid I find this really disappointing and should be unacceptable. Pictures taken immediately after delivery.

Went to rent something when my vehicle was involved in a MVA, I have special requirements because of my height and Mohammed did his best to accomodate us. Had a couple of different vehicles to choose from and had to pay extra above our insurance coverage but they made it as painless as possible.....always a good experience renting from here....

The absolute worst store in the entire city. Every experience I’ve had with them has been nothing but terrible. From surprise charges, to blaming me for scratches documented when the vehicle was originally picked up. They do nothing but take complete advantage of customers every chance that they get. This is the best car rental place that I have ever been. They are very friendly and have a great selection of vehicles. The vehicles are always cleaned by the guys in the back and the folks up front in the office are are always friendly and professional. I’m always excited seeing them when I’m there. Cars are never clean at this location. Also I don't feel comfortable when the special needs employees drive me home. I don't want to sound rude or inconsiderate, but people who do not have full cognitive abilities should not be shuttle drivers....My life is in their hands when they are behind the wheel...Just a thought

Very helpful! Shahroz & Anis were reassuring in getting us the car we needed to accommodate my very tall husband. Anis also took the time to explain gear shifting options, including a demonstration. We rented a compact SUV from this location. We found the staff to be courteous, helpful and efficient. The vehicle we were given was clean, well serviced and we had no issues with it. We had the vehicle for 13 days and had no issues during that time. Returning the vehicle was quick and easy.

The sale's rep rushed me, didnt explain much on the contract so had to read it over, though he did forgive an accidental signature (I hope). The walk around was rushed and i did not get the car i requested, however, they gave me an upgrade at the same rate i reserved.

I would give zero stars if I could. Instead of taking the 100 dollar deposit for damages they took 1000 dollars. They don’t show you the amount when you’re paying on the machine. I didn’t find out til I looked at my credit card statement on my banking app.
