"This was my first time at an Everyman Cinema, and it will definitely be my last - at this venue at least"
"Eclectic, Morden, Unique, Bespoke and Very Night Clubish Styled Cinema, tucked away but still on the main road but far enough from the hustle and bustle of the High Street in Crystal Palace - Everyman is a Cinema that sets itself apart from other Big and Small Screen viewing venues and gets a thumbs UP from me! Being my first visit I was eager to just BE and allow the ambient atmosphere flow and decided to go with it and fully emerse myself in the venue before the film started! And YES I am impressed The food and menu truly had me from the moment I was advised to have the House Special and enjoyed a glass of wine all served my table at my pre-booked seat! Glad I arrived early so I was fully able to fulljoy the experience of the cosy Sofa Seats and dim lighting while I stuffed my face without shame before the movie started! :) The leg room and very clever shelving behind the seats is truly genius as it stops anyone from kneeing you in the back or bothering you with feet tapping during the movie"

"On the face of it a great cinema, run by nice staff"
Oh dear. This should have been a 100% positive review for our local lovely cinema which we campaigned hard for so long to have. But it's not i'm afraid. I have read through other reviews, and there seems to be a common theme - staff incompetence/training. The cinema is lovely. It's clean and inviting. I love the sofas in the auditoriums and the fact you can have food and drink delivered to you. I did notice a bit of indentation in the top right handside of the screen in screen 4, which showed up when the screen lit up, plus although the theatre had big surround speakers, the movie sound only seemed to emerge from the front ones. Whilst the sound was good, I would have expected and enjoyed the full surround sound feel. The staff. Well, they were friendly and welcoming. We sat in the bar area as my wife said they come and take your order at the table, so you don't need to go to the bar, so we sat and waited. There were 3 staff on the bar but no one approached us. Eventually, I went to the bar only to be told to take a seat and someone would come take our order. After another few minutes, someone did. After another 10 minutes of no drinks and staff standing around drinking and chatting to one another, I questioned where my order was. After some confusion, they seemed to think it had been taken into one of the auditoriums and given to someone else. Great! Once in our cinema seats, we took advantage of ordering drinks and popcorn for delivery during the movie. I was a bit worried about the service because of earlier, and this took away my enjoyment from the movie. The drinks arrived, hooray! but no popcorn. A bit later the couple next to us had drinks delivered, and popcorn thrust upon them. They could see we were obviously waiting for something and asked if it was our popcorn, as they hadn't ordered any. It was. It was also cold popcorn. For the £5+ cost, you would hope it would at least be warm. So, in conclusion, lovely venue and clean, so that gets 5*. Damaged screen and no surround sound scores 3*. Badly trained staff/lack of detail scores 1*. So, overall its 3* rating. I hope it improves because I love that we have a cinema here and I want it to improve so that I don't have to read more grumpy reviews!
This was my first time at an Everyman Cinema, and it will definitely be my last - at this venue at least. The service was not the best. When we first arrived, everyone was greeted apart from my sister and I. I'm a big believer in giving people the benefit of the doubt, but out of 4 groups of people in the queue, we were the only black people at that moment in time and the only ones who were totally ignored by the man in charge of greeting. Like I said, I'm still willing to think it was perhaps a complete over sight, but my sister is convinced otherwise. After we took a look around and guessed where we should sit, our server was great. However, this is where it started to go downhill even more. My sister ordered her main without a hitch and then went to order the cookie dough for dessert, but there was none available. She was offered the brownie instead, which she agreed to and then was apologetically told there was no brownie. As there was nothing else on the menu she wanted, she skipped dessert. I ordered a hot dog and sweet potato fries, but there were no sweet potato fries. I then switched to normal chips. I went on to order carrot cake for dessert, but there was none available. I gave up with dessert. The food was a little less average. Definitely not worth the prices they are charging. I never got my chips despite asking three different members off staff before the film started. I got a refund for this at the end. The only saving grace of this entire night was that Barbie was brilliant. Crystal Palace Everyman Cinema - please do better. Every guest is important. I could see that the majority of your staff on the whole were trying their best and rushing around. There is obviously some sort of system or organisational fault that needs to be addressed.

Anywhoooo...THANK Goodness and the Cinema God for blessing Crystal Palace with this Gem!
** Update Dec 22 ** After a couple of years since the last visit I wanted to update you with a reminded of how much I enjoy this Everyman cinema, still one of the best around ********* Alongside Everyman, Hampstead. It's in our Top 3 - One of the newer venues, and we had an excellent experience here. What we realised/can suggest is that when a new film has an opening. We would tend to book this because it always seems to add a nice touch to this. This time around, and providing us with a free taste/glass of a new Orange Gin (18's Only, of course) - and a warm welcome before the film started. Those touches, delicate touches, create a prober cinema film. It's like how you would imagine the olden day but this time around, with no smog or smoke in front of you. An old school feeling but with a truly modern twist. The staff were friendly and always helpful. Even if you play the Piano - there's an upright one waiting to use. We always like their attractive options of Ice Cream pots, where you get a selection of choices so they can throw it all into a Jar for you. Great for kids, even better for us Adults (That's what we like to tell ourselves), ha! So, yes, that's us for today's top tip. A must-go! A very strong A***** LDT x
On the face of it a great cinema, run by nice staff. Dinner in the bar was good, but all our chips were cold. The music was so loud in the seating areas that we could hardly talk over dinner. If I wanted to go out dancing I wouldn't choose a Cinema. (fun for the staff - not the clients) An astonishingly helpful young lady took my order for a pudding in the Cinema. It never turned up. I went out half way through the movie, and told a member of staff. They said they'd sort it straight away. It never appeared. Screen four rumbles when the screen below has a bassey sound track. The silent bits of our film were spoiled by this noise from the other film. Finally on requesting a refund for pudding a rather surely young guy didn't seem happy to appllogies. Just said 'yes, that's bad..' I was in a queue with five other people who had not recieved thier food/wine. Pretty shoddy. If you are going to shoot for the moon, then you need to be better organised. Otherwise don't offer the table service at all, it's just disappointing and frustrating. Back to the Picture House for me.
I would like to think that me and my husband just went on a bad day, firstly customer service wasn't the greatest. We was told to sit down and someone would take our orders, we waited & waited nothing. A lady sat were we was sitting and within minutes someone took her order whilst we was still waiting. We waited around 10mins for drinks. The cinema experience wasn't great staff in and out constantly to bring people's food and drinks during the film. This should be done 30mins before the film starts, we ordered chips and it came out cold. I spoke to a member of staff about the chips he said for me to find him after the film for a refund, he didn't even offer to get fresh hot chips. Film finished I didn't see that guy, I shouldn't have to chase someone for a refund this should of been resolved very quickly. Popcorn didn't taste fresh, it tasted like it was there all day out in the open. I loved the seating but will only come to watch movies but not order any food or drinks as total disappointment on that part. Definitely go for the seating comfort only.
Cinema with a difference. Comfortable seats with space in front of you. Even though people get up to go out your view is not impeded nor do you have to get up much to let them past as there is space. Service to your seat so very little queueing. Staff are very helpful and actually provide you with a service as an individual. Coffee used to be good quality but now seems to be coloured water. Food also has gone down a bit. If you like alcohol then there is a reasonable selection to choose from as with soft drinks. Customers are also somewhat more polite in general - though you do get the odd ones they are rarer. Altogether a more civilised experience and worth the extra cost. Parking may be a bit difficult so expect a walk, though the bus stops are right outside or just down the road and the train station a short walk also. Leave the car have a drink or meal a walk in the park and a good film and let the train take the strain. Accessibility is haphazard and toilets upstairs. Lift is not always usable so do have assistance with you otherwise skip it.
I visited Everyman Crystal Palace for a 10 a.m. showing of 'Spiderman into the Spider-Verse'. As soon as I entered the cinema I was warmly welcomed by at least three members of staff, which automatically stuck out to me. The decor of the outside and inside of the cinema was absolutely beautiful; plush and luxurious. It was wonderfully decorated and seemed to have all the necessary amenities clearly laid out as soon as you enter. There are plenty of seating areas, so i can imagine that when the bar area gets busy during evenings and weekends, there would be plenty of space for a large number of guests. The film was shown in one of the two-seater sofa screens (Screen 1) and it was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The seating was slightly tiered for good viewing and the sound and picture quality was great! I would definitely recommend this cinema and I will be going again in future, as it was a lovely place to visit.
I wanted to be impressed with this Everyman as it is local. Firstly, the alcoholic drinks are very expensive and filled up with ice. Took ages for the drinks to be served to us after they were paid for. Ordered a Mojito that tasted extremely bitter. Bar woman gave us a lemonade to make it taste better. The host dealing with our screen, asked everyone else if they were here to see Evil Dead Rising except us. She walked straight past without saying a word. An item had been missed off our order and instead of checking, she dismissed us and said it was coming from the kitchen! It was an item that was behind the bar. All she had to do was ask someone at the bar. Not impressed with the service or efficiency. If I wanted to spend my bank holiday watching staff chatting to each other, then fine. But I didn’t. I won’t be going back unfortunately. The film was good and the cinema had comfortable seats. But that’s about it really.
Myself & my partner chose to visit Everyman (Crystal Palace) this evening to watch a Movie. Used the Toilets before our film was ready to Start in which we were both really disappointed as they were very dirty looked as though obviously hadn’t been cleaned properly in a while! Putting that into the back of our heads quite quickly had a good look at the menu & Opted for the following: Cookie Dough with Vanilla ice Cream & Honeycomb Bites. Well guess what.. cookie dough was stone cold & after paying for both items they didn’t have the Honeycomb bites by this time all this was going on the movie had actually started! Just found the whole visit all so surreal being completely honest! Wasn’t even offered a Refund for the item that didn’t turn up? We both have visited this Cinema before but definitely will NOT be going back it’s definitely gone down hill We thought this was a premium venue clearly not the case! ⭐️
We went to watch the creator yesterday evening on arrival a nice lady came up to us saying they didn’t have any servers so we weren’t able to get any food. We were a little annoyed as we were planning to order food. We ordered popcorn and some drinks and sat down in the screen, after like 15 minutes of waiting for the film to start we saw servers giving food other people like burgers and desserts etc. we was very confused as we was told we couldn’t get food. My partner went to ask them and they said they are doing food but it’s too late to order for our screen. However if we collect we can order now, so we did , and got our food an hour into the movie starting. The miscommunication could have been avoided, If they gave us the correct information in the first place. The popcorn was horrible it was bitter and had the weirdest taste. The food was ok, seats were comfy as ever and the vibe is always good.
Love Love Love This Cinema!!! It's local. It's boutique. It's beautiful. It's bespoke...yeah... kinda Screens: Very soft surroundings and plenty of leg room and in-screen service is what you pay for here... Bar: Yes there is a fully stocked bar and I was not the only one sipping what at what o'clock (12noonish)....there was a healthy que behind me!!! The staff seem very busy doing other things other than customer serving so I did feel it for the one man at the till situation - however he handled the que like a boss and kept calm under the pressure of popcorn hungry seeking children and wine enquiring day drinking adults...let me say less Moving on .. Food and Drinks are good but even better served just before the movie starts!!! This is not Ritzy or Odeon and this is NOT for Everyone but Everyman Crystal palace is one to go at least once to see the difference and then decide!
UPDATE: Second time there, at a busier time. Still great service and excellent viewing, even in the smaller screen we had this time. Deep clean needed. Game changer experience at Everyman cinema. The service was outstanding the second we walked through the door. It was like going to the theatre in the west end but watching a film. The interior is absolutely gorgeous. Admittedly the seats in the bar could do with a wash though. Drinks were lovely. We had milkshakes and cheesy fries, which came with ketchup and mayo. The chips tasted old but the milkshakes were lovely. The orders were taken at our seats and brought just before the start of the film. Even the toilets were amazing, very clean and beautiful, and all were suitable for use for those with disabilities. I'm not sure I can go back to my regular cinema after this. Superb.
I've been here a few times and each time the food has been an absolute let down. The first time, the bun on my chicken burger was completely soggy- it was disgusting! They offered to remake it but I was completely put off by that point. The second visit, I simply ordered fries, and they arrived luke warm, not hot. And the third time, the popcorn was very stale tasting. I ended up leaving it. I let the manager know my issues with food each time I had visited and he wasn't at all interested. He simply dismissed me and wasn't willing to even offer a simply apology. Very poor management skills and customer service. Though the overall experience (more intimate, sofas- check before sitting down as some are dirty and could use a steam clean, friendly staff) is good, I would advise you skip the food at this Everyman.
Stale popcorn and rude staff. Upon arrival myself and my partner were ignored and greeted with a dirty look from one of the female staff members, whilst she greeted others with a friendly welcome but not us. As LGBT+ individuals this made us both feel very uncomfortable for the whole experience. It gave the assumption that she was being discriminatory. Whilst seated waiting for the film to start, the same female staff member was asking others in the screen room what food + drink they wanted but didn't once come to us. She ignored us that much that she didn't event want to check our tickets (whilst checking other peoples tickets). So we had to just walk into the screen room and sit down. After paying a bit of money for tickets, food and drink it was a disappointing experience. Although we did enjoy the film.
A week ago we visited the cinema to watch Mission Impossible and paid for ice cream and shake. Only ice cream received. Requested shake but never arrived. This week we watched Barbie and ordered again some food. Arrived quickly but Hot dog was almost cold, bread dry. The chicken of the burger was almost cold. The fries did not taste good and were almost cold. Looked like left overs. We left the food as we were afraid to get food poisoning. Furthermore, guests sit next to our seats complained that half of their popcorns container was full of uncooked corn so they couldn’t eat it. On top of it we noticed that the treys used to collect the used plates and glasses were left on the floor by the elevator. The experiences were honestly awful. I’ll continue to watch movies but forget anything else.
It’s very sad to see the Everyman cinema Crystal Palace being neglected. There is always lots of mess around the bar area, dirty glasses and crockery and stock that hasn’t been put away. When we arrived at 7:30pm and went up the screen 4 on the top floor the chef in dirty clothes lying in the sofa watching his phone with the volume turned up!! The cinema seats are really stained and in need of deep clean. I ordered a banana milkshake but was told they didn’t have bananas. They never have bananas so why keep the banana milkshake on the menu! Lots of people seemed to be complaining about their drink orders before the film started. The staff are very casual and really need some training to be a bit more professional. It’s such a shame the management don’t seem to care as it’s a great building.
Probably my favourite theatre to go to in terms of experience and aesthetic of the building. It's an amazing art deco style theatre house with beautiful lighting, furniture and fixtures. The seats/sofas inside the theatre are really comfortable and it's so nice to have all that room. I do have to knock a star off for how expensive it is, you can easily spend £100 on tickets, drinks and food for two people in a night. It's worth it every now and then but I wish they would bring their prices down or have more deals/offers on. Also it can be very confusing and distracting in a busy theatre when staff are trying to bring food out to people after the film has started and can't remember who ordered what, although it can be quite comical too.
Watched The Meg 2. The waiter was rude when taking my order, along with that an hour into the film, I did not order any of my food. I went out of the film once to ask the manager where the food was and he replied saying he’d go and speak to the kitchen and bring the food to me. 20 minutes later, I went outside of the film, I saw the manager along with another employee eating food while I still hadn’t received any of mine. This lead me to requesting a refund. The food finally arrived 15 minutes later. The food was Luke warm like it hadn’t been ‘freshly made’ like the manager said it would be hence the wait. TERRIBLE VENUE. DO NOT COME HERE.
Ordered an ice cream at Crystal Palace Everyman. I claimed it to 4 different people without success, chef included aware. 50min after, I decided to request the refund. I was given a guest pass to see a movie on them, and I was told he will give me the refund after the movie. The ice cream finally came (disaster movie experience tho so I practically missed an hour of the movie). However, I told him bye and I didn't claim the refund so an hour later the ice cream arrived. My surprise is to see that the guest pass doesn't work. What a shame of customer service and even trick the customer with a reward which doesn't work. A real shame.
They ran out of food, the menu online was not the same as what they was serving and they offered free Popcorn and drink which was not even received due to the fact they tan out of food. They then offered free tickets at the end at the movie when asked for they again said they would email them to all people but again this was not received!!!. Also I ordered a cookie dough and ice cream and was not received which at the end of the movie I had to go and get my money back and the assistant manager at first didn't even want to refund me is he crazy??. Was an absolute shambles. However the movie Black Panther2 was AMAZING.
sorry to say that this has maybe... fallen into the 'vaulted priced without reason' category. I've been a strong advocate for Everyman for several years. The extra for the experience - relaxed and multipurpose atmosphere, food and service - was definitely worth it. A good night out or a good family view. But the standards have, perhaps inevitably, slipped. The portions are smaller, the alcoholic drinks very average, the milkshakes are milk... very little else. Standards are the definingmeasure for the extra expense. Without them... well. .Lets hope this downward trend over my last three visits doesn't continue.
This place has gone downhill... filthy dirty, bad service.... the whole serve-in-seat concept only works if the service is good. Unfortunately, we waited nearly an hour for popcorn and the film was constantly interrupted by delayed orders coming in. Go to a standard cinema where you'll pay less than half the ticket price, get your drinks and snacks when you want them and the film isn't being interrupted constantly! I complained via email, but after waiting 4 weeks for a reply I got a standard template response, so it's clear they could not care less about poor customer service.
Go to this place if you want a wannabe luxury experience where a lot of people are pretentious acting they’re at the Ritz or Savoy. If you’re happy with waiters walking in front of the screen constantly to get people the food that they really could be getting before the film, go to this place. If you want really small screens that is disturbed when anyone walks in or out, go to this place. The only reason why I did not give it just the 1 star is because of the outstanding staff working there. Trust me you do not want to watch a film surrounded by those pretentious clients.
The viewing experience was good, in terms of the plush seating and wide screens however the food quality was absolutely terrible Considering the prices it was an absolute rip off, stale popcorn in the smallest of boxes, I also bought an ice cream sundae and it was the cheapest tasting vanilla ice cream it reminded me of Tesco value choc ice. The nachos were the same a handful of stale nachos with an option of 1 dip for £6 is daylight robbery. Is anything quality these days it’s soo disappointing and totally ruined my viewing experience! Do better please
Since the very moment we stepped in, the cinema was a disappointment. Rude staff, indifferent at best. They asked us to sit and wait for someone to take our order, they never came. In the room, no one was taking orders either. My bf had to go out and order instead… halfway through the film, someone came to ask if we had ordered food… 10 minutes later they brought the wrong order, after returning the wrong pizza, they never brought the actual order… what’s the point of worrying about food when all you want is watch a film… next time, Netflix….
Made three visits to the bar to locate my pizza and coke. Each time I was assured it would come. My partner had not eaten and was not able to enjoy the film, I missed important parts of the film. I tried to complain and was told that I would get a refund as if that was a resolution ? ….i explained that I’m entitled to a refund and that he needs to understand to refund me the tickets also….thats when he started responding with I don’t understand. I will be making a formal against the manager and ensuring this escalated properly ….
The everyman cinema came recommended by friends and family, so I had high expectations. It was good, it was extremely busy so we were told to go to our screen and sit and someone will serve us but they didn't until we flagged a member of staff and she was kind and Friendly, courteous that the film had started so too order quickly and the food came out quickly. The seats were so comfy, felt like you were at home watching a movie. I like how the film was introduced by staff it added a nice touch.. Will definitely be going back
First time visiting the Crystal Palace Everyman and what an amazing experience. Firstly the cinema rooms are unreal it’s like being in a theatre with a huge chandelier on the ceiling and beautiful decor. Secondly, the staff were so friendly which you don’t always get at cinemas. Chloe the manager and James in particular were wonderful. So lovely helping us chose the best bits to eat on the menu, but also so friendly and smiley and obviously very keen to make sure we had a fab Friday evening. Thank you Chloe and James Jess x
Everyman Cinema is one of those places you drive past and you instantly yearn to visit. Well I finally did and it lived up to my imagined expectations. Stunning interior with an eclectic industrial/ art deco flavour. We ordered a meal before the film with the choice of eating beforehand or whilst watching the film. Great menu, fresh ingriedients, you must try the pizza! The outer lobby is heated with lovely a lovely seating area. The staff are outstanding in terms of customer service. Very friendly and helpful.
This is the best cinema I have personally attended! Went with the wife to watch the new 'Fantastic Beasts'. All I can say 'WOW'. The cinema itself looks fantastic, the staff are very nice and polite. The screen seating are on a next level. The screens were small but perfect for this type of cinema. The seats are all sofas with nice cushions, plenty of feet space to stretch and sit very conformably. I was told this was the deck d day of opening, they are doing a fantastic job. I watched the film in screen two.
Fantastic cinema. Decor is great, atmosphere is chilled. Sofas in Screen 2 are snug for 2 but v comfy and good leg room. Every single member of staff we came across was so nice and friendly and make the evening even nicer. Menu is varied and food v nice and snacks are lovely. Pricey but if you’re only going now and again, it’s nice to have as a treat. If you go weekly then I’d take your own sweets and popcorn! Ordering at your seat is great. Definitely recommend.
I've truely become a fan of the Everyman cinema brand. The Crystal Palace branch is stylish and elegant. Great spot for a date or friendly catch up, with spaces to have a drink or snack outside the screens both upstairs and down. All staff, each time I've gone, have been friendly and attentive. And of course, their food and drink options are especially great for adults including hot drinks and alcoholic beverages. Definetly one of my go-to spots when in the area.
Was fortunate to attend one of the "dry launch" events in advance of the formal opening of the Everyman next week. Simply sensational in every regard, a magnificent, opulent four screen destination at the heart of what is becoming one of THE places to visit and live in London. 50 years is a long wait for the return of a cinema to the triangle, but it's been worth it on the strength of this experience which will rekindle anyone's love for the silver screen.
Outstanding experience!❤️ Staff was nice, we have been very well attended from the minute we walked in. Interior is really beautiful, seats very comfortable (they’re actually sofas), and food was great, we had a vegan dog, a vegan cheesburger and fries, all really tasty. You can just order while sitting waiting for the film to start and they will bring your order. Amazing experience, great cinema and service, strongly recommend it. We’ll be back soon.
Love love love this cinema. The food, atmosphere and seating is on point. You can order from their extensive menu to your seat (which are perfect for couples as they practically mini couches). I built my own sundae and they did not stoosh on the toppings and my partners drink was on par with a chic Central London bar for a decent price. Would definitely go again and highly recommend it for date night. Staff were extremely friendly and attentive as well.
Great cinema experience. This cinema brings really diverse films or theatre performances and combines it with an outstanding comfort, superb customer service, great food and drinks offerings and a unique treat. Me and my girlfriend went to watch a recorded theatrical performance while having some food. The seats are so comfortable (couches with pillows). Prices are totally affordable for a luxury experience such as this. Will surely go back!
“The cinema looks nice, but when we arrived early, the lights in the screen room were still on, revealing how dirty it was inside. Unfortunately, the food didn’t meet our expectations. I ordered the beef hot dog and cookie dough for dessert, both of which were disappointing. To make matters worse, my wife’s glass of wine had black dirt inside it, and she had to leave to get a replacement. Overall, our experience was far from satisfactory.”
A great place to go when it's not too busy. Ordering food for delivery at your seat can be hit and miss if there are too many people. But when the foods good, it's worth the wait. Sadly, they no longer do their delicious prawns, and their butter chicken, but I enjoy the halloumi. Much of the options are plant based, hummus, I lives, salsa etc. Lovely comfy seats (albeit a bit low for my knee!) and helpful staff. Always enjoy a visit.
Pretty rubbish experience here to be honest. I booked a sofa on the back row of screen 4 and if you’re taller than 5’8 don’t bother. The leg room was absolutely diabolical it was like I was on an ryanair flight! The film was 3 hours long so you can imagine the pain of 2 blokes 6’2 and 6’5. It was very frustrating because the rest of the rows seemed to have a lot of room, people had their legs crossed straight out in front of them!!
The location is great. The cinema is great. The staff and organisation are awful. Food doesn't arrive, queues for refunds after the film ends. They refuse to let you buy popcorn and walk in with it, promising to deliver food to your seat. Yet 3 out of ten visits they completely screwed this up. How does a cinema run out of popcorn? How can a cinema refuse to let you order as you arrived during the adverts?
I have tried the food on a few occasions and it's been mostly pretty good. But since I'm on a health kick for most of this year I haven't been able to eat that often lately. It would be good if they had healthier options. Like the other everyman cinemas this place is clean with friendly staff. Good selection of beers and wine. Personally as a mainly cider drinker they don't have my preferred cider choices.
A pleasant experience overall. Definitely more on the pricey side with the food being okay at best. I would not recommend going there for dinner rather just small plates or snacks. My honey halloumi was a bit disappointing but my tortilla chips and guacamole was tasty. Seated are very comfortable as they are sofas and staff are very nice as long as you are visible as it’s quite dark inside.
This place was amazing, the decor was fabulous. They gave really generous portions of food too. The seats were very well spaced out so no one got in your way when trying to watch the movie. The sofas were very comfy and we also liked the tables on the side of the chairs although some of the food didn't fit because we ordered too much. Would deffk recommend this for date night or any night.
Great new local cinema for Crystal Palace. The new cinema has four screens to view film. New bar is good to use and service is quick. Good range of hot and cold food is also available. They do offers on food at lunchtimes so watch out for the offers that the have. Not just new films available also a range of old classics and some you may of missed before. Comfortable and cosy seating also.
My first time at Everyman and I was really happy. Such a lovely experience from the minute I walked through the doors. Staff welcoming and attentive, the decor was fab, art deco with a Gatsby feel to it. Food was delicious which was delivered to your very comfy sofa and not forgetting the vanilla milkshake with a shot of bailey's . I cant wait for another good movie so I can go again.
I loved watching trailers in beautiful quality in such a high resolution on such comfortable seats with great service! (I can't watch the movie I'm too poor) But when I start watching the movie a man called Marvin? Or Meredith? Keeps kicking me out!!!! Just because I didn't buy a ticket!!!! anyways 10/10 would recommend!
Absolutely love this little gem in Crystal Palace visited for the first time Friday 18th Aug. Really cool and relaxed way of watching a movie while being served food. The seating area in the front is decorated beautifully and has very intimate areas you can sit with while waiting for friends or enjoying a drink before the movie. I will definitely visit again very soon.
Whilst the venue is very clean and nice, and it's a nice experience, we were underwhelmed with the service and the food: We ordered the chicken burger and it arrived luke-warm and was so incredibly dry, it was like eating cardboard - not nice at all. The service is ok, but didn't feel very attentive. Lots of staff chatting to each other rather than focussed on serving.
Literally the best cinema I've been to. My friend took me here for my birthday. I am a fan of the more low-key, stripped back, unassuming cinema which oozes luxury. If you are looking for experience, this is the place to go (or any other Everyman) I had a milkshake, beef dog and sweet popcorn served to my seat. Service was excellent. Will definitely be visiting again.
Absolutely love this cinema, but I would warn others about membership to this cinema chain. After ending an annual subscription, they continued to take my money for for a further 6 months and have refused to return my £150 After 3 months of being fobbed off on the phone and no offer of alternative compensation, I've had to just accept my loss. Otherwise great cinema.
Go and support this establishment - even if not to watch a film but to utilise the bar and dining area As soon as I walk in I just feel at peace, amazing decor (art deco) and atmosphere Even between screenings it its less busy you can just lose yourself in your surroundings. Probably the most relaxed bar in Crystal Palace despite not even being a bar!
I love the Everyman. Today I didn't even see a film. I had a friend in town so we crossed the road to the Everyman and had a late lunch and glass of wine each. Fabulous neo-deco decor, great burgers (one Philly steak, one halloumi) and great wine. A classy stop off. Can't wait to visit again as part of the Crystal Palace International Film Festival.
This place has Fantastic great customer service and a great ambience, you can order from your chair and it will be brought to your seat. Snuggle sofas for the 2 of you or stretch your feet out if you're interested. The only bad point is there is no parking outside the venue and parking is only free after 6:30pm. Other than that can't fault the place
I normally love this cinema but was very disappointed with the level of cleanliness when I visited yesterday. All staff are generally lovely, the manager goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is comfortable but the chairs were filthy! Please steam clean your chairs. I’ve been attending for many years and it’s never been like this before.
I highly recommend Everyman Cinema to anyone looking for a unique and luxurious movie-going experience. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, the food and drink options are excellent, and the picture and sound quality are second to none. It's the perfect destination for a date night, a special occasion, or simply a night out with friends.
Brilliant venue! Wonderful attentive staff! Slightly more expensive than a normal cinema but this isn't a normal cinema. Sofa seating (so comfi!) Table next to you, lots of leg room and food and drinks bought to you at your sofa if you order before the film starts. Best experience ever and well worth every penny. Definitely going again!
We went here for a double date and it was a lovely experience. The sofas were comfy and the nibbles & coctails were delightful we were tended to at our seats and had a warm personal intro before the movie stared. We went to watch Creed the movie. The cinema was small and cosy. Thanks for having us Everyman Crystal Palace
Great cinema, food was nice although pricey it was a treat though and considering it was to watch the new Top Gun movie having been many years since the first with Mr Cruise and Mr Kilmer was good to enjoy it as a birthday treat with our son. Lovely art deco interior. Some confidence training with staff needed.
Lovely local Everyman in a restored 1920s cinema building on the Crystal Palace triangle. Have a drink and food in the foyer bar, or enjoy it in the screen. Comfy sofas (although why are there so many cushions?!) Ticket prices are relatively high compared to other cinema brands but the experience is worth it.
First time I ever went. Loved it! Really friendly staff. One member of staff even said when we finish watching our film in screen 1 we should pop our head round and have a quick look at screen 2 as it's much nicer. . Great food also served in comfortable surroundings, to eat while watching the film.
My daughter took me to the Everyman cinema to watch the film John Wick 4. The atmosphere good. Food and drinks served to us at our seats. The only issue was there were small pillows in all seats if one fall on the floor it could be hazardous when leaving your seat in the dark to use the restroom.
Sofas are filthy, rancid smells of damp had stains on them all and the service was very poor I ordered a milkshake and chips why did it take an hour to come and the chips were cold so I sent it back and it still wasn't fresh smh worst cinema experience wouldn't recommend
So so, decor is great, generally a good vibe. But for the price almost £50 for two tickets, one drink and a popcorn, waitress forgot our drinks order even though there were only a handful of customers, popcorn was stale and the sound in the actual screen wasn't great.
So, so happy to have an Everyman cinema in Crystal Palace. I’ve been a few times and it’s always been a great experience with attention to details from the staff. Also no popcorn on the seats or annoying people chatting during the movies like in some Odeon/Vue venues
The bar staff generally seem to be too cool for school. They didn’t even acknowledge me as I stood to the bar. A hello and smile cost nothing. Not impressed. Won’t be returning. This is not a cheap ticket and they need to up their game if they want return business.
Disgusting treatment and service by the manager Will, i have made a serious complaint to head office, ruined my evening, made to feel very uncomfortable and not welcome at all! Very disappointed as the other Everyman cinemas have been fantastic with their service,
Nice cinema but the sofa looked a bit dirty. Could do with a steam clean every now and then and there was popcorn crumbs on it. Not sure if it’s worth £35 for 2 tickets though. Food was nice and that wasn’t so expensive. The guacamole and tortilla chips was yummy
Nice and cosy cinema. Next time I will bring my small blanket for additional comfort Book early to get your preferred seating, we were right at the front, a bit too close to the screen. They bring your drinks and food orders to your seats. Beautiful inside …
The staff were friendly, took orders in the showing and the food arrived quickly. The burger and chips was nice, as was the cookie dough and ice ream. Highly recommended. I didn't see any of the problems others reported, so perhaps they've improved recently
Love this place, hospitality and food great. The seats are as comfy as my own sofa and you get food brought to. No complaints here. Even if you’re not watching a film, it’s a great place to meet up have a drink, eat some food and catch up on emails.
The best cinema establishment I've ever been to. Service was excellent. Had a drink and a Supreme SpielBurger before the movie, then was served a coffee in the cinema itself. Sound and screen was top notch. The comfort of the lounging chairs is fab.
Love this cinema, saw The Creator last night (meh), bit disappointed this time by the dirty screening room though and general sense of confusion in the place(screen 1), not up to usual standards expected there, run a Dyson round inbetween shows !!
First time attending and I'm impressed, great service from the staff, the seating is very comfortable with the cushions provided. The mixed popcorn felt like it was 70% salted and 30% sweet though Lots of options off food and drinks on offer
Really beautiful cinema with great service, super comfy seats. Price is so reasonable as well. You can place your order before or after you have been seated, and your order gets delivered to you. First class service. Great cinema experience.
Had great experiences here before, but the last visit was a disaster. For nearly £15 I was refused a drink at the bar as apparently they were only serving drinks to people in cinema seats - our screen was still being cleaned, so had to sit
The lady we were greeted by was not very welcoming or accommodating, the cinema is very small compared to other Everyman venues I’ve been to and the seats were dirty. The staff that served us were actually very nice and helpful thankfully
This Cinema is outright stunning! I mean drop dead gorgeous. Seriously, I know that's not why people use cinemas, but its outstanding. The staff here are very good in my experience. The Armchairs and sofas are really comfortable. You can
I really like this place. It feels so luxurious having a hot tasty burger and fries delivered to your comfy sofa seat for a relatively reasonable (it's still London) price during the adverts and trailers. Drinks and sweets not so much
Food was aweful but the venue was great. Loved the set up. Not too keen on always having to lift up our feet to let the waiting staff pass to get to other customers but I love the idea of what they done. Definatly a great date nite
Really lovely cinema with gorg decor and comfy sofas while you watch your film. Friendly staff! Only downside was that half of the food and drinks menu was either unavailable or sold out but that’s minor! Still had a great night!
Oreo milkshake did not meet my inital high standards from my last visit. Hope it was just the change of staff but even so they should be trained adequately to provide decent food. Not worth my initial hype which breaks my heart.
Much like every everyman cinema I've visited, simply the best cinema experience. Food, drink, service...the most comfortable armchair seats. Great films that you might not see in the big multiplexes. I'd go every day if I could!
Overly priced, but the service and screen have never disappointed. For viewers who treat the cinema as a rare treat and an outing. Rooms are small. And back seats are more level than middle isle seats compared to larger chains.
Sofas in reception looked very dirty, didnt sit on them as i had white trousers on. The popcorn was sticky and disgusting tasted stale. The actual theatre was cosy. Had a pizza and cookie dough with ice cream which was nice.
Beautiful art Deco cinema, excellent screening rooms (Screen 3 is couches and pre film table service!) and great food and drink. Does that rare thing of being so good you'd want to go there to not even watch a film.
Best cinema in London! The sofa seat is so cozy and the imperial interior is glamorous! You can have your drink by the little attached table and relax, it really feels like watching at home in your favourite sofa!
I like this cinema. Nice ambience in foyer area, can sit and have sonething to eat, a hot drink or alcohol. Comfortable seating once in cinema, staff nice and helpful and if you go am to midday reasonable price.
Fantastic cinema experience. Tickets are pricey but it's worth it for the comfortable seats, the polite staff and the all round atmosphere. There was a mix up with our food order and we were given a free drink.
I enjoyed the experience but I wouldn't go again. The sofas and decor definitely pleasing to the eye but that was it really. Once the light's went out I couldn't see what I was eating. The person next to
Lovely stylish cinema and bar. Screen 4 is large and has roomy / comfortable seats. Great little Korean film on today - Past Lives. Concessions available for older folk. Would thoroughly recommend.
What a gem, we saw Downton and it was one of the best cinematic experiences ever. Loads of legroom somewhere to rest your feet and lovely soft cushions it was being at home. Great experience
Cinema on a different level. Like being in your front room with a side table and a cushion. Just amazing to walk in and see the wonderful art deco style bar and seating. Just lovely!
Lovely local Everyman cinema with comfy sofas, fantastic snacks, great meals and delicious cocktails! I treated myself with a membership so I can take friends for free on Mondays!
Everyman cinema Crystal Palace defo a 10/10 atmosphere! The cocktails are amazing, and the staff are friendly. The food menu is nice especially the prawns this place is a must go!
Nice decor. Clean. Hospitable staff that welcome you as you enter. Fantastic service. Great food. What more could you want? Not our first time here. Will not be our last.
It’s finally here! Wonderful 1930s refurbishment. A great special new addition to Crystal Palace. A fantastic movie experience with a sophisticated bar. A great treat.
The oreo milkshake was too sweet and extremely runny, heard a lot of good things from people so was disappointed to see it did not live up to it’s expectations.
Absolutely stunning, swanky venue. Smart deco, and excellent customer service and movie experience. Went to see Barbie the movie and the film was awesome too.
