Went to the deli at Saints Foodland today and bought a hot Inghams Chinese barbecue wing from the deli section. Took it outside to eat. Couldn’t actually bite into it properly, looked at it further and found there was hardly any white meat, and what there was, was raw chicken & blood throughout the piece chicken, its self. Spoke to the deli manager & asked to speak to the store manager. Store manager not available. He would call me back. They gave me a refund for the piece of chicken that I bought. However, I tried to alert the deli manager that it wasn’t good actually eating raw chicken. The store manager rang back approx an hour later and said there’s sometimes a little bit of blood around the bone of a chicken. I said if you investigated properly and looked at the chicken the blood was actually was in the chicken meat, yes there was blood near the bone, but there was also blood in the actual chicken part plus it was raw as well up the top near the skin. Store manager said they follow procedure and would speak to the deli manager. He said what they could do for me, is give me a whole chicken in place of the piece of chicken that wasn’t any good. I said are you serious? I’ve just had a bad piece of chicken, raw chicken with blood in it, and you want to give me a whole chicken. I found this to be rather insulting and towards the end of our conversations. He says have “a good day” it’s very annoying that they don’t take your complaint seriously and just fob you off with “Have a good day”or “have a nice day” that is not the right attitude towards a customer when they have just had a bad experience. Saint Foodland customers make sure you check your hot meat to ensure it is cooked. Also the so called chicken wings are actually little drum sticks. Labelling needs to be reviewed.

This is my favourite grocery store around my area for so many reasons: > Their range of cheese is nothing like you’ll find nearby > The deli section has so many meats and warm food items > A wide vegan / health foods selection > Fruit is always super fresh and usually sourced from the best (Betty’s Blues ) > Amazing bakery that makes the best bread that is super soft and has a great texture > There is an, albeit limited, international foods section > A lollies / snack corner that is paid by weight so you can pick exactly what you want and how much Whether it’s a pro or con to you, all checkouts are staffed with an express lane section. I think it’s a refreshing change from the large grocery stores that do self-checkout but then have constant issues with them or attach cameras It is also a part of a great complex with Saints Kitchen, but is also in a great location with plenty of parking

I have loved Saints Foodland since it’s opening. As I’m in my 70s you can imagine I’ve had many shopping experiences. Saints Foodland has friendly, helpful staff, super range of products, competitive prices and a wonderful family atmosphere. My biggest CONGRATULATIONS go to the in-house Bakery. (The only in house Foodland bakery left.) All bakery is delicious, low priced, fresh daily and a large range. Their cafe offers low priced yummies and a comfortable space to enjoy them. I’ve never seen such large, creamy, decorative donuts. I challenge you to walk past without purchasing! Thank you again Saints Foodland, you make shopping enjoyable.

Amazing fresh new store with a wide range of products both local and imported. Love the exposed roof and the neon signs which made the store look extremely modern and fun. The staff are friendly and always willing to help and the service is fast. The cafe at the back in the bakery has a delicious range of sweet and savoury options to suit everyone’s cravings. There is also nothing better than the smell of fresh popped popcorn in the air while doing our shop. We will always come back for my weekly shop!

Girls in the bakery rude and unwilling to serve customers. 3 of them in the back chatting looking at us while another one makes a sandwich stood there for 5 minutes then we asked to buy two doughnuts and as the girl was packaging them we were told by the other girl we can't buy one of them because it's already been sold to another customer who wasn't there ... So wasted our time for nothing.

Today I experienced shopping at Saints Road store. The selection of so many yummy foods at a reasonable price. I would also like to express my appreciation to the staff (cold meat section) who knew what they are selling and were able to recommend when a certain taste or flavour was sought. I went home with all the ingredients and flavours I wanted.

Although the Management are friendly and polite, one of the service managers was quite rude. After hearing good feedback, this was disappointing. Many locals comment on the high pricing of items. It seems to be more of a convenience shop. I will note they have a large range of cheeses. Wheelchair access ♿ and parking is available.

Can't rate this store highly enough. I've never seen so many varieties of cheeses and small goods. The deli section is mind blowingly large. Fantastic range of meats. The prices were very good. Aisles were larger than most stores. The store is very clean and tidy. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Love this foodland, so many varieties of everything to choose from, great specials always drop in for couple items come out with trolley load as have picked up amazing specials, plus they always, really always have checkouts open, with real people serving you, love the customer service at this store

Great food variety. Huge cheese section. Fruit and veg lasts for ages. Good deli section; even bought cooked pork belly with perfect crackling. No long queues at checkouts. Sadly, no home delivery service. As I don't drive, it can be difficult to get goods home.

Very good variety of products, the bakery section has some amazing products ,whilst it is a little bit more expensive the range of products store wide makes it a very enjoyable shopping experience .This store is very well set out n definitely worth visiting

The lovely staff at Foodland were so helpful and they picked up my son's toy which he had left behind. I sent in a query and within 10 minutes got a lovely phone call to say that they had it. Thank you again. Also the shop is great and lots of stock

This Foodland is fantastic. It has an amazing range. The fresh produce is fresh. The place was clean. The bakery has pretzels, giant donuts and pizzas. All human checkout staff, which is great. I enjoyed this grocery shop, I was surprised.

This little gem has an absolutely fantastic range of charcuterie items, including my favourite cheese in the world from France that I usually get from gourmet stores. There are many excellent things about this supermarket.

Foodland Saints is second to none. Excellent shopping experience as the staff are most helpful and very friendly. Terrific selection of groceries and the freshest fruit and veg. Brilliant cheese selection too!

Love this foodland nice wide aisles, great fresh fruit and veg range. Huge deli counter and staff are always helpful and polite in all departments. Great range of gluten-free foods to pick from as well!!

This place makes coles and Woolworths look like amateurs! Awesome shop, great staff an exceptional deli with all types of small goods, cheese etc etc(The deli staff are amazing) hats off to Saints.

Everything seem's really stocked, big deli, butcher and bakery. Though the asile layout is weird. Staff were friendly and the checkout lines were pretty quick.

Outstanding. Come here for the weekly shop and consistently Georgina impresses with her ability to guess the total price of the shop. 10/10 would recommend.

Always a great place to shop. Clean and tidy. Foodland is the best around. A good size eating area for a coffee and a snack. Also good quility take aways.

Great little centre our local, Foodland as well as specialty shops, Medical Centre. Parking can get busy, Disability parking available at both entrances.

Though a great place to shop with some of the best produce and products its expensive, you are way better to go to small businesses or shop around

Always clean and well stocked. Prices consistently tend to be a little more than some other retailers so time your purchases and you're set.
