RUDE HORRIBLE STAFF……….I went here for drinks with my family the first thing the staff did was tell us the kitchen is closed. We were told by 3 different staff in the same area and we said we are just here for drinks. My cousin went up to get one round of drinks and then was told the bar is closing in 5 min. We asked another staff when the bar was closing and she said 9:30. We went back up and the rude staff was laughingly being rude to my cousin. After another round of drinks we still had 40 min left to get drinks at the bar. But the rude staff said he got a message from his boss to close. We didn’t mind we understood because we worked in this line is well. He started giving drinks to other people who came after us. We were not drunk or anything he just was racist and looking at us the whole time. We decided to leave because obviously we were not welcome and comfortable. Normally we all say thanks when leaving but all of us didn’t say thanks because of the treatment we got. The staff was looking at us and said what’s your problem. One of my cousins just said thanks and left because he decided to be the bigger person than that uneducated staff member. I have been living here since I was 4 years old and never faced this much racism and rudeness at a bar. We were not rude and we would understand if they wanted to go home we all worked in restaurants and bars. But the treatment we faced there was horrible and I would never go back. Out of all the pubs in Dublin that I have been to this one is the most racist rudest staff members there. Normally I don’t write reviews but this ruined our day and our family day out.

As a foodie I would like to try different food. There are few MUST - TRY traditional Irish food. - Beef and Guinness Pie - very rich flavor and it pairs with a puff pastry caps and chips - Irish Corned Beef and Cabbage pairs creamy mashed potatoes with cabbage ⭐️ Overall experience ⭐️ We randomly walked in this bar, the atmosphere was so good and the staffs were very friendly!! Food are so yummy and I love the beef and Guinness pie the most because the puff pastry caps is a perfect match with the meat - the pastry has a light and airy texture. When you eat it with the beef, it balanced the texture and the flavour ❤️ I love it very much. Oh...not to mention the portion was huge.. we have tried our best to finish all

We had a quite nice time at Fitzgerald's Bar. The service is nice with a friendly and attentive crew. The meals we ordered were served really fast, in about 5 minutes, I would say. Both meals were really good and well served. A cold pint of Guinness to go together. The prices are nice considering you are in the downtown of Dublin.

Very nice pub with cosy interior on the river in the Temple Bar area. Food was excellent and a very good pint of Guinness. In fact, the Guinness was in better condition and about 3 euros cheaper than the Guinness served at the "world famous" Temple Bar pub up the street.

Amazing chicken wings, I’m throughly impressed. The chicken was so tender it peeled off the bone. I was able to eat them with a folk and knife to not dirty my fingers, but they also provide water with lemon to wash hands after the meal. It was a great price for the quality and quantity of food. Good and kind servers. Yummy desert. Love this place, will definitely visit again.

I've just eaten the most delicious cottage pie in the known universe here at the gorgeous Fitzgeralds Bar. Could only get through half of the serving but took the rest with me because it was too good to leave. Thank you chef...unforgettable.

We were cold, tired and ready to head back to the hotel before we stumbled upon this place. The live music was fantastic and the service was 10/10!!! The food was so delicious!!! Warning, however, come hungry! The portions are huge!!! :) worth the money for sure. So if you need a quick pint, some delicious food and a fun atmosphere... highly suggest this pub~

Runny Guinness pie, more like a watery stew with a bit of pastry on top, good flavour but inedible. Food was quick though (too quick by the looks of things) and staff were friendly. Paid 16.50 for the pie so you would expect better.

Had the Guinness beef pie and it was so good! I’d seen some mixed reviews so wasn’t sure what to expect but it was brilliant, especially after a long day of sightseeing along with a pint of Guinness

Spent quite some time in here during 6Nations weekend. We came in on the Saturday and the Sunday. The Guinness flowed well, and the music was fantastic. The staff were welcoming (I was able to play my bagpipes in the bar) and very efficient. Would definitely return when I next come over to Dublin

We showed up around six and managed to grab some really great seats. Had some drinks, followed by dinner, then more drinks. The place was really welcoming, and Jess looked after us all night, best service I've had in my visit to Ireland. Good portion sizes, good selection of drinks. Keep it up!

One of the best pubs in Dublin. They have many good options for beer, delicious food, fair prices, beautiful decoration, clean bathrooms, and polite staff. The Brazilians that work there are very nice and attentive. When I come to Dublin I always come here for a burger and a beer.

Lively pub with a great name, friendly staff, and tasty food. Live music is also a great time and the location is fairly central to everything. Definitely recommend checking it out.

Go to darkey Kelly's for the beef and guiness stew. But come here for the cottage pie. It was the best we had in the city. It was flavorful and a ton of food.
