I don't even know what purpose the review serves. Just wanted a channel to vent I suppose. I was mailed a "handwritten" fine back in January. Needing to arrange a payment plan, I contacted.... or should I say ~tried~ to contact them numerous times. They are always "currently experiencing high call volumes resulting in longer than ~usual~ delays" so by the time you reach them, you probably have to leave. I digress. I reached them and was told they cannot locate the fine on their system since it was handwritten. They told me to call the next week. I did. The same thing happened. When I called them again, there was only a week left until the due date and I was told to lodge the payment plan request manually online. The confirmation email stated I would be contacted within 20 days. Happy times. So it was after two months of not hearing from them that I, with a foolish overly-optimistic assumption that the fine was waived, called them to follow up on my request. It was then that I was told the fine was "withdrawn....." *my joy was immeasurable* ".... to be re-issued again. Since the officer issuing it had made an administrative mistake"!!! So nearly 6 months down the track I still have not heard from this guys. It's been 20 minutes since I have tried to call them and am STILL waiting to reach them. I expect to be waiting another 20 minutes or so. The staff are, more often than not, impatient and rude. I guess their assumption is that we have been issued a fine, so we are murderers and rapists and deserve whatever happens to us. I wish I could say "I will take my business elsewhere" or something along that line.......

I received a speeding fine during a work trip in Melbourne. Upon investigation, my colleague was the one driving so I nominated the correct person. After an indeterminate amount of time, I was sent a request for more information (he's got a Victorian licence and I provided name, date of birth and address - what else do you want). Because I don't frequently check my mail (who even corresponds by mail anymore seriously), the 21 day time frame had expired and the fine moved to final demand so now I am being forced to pay $391 for an offence I did not commit. I've tried to speak to someone from Fines Victoria but there are no numbers, only online forms with very restricted options. Even the request for review was very poorly designed and I couldn't even present my case so rather had to fit into their pre-determined categories, which was far from comprehensive and definitely did not cover my circumstances. Really quite a joke this whole experience.... not to mention the time spent in my part trying to nominate, requesting reviews, going online to find out particulars etc. Sad thing is each person in Fines Victoria is being paid to deal with me however I have to forfeit time I'd otherwise be working to deal with them.....and for something I didn't do. So ridiculous.

How they can still demand payment when my friend can prove by her passport she wasn't in the country when the fine occurred is beyond me. Nor can she tell who was actually driving the car. Because SHE WASN'T IN THE COUNTRY. Nor did she know these fines and other fines occurred because she didn't get the notices. No matter. Lets let these sit for years with government bureaucracy and then let them increase over time then demand full payment. And let's also tell people a 5-7 day turnaround for their payment plan to be reviewed (because payments will have to come out in increments for the next 15 years to pay all the thousands that have accrued) but the maximum they'll wait for a decision is 14 days and then 4 weeks later still crickets chirping and still being reviewed. I mean it's not that hard. Pretty much no income or savings to be assessed here. Oh. And another $273 fine for failing to product a myki ticket which has ballooned out to $437.40 because.... well because they can. I'm not saying there shouldn't be fines, but I am saying they should reflect the offence. The customer service people I've spoken to have been polite and helpful but these money grabs and the way so called 'reviews' are assessed are disgraceful.

One month ago I received a letter from Fines Victoria saying I have a unpaid fine of $500 back in 2019. I visited the website and tried to request a review, cool, something went wrong and nothing came out. Then I called, someone told me ok that is $1800 in total and give me another obligation number, I went to the website, typed it in, wow, another ticket back in 2017 with $300 or something, I requested the review and called up again, no surprise, third obligation number, still not working. And the second one which I requested a review disappeared from the website after one day. Today, I received another letter saying ok, it is $1600 with 5 obligation numbers, I tried them all, none of them works on the website. Is there anyone can really solve this problem? And all the ticket are 2017, 2016 or 2019 and I am pretty sure I paid all of them. I used to have an international credit card, now I have to call oversea to see if they can sent me the bank transactions back to 2016. Really really upset! So I suppose I need to keep evidence of every payment life time long just in case I will not receive another letter when I was 70 years old.

I'm apaulled by the telephone service menu as I cannot select an option to successfully talk to an actual person. Not to mention, the fines I have received never arrived in the mail, but somehow I received a letter about a vehicle registration suspension. The fines have doubled and I am no longer able to: 1. nominate drivers due to the late fees (In this case never having a chance as I never received the letters) 2. Unable to login with the obligation numbers as they have been blocked, which in turn will not allow someone to redeem themselves for a reduced or pay the original amount. 3. No option go to court to appeal the matter. You have deliberately made it impossible for one to redeem themselves and have taken the voice away from us. I am more than happy to pay for the fines at the normal rate, but when they are inflated by 10 times the amount due to it been connected to a business is unfair, and remorseless. All I want is my chance to rectify this but I cannot contact you on email or the phone.

A phone call today to say due to system malfunction in 2016 I owe them $1500. I paid via payment plan. Then they had problems their side so I would go to post office to pay regularly. I was always on the phone with them. Last phone call to them in 2016 they told me my account was finalised & I owe nothing. Until today.. I have not had a fine since then, and I have 0 demerit points which they acknowledged saying I have no new fines. But have to pay for 2016. I was furious. How can this lot say it was finalised then call 7 years later saying I have a massive amount owing? Nothing but money hungry grabbers. To have this amount owing 7 yrs later, I say their so call malfunction lost all payments. So beware. I've put a complaint in online. I wasn't given a reference number for today's call. But certainly contacting ombudsman too. Is this maybe due to Dan and his over spending? Trying to get money out of anyone they can? Whatever.. fines Victoria you have caused nothing but stress for me today.

  • Luke John

Actually, it's not paying a reasonable road violation fines that gets me worked up, it's that the fines issued are just blatant money-grabbing. $450 for being a split second late at a badly designed red-light signal doing a slow left hand turn (the same sort of turn that is legal in the USA) gets the same fine as a maniac cruising across heavy traffic. Or the the speed camera on the ridiculous 40km/hr speed limit all the way up King Street (apparently the most profitable camera in Victoria). Really, what does these examples have to do with road safety? Melbourne that has plenty of crazy driving (IMO at least partly due the poorly designed road layouts and laughable signage). Just too much like hard work to think about how to catch all the agro tail-gating nutters I guess. I'm posting my points, because you never know, perhaps one day there will be an actual proper study on road safety, and the comments here will get read.

Absolutely not acceptable!! How are these people taking tax payers hard earned money and not feel guilty not doing their job!?? Gone back and forth many times, their aim is that you can not be bothered and just pay the fine regardless you are the one responsible or not! Is this what we expect from our government agencies??? SO USELESS! How are we in 2023 and still relying on mail? We all know how reliable aus post is! Filed enforcement reviews a month ago and received the confirmation letters more than 2-3 weeks ago, call them up today to check they said they only received it few days ago!!!?!? I literally have letters with dates on them proving you got them more than a few days ago. This is only one small part to reflect how they have NO IDEA what they are doing!!! Also be prepared to be on hold for minimum 30mins up to hours, then possibly getting a useless person that does not help at all.

  • TEX GIO

...AUSTRALIAN GOVERNMENT...NO THANKS...``VIC fiennes.``..a police run agency that collects fines money even if the fines are in your name and you are not responsible Absolutely not acceptable !! How do these people get their taxpayers' hard earned money and not feel guilty about it? I AM CHARGED WITH 30 THOUSAND DOLLAR FINES FROM A LADY WHO BOUGHT MY CAR THREE YEARS AGO I HAVE BEEN BACK AND BACK MANY TIMES, AND THEIR GOAL IS THAT YOU CAN'T BE BOTHERED AND JUST PAY THE FINE REGARDLESS OF WHETHER YOU'RE THE responsible or not! Is this what we expect from our government agencies??? SO USELESS! How are we in 2023 and still relying on mail?well done the prime minister with all his gang 9.8 million dollars he gets from vicrood..... and part of the profit belongs to private companies..... continue to vote for his causes you will find yourself in a state of police who enslave you,,,as they do today.

  • Sonny de Alwis

Dont bother calling, however legitimate your case is, they will not reverse any fine... even you never received a notification from them they will still say they sent the notification to you regardless and take your money. The lady on the phone was nice she understood my situation but was helpless to do anything she tried many times to talk to others, 50 mins on the phone call. I sincerely think the call centre cannot reverse or modify your fines even if they know the caller is correct and the fine is totally unfair. I really hope these reviews will grow and one day a royal commission will run against this broken system and pay all the hard working Victorian's back their unfairly taken money, this probably never would happen, but its a nice thought. Hope this message will save someone else's time. Just pay the fine and write a review... drink a cold beer and forget about it. Cheers.

Received an outcome letter for a fine review today, from the 01/12/2018 - 4 years ago?! Way before Covid, so they can't use that excuse. The review was requested as I had moved house, and had not received the fine in the first place. Back in 2019, when I had attempted to follow up whether I owed money, I was told repeatedly ‘we don’t see this fine on our end’ over and over until I presumed it had been absolved. Suddenly today, there is a fine for now $350...Surely there are laws relating to how far back you can go to recuperate money from someone. To add insult to injury, went to check the fine and saw they had added on an extra $80 with no reason given...bringing the total to over $400. If there are any lawyers wanting to class action all these comments - please contact me. The same Fines Reform Act they quote also states that reviews must be conducted in a reasonable time frame.

Fines Victoria is the worst organisation, governmental or non-governmental that I've ever had the displeasure to have to deal with. Every aspect of Fines Victoria's operations are weighed heavily against the unlucky civilian that find themselves rightly or wrongly under their administration. I'd suggest that plenty of innocent individuals have decided to just pay their "fine" rather than have to spend another hour or 10 trying to get a coherent or civil answer from this bloated juggernaut. I don't blame the customer service staff at Fines Victoria, although I do question how they can bring themselves to work in the environment of incompetence they find themselves in. The rot always starts from the head as they say, so responsibility must fall directly with Fines Victoria's Executive Director Craig Howard.

  • Jason Goodsall

Have and ongoing payment arrangements with fines vic payments are overdue due to my ongoing medical condition trying to sort it out and try to call twice so left my details to call back no return call then finally get a call from them on Saturday(weird) for some reason and as soon as I answered they hung up rang back and said they were not there. trying multiple times to get a hold of them but can't also sent me a letter saying that I am overdue to pay the payment by 25 got the letter on Friday 22 that's not the problem it was date the 11th. Took 11 days to get to me. Update 11/08 got penalty reminder due on the 12 got it Tuesday went to website to sort it out found out about the other penalty notice have just spoke to someone about it apparently it is being under review for 9 months.

I don't even want to give Fines Victoria a single star. Went overseas for a holiday and came back. Few weeks later received a fines for speeding. Submitted all documents confirming that I was overseas at the time and that no way that I could have been the driver nor do I even know the person. Keep getting knock back saying that they are not satisfy with documents provided. I even went to the police station to get the stat dec to confirm i was overseas at the time and the police officer even laugh at how ridiculous it is. When online to lodge a formal compaint and guess what..their bloody complaint site doesnt work. After hitting submit comes up with the message "The specified URL cannot be found". Useless place. Will be lodging a formal complain with the ombudsman.

  • Harry

I received a fine a few days ago, saying I was speeding. At first I thought it was a scam, because I've never had a driver's license, never touched a car in my life, and I was overseas. Out of curiosity, I searched the obligation number and it was actually under my name, I was furious, I don't know what to say other than 'HOW???' Seriously HOW?? Is this some sort of punishment for not being able to drive? I kept calling them for the past few days, but no one answered. I even went to VicRoads to make sure that I never had a license. At this point, I think they are just giving random people fines to make more money. I will go to court, this is robbery, government owned robbery. I will post the obligation number here if I got no answers.

  • Rod Gill

Unfortunately, the reviews don't have a zero. I am surprised the total Google Reviews have an average of 1.4 and not 1. There is allegedly a threshhold amount where the installment amount for fines increases from $20/month to $25/month. Whether this is in legislation or policy who knows. The person I spoke to could not tell me the threshold amount....merely that I had to pay $25/month instead of $20/month. He was clearly making this up to get more cash a month to meet targets for our wonderful Revenue Nanny State. The politicians waste so much of our money in bad decisions with their incompetence that they have to recoup money from the Punters in exorbitant revenue raising tactics.

  • Vishvesh Mankad

How unjust! .The common residence of Victoria can't get away but big wig we all know could get away from speeding fine not once but on numerous occasions on the basis he was from other country ,so not familiar with speed limit I think The driver association should force Vic road to adopt uniform speed limits .Some times speed limits are varied in the distance of meters .They purposefully design variation in speed so forever get confuse made mistake and boom poor driver will fill the kaufer of government officials to substantiate their pay rise more than normal or to pay for foreign trips. The Victorian driver association should stand up for this unfair practice.

  • Bridget Gianino

The worst experience I’ve ever had, they are trying to add $159.20 onto a missed final installation of $30, I only missed the last instalment because they were sending the letters to my old address, even though I had updated my new address on my license. Now I have until Christmas eve to pay it or seek legal advice and go to court as apparently “VicFines can no longer do anything about it”. Now I have to waste my time and money seeking legal advice so that I don’t have to be scammed out of my hard earned money. They are happy to take your money but they won’t help you to dispute it even when they are in the wrong. This has just put the cherry on top of my hard year.

  • yuejian xue

despite the long waiting , the service from most of the staff in this office is actually good, however we have to know this is a department of robbery with uniforms, Ever since they removed the rego stickers people has always forgotten to pay the rego on time or paying late after been caught, well done , a good way of raising your revenue. we paid hundreds of dollars we don’t even get a stock or a prove of a rego payment, all you get is a set up trap that “ if you don’t pay on time” you get fined , sorry , not negotiable, especially hard for those who had multiple vehicles . my question is : do they have to take the money this way?

  • DJ GAMING

Absolutely disgusting, had to wait over and hour just to get some rude woman yell at me. The reason I called because I just got this fine In the mail and I had to be paid even though I paid it months ago but apparently the last payment they took out of my account for $50 which they put it back in my account because I only owed a remaining $27 which made no sense. they didn’t message me or Email nothing but now I own them a total of $188.60 from which should only be $27. They said theirs nothing they could do even though I received this letter in the mail yesterday, Such a corrupt company, Have had so many other problems aswell.

  • Infa Red

Absolutely terrible company, try to pay a fine in installments as we are short of money and they make it So difficult! It's like they don't want their fines to be paid! Can't even set up a direct debit Online (the whole point of direct debit is doing things online!) They try and make you give them Every single piece of personal information. Excuse you, you don't have to know how many dependants I have, how much I have in my bank account and if i have any Assets?! You should accept that I am Trying to pay my fine and that you'll get your money in the end! Utterly ridiculous company! Get your act together.

  • Lisa V

If I could do 0 stars I would. I just found out about a fine I apparently need to pay from 4 years back. It has accumulated over time and I'm stuck with these 'higher than normal waiting times' every day I call to pay it. I never received a notice so I can't pay it online so I do the right thing and call up but can never get through even at 8am when they open. This is the biggest scam invented, it's no wonder the rich keep getting richer and the hard workers keep spending their hard earned dollars on useless stuff like thus over being able to feed themselves or pay for petrol.

  • igitha Δл λ μ

I especially like how I was sent out a fine for not voting, when I had unenrolled from voting about a decade ago for good reason, and you send the fine via text on a Friday night after business hours, after anything can be done about it, when I've been sitting by the phone all day, and you sent it right before Christmas, and now I have to remember to call you on Monday morning just to have it dismissed. Thank you sooooooo much for wasting my time in advance, because it hasn't already been wasted enough already due to other bureaucratic nonsense. Merry Christmas to you too.

  • Parag Chakra

I concur with most people. Today I got sent a text message to pay the fine due on 16th of May. Fines Victoria must be desperate. I have been booked at the same spot in Aug 2022 and April 2023 by an automatic camera. I am a tradesman turning 60 this year. I drive a 6 year old manual van and was alleged to be doing 56 kms in a 40 km zone. Considering I get tail gated, cut across on a daily basis I wonder how I could be doing 16 kms over the speed limit. I have clocked 168kms in the van. I have a feeling people like me are cash cows feeding the great Victorian debt mountain.

  • Mr G1

fined for having a license plate not slightly upright on a motorcycle, which demerit and penalty rates increased in the last year from $165 to $370 and from 1 to 3 demerit points. Also apparently not visible from 20m away, which my old grandad who is 93 years old can see it from 30 meters away. These incompetent cops need to realize having a plate completely upright will come into contact with the tire with the rear suspension in motion. This state we live in is pathetic and an embarrassment at the revenue raising from this corrupt government.

  • Udesh Silva

Have dealt with these people to pay fines and they are the most worthless, uneducated people with no aspect of sympathy or understanding. Once they have issued a fine or additional charges it's 99% certain that they will not consider any circumstances (including when they are in the wrong) to go back on it. It's sad to think that the government chooses to waste our tax money to feed such people that are so incompetent when there are so many people unemployed currently. Fines Victoria and most of its employees are an absolute embarrassment.

  • Shehzad Kalas

These guys are shamful not good manner and not good customer dealing. I received speed fine 5 month back, when i chked my speedo meter which is default not working and i replaced it and submit my review application with invoice that my meter not working fine, they reject my application and say you have to pay fine. When i called them to ask what else you need proof they told me thats it the case office want you to pay the fine, these people are totally rip off people shame on you.

  • J1 Floors

I nominated myself on their second letter to me via the website. However something went wrong and it didn't complete. I was shocked to recieved the 3rd notice with no option to nominate myself. I wrote a letter explaining the situation and the officer didn't accept my reasoning. I researched further only to find that there is no way to revoke this once it has gone to this stage. The system is designed to make companies fork out 3.7k if they miss the deadline... evil if you ask me.

  • Saghar A

I do anything to stay away from fines victoria. They have no use and cannot help in any ways! They fines you but don’t give you any warning or updates on it even when your fine is on hold!! The worst experience I ever had was dealing with a fine that wasn’t mine and couldn’t even nominate the right person for it… 2 years the fine was on hold then they decided to stop the hold without even informing me!!! I cannot describe how frustrating this was for me….

  • Jessica Miller

Is zero stars an option? Fines from 6 years ago?? Did not know about the fines at all, everything being sent to an address I have not lived at for years and a phone number I haven't had for over 15 years. I have always updated my details, including my address on my car and license so they couldn't tell me why they have such old info!! Rego on some fines not even mine but told I have to pay and then fight to get my money back, what a system!!

  • Dylan Hartwig

You guys love revenue hey?. I've been fined for a failure to vote and never knew about it untill 4 years later after it has increased another $300, would of been great if was notified about the fine or about it being handed off to you lot but I assume their too busy eating donuts or whatever. Applied for review and was told I'll hear something 4 days ago and still not a thing, absolutely top effort guys keep up the pathetic work

  • Margaret Olivieri

Spoke to Mary today who was extremely rude arrogant I was not contacted for over 5 years in regards to a fine which I was not aware of asked her to send me a section 67 to fill in said it would take 4 to 6 weeks for her to send it out asked her why I have not been contacted prior to this warrant being issued she said they might have forgotten it did appear she seemed to think contact was made in 2018 only 4 1/2 years have passed

  • Linda

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. Fine was sent to the wrong address twice, then was hit with an additional $160 admin fee. After they admitted they didn't have the correct address on file they refused to waive the admin fee. The staff were unhelpful, rude and dismissed everything I had to say. They could not admit they were wrong just kept repeating we sent it to the right address, now I am stuck paying the additional $160. Disgraceful.

  • Seaton Smithy

Called at 8:35 AM and was on hold for 25 minutes without getting through. I have had a fine deregistered and would like my $420 back. Follow up - Wrote to them through their website which promises a response in 48 hours on 3 July. Got a reply on 27 November! And the reply did not address the refund of my $420. It's 5 months since I wrote to them and still no money! EDIT: Eventually got my money back by writing to my MP.

  • Jon Ho

Although everyone knows they are licensed gangster But using a random phone number to inform people about the fines in the last minute It just looks like a random spam message with simple written sentences by anyone else, and its easy to missed. They taking so much money from taxpayers, but don’t even bother to use a proper registered phone number. don’t even have a proper number???

  • Nxthhh

9-5 mon-fri does not suit any full-time workers. the only time throughout the day anyone can call is at lunch (12, 1 or 2pm). suprise, when you call at lunch so is everyone else and youre left spending your entire lunch break on hold only to try again the next day. stupid idea, I would rather speak to foreigners just so I have a chance of sorting things out before the fine blows up in my face.

  • Temodojin

Don’t bother calling these clowns. They do not care what you have to say. Many of them are glorified revenue collectors once dressed in blue but now sit in a chair instead of being on the road. Took 18 months for a resolution on my fine that I never received. A fine that was sent to an address that I haven’t lived at for 8 years despite all my details being kept updated with Vic Roads.

  • BALINTINOS

Got into a car crash, we're my brakes completely stopped working you can even see in the camera footage that I had slid 100metres into the rear end of someone, they sent me a fine and a demerit because I was apparently "FOLLOWING TO CLOSE" sent in a initial review which took them one month to send me back the results by the time I got it back the fine had an extra $150 added to it.

  • sophie donald

Not happy, I called up today to make a payment on a late Parking fine, I’ve called up heaps of times before today for different matters and only today was made aware I had an overdue fine form 2019, 3 and half years ago! I had to pay another $350 on the $360 i just paid. No dinner on the table tonight. You clearly didn’t need the $350 3 years ago so why now? This shouldn’t be legal

  • Jason Tran

I was snap doing 48Kmph on 40Kmph zone. Received a fine for $240, I had a really clean driving record never had a speeding fine in the last 15 years and still was told I have to pay the fines. This is to show how desperate the system really is. It's not just about road safe, but instead it's more like taking money from good hard working tax payer. Thank you very much Victoria

  • Ameera

I can’t believe our tax money has to go to companies like this - it took me 20 minutes to figure out how to speak to an operator. Then hold for another 20 - this whole infrastructure is broken and needs overturning. Enough already - if we, the people, pay these companies bills, we should be the voice to speak, not Goverments, CEOs and greedy corporations!

  • S R

Fines Vic and traffic Camera Office the police the courts, fines everything is a artifical fiction. Claim you living man statues and they have no jurisdiction. They system is designed against you figure out and learn who it works. It's based on contract law and trusts. The court is the trust you are the beneficiary learn how it works and free your self.

  • Charles Brain

If I could give no star I would. A gov body to exonerate responsibility for fining agents. “Did you know you had these fines? Well you wouldn’t . No letter sent but lots of interest. Except when you get in touch. They put you on hold for 30 mins with no apology. I’m quite disgusted with this money grabbing front. Oh.. a review will take 6 months also

  • Sam Manchisch

Worst company in the world. I found out that I have all these fines that I was never notified about. I sent an email through 6 months ago and it’s still pending. Not to mention their customer service. I don’t know how Natasha still has a job there. Your tone is disgusting. I was hung up on by her. She sounds as though she doesn’t want to be there.

  • Abhinaba Ray

They clearly reduced the amber light timing without notifying to increase the number of penalties during easter. It changed from green to amber to red in 2 sec. I have never seen any light change so fast. My car is big but has low pick up, so obviously I cannot cross line within that time. How awful. Please change the govt in the next election!

  • Evan

Unhelpful ignorent staff who speak over you, they send reminders that you get days after it is due and they will not agree to their incompedence when you lodge a review. This is just Daniel Andrews recovering all the misspent monies he has used that belongs to taxpayers, they are just a law unto Daniel Andrews, who voted for this corrupt man.

  • Sandra Lyon

Found out about a fine that is not mine 4 years later have put in the evidence that it is not mine I sold the car. The fine was for me throwing 2 smokes out the window, I’ve never smoked in my life! Despite putting all the evidence in they have rejected my review! You can take me to court as I refuse to pay a fine that is clearly not mine !

  • mihiar gabbor

Hope i can give you 0 stars , Hungry for money only ,no feelings at all , They added more than $300 in to my parking fine , as i found out after that im fined, i asked for review to consider that i wasn't aware of the fine untill i received another fine and called them to rectify it ,the they told me you have fine worth $402 , shame on you

  • Daniel G

After an offence apparently occurred almost 2 years ago without my knowledge, I get a text message from these thieves today demanding payment and threatening me with law enforcement. They can't even tell me what I supposedly did wrong nor do they care. They give 2 options pay or extension. These crooks need to be shut down.

  • Stuart Charles

Fines Victoria is nothing more then a money grab. Happily take responsibility for any error, but don't know how they can justify $454 for a red light camera. Payment plans online are also a joke, they ask about all personal finances. It's easier to apply for AfterPay. Clearly designed to turn people off and pay upfront.

  • Daniela Lahanis

Everyone should learn what their strawman really is. We consent to pay these fines through the birth certificate process. YOU ARE ALL GOVERNED BY CONSENT! All fines are unlawful! Fight your fines as a living man/woman not a dead legal entity! Check out the Uniform Commercial Code to claim back your sovereignty...

Going by every one else’s experienced. I’ve just lodged a request to withdraw a fine for late payment fees 6 weeks after I’d already paid the actual fine. I didn’t get the reminder notices in mail cos they sent them to the WRONG ADDRESS. But looks like I’ve just wasted my time and they’ll not approve it.

Not a speeding fine in almost 20 years and ... two in one day for doing 5kph & 6kph over on a clear highway. Love to see the scientific analysis that denotes a 5% differential in speed is lethal. New hidden cameras do nothing but raise revenue for a government which has bankrupt our once-great state.

  • Rohan Shields

Vic Roads fails to take the money out of direct debit and I get fined $962 for unregistered vehicle plus road worthy now. Your system failed to take the money and now me and my family suffer. And they say there’s nothing you can do. Where the compassion in tough time like this, just get stonewalled.

  • Planet Salt

Revenue raising scumbags booking offenders for 5kmh over limit. Putting speed cameras in 50 kmh zones in old Melbourne Road in Sorrento where there has never been an accident. Dirty Dan needs the revenue to pay off his $187 million dollars of debt. Victorians get what they voted for. Groundhog day

If you're experiencing 'higher than normal call volumes' everyday for the last 5 years, that's not higher than normal - that IS normal. Common sense would have you hire more employees to meet the demands... Anyway, they stopped my direct debit payments and now the Sheriff is after me. Very nice.

  • James Callahagn

I understand they need to make quotas, bit you could atleast act like you care about the decisions you make. Issue me a fine on the 30th and add more fees on the 3rd before I even get the fine in the mail and refuse to take off the extra fees you guys added during the mail process. Cruel.

  • Chris Liu

I understood people will always get frustrated when they have fines, but my experience with the staff has been quite alright, they are actually helpful when I had a rather difficult case. Surely, they are understaffed, stressed and didn’t have much smile but they are professional at least

  • Georgia Donovan

absolutely useless customer service agents. so rude and not willing to listen to you at all. they need to be trained in how to treat people with respect, we get told these days to respect and treat everyone with respect and kindness, maybe they need a lesson in what those two words mean.

  • arpan bhatia

Their system is stuffed. No one knows what's going on. Even after the court order and fine is on hold, still getting the letter to pay 3500$ fine or further action will be taken. Customer care needs to be more informed, getting different information from different executives.

  • Nebojsa Njegovanovic

nothing to do with safety just revenue raising, setting up cameras on spots where people are most likely to go few kmh over the limit. Are we suppose to be watching the road or speedometer , beacuse one is safer. What will 6 kmh over the speed limit on an empty freeway do.

  • Adam

If only I can give negative star for this government department. Don't want to listen to any valid reason whatsoever, even after getting all the proof for 2 parking fines that were not mine. They just want someone to pay. Lazy governance at its best.

  • Widayati Yodgee

Its such a long hook turn and I was snapped for driving through the red light for 5 seconds. Getting $481 fine and 3 demerit points. This is way too much and ridiculous!!! I wish I could give a zero star

  • Pat

Fined my dad for not voting and sent multiple letters even though he died years ago. Completely insensitive and completely unprofessional. Try hiring locals instead of call centres in India who are completely hopeless.

  • C Spainneach

Absolute lowlifes, escalated my fine based on them losing my payments in the system (which they later found) but once at final notice stage you can't get a review! So you're stuck paying excess fees. Bloody crooks!!!!

  • Jas

The website experience is the worst. Kept on crashing, had to fill the same form again & again 4-5 times. Pages takes ages to load up. Recommendation: Improve your online website customer service experience.

  • Emily Hamilton

Totally unreasonable and rude for a fine I should never have been issued, yet now forced to pay with extra fees. Negative stars, this is one of the worst organisations I've ever had to deal with.

  • Cristina Daniela

Staff have always been very accomodating and very understanding of personal circumstances and willing to go above and beyond to support you. I applaud their services towards the general public.

  • Joshua Nissenbaum

Revenue raising organisation - desperate to take your hard earned money. I was fined $350 for exactly 4 kilometers over the speed limit. Consider things like this before moving to Victoria.

  • AC G

Lecture us to treat staff with respect yet they talk over you, hang up on you when you have done nothing wrong, and don't help in any way. They may as well not be there. Waste of money.

  • Andie G

Disgraceful revenue raising fines everywhere I want to get out of this state. Fined in every single direction it’s a travesty and the cost! On and on and on don’t miss a payment …

  • Bianca Wright

Literally the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. Spent half my holidays on the phone to these people and nothing ever noted down!! My 2 year old toddler would do a better job!

  • J V.

Crooks, straight up extorting money from people going just over the speed limit. Cameras everywhere now since the lockdowns and you guys are raking in cash. Corrupt

  • Winston Huor

I tried to resolve an issue with a fine. Staff was rude and not helpful at all. Once they said they couldn’t help me they told me to leave the building.

  • Jason Smith

Call up say your part of the illuminati and a freemason and bang you're in the gay club, they will waive all your fines with a click of the fingers....

  • Justin Trawin

It's like you haven't learnt from robodebt, bring up fines I have proof had already been dealt with luckily I kept all paperwork and receipts

  • Cara Elliott

They were very helpful and understanding of my circumstances. Compared to other states fines enforcement agencies, i give them 5 stars

  • Mucahit Karamahmutoglu

no professionalism, the way they talk to you is terrible, when you need help from them they enjoy hurting you more than helping you.

  • Rosey Missy

Service agent is not even in this country. Biggest joke ever hahahahahaha. Never gonna give them what they want.

  • Aiden Magri

will never, ever pay these bottom-feeders a single cent. would get my vote to rename it Scum Victoria

  • jake “MIGHTYmonster69” h

COX IS THE BIGGEST MAN THERE Can he do it again? Can he do it again? YOU BET CHA 3 OF THE VERY BEST.

  • Jack Cal

The gentleman I spoke to this afternoon was quite lovely and provided some thorough information. A+

  • Matthew Clark

This would have go be the worst customer service I have ever seen and unfortunately experienced

  • Dominic Miller

Actually these folk are very helpful and supportive if you’re pleasant to them and honest.

  • Roland Fewtrell

If I could give negative star review I would,to list the issues would be endless

  • jezza wayne

Useless phone line and letters sent out without the details that they ask for

  • Dominic Cavdar

The phone numbers don't even ring I can't call to organise a payment plan

  • fana veljanovski

They don't bother to check if the number plate matches the vehicle type

  • FadedTitan

Money sucking leeches. Everyone just don't pay. They can't make us all

  • Tequila Sunrise

Thanks for keeping everyone safe by taking our money.
