I had Fix My Roof provide a “roof repair” package, which was to fix the leaking I was having into my garage. I was given a quote which was approximately $600, tax included. They were very quick to follow up, and without inspecting to see where the water was coming in, told me with confidence that it had been repaired (about an hour’s work). I promptly paid the $600 that same day. Two weeks later, I had more water coming in in the same area. It was slightly more difficult to get someone in this time, but they came and applied another silicone patch in another area. This happened again 2 weeks later after some back and forth. I was told to follow up if I had any more issues. When my roof continued to leak in the same area after having more rain, I tried getting in touch with someone to help me out, to no avail. I’ve since been told by numerous roofers that I needed a new roof replacement, and no one should have attempted to do a patch repair from the beginnings. Numerous professionals assured me that even with further patching, it would still continue to leak. They wouldn’t take on the repair job. The guys at Fix My Roof should have identified this from the get go, or after the third time returning, had offered some kind of resolution. After calling and emailing numerous times, no one has responded over the course of many weeks. I’ve recently had to replace my entire roof, and it would have been nice to have been spared this $600 inconvenience, and the many weeks I was forced to delay my renovations.

I was having issues with water staining on my ceiling indoors. My roof was not due to be replaced for another 5 years so thought I just needed a repair. Tried repairs with another company which unfortunately didn't work (but not surprised as past experiences taught me that it is very difficult to determine the path of water from entry of a structure to where the leak appears on the interior). I asked Fix My Roof to have a look and they indicated that the shingles were ok (to last the 5 years of expected effectiveness) but diagnosed the problem was in the installation and was given the details of the problem that made sense. I was given a quote for repairs but was told that (understandably) the work could not be guaranteed as they would be fixing a job that was not theirs. So I asked for a quote to replace the roof. The quote was given and replacement done all in a timely and professional manner. All interaction from start to finish with everyone at Fix My Roof were very respectful of me and my property and the crew left everything clean and tidy. There is a place in heaven for those boys. I am very happy that their communication throughout focused on their work and abilities and not the shortcomings of the work done by others previously except to give a diagnosis to make an informed decision.

We knew our roof wouldn't last another winter. Bits had been falling off into the pool and the backyard over the summer. We requested several quotes. Al, who came out to give us a quote was very professional. The quote was very clear in terms of the cost, very clear in terms of the work to be performed. As well, with the quote came a copy of their licences. ( Trade Licence - Master - Building Repair and Trade Licence - Contractor) We also discussed that they had WSIB coverage and their employees were all trained in fall arrest. Then came the day of the install. I have the utmost respect for the gentlemen who came to do the roof. They arrived just before their scheduled time. They brought with them a bin for the old shingles to be transported away in. No need to rent a separate bin ourselves. They got to work right away and they worked hard and diligently. What came off the roof was quite a mess because the shingles had been deteriorating for a few years. They did an excellent clean up considering the mess. We are so very pleased with all aspects of the service we received from the quote to the install to the clean up. We happily recommend Fix My Roof. Thanks to all of you.

I have called Fix My Roof twice. First time it was to get a quote on adding two vents to our roof for bathroom fans. It was right after the 2016 windstorm in our area. Roofers were all crazy busy and it was impossible to get anyone out. They were one of only two companies that responded. Though I didn't get the work done (as I decided to replace the roof instead) it left me with a good first impression. A few years later the roofing contractor I used for our large roofing project had a personal tragedy and had to fold up his company. I have no ill will towards him (honest and professional) but I needed someone to come fix a piece of counter flashing that had come loose from a dormer window. I called Fix My Roof based on my previous experience. I was not disappointed. They were responsive, fair in pricing and made sure we were all on the same page. The got the work done in a timely manner and when onsite guys were pleasant to work with. I want to thank Luke and Derek for helping me get the flashing fixed. It was a small fix but if not addressed it could have become a bigger issue come the next storm or winds.

Absolutely gouged after a recent windstorm. This was one of the few companies to get back to me to do a small repair on a section of roof. Communication was good, work was quick to be arranged. I was charged $700 for a few sheets of shingles and a quick repair. No receipt was ever left or mailed (illegal). I confirmed work done with the contact (owner?) Luke who agreed with my estimation of materials used, absolutely outrageous. The workers seem to do good work and I am happy with the state of the repair, but the owner is taking advantage of hard working people like myself who didn't have the time to fix the roof myself during daylight before the next rainfall. Won't be using them ever again. My advice, keep looking for another roofing company!

Second time I have called fix my roof in 5 years. First time I had a flashing issue at my chimney, they were able to fix it for me for a very fair price, and it hasn't had a problem since. Fast forward to a month ago, we had a few pieces of siding come loose at the side of my home from the strong winds we had, their price again was very fair and very prompt service. A month later another piece near the one that was fixed came loose, they came out and took care of that for me as well. Very polite and again did an outstanding job. When I do eventually need to replace my roof I already know who I am going to call, thanks again Fix My Roof!

I arranged for this company to fix my sister's roof. Their quote was very fair and about what I expected to pay (another company gave me a quote twice this amount with pushy salespeople). I had a good eperience from start to finish- prompt quote with detailed costs of any extras required, job comenced shortly after I recieved the quote, and the job was finished prompltly (despite a rain relay which ws also well handled). e-mail communication throughout. They cleaned up the site well and were considerate of the neighbours. i would definitely recommend this company and would use them again.

We had a small leak in an overhang roof that needed to be addressed. A different roofing company had redone the roof five years ago and was no longer in business so we connected with Fix My Roof. They quicky uncovered the issue and had it addressed within a few hours. Their costs came back lower than their original quote and the repairs looked very professional, covering up my own unsightly efforts to tar the trouble spot. They shared pictures of the trouble spots and were transparent through the entire process. 10/10 would recommend.

The company informed us in a timely fashion suitable to us they would be coming as planned to do our roof. They were professional all around from the property maintenance to the stripping, sheeting and shingling our roof. Any thing in quest was brought to our attention before hand so as to leave nothing unexplained. The grounds were cleaned up as would be expected when anyone does work around your property. Fix My Roof completely re-shingled our entire roof, having to lay all new plywood first. They not only did our roof, but they also did our back addition roof as well. They spent two full days completing our roof. They are patient, respectful and responsive and very professional. I could tell they truly took their time and put a lot of effort into making sure our roof was done right. Their cleanup is amazing too, you’d never know they were here. Although the roofing job was postponed twice (once for manpower, once for weather), overall I'm satisfied with the job. I would rate the quality as 4/5. They did not cut corners, used all the correct materials and underlayments, replaced sheathing as was needed. The job was not rushed. After the job, they went above and beyond to clean up and ensure no nails or debris were left behind. In today's market I also believe the price was reasonable. I would recommend this company.

You came out to do the quote as promised, I was told a day or two andnill have a written quote. One week later I received a phone call saying you are declining the job due to the low slope and the fact its the back half of the house. The guy that did the quote even said there is no reason to do the front as its in perfect condition. I can't understand why I wasn't told this at the first meeting, why waste my time!! You are the only company who have "refused" to do the job!

Had our roof done in 2014. The whole process was professional from start to finish. We just had a situation where a large number of shingles broke free due to a big wind storm we had. We were informed by our neighbour last night or would not even known. The quote was detailed so my neighbour and I (semi-detached) knew exactly what they would be doing, price was competitive, they did a great job, cleaned up afterwards, and the team was professional and easy to talk to. Great work. I got a quote for some flashing/capping on my parapet wall. Price was great. Workers showed up exactly on time. Cleaned up great after. They even did an extra repair on a couple damaged shingles and a vent on my roof that wasn't properly done. Always great when someone goes above and beyond to make the job right.

We had a few shingles come loose and called Derek at Fix My Roof . He inspected yesterday and because of previous commitments could not get here until the beginning of the week . Do to pending rain forecast he shuffled his schedule and came back this morning to complete the work. Excellent work Derek .

Contacted the company and they said they would arrange someone to come onsite to do an estimate and no one followed up. Emailed them 2 weeks later to find out what happened and received a reply that someone would get back to me that day... No one ever did. Not very good service in my books.

They replaced the shingles on our roof. They are very professional team and yet very modest guys. Timely contacts, all paperwork in order, brought all needed equipment and materials, didn't bother us at all, not even for a glass of water, met all our needs and requests. Highly recommend.

Poor job, had you check all work daily, get deficiencies dealt with daily, missing ice and water in areas, new plywood put on very poorly big gaps, cigarettes butted in attic, attitude from lead hand, numerous call backs.
