Title: Disappointing Experience at Flight Club I recently had an unfortunate encounter at the flight club with the unprofessional doorman and manager. I must say it was a highly disappointing experience. A group of friends and I were looking forward to spending a fun evening at this establishment, only to be turned away at the door without any valid explanation. From the very beginning, the staff's attitude was unwelcoming, and they seemed disinterested in serving our group. Despite our best efforts to engage with them, we were met with dismissive responses. When we inquired about the reason for our denial, we were met with vague and inconsistent excuses, leaving us feeling frustrated and unworthy of their service. Not only did this bar exhibit a lack of professionalism, but they also failed to treat their potential customers with respect and courtesy. It's crucial for any establishment to maintain a welcoming environment for all patrons, regardless of their group size or background. I hope that the management takes this feedback seriously and takes the necessary steps to improve their practices and create a more welcoming atmosphere for all guests. As a group, we felt unjustly rejected and undeserving of such treatment. We will not be recommending the flight club to anyone seeking a positive and enjoyable nightlife experience. Instead, we encourage others to explore the many other bars in the area that prioritize customer satisfaction and inclusivity.

Mixed feelings about Flight Club. I had heard fantastic things however I feel like we may have caught them on an off day (I will revisit soon and amend this review if so). We walked in on an early Monday evening in the hopes of getting a game in and some drinks. We were greeted after a couple of minutes and had everything explained to us - we said we wanted to get a quick game in and were told that's fine and to give details to the booking in desk. We are also told everything was fully table serviced so we didn't need to order at the bar. When we got to the booking in desk we were told there was a 3 hour wait to play a game and that darts boards are kept aside for larger parties at prime time so we would need to wait until prime time was over. A shame, but we shrugged it off and decided to sit in and hang a quick drink before moving elsewhere. We sat and looked through the menu and decided on drinks. We waited. No service. Still waited and after about 25 minutes it was easier to order at the bar so we did that. There were about 4 floor staff on and only about 10 people in the venue so not sure what happened here. Overall a bit disappointing, but feel like this night not be the standard experience. Aside from this, the venue itself is absolutely beautiful. Take the time to have a wander around.

One of my favourite places to visit every time we are out in Birmingham. Close enough to all types of transport. I would recommend to book in advance ( 2-3 months ). Great darts and cocktails accompanied by nice music. The staff is always very friendly and helpful.

Paid parking is available in no more than 10 minutes walk. Parking by the club is hard to find / close to impossible . A lot of different options for traveling with public transport - bus , train , tram or taxi will take you very close to the place just 5 mins walk

Visited the venue yesterday but got turned away. Very disappointing especially as there was no reason behind it. When asked for a reason the door supervisors told us our party "cancelled" as a door supervisor myself I could tell right away they were patronising us and this wasn't the case. We later found out they turned one of our party away for appearing intoxicated. The member he turned away was in fact sober. He happens to suffer with learning difficulties and if you do not engage with him he could appear "different" however he wasn't even given the chance. Appreciate as doorman we can't vet everyone before entering especially when it's busy. However not even giving someone the time of day is disheartening and somewhat discriminative. I for one won't be frequenting again and it's disappointing to say. I very much enjoy the Flight Club venues but having seen the way one of us was treated it has put me off.

As part of my 40th year celebrations, my partner booked for us to go as a couple. The place is amazing and a must visit. We went as a couple and had a great time and immediately after were planning who would go with as part of a larger group after having had so much fun. The staff were really attentive, we were advised on the set up and how it would work. Photographs/winner videos were taken frequently so there was no need for selfies, we could focus on just enjoying ourselves as much as possible and my other half had informed before attending it was a birthday so it was a great surprise when staff and other visitors joined in a chorus of happy birthday with a cake and gift voucher for me. There is so much attention to detail and the staff really did know how to ensure every visitor had a great time. 100% will be going back here, it was a superb afternoon.

Absolutely great night out! We didn't have any main food dishes just some snacks which were average. However, the main reason we went (party of 8) was for the darts. For many of us it was our first time coming to Fight Club and it did not dissappoint. Would highly recommend to book and to get the full enjoyment of the evening if you can book at least 1.5 hr you will definitely enjoy it! No experience of darts needed as the games avaliable really easy to understand and you are guided electronically throughout the games you choose. A great team building evening - everyone enjoyed the evening. Service was top class and once we set up a tab - was really easy to order drinks to the booth we were in whilst we were playing darts.

Wow what an amazing venue in the middle of Birmingham! Who though darts and alcohol would go together!! Even though it was busy when we arrived we were greeted by a friendly member of staff who took us to the booking till. Whilst we waited we ordered drinks which were good and cheap. We were then taken upstairs to our dart area. It was great our own secluded section to bags and coats were safe, we were told how to play and basic instructions and then off we played! We pre ordered food which was perfect but you can order on the night. Basically fab night would highly recommend!

A great place to have fun with friends, colleagues and family. No matter what the occasion this is a great place to eat, drink, mingle and have some friendly competition. The staff were fantastic, Nicos was attentive but not intrusive, always happy to help with a smile. Joe was an excellent host, able to offer advice for future visits, because we will definitely be coming back. The food was tasty and fast, bar staff were welcoming from the moment you walked in. All in all this made for a most memorable evening topped off with the fact that I won!

Novel idea if you want to play party darts. The interior is beautifully decorated and on entry we were greeted by a server who asked us if we were playing or just drinking Extensive cocktail menu and having a pint if Nevk Oil and a double G&T came to over £20 which was extortionate. J7st a cheap to get cocktails Watching the darts games, they looked interesting and interactive with computer assistance with scoring and games. Would like to try but fear that alcohol and food would be prohibitive in terms of cost. Only one vegan option... Beyond Burger

Great atmosphere, went on a work social function. We used the upstairs hall, which can be booked out for corporate functions. I eat Halaal, which I believe they provided (although this needed to be booked in advance). The thin crust cheese and tomato pizza was delicious. Im terrible at darts but had a great time.

Enjoyed playing darts - found out I am terrible at it but still had a good time. Ordered the buttermilk fried chicken burger and told them no mayonnaise as I have a raw egg allergy or atleast something that triggers an allergic reaction when I have mayonnaise. He made a note of it. Burger came, I always check the burger before eating and there was a huge dollop of mayonnaise :( Told waiter about it, he apologised and brought out a new burger eventually although it didn’t really taste nice to be honest. The buffalo chicken bites however were amazing.

Highly recommended as we thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon celebrating a friends 40th birthday. The food was tasty and the drinks were reasonably priced. Couple things to note: - if you are going as 2 players, this can only be booked up to a certain time on their busiest days (Friday, Saturday). We got the last time slot at 3:05pm for 1 hour. - your time can go super quick, so booked two slots if you love darts - take lots of boomerangs :) Just in case you need to park, Snow Hill Car Park is only 6 mins walk away and reasonable too!

A fantastic nights entertainment (well, 60 or 90 minutes depending on your booking), even for someone like me who has not thrown a dart since childhood! Fun games make the game more interesting and it really is good fun. Food was excellent, pizzas were tasty and fries were amazing. Service was friendly and prompt, and made light of my pint spillage Can highly recommend this for an experience.

What a fabulous place. The most friendly and fabulous staff who seem to love their jobs. Courtney ensured I had a gluten free menu which had so much choice. Her service was second to none. Saul was very attentive ensuring we had everything we needed and if that's not enough their are multiple electronic dart boards, hence the name "flight club". Would highly recommend!

Fantastic darts themed bar! Great for socialising or team bonding exercises! Inside is whacky and very quirky. Have your own booth, (have to book, £5 per head, we had 10 in our group and it lasts approximately 1 hour 30 minutes. Table service available at an extra cost! Be careful. Drinks and food reasonably priced on par with prices in other bars in and around area. Definitely prefer this to Bowling. Novice or Professional, it's for everyone! Definitely coming back!

This is a lively bar with a focus on darts. Being a city centre venue the prices of food and drink isn't cheap but I would certainly recommend the pepperoni pizza. It has a really thin base which is nice and crispy and it's quite large too. It arrived pretty soon after ordering too so there isn't a long wait.

The place has a very cool vibe! Very spacious and stylish - didn't even realise they had a whole second floor full of dart stations. Had a great time playing, you have an option to choose different kinds of games, you can also take pics and boomerangs that then get sent via email a day later, the drinks were awesome too (a nice selection of gin ) Would recommend to anyone who wants to do something different and have a good time!

Very presently suprised by this place. It was 5 30pm, so maybe later it might be different. Service excellent and the food was nice. Its very enjoyable for a group of desperate people with the Darts to focus on. I would recommend for works and family events. Group of of 7 for our event.

Me and my friend had an amazing experience at this bar, finding it beautiful inside and the best Flight Club we've ever visited! The very bright lights are glorious and lovely frames are displayed by the staircase, leading up to the toilets that were clean. We were treated well by the staff that promptly checked us in and the interactive darts games were epic, easily keeping us entertained for an hour!

It was a fun, experience overall. The atmosphere was lively and the darts were a fun aspect to the bar. The Dart games were decent and fun to play with a group of people. The bar prices were ok, with drinks being moderately priced. The food was ok, could have been better with a few issues with pizza being a bit too oily. All in all, happy to recommend and would go back with some friends at some point.

Wow!! Such a great place. Went there with my husband but will be back with friends too. The staff are just amazing. So friendly and helpful and good fun too. The dart playing is just amazing and the decor inside is fab. Endless drink and food menu. Love how you can take videos and pictures throughout and they are sent to you via email. Such good fun. Get booked on as they are always so busy!

I had an excellent time during my visit. I was alone but was made to feel very welcome by the staff, in particular Courtney W, who was engaging and funny and provided excellent service. I do not drink alcohol but was very impressed by the mocktails Courtney made. I will definitely be returning again in the future.

I've been here a few times over the past few years. It's only a few minutes from the train station and it's easy to book online. There's loads of game modes that has something for all abilities. The equipment & decor is in good working order. It's pricey for a beer but it's only about £11 each for 90 minutes of game time which is cheaper than ghetto golf and sixes.

Great atmosphere and games. Would be best if arranged into two teams of 6 max otherwise gets crowded and long times between play. Prices are reasonable, cocktails are superb. Totally recommend. Love the action replay videos and team photo options. Serve Neck Oil ale - so I'm happy!

Brilliant! Found it by accident whilst looking for a gluten free lunch with my wife and a friend. Fantastic staff attitude - professional, friendly and attentive. Couldn't fault them. Beautiful decor, great food and a bonus 25% discount for our air force veteran friend. Couldn't have been better!

We absolutely love this place and book it every time we visit Birmingham. The service we received on our last visit was just the best, made us feel so welcomed and important. I went as part of a work group event on Friday lunchtime. We had two booths next to each other. Staff were lovely and the games were great fun! Prosecco and cocktails were great and for food we had an abundance of pizza and curly fries. Very tasty and casual. Food is as you would expect and nothing fancy but just what you want.

The service from the young man with dark skin and a tattoo on his arm was PERFECT, and also the girl that was dressed as the MIB today. Both were great!! Food was good but maybe too much sauce for my liking. The vibes were EXCELLENT

Great place to participate in something anyone of any age can do. Staff are very helpful and attentive when playing darts. Food was lovely we mainly had finger/snack foods as an add on with our drinks. Games are super easy to play. Brilliant for our work’s Christmas doo! We loved it. Highly recommended

Excellent experience staff are amazingly helpful, and nothing was to much. One small observation was once our time was up the lady come over and removed the darts of the board and took them with her without saying anything to us or even looking our way which I felt was strange. Food is great

I’m not the biggest fan of darts but, I actually really enjoyed myself. The games were easy, enjoyable and entertaining. We had a selection of pizzas and all of them tasted great. Service was good and venue felt very well run. Drinks were nice and the interior is fantastic. Fully recommend.

Great venue for groups who enjoy throwing sharpened metal projectiles at small targets less than six feet away. Darts used to be the domain of beer bellied bores but Flight Club have made it cool! Really enjoyed it and would go more often if there was one nearer.

Great venue, drinks were tasty and the food was surprisingly good for a place where you'd assume the main draw was the darts and not the food. I'd recommend going for the food honestly! The social darts games were really fun too (even if I suck at darts )

Awesome place. My friends and I had never been anywhere like this before, but we gave it had a try and had a really good time. The play area, drinks and food were all good... a bit on the pricey side though, so don't expect it to be cheap.

Flight Club is always a fun experience. The staff were all enthusiastic and friendly and the atmosphere is buzzing in here. Food tasted great and it was not too expensive. Book well in advance for an Oche though as it does get busy!

Beautiful and delicious cocktails, the waiters are just incredible to watch in action (they carry glasses like they weigh nothing!) and definitely book a table to play darts games - most fun we had in a while!

You must do this! .. great fun for all. Great venue, good food and drinks with very friendly staff .. variety of games .. all scores automatically calculated .. and even video replays! .. bullseye!
