Estacao das Docas is commonly referred to as simply "the Docas". If you like old classical cities built hundreds of years ago, Belem, particularly the Docas as a historical treasure is one of those you'd love. There are 3 attractions that make the Docas unique. It is right by the Amazon river from which you'd realize the immensity, how wide Amazon is. You can't see the other side of the river. Secondly, as you walk along the Docas, you may see a historical site of a former coastal defense structure along with the canons built by the Portuguese. Third, there are plenty of culinary options where you can try garden variety of tasty ethnic food. I'm told the northern Brazilian food such as that offered at the Docas is different from that in the South (e.g., Sao Paolo, Rio etc). You can also try ice creams with exotic flavors such as Acai, Maracuja and other traditional Brazilian fruits. As a precaution, it is important not to expose your valuables as you walk such as phone, wallet, jewelry to reduce the risk of becoming a victim of theft.

It's a must. If you are in Belém you must go to visit. It has a wonderful view of the river, excellent restaurants, a shopping mall and it is a safe place to go alone, with family, kids, friends or your beloved. It is located close to ver-o-peso market. Wonderful landscape at daylight and a very romantic at night. Great choice for a hot day and for a rainy day. Very easy to get by public transport, taxi/Uber or walking. Do not miss the chance to visit. You can't say you visit Belém without coming to Estação das docas.

Estação das Docas is a must visit in Belém. There is a wide variety of restaurants and the food is unique. The atmosphere is very tranquil. Interesting facts about the history of the port are available as well.

I've only been there at night. It has a cool vibe. It has live music, restaurants, shops and a walkway along the river.

It's a amazing turistic point in Belém PA. With amazing restaurants, regional food, regional beer, cultural events, cultural sellers. Have a beautiful seen to Rio Guamá.

Beautiful landscape, friendly people and the best exotic ice cream you'll ever eat. Cupuaçu, Açaí, Seriguela, amongst other flavors you only find in Amazon forest.

Great place, it's definitely a place to go if you want to try some regional snacks (despite the high prices) and take some fresh air from the Guajará Bay.

Estacão das Docas so far, is one of the best places in Belém. The River, the Sunset , the station are absolutely gorgeous.

You can see the river from up close and it's safe. You can even use your phone without being afraid to lose it!
