I visited today and a man named John who claims to be a pastor told me I'm not welcome at his church. What did I do you ask? I shared my understanding of 1 Timothy 2 and criticised his groups decision to allow female "pastors", though my view was not the reason I was unwelcome, John's fear is that I would share my knowledge with members of his congregation and desires to "protect" them from my views. Biblical discussion that challenges the "leadership" at this church is apparently forbidden.
Friendly church. Great to be a part of it. Praise God.
