The main nurse at this location makes Nurse Ratchet look like Mother Teressa. They have a pre recorded message that says please treat the staff with respect, its really hard to follow when dealing with her. She's abrupt, rude, very unhelpful. I was looking to book my son in as he had a high fever, sore throat and had tested Negative for covid. I was part way into my sentence when she cut me off saying "not here" the tone was was dismissive and definitive. When I asked why he couldn't go to his doctor she replied "what?" I asked again she replied "we're full go to Domain". I had to find out what that was and then google search where it was. Instead of attempting to find when the next appointment will be, she suggested we go to a doctor 20k away. I understand that they are probably busy, maybe they can't take a walk up of sick children, but from other reviews I've read and interactions with this woman my only suggestion is she book an appointment with the doctor as she's clearly dead inside, hates her job and the people who she has to deal with. I can understand, all those sick people asking for help it must be so annoying dealing with that day in day out.

I unfortunately suffer from a chronic personal condition . I was left feeling very embarrassed after I called twice to get results yesterday. Firstly in the morning when I was informed that one of the other GP's will look at the results & I was to ring back in the afternoon. When I called again I waited & was then told that I'd have to wait until Wednesday until the GP that saw me last Thursday can see the results because the doctors didn't know what to do with it . Whilst the receptionist was pleasant she was quietly laughing with others in thebackground. I told the receptionist that I am a registered nurse & could she offer any results. Again I was told to wait until Wednesday pm . So in the meantime it appears that I need to suffer the symtoms & perhaps pay for over the counter treatment which I can ill afford that may not fix the problem. I hold many of the GP's in high regard & I have received good care & support over the years but yesterday wasn't a good experience.

I have gone here since roughly 2016. Put up with the rude receptionist regularly but today was my final straw. I have been awaiting test results, due to being very sick to the point where I almost went to the ER, since Tuesday (is now Friday). Received horrible attitude from a certain receptionist ‘A’ followed by ‘A’ abruptly hanging up on me. Drs have been lovely and caring but after today I just can’t understand why people like ‘A’ are in this industry if you’re going to treat people this way, especially when every time I go there I see many elderly. It breaks my heart thinking they are probably also treated this way when they need help. This is not the first poor review on the receptionists behalf, something needs to be done.

I was bought up to believe you go to the doctor when you are sick so when I rang and asked for an appointment and told she couldn't find me a very nasty receptionists said you haven't been here for 4 years so where have you been going well that is none of her business people like me who only need the doctor when they are sick and get treated like that by the receptionists end up going to the hospital emergency and that is something the government is asking us not to do I cant understand why she is aloud to speak to people like that there are people I know tell me they stopped going there because of her and they still let her speak to everyone like it I wont ever go back there

I have been a patient here for many years, I usually see 1 or 2 main Dr's but on many occasions I have seen other Dr's and have to say they have ALL been great and the receptionist's & Nurses have always been wonderful, maybe some of the other reviewers on here caught them when they were very busy/stressed or just a personality clash ??? but in my experience they are usually kind and courteous. I usually can get in to see a Dr quite quickly unless you want to see a specific Dr then it depends on their particular appointments. The Dr's are thorough and happy to help in any way possible. Thank you for all your care guys .

My Mum has ben a patient there for over 25 years,most of the Dr.'s are good,it's the receptionists that I have an issue with,one in particular,whose name begins with an 'A' she is extremely rude & ignorant & has a penchant for hanging up on you mid sentence,I think her position should be terminated,she is just downright rude & has no business working there.If we encounter one more incident with her,a formal complaint will be made,her juvenile attitude reflects poorly on the Dr.s & the practice as a whole

The receptionist overcharged me for my doctors appointment, nfortunatly I didn't realise until I had paid, when I told here she canceled the claim refund and said I don't know how to fix this, we will just not charge you next time. That's not good enough I am on a pension, and that money was for my medication, I guess I will have to go without the medication now. Perhaps if you where paying attention to your job and not carring on about your cat this would not have happend!!.

On Saturday (29/6/19) Our 2 month had come up with rash, we tried calling and calling at 9am when they state they are open, no answer. Finally went down there and found them to be closed, doors locked no lights on, no note to say why. Very disappointing. Went else where and got in, would not recommend!

Can't say much about the GPs as I didn't get that far, wanted to find my son a regular GP but receptionist was extremely rude so I'd rather not support this clinic especially given so many similar bad reviews and seemingly not wanting to make any changes despite this. Dodged a bullet here I think.

The doctors are great, nil issues there at all. The big problem i have is the rude (certain) receptionist, i hear how she speaks to the elderly patients and myself, which is not on! very rude and abrupt, no people skills at all. I hate attending the doctors knowning she is behind the desk …

Have been at this surgery since 1985, the doctors have always been professional and nice however I too have an issue with two of the receptionists which have been previously mention, I have made written complaints. I wish they had online bookings so I didn't have to deal with these two people.

A friendly doctors surgery. Easy to book appointments over the phone and flexible to changing dates. My doctor, MM, has a friendly professional approach, is interested & always listens. The nurses are friendly and professional if a little short on space. Never had a problem. A happy customer.

Anytime i call needing a same day appointment to urgently see my gp they are booked. Its not urgent enough to go to emergency to use their resources. Keep appointments free for people who need same day. Not coming back to Floreat until they sort out their reception and booking issues.

Few times now turned up to appointments made wrong.made appointment 2 weeks ago went in said Dr and time.waited someone else goes in.if didn't ask still be waiting.sorry does not make right .very upset.realise office issue not drs but not good enough..too often.very poor..

Booked an appointment over a week in advance, only for them to cancel my appointment mere hours before I was due to attend. Absolutely atrocious business practice. Do not recommend you attend here as they clearly don't care about their patients or their needs.

I have been going to Floreat Surgery for many, many years. The doctors are fantastic, especially Chris and Elaine. The receptionists always try to help if they can and the nurse is lovely. The carparking is nice as easy as well, which is always a great thing.

I have been attending here for many years and have found the Doctors very caring and thorough. Some of the receptionist over the years have been abrupt, some are pleasant. I would recommend the doctors for general health care and women's health care.

I got told I wasn't allowed in the doctors surgery, because I wasn't wearing a mask. I've got a medical exemption and they still told me I had to put a mask on. So I had to sit outside until my appointment. I'm not happy …

Doctors always treat you well and actually listen, always nice to be able to see a female when you need to even though you may need to wait a day or two. Would be nice if they had the ability to book in online but they don't as yet.

A few negative comments about (A) personally I think she's professional, she's not there to be your friend, she's there to book U in. She's very helpful, in the past she's really the one that's gone above and beyond to help

Most of the doctors are good. The receptionists, particularly A and D are so rude. Don’t even want to go when they are there. Tried to ring this morning for ages....never had the message to ring back later.

I am a disability pensioner with a chronic illness requiring frequent doctors visits and cannot afford this place if there is no bulk billing. I will end up having to go to another doctor that bulk bills

My mother has been a long standing patient here and always greeted by the lovely front desk staff and great doc . We always feel welcome and accomodated by all staff

Been attending Floreat Surgery all my life and now take my kids there. Everyone is friendly, great GP's and never had a problem getting an appointment when needed.

Super rude receptionist wouldn't help me at all when I called up trying to make an appointment basically said they're busy and I should stick to my old doctor

Doctors and nurses are great. Very thorough. Waiting times are good but I have always found the receptionist is rather rude and abrupt.

Good service, but long wait for nurse and doctor,but this was a small price to pay for through examination by nurse and doctor.
