I have bought a car from Evan halshaw in Batley and I was so happy with the car at the first but it broke down within a month and again after another month so I decided to contact them. Firstly they said My warranty had finished when it didn’t and after constantly arguing they allowed the repairs required and gave the responsibility to Leicester as this is where i live. However, this situation has not only made me fed up but also the other people I’m having to get help from. First i go to drop of my car which was absolutely okay and then there were many repairs required for my car which means i was sold a faulty car. The repairs were made which took a week and i went to pick up my car on my own as a female that has just passed recently. As soon as i go pick up my car it breaks down again right outside the dealership so there were more repairs that were needed that were not done. Not only that as i break down i wasnt to sure what to do so i ask a worker from the gates to help me and get someone however not only was he rude he said he won’t help me. So i went inside and it took 20 minutes to find the manager for him to not help me or even try to talk to me. It then took another 10 minutes for the technician to come as he had paperwork to do to move my car. This is absolutely ridiculous i have never revived such terrible customer service from anyone it has put me in an state. As a female i felt discriminated without any help, some sort of guidance or anything would have been nice. The only nice person there was Mohamed who was trying to reassure me. However, it has now been 3 weeks and they are still waiting for the part to arrive and are keep making excuses. Last week i called they said the part will arrive this Tuesday and today i call and the they said the part will not come till next week now. It is absolutely ridiculous, even when contacting Batley where i originally bought the car from they were so unhelpful as they didn’t give me courtesy car and with my grandmas health and hospital appointments I’m having to waste a lot of money on ubers when I have a car. They haven’t also given me any reassurance anymore and no sort of compensation. I advice you guys to not buy a car from Evan Halshaw as not only do they have terrible customer service they will sell you faulty cars.

I just brought a car from Evans Halshaw and I am extremely impressed and satisfied with the car and the amazing customer service. Firstly I would like to say Humza is an amazing car salesman, he was the one who assisted me in this purchase and made it a very smooth process! Very helpful and understanding and made me feel comfortable and welcome as soon as I came in! He answered all questions I had about the cars which I was deciding between, he also valued my vehicle which was hassle free and so quick and convenient as there was no messing around, within 30 minutes I knew what I was being offered which made me confident in my decision of purchasing the new car. As I was deciding between 2 options, Humza recommended for me to go on a test drive so it would be easier for me to weigh my options which was great as I felt at ease knowing I wasn’t being forced into purchasing something I wasn’t sure about & he was giving me a lot of useful information about the spec and key features which was handy as I was then able to see which car was better suited for me! Even when I came to collect my car Humza had the same excitement as I did which was lovely to see! Thanks to Humza, I’ve got my car and warranty all sorted and after this experience I would definitely recommend to others and would happily purchase a vehicle again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Worst customer service ever. My car was broken down I call for assistance and when they were unable to fix it. The assistant was trying to called them to ask which garage he should tolled the car to, he called them for continuous 1 hour and nobody answered the call. I told the assistant they have one in Milton Keynes. He gave them a call and they told him they deal in ford car so they can’t repair it. He went ahead to ask them about courtesy car and they said they don’t have one available. They can only get me one on the 29th of June. The assistant told me he really needs to speak to Leicester brunch so that he will know what to do. The assistant had spent 4 hours with me and had no idea where and what to do with my car. When he said am sorry I have spent so much time with you and nobody is answering the phone am sorry I have to leave you. I made a decision to take the car to a garage. To fix it myself! Till now I’ve not been able to reach them. So if you are thinking of buying from them then please stop and think again.

I bought a 2020 Range Rover Evoque in June of 2023. The car came up with car service warnings on the dash board from the fist day. I complained and had to take the car in few days after, It took them 4 weeks to order a reader to check why the warning lights are on (Apparently, they were buying time to exceed 14 days money back). I have since taken the car back 5 more times, with the same warning lights coming on. I have had to take taxi's back and forth even in the rain from the car dealer. Imran who sold the car was very unprofessional and unempathetic when I complained about my ordeal. I guess they are just after the money. Peter Jones (manager) said paying for taxi's back and forth is at my own expenses with zero empathy. I have had to take time off work on each of my journey to Evans Halshaw Leicester. I emailed a complain and no feedback yet. Never have I had a problem with previous cars. I would never come back and never would I recommend.

I had recently been in an accident and Humza was very supportive and friendly when I was test driving the car- which made me feel more confident and at ease. The whole process of buying the car was easy and quick. Humza talked me through all the details and was able to answer all the questions I had. Humza was extremely positive and informative and shared my excitement in buying the car. He helped talk me through the finance options and even helped me choose a care plan. I collected my car today and Humza sat and was very helpful in talking me through the car’s features and systems. Worst customer service experience ever, my cars gearbox went and I had to have my car recovered from them as they voided my warranty and won't help replace the gearbox, I've not had the car even a year! To top it of they said today I could get a courtesy car today! To then call me while I'm at work not able to answer my phone to try to say I can't have it when I've already been without a car for 4 weeks! So now I'm having to hire a car yet again out my own pocket and pay for the finance for a car that's not fit for purpose still! How they treated me is disgusting and as a single working mum I'm now struggling and stressed out to the max! I will be taking legal action now I'd avoid this place. They have now asked me to contact them but I know I won't change the outcome as I've had to pay out to have it fixed myself my advice is don't buy a used car from them. If you buy go for a new one.

Really regretting purchasing from Evans Halshaw due to poor communication and problems I have had with my car. After buying a car which has broken down twice in the first two weeks of owning it, I feel as if I've been left with a car I don't trust. It has more marks on it since being returned to me, which has become a blame game. I have experienced a poor line of communication all the way through, having to continuously prompt a response whilst being passed from one department to another. I am mainly writing this response as when I bought my car, they were fairly pushy to get you to write a 5 star review on Google. So I have deleted that and given my honest review this time. Normally not the type to write reviews but honestly feel mentally exhaused after my dealings with this branch aver the past month.

I am not happy with the purchase of my 2020 Range Rover Evogue which I bought in June 2023. I have taken the car back for the same complain more than 10 times. I sent a complaint in through their complain procedure with no response till date. No phone call or follow-up from the complains team. Peter Jones (Sales manager) of Ravensbridge Dr, Leicester LE4 0BX, has stated he wont replace my car because I left a genuine and honest review. I am hypertensive and you all can imagine how this is affecting me negatively. All I ask for is a replacement as this car has gone through diagnostics and repairs but the same issue persists. I will continue to post my review until I get a satisfactory outcome.

Detailing long experiences I have had with this garage, I find the customer service to be very good. The staff are always friendly and polite and professional. They helped me out when I had wheel alignment problems and gave me a free health check and found the problem. They recommended a garage close by who would fix the wheel alignment problem. I always get my service and mot here because the service is transparent and professional. To prove this the mechanics always give you a video to your email to show what they have checked and will show you the problem they have identified, which adds confidence and honesty for the service they provide. Keep up the great work.

An apocalyptically poor buying experience. Purchased a 4 year old vehicle from Leicester and found that it had - 2 illegal tyres, a failed fuel injector, cracked windscreen washer bottle and worn bushes. Painfully difficult to get anything repaired - had the car 3 weeks and the garage will have the vehicle for 8 days (8 days!!!!) to repair some of these faults with no courtesy car. I will have to repair bushes and replace tyres at my own cost. Ran out of energy trying to get repairs authorised and can't be without the car for any longer. Avoid these Cowboys at all costs - go somewhere reputable like Swiss Tony or Boycie. Buy here at your own risk...

They didn’t do what the customer said because I a their regular customer I was gave them 3 more customers and today I was booked in for service, tyare change and then for MOT and I was clearly mentioned that first do service and tyre change and after that do the MOT but they are started MOT before changing the tyre and I know about the tyre of my car it’s need to be change so they didn’t done it and before that they start MOT and only because of the tyre my MOT is failed. Sold a rather smart looking Seat Ibiza coupe today to Evans Halshaw used car centre. We dealt with Shabz. Excellent and friendly service. Our Appointment was at 12:30pm it took about 45 minutes and the money was received into our bank account same day. No hidden admin fees, no waiting days for receipt of funds. No haggling over the value or trying to reduce the valuation down at the appointment. A really good 5 star experience. Definitely recommend Evans Halshaw vs any of the other online car buying websites.

Had my service carried out at the Leicester garage, dealt with Jay and Dillon from booking to completion. Very easy and full explanation given on the car with a complimentary car wash thrown in! This is the first time I have ever had a service for a car with such care and attention. The mechanic even took time (from his lunch break) to have a further chat to understand any issues experienced to make sure they did not miss anything. Superb service and definitely a garage you can trust in Leicester.

Popped into this dealership yesterday not knowing if they would have something or not.
