Absolutely disgraceful service, my husband's flight is in less than 24hours and can't check in as the itinerary is missing from the airlines website - having been on hold for over 15mins with the store, we called the emergency line and were told we have to go back and call the centre again. 30minutes on and we're finally through. One instance wouldn't be a problem but this is not unusual for this one booking and has been the same experience since first booking back in January. It reminds me why I never go through travel centres - and will most certainly never deal with flight centre again. Please go direct with airlines. Update: At 9.30 we spoke to Jess who told my husband she would call him back. It's now 3pm and no word despite multiple attempts to call the store. His flight is at 7.30 in the morning. I'm not sure how to respond to Flight Centres review but the fact that they didn't even read the review properly says so much - I said I called the emergency line first and their advice is to call the emergency line... Such incompetence and so very disappointing. 2nd update: I know an update for review but I think it's important to show the level of incompetence. Husband ended up going to flight Centre - of course without an appointment he had to wait. While waiting he tried the airline and was told that the ticket hadn't been issued and was about to be cancelled. When he got off the phone with the airline (who we tried originally but told we had to deal with travel agent) Danny told him it had all been fixed. Funny that... This is just unbelievable. This was a 40th present that was meant to bring joy. We will never go with a travel agent again, never mind Northland, never mind Flight Centre. They are single handedly ruining their own market. Minus stars if it were possible. This review will be posted where possible and through word of mouth. No one should be treated like this. As another review said, they take your money and ghost you.

My partner and i booked a trip with Renee to Africa and in the end we ended up booking majority of it ourselves due to frustration and lack of communication. Our communication with Renee was appalling, we wouldn't hear back from her weeks at a time, when we did hear from her we were told money was due in 24hrs time which was ridiculous considering we haven't heard from her in weeks. One time i called to get clarification about the trip a guy answered the phone whom then put Renee on whom said" im actually on leave at the moment and shouldn't be answering this call what the problem" what a disgusting response when all i required was clarification about our trip YOUR "trying" to organise for us. Once money was paid we were ghosted for weeks on end not knowing what was happening. We will never use flight centre again and have told friends about our experience absolutely disgusting service and she didn't care about being at work or wanting to perform well at her job.

I booked a flight to Bali with Jetstar and the accommodation for the first 2 nights. 2 days before the flight, Jetstar cancelled the flight. I called the flight centre and they easily changed the flight with no extra cost saying that the new flight was with Qantas and had 1 stop in Sydney but, as it was part of the same flight, we didn't need to get the luggage and check in again. The guy reassured me that even if I didn't receive the confirmation email, we could go to the airport and he gave me direction to go to the Qantas terminal. As we reached there in the morning, they couldn't find our names in the Qantas flight. After waiting for a long time, they told us we had the flight with Jetstar (so we had to walk to a different terminal) to Sydney, where we had to collect our bags and do the check in again to go to Bali. The information given to us was completely wrong, and the day of the flight this can be really stressful.

what a joke, tried ringing 8 times at 9.10am to speak to travel money oz in the flight centre, had the line automatically disconnected the first 7 times, then got an answering machine who said I needed to go in to book an "appointment" then automatically hung up. What they are that important and busy they can't be bothered with potential clients??? will go elsewhere now, good indication for me not to book a holiday there.. no stars at all, but have to give one to post. Funny the reply below, if they had read mine correctly, then they would have seen it was flight centre phone line that was the issue not travel money oz. Found the phone number myself much quicker than their answer

Danny was amazing in organising flights for my wife and I from Melbourne to Cuba to Rome and back to Melbourne again. We knew getting to Cuba was going to be tough and we didn’t want to transit at all through the US and he made it work. In comparison to other travel agents and other Flight Centre stores we visited he was by far the best and managed to save us between $1400 to $2000 in comparison to the other agents, and that’s including travel insurance. From the moment we walked in the store he was very friendly and inviting. He listened to what we were after and did his absolute best to meet our needs. We also recommended him to the rest of our tour group.

It’s hard to get an appointment with flight Centre these days let alone get through to them on the phone. Northland is slightly better with answering there phones but once there for my appointment kept me waiting for 30 minutes! This was to get an appointment with a trainee who didn’t know much at all(I know not his fault)!! Luckily I only needed to book 1 hotel reservation. I would have done this on the phone but I had a gift certificate which could not be used online and the price for the hotel I wanted to book was cheaper on their website but they wouldn’t honour that price in-store!!!! My advice - book online with another company!!!!

It literally says flight center is open! I went there and it is freaking closed! I rang the number on the door to book a face to face appointment and the next available appointment "to book a flight" is literally 2 weeks later. I then said okay that's fine, I'll just book it over the phone. Well apparently it's also another 2 weeks just to book a phone appointment!! Which is literally 1 day before I actually have to fly. The fact that they are allowing me to leave my flights booked at the very last minute is extremely unprofessional in itself!!! Can't book in person, can't book on the phone!! I might as well not go on my trip. Sigh.

If you book an appointment with Adrian you better hope you never did he is the most pathetic travel agent I have ever seen or come across. He just lies, makes 0 effort on top of that his customer service is just as pathetic as he is. I don't know how he has a job from how useless he is. I went in store and waited for ages after being noticed. He said they had no appointments available. I left walked back and he was chatting with other staff. Couldn't book me in for a week. Promised he'd call me and I got nothing back for over a week. If flight centre do keep him on this poor guy needs weeks of training for how to do his job.

Jetstar were advertising flights with fiji airways to Fiji to Tokyo to Melb between Feb/March this year. Thought it looked like a good deal. Went into the store because nothing could actually be found online. Had to make a phone booking in store just to confirm if the flights actually existed. The guy from Northland called me with no idea about the flights and said he'd call back with some info. This never happened and it turns out the flights advertised never existed. Unless you're a 75 year old who doesn't know how to work a computer and look at skyscanner, there's absolutely no point booking with Flight Centre.

Fab was incredibly diligent in organising my trip I walked in whilst both consultants were busy but Fab was attentive and assured me that he'd be able to serve me as soon as he was available. It was very easy communicating with Fab as he was so mindful to my requirements for my flights. When he gave me my different flight options he explained the differences very simply. He even made sure my layover periods were short. I felt very looked after in this process that is usually tedious. If I was a regular traveler, I would definitely be returning to Fab for his excellent services

Worst service I have received in years! And don’t take their comment below seriously at all as I did reach out to them and never received a response! Once Renee received the money from us, she stopped responding and I had to chase her for nearly 3 months!! 1) stuffed up the booking, 2) provided incorrect information 3) charged extra for a service she didn’t provide at all and lastly 4) ended up changing the flight to a much more inconvenient one last minute before checking with us! This was the first and last time I used flight centre for booking any ticket.

What a joke! We got there at 1.50pm and were told to sit and wait it “wouldn’t be long”. At 2.20pm one of the incompetent workers said “5mins guys”. Still waiting at 3.15pm - that’s almost 1.5 hours sitting there - another Incompetent worker finished with his client, THEN WALKED OUT THE BACK FOR 5 mins and then decided to come over with a grin and tell us they were closing and couldn’t see us. Idiots!! And DON’T reply with some “make an appointment” rubbish. If at 2.20pm were told we wouldn’t be seen we would have said no problem.

Amazing service!! I just started planning my first trip overseas, slightly anxious prior to going in to seeing a travel against as I had no clue what I was doing. James did a fantastic job calming my nerves and explaining the process. He had incredible knowledgeable and gave me huge amount of confidence and excitement for my trip. He worked around plans I’ve already booked and made great recommendations regarding timeline and transport. Very excited to continue working with James and plan out this holiday!!

Never ever deal with this store! Adrian is an absolute disgrace and sells products to elderly people who don’t know what they are purchasing. Natasha the store manager will not accept in any capacity their misconduct or accept any responsibility for the immoral behavior of her staff. Adrian will not respond to emails in a timely manner or at all and refuses to acknowledge he is preying on vulnerable senior citizen. Avoid this store at all cost before you get tripped off! Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!

We recently booked business class airfares to Europe for next year with Renee and she was an absolute legend. Whilst the process could've been done in 20 minutes or so, we spent 2 hours with her over 2 different sit-downs and lot of that time she was just trading invaluable trading tips. What might sound like a small tidbit of information can be extremely helpful. This is probably where all the value-add is. Would be referring back to Renee for other aspects of our holiday.

Adrian is the most pathetic travel agent wouldn’t help me but would chat to people he works with what , isn’t being a team member suppose to mean helping customers appointments or no appointments at Flight Centre suppose to be the job there’s a person who worked at flight Centre many years ago who could work for flight centre again if wanted to and would be better then him I hope you fire him or provide weeks of training

Highly recommend Renee! She is able to give fantastic advice and support particularly if you're not sure what you're doing and is very professional! Renee helped my son put together a surprise 21st birthday package for him and his girlfriend to Japan with an itinerary that fit really well into his budget and interests and didn't compromise on quality or safety. We will definitely return for our future holidays!

Worst ever. Ghosted once they got their money. I have tried to call Adrian and email Adrian for six weeks just to be ignored. I said to Renee if he can't help get someone else to help me but no one called me. I needed help with my trip and Adrian just ignored me. Extremely terrible service. They just grab the money and run and hardly organised anything. Never recommend them to anyone. I give minus zero stars

Has turned into the worse customer experience of my life. Have tried to escalate this via email, direct calls, Twitter messages and never get a response. I am trying to finalise a trip booked with them from last year, which was hard enough to make happen and now no responses or correspondence for 6 weeks and counting. I have never found it so hard to give a company money in my life. Extremely disappointed.

I have booked an Europe trip three months ago and rebooked another appointment to finalise the trip. When we get to store, we were told that our appointment has been moved to one hour later. We rushed in to keep our schedule to then being made to wait. The appointment was not even in the calendar at my requested time.

They used to be okay, now they are just horrible. If you book a trip with Jay, be prepared to be your own travel agent, he doesnt do anything and hardly responds What is the point then, might as well book and plan your own trips. I had the misfortune of getting my trip sabotaged through his incompetence.

Can't list all of the problems we have had with Flight Centre Northland. Needless to say that stranded and away from home is not fun! They use a third party to book all travel so do yourself a favour and use Expedia yourself and cut out the middle-man. Northland store only open during bus hours.

Ive used Flight Centre 3 times now to travel to Norway. The staff are quiet helpful setting up flights, and keeping up to date with itenary changes. So if ur planning to travel give them a go. I feel we got to help this industry get back on its feet. Its taken a battering lately.
