Oh my. Food was straight gas. Fish lightly breaded, seasoned well, slightly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The chips were slightly crispy, seasoned well, succulent, and cooked proper. Tartar sauce was very nice and flavorful. Portion is pretry generous. I highly recommend this place. I will definitely come back. More

The fish was rubbery and hard. Tough to cut the fish up with the wooden fork they provide. Tartar sauce was really good and the fries were dry. I had the 2 piece Halibut and fries, with four cans of pop. Came up to about $32. Will not go back.

I've heard a lot about this fish and chips place so I wanted to give it a try! I got the "regular" 2 cod piece. It was made quickly and I was greatly impressed by their array of sauces and spices. I gave this place 4 stars for some specific

Long-time favorite that is consistently good. Haven't tried the halibut but both cod and pickerel are excellent. I also appreciate that they have malt vinegar. I applaud them for keeping their prices down and having a range of options that

I was there in January visiting from out of town. Been there a few times in the past but this time I got the worst runs after eating there. The lady at the cash was very cold. Nothing to do with Fergies but the local security team was all

Expect long line ups. The way they package the good order is unique and I suppose more the british way. Starting off with the chowder - if you like something fishy tasting...it definitely hits that mark but beyond that it tasted more like

I've gone to Fergie's the last four times I've gone to Winnipeg for a concert. Some of the best fish n chips money can buy. I always get the "regular" (two piece) pickerel, which is Canada's name for walleye, and I'm stuffed by the end.

I chose the cod. Fish was perfectly cooked! Lightly battered and seasoned incredibly well. The fries, while a little a little soggy when I started eating them, were still close to perfection. One of the best fish n’ chips I’ve had! More

The fries from this place were amazing, 5 stars, but the fish was very bad. I ordered the pickerel and chips and was disappointed with the taste, smell, and texture of it. It feels as though it was deep fried from frozen and allowed to

When I saw the long line up I knew I had to try it. The cod was really good, the batter is not thick unlike other places they put so much batter to make it look bigger. It was cook to perfection, so crispy and very tasty. My hubby had

The food was good and I saw the awards for the chowder on the wall so I had a bowl and enjoyed it too. The fries were good and seasoned well with more than just salt. I couldn’t get through all the fries because they load it up. More

I find the fish and chips here very good, really tasty, not too salty, just right ration of batter. Serving size is reasonable. I always have an enjoyable meal whenever I eat here. Highly recommended when you’re at the Forks. More

The deep fried battered fish is okay. The fries for me needs to get replaced maybe use wedges.. they have seasonings so better use them because the fish and fries are pretty tasteless so it's up to you how you make it tasty. More

The Hearty Pickerel is so good . And serving is huge . I have no idea the serving size so I added 2 more which shouldn’t be . But anyhow , the fish is really good but the not the chips or fries. I didn’t eat it. More

We've ordered (for delivery) from here 3X now. Every time the food has arrived hot. Taste is awesome. Well done. I would absolutely recommend and will order again. More

This fish n chips is good but not great. Had the single meal with chowder and fries. The chowder is a fish and shrimp stew. The taste is good but it’s not a “chowder”

Whenever I crave fish and chips, I go to Fergie’s. The best in Winnipeg in my opinion! I love the seafood chowder too!! A family favorite for years! More

Best fish and chips in canada (so far that I've tried). When eaten fresh, the fish is crispy and well seasoned, the batter does not

  • Miłosz Dąbrowski

Probably the best place in The Forks for food. Three types of fish to choose from: Cod, Pickerel and Halibut. Everything is

The "Regular" cod meal was amazing. I don't really like fish, but that one was delicious !
