Bought gas here for years for my daily drivers. Never had an issue. My 91 Octane only car doesnt like their 91, but yours might? Decent points system if you drive a lot for work, I'm able to cash in a few gift cards from points. Friendly staff, helpful. But in most cases I just pay at the pump. Decent Tim Horton's inside the building too if you're paying inside for gas. Their 87 octane is as good as anybody else in my opinion. But the 91 doesnt measure up to shell in the real world or on the dyno.

Worked here for a short period of time recently. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and efficient is terms of moving the line and customer service. That being said I felt that more cleaning should have been done considering the amount of traffic entering their store (I.e. cleaning the restroom, wiping down door handles, wiping down counter area and pens utilized with lottery area, door handles for the fridges - generally well used or touched areas).

Good gas station clean and friendly...i once accidentally thought i could use my optimum points for gas...well you can earn points but not use them on gas which i feel they should seeing how you can earn it anyways the guy was so kind and trusted my word that ide be back to pay it was as easy as that ...now i dont expect this treatment ever but was so greatful he was understanding. I went back to pay soon as i got the cash. Good overall experience

One of the constantly Highest gas prices in Hamilton. Would recommend you drive down a couple km's on Upper James and fill up at another Esso, Petro Canada or Pioneer which are guaranteed to be 10 cents cheaper than this one. Also, the traffic inflow at this particular gas station is heavy because of adjoining Tim Hortons. Not a pleasant situation.

consistently the most expensive gas station on upper james. gas here is always 10-15 cents more than others. tonight, the other gas stations within its vicinity were averaging at 85 cents, this one was at 104.9. what is with that?

With the high gas prices your eye's wallet is always searching for the lowest cost to fill up. Then you spot 0.03 cents lower then the previous station. With the money saved by filling up it paid for a coffee.

The exterior never gets the truck clean always leaves stuff behind. The interior I will never do again and I don’t recommend anyone to do. I complained the same day and got a stupid response from the manager.

there was no toilet paper in the washroom and no tissues to clean the hands. These had definetely run out a long time ago. I told the attendant was a BFF and he gave a big attitude when i informed him

Higher prices than local competitors. Usually even higher than locals that offer loyalty programs (Canadian Tire or Shell for example). It's almost like they dare you to fuel up at their stations.

Gave it a four as the drive-thru for timmies is always closed. I know you can go inside the gas station and that part is open. So why is the drive-thru closed and has been for quite some time

This is the worst gas station and service in all of Canada. Complete rip off. They have the highest prices in the area and only care about making money. Avoid this place at all costs!

Prepayment with a credit card is not usual in the UK, but it works and would stop drive away thefts, a better explanation of how it works would help visitors.

Gas prices is to high here always about 10 cents more a liter compared to the other ones on the same street just a few blocks north

Every Esso in the area is no diesel, this one says it has diesel and it doesn’t. Why waste peoples time?

Will get Esso gas in a crunch. Prefer Shell for the Vpower but will settle with the top esso gas.

My Optimum rewards card won't work at the pump. Staff were only marginally helpful.
