Movies at 4th floor , All Luxury brands.The new Esentai Mall was opened in Ocotber 2012 as a luxury and also mid-range shopping destination. It also has a brand new IMAX cinema which shows English speaking films as well, although you must check at the ticket booth for timings and films are subject to demand, so turn up in advance to ask. Cool place to go window or real shopping. It has all the latest collections with a slight price mark than original due to import tax. It is clean and air-conditioned. Plenty of restaurants and supermarket with traditional Kazakh and Russian meals. Also it has Paul bakery and cafe. On the 3rd floor is a bookstore with a very good coffee and chat. You can also go watch movies and eat authentic Korean meals on the 4th floor. Basically good place to escape heat and entertain yourself.

Essentai Mall displays a nice facade of Western amenities, but their customer service is very poor and unprofessional. We went as a couple to see a film, and afterwards their security guard cussed out me and my date while we were waiting for a taxi outside the mall on the pickup/drop off area. Afterwards, Essentai Mall have refused to acknowledge or apologize for the situation. It feels like a nice building in a third-world country.

A lot of variety of food choices here. If you are a foreigner or a tourist. This mall is not a 'must-visit' because the items here are mostly the high-end types. But, if you wanna come here and observe the locals haning out and watch movies, do oay this place a visit. Take a Yandex. Hang outside the hotel. Do buy the organic authentic horse milj powder!

Premium shopping is here. All major vip brands are found here. Look no more. Accordingly they offer great service, quality food and shopping facilities. Huge parking in basement. Top security and good access to city center. Very spacious and not crowded. On top there is a decent cinema and good food court.

This shopping centre is ok. The prices are too high for middle class. The food court and cinema is good. Also, there is excellent Marwin shop which has books and toys, souvenirs. Moreover, there is a bookshop near Costa which is a great place to relax by reading a book with a cup of coffee.

By far one of the most beautiful places in Almaty. Great selection of luxury and premium brands, that you won't be able to find elsewhere. Nice restaurant decently priced (Mamamia, Korean House, Spirit, Paul Cafe) as well as on the higher side (East restaurant of panasian cuisine).

Only luxury brands here. Beautiful and expensive mall. I did not see a grocery here. There are cinema and food court on the forth floor. I didn't like the cinema very much cause sound was little quiet and ventilation was quite loud so it disturbed me all the time I watched movie.

This place is super puper expensive!!! U can visit it only for pictures. The things on that mall are the most expensive. I don't know who buys them??? I only visited because it was close for Spa center. Inside of the building, they have several restaurants, my choice was Paul.

Very well designed and well maintained upper-middle class shopping mall. Valet parking, great choice of restaurants on the food court and one of the best movie theaters in town. Most of the mass market luxury brands are available tax free if you are into that.

Okay place , not many thing to have fun with . If you want to buy something expensive this place for you. There's a "best" cinema in an entire city, so called IMAX . Few times that I went there 3d wasn't working and they refunded only 1/4 of price

Very high end mall .. all branded stuff..only can window shopping.. I felt like i'm temporary transport back to my hometown singapore.. lols..the basement supermarket is also sell lots of nice selection of foods..

Luxury Mall in Almaty. Very nicely designed and great layout. Alas, the luxury shops are out of my league but there are a few good restaurants -- EAST is fantastic and Cafe Paul is great for coffee and pastries.

If you want high end brands in Almaty then this is the place. If you looking for something more high street then I would suggest another mall. The signage is poor and some places are not mentioned on the guide.
