Called practice during listed business hours, got 1 1/2 mins of recorded messages before being transferred to out of hours service. Tried again, same thing happened. Sent request for callback and reason for contact via their 'Contact Us' form on the website. No response after over a week. Found an email address for them on their Facebook page, sent an email that was returned with an error "reception wasn't found at fhmc.net.au" I have been seeing a terrible doctor for years and trying to find a reliable replacement has been very difficult but based on reviews I really believed this practice would turn all of that around only I can even get someone to answer the phone or respond to repeated requests to call me. They say hey welcome new patients but you can't book online if you're new, you have to call. I have run out of options and am so bitterly disappointed I felt it was only right to warn anybody else before they get their hopes up. By the way, don't even consider posting a response asking me to contact your practice manager after the efforts I've gone through and the complete disregard you've shown; this review is my contacting the practice manager.

Small practice, good for locals if you don't mind waiting a few days. I will always book here in advance if possible, as it is close to my home and the doctors are friendly and seem quite knowledgeable and professional. Appointments usually run more or less on time. They also have nurses on staff, which is handy for immunisations. The premises is small and old, but clean and tidy, with a small waiting room, adequate for the handful of doctors and nurses who are present on any given day. It is rare to get a same or next day appointment, but that's not unusual around here.

This practice has gone to the dogs, I've been going here for 46 years. Since Dr Werner Linde retired this practice has gone down hill. You can never get in, I rang for an urgent appt to get a referral for my cardiologist but was told I couldn't get in for 2 weeks, I told them how urgent it was and asked if I could be squeezed in, still told 2 weeks. Reception staff are not helpful at all, there rude and I dont think I've seen such a big staff turnover, guess that tells you what kind of practice they have become, I will never recommend this practice to anyone.

I have been attending this practice for a number of years. All the other doctors have been fantastic. I went to see Dr Lisa Walker for my daughter. I found her to be rude and argumentative, with very little manner. I asked her a question and her response was "what do want me to do" She then waved her hands in the air and walked off. I will not be seeing her again.

Lovely staff, convenient location, easy to book. Been going to flagstaff hill medical for years, I even moved away from the area but still go back as its doctors are excellent. Both the doctors and nurses are professional and personable. All the staff are! It's hard to find good surgeries these days so I'll keep coming back.

Very angry with Dr Southcott, not only did he prescribe wrong medication, I got slugged full price, even though I'm a health care card holder. I suggested he goggle to find out the correct medication, he didn't, so I just did, & there was the correct medication, that I needed. Thanks for almost killing me.

All office staff are great communicators always helpful and never treat you like an inconvenience. All doctors are through and helpful never rush you along to get to the next patient sooner ect.. Best medical center I have had to attend would always prefer to visit this Centre for all our medical needs.

New review from me. Originally gave 5 stars as the staff and doctors were fantastic. Miss Dr Guy so much. Did not appreciate the doctor I had today, phone consult basically did a quick conversation then dumped me back to reception. Not nice at all Must say reception staff, amazing and lovely as always

My only complaint is that sometimes it can be a two week or more wait to see your preferred doctor, but this only speaks more to the quality of service here if there is such high demand. And usually another doctor on the staff is more than happy to see you if your usual GP is unavailable.

First time to visit Flagstaff Medical Centre. Dr David Cooke was my doctor. Excellent communicator and very understanding. He was great and hope he stays at centre. The reception staff were very efficient also. Getting my bloods taken at centre was also very helpful. Highly recommend

I seen dr Lisa walker today and I couldn’t have felt more relaxed and comfortable about my experience. She was lovely, caring and finding the best solution for my daughter. The staff at the front desk are just as welcoming too. I’ve been going here for years. Thanks guys.

The receptionists are always lovely today I had to visit the nurse first, she was caring & helpful. I then went into see Dr Lisa Walker who always listens to you & works through any issues you raise with her. I have found her to be thorough & easy to talk to.

Seems weird writing a review for a medical centre but the people whom work here are just the best, they’ve helped me short notice and have always been friendly & polite and efficient, with a diverse range of doctors you’ll find one that suits you here.

Lovely, helpful reception staff - always greeted with a smile no matter how busy. Appreciated being seen by doctor on time and treatment being explained thoroughly by her. Great to have access to a nurse and Clinpath services when needed.

I have been seeing Dr Price for a few years now and she is simply the most thorough and caring doctor that I have ever seen. The practice is friendly and everyone there goes above and beyond to put their patients first!
