Paul Metcalfe of #534 Sunset Strip has practiced to perfection the habit of leaving his bonfires unattended, often leaving them burning the entire night and into the morning. Previously Mr. Metcalfe has been cautioned by the Hamilton Fire Services for exhibiting exactly this type of behavior. Today about 12:00 PM June 19th 2020 I took pictures of the latest such incident. Mr. Metcalfe also ran his stereo at obnoxious levels from approximately 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM. Park management did speak to him at least twice regarding the noise but he declined to co-operate for long. The pictures (one taken with the flash on and one with the flash off) were taken about 12:00 PM. Approximately one full hour after guests departed the outdoor soiree and the host, Paul Metcalfe, had retired. Both pictures show an unattended fire. It’s only too bad I couldn’t have taken pictures of the accompanying non-stop noise. Though a canvas of the neighborhood would certainly confirm the contents of review.

Resort is in the woods, 20 minutes away from Waterdown or Guelph which makes the location quite and dark at night. Spring feed small lake with a river running through the park. Lovely in so many ways. Very Nice Outdoor Pool with Water falls and Hot-tub. Great lounge, bar and food area outside as well. Vacant, run down trailers are dangerous and big eye sore. The indoor Poor is nice though needs some major work as does the front Sunroom area. The indoor Hot-tub is not working, has not worked for years, sad to see the park lose the appeal it once had. Hoping to see improvements for campers and residence. The potential is there for the Resort to be what it once was. Thriving and Beautiful ,

It's outdated and filthy ... a resort it is NOT? The rooms resemble those in a movie crime scene. Windows (glass) are cracked, badly stained carpeting, dirty fingerprints all over the walls and doors, burnt out light bulbs, lamp shades disgusting, window treatments missing panes ... the list goes on and on. The hot tub is very small, dark and dingy. A very sad, poor and aged trailer park ... not even worth 1 star. A nice parcel of land but not maintained. This place really needs a major overhaul. The positive reviews are not accurate at all.

This place can be alot of fun! Management just needs to keep the hot tub and pools running consistently There is an outdoor and indoor pool. I prefer the outdoor pool as there is a tiki bar as well as a patio over the front of the large pond. They have an outdoor grill you can order from in the summer months, along with pool tables upstairs. There are camping spots available along the pond. fishing is decent, Pike, bass and snapping turtles.

The pool's are never clean neither is the hot tub. Service is horrible, no chief, or food. If you can survive on alcohol solely, that's the only thing being served here. The rooms haven't been renovated, so water damage is present and the room design is that of the 80's. There is a gym, it's old and broken down though, there is one pool table, some old fary tale books, and a monopoly game(half). Please don't go to this resort.

The actual place is a dump. I have a friend who has lived there for many years and the ladt 10 years have been a disgrace to say the least. The neighbours on each side have been abandonned and racoons and other oests have moved into them. The roads inside park are a disgrace. When new owners took over many promises made but none kept. That's unfortunate as was a beautiful place when it was under Four Seasons Resort.

Don't let the people writing negative reviews bug you. I've lived here for over 2 years and it's a nice place to live. So quiet. The amenities are good and yes sometimes things get broken and they take time to fix. Overall I love living here, the people are welcoming and polite and the amenities are in good working order. I WOULD suggest this as a place to stay.

Not totally impressed, outdoor pool desperately needs to be repaired to produce revenue and attract patrons. On a more positive note the propeety is beautiful, and relaxing to be around, but minor repairs and clean up of old property would make the grounds more applealing ( rating based on need for repair and clean up )

I'm new here so far i love it! Super friendly staff & people in the park very greeting i haven't seen the whole place yet as i came late in fall for this summer coming & really like it. Love my sight and so much potential coming our way. Like anything things take time i'm looking forward to many fun times here :)

Indoor and outdoor pools. The indoor pool converts to a dance floor. Indoor and outdoor hot tubs. Clam bar poolside. A decent restaurant. Volleyball and tennis courts. I couldn't recommend it more. The people are wonderful. Bands and a community fire at night. I would live there if I could.

Old trailers too close to each other,rough roads,a lot of junk laying around trailers not cleaned up and rusty equipment abandoned in parking area.Just not a great looking place.

Have come her for over 4 years, very family focused, amazing outdoor pool, clean, jumping board with a nice waterfall, I door pool amenities. Outdoor tiki bar, outdoor hot tub, island for exploring, seldom fishing spots! Lots of entertainment on weekends

Total dump .Its run down and most of the amenities are broken or dirty .I don't recommend this place .If you're smart you will not stay here there are bed bug in all the rooms and mice in the kitchen. We had a horrible time here

We stayed here for camping for two nights, the good things is that the outdoor pool is awesome, and hot tub, has nice waterfall. Indoor pool is great too, nice and big+deep.

This is a mobile home Retirement Community. It has excellent facilities with dining hall swimming pool and Lounge areas, and has a very friendly outgoing group of people

I did not stay there, I was there for work. I was dropping off a storage container for a customer, the place looked really nice. I really liked the environment.

Very dated. Parking lot has lakes in it after a rain. Lots of abandoned homes and résidences with junk outside that detract from the countryside resort.

Tranquil and beautiful, I was simply wandering through the woods. Thoroughly enjoyed it, found it by accident hiking along the countryside.

5 stars cause I only want to know HAS ANYONE SEEN THE TRAILER PARK BOYS THERE??? ID LOVE TO mEET RICKI

Nice place, didn't stay there was picking up a friend. There are a couple of run down trailers. Make it look a little spooky.

Love it, the rooms they have to rent are amazing, they may be outdated, but over all nice big and had a amazing time.

This place has so much potential... people are friendly and the clubhouse rocks. Pools in and outside are great.

Great spot for a summer stop off. The staff are so kind and friendly they make it a great spot to hang out.
