Not a very good selection at this store and the management leaves something to be desired...I've gone to this store a few times for their end of season sales and the selection is usually pretty bad. I found that the Express store downtown and the one in Lincoln Park were much bigger and had a lot more to choose from.On top of that, the management here is pretty unhelpful. I had a situation where I ordered a couple items online during the 50% off everything sale during Black Friday and both items were lost in the mail (why they decide to use USPS is beyond me). Express refunded me for the order, but this wasn't very helpful as I still wanted the 50% off sale price. I went into this store and asked to talk to the manager. After giving him the full story and asking if he would meet the sale price from the week before, he flat out told me "no." No excuse or anything, just "No, sorry. Have a nice day!" I was very irritated, but decided to go to the Express on North Avenue in Lincoln Park and talk to the manager there. The manager there didn't even let me finish my sentence; he said it was no problem and met the online sale price on both of my items! That's what you want to see in customer service.Suffice it to say, I will not be returning to this location. If you want to get Express clothing, make the trip to the Express on North Ave or Michigan Ave. Much better selection and service.

I came in Saturday, July 10th in the afternoon. It was very a very clean store, not much fashionable clothing to pick from but I found 4 items I did not already own. I LOVE EXPRESS, I always shop there it doesn't matter what city or town I'm in. This location was depressing, the associates did not greet me nor ask if I needed help finding anything. The ladies at the register had a bad attitude. I was really surprised, not what I am used to. Two male associates where having a whole conversation right next to me while I waited to check out. Yes, I waited to check out, eventhough the ONLY customer was me. Lol The ladies at the register acted as if I was not standing there to pay. I did not get mad, I laughed when I walked out and wondered why this store has so many stars on Google. Anyhow, just giving my honest experience.

The girls behind the counter don't know how to count money. It ended up with me getting a parking ticket because it took them more than the 5mins I had left when I walked up to pay for a shirt with cash. First it rang up wrong, and I gave them two $20's then realized that it should have been less than $20 with the 30% off. Instead of just giving me change for the $40 (I never took the change from them,) they turned it into a huge confusion and counted the money over and over and over again... As I ran out, the meter reader was right there as my time barely ended.. so much for a sale

I bought a dress on sale in store as an option for an event. I ended up wearing a different dress and going into the store to return the dress from this location. The associate told me it was "stained all over" and not in adequate resell condition. It was in a bag from the time I left the store until the time I returned it. Maybe this store shouldn't sell products with deodorant all over them and then blame their customers for the lack of quality assurance on their part. This is not the first time I've had problems here with returns, I am done with this location.

Came into the store with some online purchases made during their 40% off everything sale. Needed a new fit in one of the shirts I bought and a difference size in the jeans I bought. The manager that day named Ray, helped me from start to finish! He was able to even exchange everything I had even though you would normally have to pay the difference from the sale price. What a genuinely great experience. Will definitely go back because of their care for the customer.

The staff here are awesome! I've been here twice and both times were great. Really like the clothes too (got jackets, dresses, belts, jeans, and work blouses). Yes it's expensive, but you get what you pay for, and when there's a sale you can get great deals. Everything I've gotten from here has been durable and lasted for 2+ years as long as it's taken care of.

I came on a Monday evening and felt like I was such a huge bother to the express workers. They were chatting amongst each other instead of helping me out. The one at the cash register was very unpleasant to be around and didn’t want to answer my questions. She also rang me up wrong and didn’t apply my coupon to the correct shirt.

My bf forgot to pack his suit, but we had travelled to Chicago for business, so we raced in with an hour to get him everything. We got exactly what we needed with time to spare, and the gentleman who cashed us out (I forget his name, it was a months ago, Zack maybe...) was super helpful!

Would give zero stars for terrible customer service. They left security tags on my clothes and I had to make a considerable trip back and they offered up the lamest non apology like it was my fault. Manager on duty Janet this Saturday at 4pm was awful.

They were very helpful in letting me return online items. The woman even called the online number to help me out! This is the store on Diversey in Chicago. So if you're looking for great customer service at an Express this is the place to go!

The staff were very helpful while I was in the store. I spent an agonizing amount of time trying to find an outfit for a work event/concert. They even had great advice about what to so if you are in between sizes in jeans. Very helpful.

This is a hidden location in the little mall. They always have every size and there is usually not much traffic. That means you get the attention of the staff! I like express for staples and stylish in season trends.

Great customer service, the store is very clean with security. Hard to find street parking nearby, and the clearance section is pretty limited. Overall, good place to pick up some more formal wear.
