I am so pleased with my experience at Foot Traffic and the level of service and attention I was given is totally unmatched! I originally came to the NE location to pick up my bib for the Bridge to Brews race; when there, I began looking at shoe options as I needed a new pair of running shoes and they were offering 10% off to race participants. They were so helpful and when they didn't have one of the shoes I wanted to try on in my size, they sent for it to arrive at the downtown location as that was the more convenient location for me to attend. They called me promply when my shoe had arrived and I arrived at the downtown location to receive such an overwhelming level of expertise and attention I couldn't believe it. The girl there grabbed at least a dozen pairs of shoes for me to try on, and when I mentioned i used super feet she even swapped out the insoles for me in every single pair so I could feel them with the insoles of choice. She then had me run in every single pair and watched my stride and gave her recommendations. I left with a pair of Asics Kayanos; unfortunately, on my first run in them I experienced shin pain which I had never had before. I put my old shoes back on and didn't experience the pain so I figured it must be something with the new shoe. I called them and they said I should return to the store and they'd be happy to exchange them for me. I came back to the downtown location and we determined that while my stride looked good in the shoe, it was possible that because I had been running on used shoes for so long that I was just not used to such a high level of structure; so we found a pair of Brooks that had a little less rigidity and I fell in love! She exchanged the shoes for me and I was able to use the store credit (as the new shoes were significantly cheaper) to buy a new pair of superfeet insoles - she even recommended to me that I could buy a larger pair of insoles and just trace them with the sole of the shoe and cut them to the exact size I needed, which worked great! I'm now several runs into my new Brooks shoes and it's like running on air. I have zero pain when I run and I love how they feel! Thank you Foot Traffic for you knowledge and attention and making sure I got the right shoe and was happy with it!

Stopped in before the Shamrock Run - was quickly helped by competent staff. I was dealing with foot pain for several weeks and had sought previous advise from another running store which was vague and didn't help me much. The guy at Foot Traffic was able to describe in detail what he thought was causing my pain, and fit me for an orthotic he thought might help in a matter of minutes. It made my running experience that morning much better than anticipated and I'm hopeful it will continue to help. I will definitely be returning and buying my next pair of shoes here!

Downtown is trying to rise above the recent chaos. I spent an afternoon there and was pleasantly surprised to see people enjoying the day. I stopped and talked with several people while there. All in all, relaxed, peaceful and calm. Took some time to view the murals that have popped up around pioneer square. Regardless of your opinions on current political and social trends, the artwork is beautiful to view. I'm hoping more people return to reclaim their city with love, peace and hope. Hate, violence and destruction have no place in our community.

I received very thorough help picking out a new pair of shoes. Was able to try a number of pairs on, run around the store, and whittle it down to the perfect pair based on my observations from each one. The gentleman who assisted me was very knowledgeable of the shoes and footbeds they had in stock and fine tuned the fit by watching me run and listening carefully to what I had to say after each pair. Cannot recommend this shop and its customer service enough.

Very helpful staff, I came in twice in one week as the first pair I was fitted for didn't quite work. The return policy allowed me to exchange the shoes for a different pair that will work better. The worker on hand both times was kind and friendly and impressively knowledgeable. It was an excellent experience and I will be coming back! Also love the Another Mother Runner podcast t-shirts :D.

Went in for some insoles and was helped by Karina(spelling might be wrong). She was very helpful and asked questions about what I was looking for and issues I was currently having. We went through many different insoles with me testing with walking in store and taking a quick run outside. Very satisfied with her knowledge and willingness to help.

I came in to get ideas about new walking shoes and Katherine was amazing! She explained how the shoes she chose would help with my health concerns, incredibly friendly, and handle the traffic of people coming in like a champ while still helping me. I left with more knowledge and resources for my goals thanks to her.

Lee was awesome! Helped me find a great shoe and was patient with Me trying on a bunch of pairs! Denzil was also there didn’t personally help me out with shoes but was very approachable and helpful with their stores running events. Really great store. Makes sense they have no bad reviews!

These guys are awesome. Came in with an hour left till close needing new shoes. Extremely competent and knowledgeable staff member (the only one there, it was a Tuesday night) handled me and five other customers with seeming ease. Got my shoes before close. Come here for running shoes.

I always stop by Foot Traffic when in Portland. This store has everything you need as a runner. Great selection of clothing! It's great to be in towns that have stores that cater to runners. I appreciate the staff who can help you out from their experiences!

It's always a pleasure walking around downtown Portland even when the weather isn't as great. I would absolutely recommend to just be super aware of cars while crossing the streets and as a pedestrian to be mindful
