Where do I start. We bought a bed with a 2-3 week expected delivery time. Well 3 weeks came and went, and we hadn’t heard a peep so we called up and we’re told it hadn’t come and to wait longer. Another week and we were told (after having to ask again) that it was at the distribution centre and we should get it the following week, we waited until Friday and called again and the regional manager took my call, informing me that the bed still wasn’t in and we would need to continue waiting, I asked when I could expect it as the estimated time had well and truely passed and she said she couldn’t give me an exact date. I expressed my dissatisfaction and was informed that my circumstance was not special, many people wait two to three times the given ‘expected’ delivery window for their products, and was told they would only consider compensating customers who were waiting 2 months or longer (that’s 5 weeks more than the expected delivery time given). I understand that Covid is uncertain , but it’s not an excuse when the company is aware the delays regularly exceed the ‘2-3 weeks’ they have advertised and other companies don’t seem to be experiencing these delays (we bought a bed for our spare online and it arrived the NEXT DAY). I would have happily ordered this bed much earlier if I had known it could take more than a month to arrive. Not only that but after the initial confirmation email, despite waiting SIX WEEKS total, I was not ONCE contacted by fantastic furniture, We had to go out of our way 6 times to ask what was going on. My last email was never even answered which I sent almost two weeks ago, and every time I spoke to someone they were unable to tell me when I would get the bed. My partner eventually called earlier in the week and was told we would get free delivery if it didn’t come before Friday (despite me being told we would have to wait 2 months for any compensation like that). Well it FINALLY arrived on Friday, but we had to pick it up because they were uncertain how the lockdown would affect delivery times and I wasn’t about to wait another 6 weeks. Absolutely appalled by the lack of customer service from this company.

tldr - Don't buy from here to save yourself from some headache and time. Support other reputable business with far better services with your hard earn money. Unless you are down to wait for the replacement product for a month (or longer) and have all the parts and pieces laying around the house. I would rate 0 or negative if I can. I ordered a display vision cabinet and I picked it up right before Christmas. Found a faulty metal bracket when I was building it half way through which prevents me from installing the glass door and other parts. Emailed them on 24/12 and to my surprise they need to lodge a claim to the warranty team for ONE small part. Sent through the details for the claim on 26/12 and the claim was lodged by the store staff on 31/12. Today is 12/1 and there is zero communication on how and when the issue will be resolved nor an apology from the business. The glass door is lying on the living room without other choices and the business has to understand not everyone has a big house and random glass pieces can just lying around without causing inconvenience. Well I guess they absolutely do not care judging from their responses and processes. They just take your money and it's all you to follow up tirelessly on the fault that they make and bare the inconvenience. I wholeheartedly agree on the previous review that Fantastic Furniture should not be called Fantastic because they are the entire universe away from being fantastic. This is my first purchase here and it will undoubtedly be the last one. I hope I had listened to the previous review and did not shop here. Please listen to all the bad reviews on this page if you are reading this. I hope you won't make the same mistake like I do. Order number 3482020100266 and claim srs 395422 if any of the fantastic furniture care enough to follow up.

This company deserves no stars at all I have been mucked around with Fantastic Furniture Highpoint. Purchased a couch a month ago - couch in store looked great no problems at all. Then all went down hill, couch was delivered and the pillows you sit on were too small for the couch. Called store to make a complaint about this and was just advised cant do anything in store send through an email - so did that & sent through the photos. I had no response to my email for a few days, tried also calling the store few times and no answer. Eventually got through and was told that now i needed to wait 6-8 weeks for 3 pillows. Thought to myself the money & quality of this couch is not worth waiting 6-8 weeks for 3 pillows, said no id like a new couch that doesn't have this problem. Waited another 2 weeks for another couch to be sent out - so had to take in the end 2.5 hours of work to wait for a driver to come pick up the first couch & then to take it back, then come back with the new couch. To unwrap it and it be worse than the first couch, seated pillows still small & don't fit & now the back pillows a smaller & don't fit. Moral to the story when you pay cheap you get cheap all round. Service was horrible, no one cared, every person I spoke to was ironic, rude “customer care” staff. They are slow, I sent the last driver away and am still yet to receive a response to my last email regarding it. Quality of the furniture both times round was horrible, how do you make 2 x couches with the wrong size pillows on both I don't understand how that works.

Really disappointed in the services here. Ordered a bed frame July 7 and waiting times said 1-3 weeks, understandable with everything that is going on times may very. I called on the 4th week to check in with where our product was at and the lady on the phone said it had arrived at the warehouse and would take 2 weeks to get delivered to the store to deliver to us. I called a week later to check what day it would be arriving and was told the same thing again, "I can see your order has arrived to the warehouse today so 2 weeks from today it will be delivered". I let them know I had heard this previously when I called and he reassured me that this was the latest update. Called again today and had someone else say the exact same thing- "I can see your order has arrived to the warehouse today so 2 weeks from today it will be delivered" When I asked her why I kept getting told "today" every time I called she said this was definitely the latest update. No updates have been sent through since I originally purchased it, have had to follow up every time. May be best to just see if they have it in stock before you wait for it to be delivered as extensive waiting times seem to be a common thing.

Purchased a couch in store 20 days ago. I was told it would be delivered in 14 days and they would contact me. No one ever called me. I called the stroe today (20 days later) and the couch is still not at the store. The staff member said they would put in a priority request for it, not explaining why i haven't received it yet or what a priority request means, she then tried to hurriedly get me off the phone. I asked when I should expect the couch now, and she said another week. Essentially Ive waited almost a month for a couch that was supposed to arrive in two weeks with no explanation, apology or attempt to resolve the problem. The staff clearly don't care and are not accountable for their services. Really frustrating. Would not purchase anything from them again. UPDATE The couch finally arrived and guess what? It is faulty! one of the legs can not be attached and the staff at the store advised me to use it without the leg...Please do not waste your hard earned money on this dodgy business.

Absolutely fuming. Ordered Dakota 5 seater chase over 6 weeks ago, absolutely no correspondence from FF in that time. Called at the 4 week mark and was told it would be another 2 weeks. Heard nothing further. Called the store on several different days last week, phone always rings out. Finally speak to someone today (6 week mark) who gave me absolutely no explanation as to why I have been kept in the dark. Then said it will be another 2 weeks and will be ready by the 8 week mark. They have no idea. Has production even started!? They will not confirm. I then called the Watergardens store who told me the fabric I ordered is discontinued and won't be produced until early October. Not once did the Maribyrnong store mention this. I dropped over 1200 dollars there only to never be seen or heard of again. Please do your self a favor and DO NOT order from Maribyrnong FF. Try Watergardens where they are honest and keep you in the loop from the get go. Words can't express my disappointment.

If I could give no stars I would. Ordered the Bevan xl mirror from highpoint store. The mirror came completely shattered, even the frame was broken. I called the highpoint store to express my concern about having such a large box full of broken glass in my house. I spoke a manager there who said she would look at atleast getting the mirror picked up asap, even if it was a little wait for the replacement. I was fine with this, then she hung up on on without ever actually getting my contact details. I emailed their online customer help, they replied a few days later, then after their initial reply took 3 days to actually order a new one, then told me that it would be 1-2 week wait. Considering the mirror is in stock at several stores right near my house, 1-2 weeks seems a bit much to begin with. It's been more than 2 weeks, still nothing has been delivered, I've complained several times, no one ever gets back to me, and I still have a huge box of broken glass sitting in my house.

This is just horrible. I have purchased items from fantastic furniture Hobart and they have been very good. Fantastic furniture in Melbourne’s is awful. Right after a year of buying my sofa, the spring is about to rip out of the lounge. Although we have purchased care, I raised the issue with customer care. I received a ticket no and no responses. I replied to the ticket number requesting a follow up. No response again. I raised the complaint the third time. No response again. It is a case of utter disregard and neglect. My .Customer Care: Request is: #851981. And please note, if I do not hear from you before the end of next week I am going to consumer affairs victoria, consumer court or whatever there is. No point keeping a predatory business model under cover. Nick and FF team reached out to me suggesting this will be sorted and I shouldn’t receive a call last Monday. No one called me yet,

Purchasing something already available went smoothly, but ordering in was a nightmare. Ordered a sofa on the 14th Jan and was advised up to 14weeks to collect. Have now just collected after approximately 15 phone calls to the store over the last 7 months. Each call the stores people gave us a different arrival date, or told us it had arrived at the main warehouse, or that it was lost and would be another 3 months. No storesperson wanted to pass us onto someone who could actually help, only fob us off. Thank you to Andrew who is filling in from another store and was finally able to contact Head Office to get us some answers. Although they also had no clue, he was willing to check out the back and found our couch.

Ordered a furniture package with the exception of two pieces which were not needed at the start of March and was told it would be ready in 6-8 weeks. Fully paid off the package in late March. Asked in store at the 7 week mark for an update and was told “probably another 1-2 weeks”. Rang at the 9 week mark and was told another two weeks but then told everything was available to deliver except the coffee table which hadn’t arrived yet. Delivery made on 19th of May still minus the coffee table and the wrong couch was packed by the warehouse. Rang the store to advise and the reaction was blasé and care free. Took 3 goes to get through on the phone as it was left to ring out. Very disappointing service.

Where do start with this mob. The worst store I have ever dealt with. My daughter bought a complete ensemble for her unit two weeks before her move date in store while still in another state. They assured us and the fantastic store we were in when she purchased it that it was all there and it would all be delivered on time and on the requested date. DID NOT happen she has only just now received the rest of her order which was all meant to be there on Tuesday and it is now Sunday. After calling them 4 times I was told most of it would be there on Wednesday and the last of it Thursday no extra delivery fee not only did it not turn up until now they wanted to charge her another fee.

Tried to return a mattress that was never used. Wouldn’t accept it as they needed the card that the transaction occurred on. I organied the person who bought it to come down (10 mins away). Kirby the sales assistant who was on a power trip was so rude! I asked if I could leave the mattress behind their counter as I had my little son with me and was hard holding the mattress and my son whilst I waited. She plain refused and said no because someone could steal it. Her manner and customer service was just quite ridiculous! If you ever feel the need to shop here AVOID KIRBY! She will treat you horribly. I think this girl needs to learn customer service and what respect is! So rude!!!

Waited 10mins to be served, although the floor staffs did knowledge my presence but still did not attempt to ask whether have I been served or not. Then I proceed to enquire about the sofa with the fabric colour that I wanted, and they did told me beforehand it will take approx 6 weeks to be delivered. I agreed to wait. 8 weeks in and I am still waiting, I called and ask when will I receive the sofa. They told it wont be another 2 weeks before they start production. For christ sake. A word of advice if you decided to buy a sofa from Fantastic Furniture and decided to choose a colour other than the floor stock, be prepared to wait for 12 weeks to receive the furniture.

I got a bit overwhelmed so many lounges sofas all so very nice so many to choose from I just don't know I want sofas but they are all pretty good it's hard to choose. Loved Fantastic's store I almost felt like jumping into one of the beautiful beds they look good comfy oh boy I was tempted to jump in curl up and snooooozzz. I had my worker with me I couldn't. No all good I think she would of jumped in one first and beat me to it. I reconm if it's furniture your after I recommend Fantastic furniture they have a variety of everything. The lady at the front desk was so friendly they let you look without getting menaced " Can I help you madam"?.....

Really disappointing. Just moved house and ordered a bed frame for click and collect, time frame given is 1- 2 weeks. Two weeks pass, I ring the store and they say sorry it was an incorrect time frame - will actually be closer to four weeks, if you pay delivery it will come in five to ten days. So another week? I do not want them to give them anymore money, so I wait four weeks. Still nothing - I call up this morning and she says it will either be in today, or next week. No apologies, just an annoyed tone that I am calling. Honestly - save yourself some frustration and go somewhere where they are more transparent with their customers and caring.

Disgusting. Nothing else that can describe their customer service. Was told to wait 6-8 days for a refund application to be dealt with, only to be contacted 8 weeks later requesting a tallboy back that was so bad in quality literally started falling apart after a month. Do not understand how they could possibly resell the piece as they requested images and saw the problem areas. Nidhi (the person dealing with the case) literally handballed the case and “escalated” to three different departments which I was only aware of after multiple emails and attempts to contact her. Will never buy from this store again. If only zero stars was an option.

Embarrassing. Our order was scheduled for delivery and then cancelled 3 times in a row. How it can be so challenging for just one basic item (small table and chairs) is beyond me. Customer service staff over the phone can’t actually do anything as there is a separate, presumably outsourced, delivery team who handles that. As such, they simply refer you to them, who are only contactable via their clunky online messaging page. I ended up putting through a request to simply cancel the whole order and while it was agreed to, I wasn’t shown an ounce of empathy or understanding. An apology for completely wasting our time would have been nice.

Very bad staff, the darker guy who works there only cares about selling the furniture and not helping us with correct sizes. He told us we would have our orders shipped in 3-4 weeks and after 4 weeks we called and they said it will be an extra 3 weeks. Very disappointed with the lady who works there too, they don't speak nicely on the phone. Not buying from Fantastic Furniture Ever Again If you want to sell furnitures, hire employees who cares about the customers not sales people who lies and have bad manners. Location of my purchase was from Maribyrnong Victoria Melbourne.

Poor service, very disappointed, would never go back to buy anything at FF. First I was told to wait for 5-7 weeks for the bed I order, followed up at week 5 and was told to wait another month, followed up again after 2 months and was told to wait for another 3 months. It's such a waste of time! I've bought another 2 bedside drawers at the same time which they delivered earlier. So I asked the staff if they have anything recommended to match the drawers, she just said we have nothing. Useless, the worse service, waste of time dealing with FF.

Purchased a mattress early last month. I did ask the SA how long it could be delivered, he told me a couple of weeks. Followed up 2 weeks after, told me it will be 7/12 cuz there was a delay. No other solutions but he said could offer me a refund?! Called store today as 6/12 told me it will be next week. How come from ‘a couple of week’ to a month now? Giving me the excuse that the mattress needs to be made. Shouldn’t your SA knows how long it would take normally? I feel like I been cheated as they just want to sell their stuff first.

shocking service, a manager who doesn't care about her customers, arrogant and unapproachable, takes stuff off your hand without saying a word, stands around chatting to her staff while there are customers waiting to be served at the counter. don't expect much help from the staff once you have paid. need to carry the furniture out to your car? you are on your own! they might lend you a trolley if you are lucky. don't spend your money at this place, go somewhere else or another Fantastic Furniture store if you have to!

Shocking service. My mum ordered a couch almost four weeks ago and it has still not been delivered. Two attempts at delivery where they have got the wrong address and the wrong phone number. My poor mum is mobility impaired and reliant on the couch delivery so this has caused her considerable stress. Assistance isn’t available on their phone line. Unless you can pick up the couch on the day in store I’d suggest giving it a wide berth or trying a reliant online delivery service like Temple and Webster or Brosa.

Fantastic furniture was delivering some furniture to my next door neighbour, delivery truck parked in front of my drive way, I waited for 10 minutes and they totally ignored me, then I got off the car and asked them to move, the answer was, you have to wait till we are done, I told them I can't wait. They said it's not their problem, very rude and unprofessional. They moved the truck after 25 minutes, no apologies at all. I thought there would have been a training for these people but it doesn't look like it.

Worst service! Store has no accountability. It’s been 6 weeks and my order isn’t ready. I followed up twice, was promised call back from the store manger and he didn’t get back to me. He calls me after I complain only to ask me to call him back a few days later to follow up. He clearly didn’t like it when I said he should follow up and call me back, because he agreed and just hung up. That’s how they dealt with my inquiry, with no responsibility, rude on the phone and no satisfactory outcome.

Don’t have time to write the whole experience but Very bad experience after spending around 4K on same day. Poor customer service and lack of knowledge, don’t say anything if you don’t know and later on making excuses or blame the system. Only one person in store “Sue”can handle the things in right way and listen to customers. Very disappointed and have to change my store for shopping. Suggestion:— please send your staff for training in your other stores, who care about the customers.

I bought a Fremont TV unit from these guys and was the worst decision of my life. Basically they delivered it smash to bits in the box and gave me the run around for over two months for them to give me a refund and take it back (which they still haven't done). Avoid Fantastic Furniture, poor quality products and even poorer service. Pay a little more and go to someone who will deliver a much better product and wont turn their back on you when they screw up!

Absolutely disgusting experience. Bought a mattress during lock down because we desperately needed one woke up sore and couldn't move. Explained this to staff no regard or care in the world. Was told to give the mattress 7 - 10 days to settle then to walk in the store and try the mattress they have in the showroom! Whats the point? Damage has been done and if no one does anything about it i will be taking this further!!!!!! Disgusting!!!

Very bad service!!! the staffs are unhelpful. We waited for 15 mins . The staffs were standing at the counter to talking to each other. Until I approached them asking for help. When i ask if they can do the better price, the lady was rudely answer with "A NO "and just walked off. Leaving us just wondering what just happened. Will never go to Fantastic Furniture on Rosamond Rd never again. And 1 star is still too good for them.

The product is fantastic.but was served by a very rude gentleman this morning.bought few items and was mentioned that it will be delivered after two weeks.when requested is there any chance could be less that that he replied “look I don’t drive the delivery truck neither I deliver the furniture so don’t ask me!!!!” Which was totally irrelevant and was unnecessary!The staff should get some customer service training!!!!

This store just lost a $4000+ sale because they were unwilling to waive a second delivery fee ($59) due to not having something in stock. (We we’re happy to pay the first delivery fee, but felt the second was unfair). There was actually no point shopping in person, we got what we need online with only one delivery fee. In store we were told it would be atleast a 3 month wait. Only we got the unit in five weeks.

It’s a well laid compact shop with easy to see and easily walkable - unlike Harvey Norman. The furniture is decent quality considering how affordable they are. The service was fine but it was disappointing that I needed to go to the warehouse behind to collect my furniture which I’d just ordered in store and needed to wait for them to collect it. Why couldn’t they have it waiting for me? Something to beware of.

Poor customer service with rude staff. One blonde older lady was horrible to deal with and you can tell she couldn't be bothered to be there. Another gentlemen made up for that with his help, but the first experience left a bad taste. I wouldn't have continued to shop there had I not needed the item. The item was good quality and was easy to assemble and instructions were clear. Cannot recommend the business!

Did a click and collect for 2 basic dinning chairs waiting for 20 mins to be seen by inhouse staff and then told to go wait at garage for pick up. Waiting another 25 mins here. Multiple staff walked past me but not one of them acknowledged me until i asked how much longer. Really bad customer experience if its this hard to get click and collect can only imagine how terrible would be with shopping in store

The product quality is ok. But the customer service is absolutely terrible. I was just trying to return a product that I bought less than a month ago as it is too big for my room. But I tried live chat, phone number, email. NO RESPONSE. I received no response. Would never come back again. It is a very small request and I would be abale to make it fast, the product is unused, but they decided to ignore me.

Absolutely woeful experience. Failed to deliver our mattress, and spoke to a Nithi (if that is her real name) on the phone. Have never dealt with someone as rude and unprofessional in my life. At one point she yelled out "oh my God!" on the phone at me. Said she would follow up request. Did nothing. This individual should not be dealing with the public and needs her head pulled in. Appalling.

This one star is for staff lying just to make sales. I was told 4-6 weeks delivery, currently its 13th week, still when I call for update they behave like I’m asking something for free. After so long wait they happily say we can cancel and provide refund. I can just hope product is not like FF staff. I’m never gonna buy anything ever again from FF, and never recommend.

Extremely low prices and a wide variety of styles to choose from. Unfortunately the quality is not great, and items are often hit-and-miss. I would highly suggest trying out the items in person before buying online, as the quality can vary. Great for low-use, temporary or display items but not the best for long-term furniture, unless you find a diamond in the rough.

Poor & Foolish service - waited 15 mins to be acknowledged by the staff at the main counter . To get my attention after the 15min wait the staff member tapped on the counter till I acknowledged him . Further to this the staff decided it was easier to refund our deposit on a future purchases than to give us a discount due to previously purchased faulty merchandise.

Was told the chairs we were buying were in a flat pack, they are not, just as an FYI. Its a bulky box per 2 chairs, the 2 boxes barely fit in our car, so we had to force them in. Not a great feeling when you just bought brand new furniture. Other than that, service was more than average, staff not friendly and not helpful. Wont come back unless I am desperate.

Terribly run store! Received a text after 8 weeks saying my order was finally ready for collection. Drove 45 minutes with my toddler to arrive and be told a system error occurred and the text was incorrect. They could have at least given me a courtesy text or call letting me know of this system error before wasting almost 2 hours of my time for nothing!

Staff really friendly. Had a defective item (table and chairs) and staff were fantastic allowing a smooth transaction to go through swapping etc. Only thing that stopped me from giving extra star, there's never products there to get on the day, have to wait for 2-3 weeks to be able to eat of a dining table!! Have had to wait longer for other items too.

Purchased a lounge happy with the furniture but the delivery service was an absolute joke the two idiots that turned up refused to carry the couch inside apparently too heavy for to young guys with a trolley and a dolly so it was left in my front yard so myself and 17 year old daughter carried the couches that were too heavy inside. Lazy idiots

One of the worst store ever. You need to keep calling to get your order delivered or else they will be sleeping till you ring them. They need to undergo training for responsibilities and should learn customer satisfactory skills, Do not trust their words, you have to follow up on your order to get it delivered for weeks, months and ages!

I met Anja (she is pronounced as Anya) at the maribyrnong store. The matress which I was looking for was not available instore, She personally went to the warehouse to fetch the matress of our choice. She explained the best choices for us, she was very friendly and helpful. The other good people that I met were cathie and sue.

The showroom is not open, but online orders can be picked up from the warehouse at the back of the store. Once the order is ready to be picked up, call the store to book a time. (Their email does say, they will call, but its faster to just call yourself) and pick up on the same day. Good service, with no contact approach.

Been 3 week since ordered things in person, called them a few times and they didn't pick up but after 2 and a half weeks, I was told the stuff would be delivered by the weekend, I'd just have to wait for a call and send a message yet I have not gotten a call or message.

A wide range of furniture at the mid price range. Chairs start at $15 and run to over $100. I purchased a stylish queen-sized bed and a firm mattress for $550. The catch is over-priced delivery charges. I would definitely buy more if the delivery charges were lower.

After walking around the store looking at all the available stock I wasnt able to find what I was after. At no point was I asked if I wanted any help. Using the QR codes on their products was a waste of time as the website would crash everytime i went into it.

Probably the most frustrating website experience I've had. Seems a bit outdated/not functioning correctly. Also they don't let you use your gift card online which I'm personally not a fan of. Wasn't able to make my purchase at the end of it all.

Nice variety of furniture. The staff were very helpful but the store manager lacks any desire to deal with customers. Poor management, I feel for the nice polite staff. Head Office should look at the managers attitude, seriously!!!!

A place to shop all the time I have spent hundreds over the years in the shop . Staff friendly and service great but if it's a little busy you may need to wait to ask a few questions about items you might want layout great

Interesting brand. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The quality is not known to be great but more than a few items are on par --at least of comparable quality, with more expensive stuff. Worth checking out.

I strongly suggest these guys change their business name. They are anything but "fantastic". They've been a pain to deal with. Expect at least three weeks delay when you order, and good luck to get the right items.

Do not buy Elle chairs, I am on my 3rd chair after exchanging 3 times!!! The legs are bent and scratched every time!!! It's beyond a joke. The most frustrating retail experience Iv ever had!!!
