Service is awesome. From the gentleman that helped me during my original leasing of my unit, to the most recent hire and her general kindness and awesomely positive general demeanor, whom I've seen mostly in passing (as they're diligently gently keeping the facility maintained) - the staff are hard-working, kind, respectful, and dependable. The facility is clean (as I've seen multiple office staff members cleaning on a regular basis - which is reassuring) and secure with the utilization of security services when the office is closed offers me a peace of mind to know that my property is being kept safe on multiple levels. Additionally, I needed to transfer my unit from a smaller one to a larger one and the office worker Shirley worked diligently with kindness and care to make the process as seamless as possible. Absolutely recommended overall.

HORRIBLE facility. Staff is a bit odd but friendly enough. They are always begging for positive online reviews, to the point that it makes the conversation uncomfortable. The facility is FILTHY and in need of repair. 1 of the 2 elevators is usually not working along with the electronic sliding doors. Pricing is all over the board. I signed up for an online special and within 2 months they raised the rental rate to double the startup price - Very shady. The last time we were there we noticed at least 10 live cockroaches from the first floor to our unit on the third floor. We are waiting for the new facility on Fulton St., downtown Indy to officially open in January and then we are planning to vacate.

I first thought I found the right place .The first couple months was good . My problem with this place was I was told a price of $124.00 to move in then it goes to 81.00 dollars with insurance from now on as long as I have my unit . Come the third month I got a statement a week before my payment was due they raised it to 135.00 dollars a month $54.00dollars more than what I was told, I said to her I just moved in two months ago she said I know . Then she told me that it will be going up again in couple months so don’t believe what your told when you move in .very upset now I moved out till I find another unit somewhere.

Where do I begin from the reminders of my move in date them calling me to remind me so I don’t forget. Because moving can be so stressful then the sweet lady in the front office Ms. Shirley Holt was awesome. She went over and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with my storage unit and then explained to me how storage units works. She is such a kind lady. I will make sure any time I need storage unit I will return at ExtraSpace Storage plus my uncle was with me. We was really impressed with the customer service and cleanliness of this place.

I have been a customer for about 5 months. After 4 months of paying the rate that I agreed to Extra Space increased my rate without telling $80/month! That's insane. Luckily I called Marvin at my local center and he assisted me in getting a lower rate. He was super helpful and was honest and kind. I hope that all your people are like that! But I'm not happy about the sudden rate increase, that has nothing to do with the excellent customer service I received. Thank's Marvin! You were super helpful and you need a raise!

There was a mixup with the card we were using for payment; Shirley gave us a heads-up that we were late and she worked with me to get the proper card on file. I know that's basic customer service but basic customer service is lacking in so many places now that it's super-appreciated when you get it. The best part, however, is Shirley's friendliness and kindness while working through the problem. She is also very prompt to respond! I recommend this facility.

We rented the place almost a month ago before our big move. We show up last night with a rented truck to find the place with all elevators out of service. No email, no notification. No one to be able to even let us into our unit. We had to drag our mattress down a flight of stairs, as well as other boxes we needed to at least sleep in the new place. Not to mention the place had all doors wide open by disgruntled customers. Security breach galore. Beware.

Ms Shirley. Miss Shirley greeted me as I entered into the door which was very professional. She's quite pleasant and easy to speak with. She was more than eager to take me to my unit to show it to me to make sure that it was what I was looking for. This storage facility (and staff) is just amazing! I have never met a nicer woman! Shirley is fabulous and makes sure you get the unit you need. She showed me any/all units I wanted to view and explained everything to me. Not only that, but the facility was well made with renters in mind. Not like the last storage facility I just moved from (CubeSmart off Illinois, it was lousy!). Move your stuff here, you won’t regret it! :)

I have never needed a storage unit before. However I will recomend this awesome place called Extra Space Storage. If you want friendly service, a extremely clean unit and common areas you will rent there. Note the prices are very reasonable too. See the Manager once inside she was awesome. I wanted to post this so everyone in need of a small or large unit this is the place I have told friends and now Indy.

Washington location recently helped me rent a new unit. He was incredibly professional, patient, and accurate. He went above and beyond his responsibilities to make sure I was a happy customer. I recommend this location over other smaller storage facilities.

Ms. Shirley is the store rep. you hope to encounter at any place of business! She was very friendly, informative, and transparent— letting me know exactly what to expect at the time of move-in & months to come. This place was perfect. Had a great area to load/unload that was covered from weather, they had carts, elevators, you name it. Super convenient and made moving so much easier! Super clean facility and was perfect for storing college stuff for summer. Will def rent a unit again next summer.
