We were lucky enough to be gifted a groupon for our 49th & 50th birthdays to the Forget Me Not Cottage - Water Room in Warburton. Initially I had trouble getting in contact to book via phone, sms and email, as I was not receiving a response. Then when I finally did, I was told that yes, my accommodation expired 31st March 2024, but there was a black out period from mid Oct to 1st April, so this meant our accommodation with an expiry date of 1 year, was now 7 months, AND as it was end of Sept, we had but 2 weeks to use it before we lose it. So we booked a weekend, as neither of us could get time off work at such short notice, and were told there was a surcharge of $50 per night to book on the weekend. Neither of these things were on the booking, or the advert. I asked about the key, as we would be arriving late and was told an automatic email would be sent the morning if the first night, surprisingly, we didn't receive one, but when i called the number, was answered right away, and the code provided. So we arrive at the beautiful Warburton, to our destination, which was very easy to find - first tick in a long line of crosses. I Sms the number on the way there, just in case the address was different in the advertisement as others things were, we received a response immediately -tick, and that's where the ticks end. The cottage was dirty and very very dusty, with cobwebs hanging from the ceiling and more than 4 globes not working (bear in mind, it's a studio apartment set up, one room with bed, lounge and kitchen, and then a separate bathroom there arnt that many lights). The linen felt clean, but was cheap, and the towels same. The fireplace made a whining noise when you used the fan, and the kitchen utensils had seen better days. The bathroom sink was falling apart, and quality of soap and shampoo/ conditioner was poor. The decor was confusing, named the water room, decor had an Egyptian flavour and was a bit tacky. The door on to the patio was blocked off by the couch. The BBQ was filthy. The wine and slippers were missing, breakfast included in the stay was a DYI of Bacon, eggs, bread, and get this, 2 Hash browns for 2 people two nights?? A nice touch was the juice boxes in the fridge. This was a $900 for two night stay. We could have stayed at the crown, had breakfast made for us, and still had change. Overall very poor effort, not indicative of the price at all. Be wary to stay here, as an asthmatic, it was musty, smelly and very dusty. I would not expect the owner to respond to my review as they have not responded to any negative or positive reviews.

My wife and I stayed at Forget Me Not Cottages for our 1 year anniversary and I will start by saying that it was a lovely place. The pros: Very well appointed The room was beautiful Good attention to detail (in the room) Beautiful location Warburton in general is a hidden gem. It's a stunning spot and having been there, I can't believe I hadn't been there before. The cons: We booked the "Suite with king sized bed" online. The only room at Forget Me Not with a king sized bed is the Music Room (all the others have queen sized beds). All pictures on the webpage were of the Music Room and our booking confirmation contained only those pictures. It turned out that Forget Me Not had double booked the room and we were told that we had to take another room, because the other booker had paid a higher price. When we got a call about it just before our booking, I was initially told (before pushing the point) that it was my misunderstanding and that I was welcome to cancel. I don't know what else I could have booked 35 minutes before check-in. When I pressed the point there was still no acknowledgement that I had been inconvenienced, although the manager did apologise and leave a bottle of wine in our room, which was a nice touch. The morning after when we were packed and just about to leave, the cleaner arrived at our door. She was very frustrated with us and told me that people like us make it hard to do her job, because we should have left already. She told me that we had inconvenienced her because she was forced to wait. She stormed off, frustrated, to see if the people in the next room were similarly disorganised. I apologised before she left (although she was rude), thinking that we must have lost track of time. I then checked the time to see that it was still ten minutes before check out time and we walked out the door to leave (on time), which was the plan all along. We then met one of our room neighbours in the car park who told us that he had been kicked out of his room fifteen minutes before check out by the same cleaner, in a similarly frustrated state. It really took away from what was a beautiful bed and breakfast in a beautiful place. I think that Forget Me Not Cottages could be an absolute gem and an unforgettable experience, but management and staff need to become more organised.

AVOID this place. Spend your money somewhere else! I faced so many problems during my two night stay that I cannot believe this place has such good reviews. BBQ was DISGUSTING. Looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. Also the gas to the bbq was still on when we got there – no one had turned it off. Dangerous. The spa/hottub was filthy. I told the owner about this and she said it’s an outdoor spa, so it will have dirt in it. I spent half an hour cleaning the hot tub myself and made it clean – proof that it doesn’t matter that its outdoors, it can still be cleaned to an appropriate level. There’s also a covering – so nothing should get in it when it’s on. There was an old gross bandaid stuck on the floor. The Air-con was broken. This was a nightmare. It was 30 degrees every day and it made it impossible to stay inside. They hired an electrician to come and look at the unit – which meant we had to stay at the cottage until they got there. We wasted TWO AND A HALF HOURS of our holiday so that Forget me Not could get their air-con looked at. The electrician then left and said ‘it would need replacing’ – we figured this was the end of it, and that we’d just have to put up with being hot BUT we were wrong. The very next day, without warning, without notice, whilst my gf was in the shower and I was in the hot tub wearing not a lot, another electrician turns up. We were caught completely unaware and our privacy was badly invaded. No body told us he was coming! So then our peaceful morning of checking out and relaxing was ruined. Completely unprofessional. We paid a lot of money to stay here and spent a total of over 4 hours with electricians. A ruined getaway. The cleaner did come and clean the BBQ when we bought it up with the owner, and the cleaner was very nice, but unfortunately that doesn’t make up for how horrible everything else was. Minor issues: no toothpaste provided. 3 bottles of shampoo but no conditioner. No wifi. Wine provided on arrival is $3 Aldi wine – not what you expect when spending $3-400 per night. how the hell is this place 5 stars? completely unsatisfactory.

We stayed in the Water room for the past two nights. For the amount of money we paid i was disgusted. The room is tiny, no where to put belongings except on a filthy stone floor which claimed to be heated but was not. The bed was not Queen as advertised but a very uncomfortable double for my 6'2 husband. The rooms were covered in cobwebs and dust. Furnishings old, worn & dusty. The bathroom fan is thick with dust making the rooms smell like burning dust. We washed spa before we used it, flushing out jets but were still stting among clumps of slimy matter. Bath towels are cheap and well worn. Long life milk was 3 months past use by. I spent 2nd day feeling very unwell. Utensils, frypan etc had seen better days. Everything old and worn Apart from a waterfall outside the room is actually decorated in a very tacky egyptian theme. Not sure who gave this place a 5 star rating but its way off the mark. Do yourself a favour and give this place a miss. I can think of better ways to spend over $600.00

Absolute Bliss. I arrived to stay at the Green Room, they had text me earlier and the key was in the lockbox. I went to escape after Covid and just have a weekend to myself. It was amazing! I didn't see a single person whilst I was there. It's very secluded with stunning scenery. Especially in the private court yard with the Spa. Hot or cold. Although it was warm I still like my spa to be a bit warm in the day. At night it cooled down and having a spa in the evening under the Starr's whilst it was raining was absolute bliss. The property is amazing. I can't even see the other cabins. Decor just as in the photos and beautiful. They left me too much chocolate, it was delicious as well as a bottle of wine. I was not expecting that. Nor was I expecting to be allowed to smoke at. Obviously not inside the cottage. However there was a lovely under cover area with 2 chairs directly outside our cottage in which I was allowed to smoke. Something hard to find these days! They had a split system, DVD player. Only downside is I couldn't get Netflix to work. I thi l it was meant to be, I read a whole book an then watched Ghostbusters on their blu ray player. They had a selection of DVD's, books and Board Games. You could also plug your own hardrive/USB into the TV. Breakfast in the fridge so I could make it myself at my leisure. Eggs, bacon, fresh bread, spreads, butter, hash browns and Juice. Along with a big range of instant coffee and pod coffee with fortunately for me Vittoria Coffee. They also had robes ( I say dressing gowns ) toaster, kettle, microwave, stovetop. Bathroom, shampoo l, conditioner, soap, body wash. A fantastic getaway alone or as a couple. I've already made my next booking. They also had a ceiling fan, what more could you ask for. I'll definitely be going minimum one a year for 2 nights from now on.

I booked a night at Forget Me Not Cottages in the Music room for my wife and I to celebrate our wedding anniversary, at the time, we could only manage 1 night away because of babysitting issues, however we certainly made the most of it. Arriving in the afternoon to find the beautiful music room, with the radio on SmoothFM and the cottage full of instruments, it was delightful. Took us an hour or so just checking the cottage out!! We then found that the spa was hot and ready to go (thanks Stephen!) - not needing further invitation we jumped in with a glass of bubbly - it was heaven, warm spa, cold drink, nibbles - could have stayed there all night (but glad we didn't)! We walked to Little Joe for a quick bite to eat (would have been easier if the bridge wasn't closed for repairs, however it added to the romantic fun, strolling along the river, hand in hand like schoolkids!). Back to the room after dinner with a bottle of red, we lit the fire and sat on the rug in front of it by candlelight, chatting, reconnecting and enjoying each others company with the music playing in the background, no need for the TV or movies tonight, talked our way into the early hours of the morning. The bed was very comfortable, and we both had a great nights sleep. In the morning breakfast was in the fridge ready for cooking which was easy done, unfortunately we didn't have time for another spa, although we hope to be back for the weekend soon! Thanks Stephen for a Forget Me Not night, it felt like we had been away for a week when we left the next morning, back to reality!!

DIRTY, DUSTY, AND NOT WORTH THE MONEY. We stayed in the water garden room, and unfortunately, the only reason I can see that others have put up a high star rating is for the waterfall in the garden. Our room was very dusty, and had cobwebs throughout the inside. The couch was dusty, and felt gritty to sit on. Everything just felt dusty, and dirty. Holes in the fly screen meant we needed to keep the door closed, or suffer flies and mozzies - very unfortunate when there is a beautiful waterfall just outside the door. Dirty soap was left in the shower. A packet of someone else’s lube in the bedside drawer. The fridge did not work correctly, so our breakfast (eggs, bacon, milk, juice) was spoiled before we could use it. The bbq was filthy, with wires somewhat exposed at the back (the owner/manager did come when we notify them of this to fix the bbq issue, and change the bbq plates over, but honestly, they were not much better). The wine, fruit, and chocolates were a nice touch, but the fruit was all overripe. The grounds around the cottages are overgrown, with hard rubbish throughout, not making for very nice scenery. We would have liked to made this place a regular getaway accommodation, and try out the other rooms, but after our initial experience, we won’t be returning.

We stayed at the Music room cottage for 2 nights recently and although we appreciated the interiors, the beautiful mountain view from the cottage and the cleanliness inside, this cottage from the outside had a slightly abandoned look, which made us a little uncomfortable. With cobwebs all around the place, especially the spa area and surprisingly one right above the bed inside the cottage. The rose bushes and other plants around the porch area did not seem to be well maintained as well. And whilst our stay, there were two separate occasions, when random strangers walked up to the cottage presumably to check it out and trespassed the property deck and spa area to get to the other side - this was probably because they assumed that no one lived in the cottage. Another minor issue was that the doors of the cottage did not have a latch. If we wanted to latch the door from inside (at night) we had to lock it from inside using the key provided. To add to this, the lock often got stuck and it took us few attempts to unlock the door. That said, the property management was reachable (via phone) and very helpful even after hours during our stay. Overall it was a good experience.

Stayed with a voucher. Stayed in Rose Cottage. I didn't look closely at the confirmation email and when we got there we had booked for the following day. The owner came over and although no English was spoken they changed the booking for us. The Rose Cottage was a delight. Parking right in front of the cottage which has a high fence on the sides that have the chance to be over looked. A view into the woods through the private garden from the veranda makes you feel you are away from the throng of the city, but a short walk of 500m down a steep slope gets you to Warburton. This cottage costs a little extra but we decided it was worth it. The hot tub in the garden was heavenly as we turned of all the lights and watched the stars while sipping a bottle of bubbly. The bed was comfortable and the cottage is decorated with little bits and gets away from the sterile, jelly mold feeling of most hotels. Pod coffee machine and a breakfast of bacon, eggs, hash browns, and toast certainly made a lazy start to the day and it was still warm enough to sit on the veranda to eat it watching the birds flit around the garden. The cottage was clean and plenty of hot water in the shower.

Last night my partner and I stayed in the Winter Room in Warburton to celebrate my partner 60th birthday and I wanted to be very special. Warburton is a very special place beautiful mountains and a Yarra River going through the town. The reason I picked this accommodation that we were staying in a bed and breakfast place well to me it DID NOT meet my expectations, I was very disappointed. I felt I stayed in hotel, there was no personal touches at all. The place was clean but I expected a better breakfast then bacon and eggs and I didn’t think we had to cook our selfs, that I was not impressive. The surrounding was beautiful but the upkeep of the place is not up to standards for the money I paid for. I found the information on the website has not met the what was not was advertised. I found the bed uncomfortable for two people, there was no slippers as said in the folder booklet in the room. I do not recommend this place until it’s up to standards as advised as Bed and Breakfast accomodation it was not value for money. Very disappointed

My absolute favourite place to stay in Victoria. This is my 2nd stay ( I also stayed in Nov 2021) in the Green Room and it was absolutely fantastic! I love the outdoor heated spa. The green rooms spa is not undercover which was great when it’s sunny and hot: however they did have giant umbrellas I used to stay in the spa for another hour when it rained. The view is gorgeous, even the drive is beautiful. A bottle of red wine and chocolates was in my room for me on arrival. The room is so beautiful and cosy. I couldn’t connect to Netflix so I’m not sure if they have Wi-fi or it was just because of the bad weather. They did have the app but it just kept saying we can’t connect to the network ‍♀️ They did have a DVD player and about 40 DVD’s to choose from and lots of books to read. Everything for breakfast was there. Bacon, eggs, bread, jams, juice, milk, hash browns. It was delicious. I’m looking forward to my next stay in The Music Room

My partner & I stayed at the Forget Me Not Cottages a few years ago. We stayed in the rose cottage. From the moment we pulled into the complex all our stress and worries where lifted off our shoulders. The cottage was like a fairy tail. Roses surrounded the entry gate. A beautiful stream ran through the back of the cottage. Upon entry the smell of the cottage was of scented roses. Every little detail was thought of by the staff. From having a beautiful local produce basket of fruits, vegetables, meats, wine & snacks which was more than enough for the entire weekend. We had an in ground Jacuzzi in the back yard which was perfect for a soak. The masseuse came to our cottage the following day providing us with relaxing massages. Movies, music and board games are all included in our package. The weekend flew by and before we knew it we had to go home :(. I would highly recommend the Forget Me Not Cottages for anyone wanting a romantic weekend away!

We stayed in the water garden room and in thier website they mentioned it comes with 3 queen beds and in different rooms and description says entire cottage is for us but after reaching there we found out that whats in the description is not same as what they provided. We were only given 1 bed and that too it is very small probably a twin bed and the room is so tiny. Totally unexpected and misleading. Infact the room was also very unclean and the sofa looked very old and dirty, probably looked like it was brought from second hand furniture market. We also saw some spiders behind our bed! I dont think as thier website mentions it is a 5 star hotel , for the same amount we paid we could have happily stayed in the motel ehich would have been much cleaner and with better facilities.total waste of money!

We stayed 9yrs ago and it was amazing. The personal touches 2nd to none. Local wines and cheeses. We returned this week for our 20th wedding Anniversary and although nice, not even close to what it used to be. The attention to detail of the previous owners is gone completely. Breakfast provisions were good but the bottle of wine was not even local. There was barely enough wood for our stay and the switch on the spa didn't work. When we phoned about it we were told 'Oh you have to go around the back and switch the pump on here.' Heaven forbid you should just maintain the spa. The split system was noisy and clearly hasn't been serviced for some time and the grounds have just been let go. So disappointed that a place that is so beautiful has been let go to this extent and the local produce is no longer showcased as it once was.

Terrible experience! Booked over the New Years period using a Groupon voucher and stayed in the Water Room. My partner woke up on the first morning with several bites. After returning home late on the 2nd day we noticed the entire roof was covered in spider webs and eggs. Unable to stay in the room we returned home early and contacted Forget Me Not Cottages customer service. The woman we spoke to was dismissive and rude. At one point she indicated she didn't know what spiders were and made me spell the word out to her. I sent an email to the customer service team with photos of the roof, webs and eggs with no response. Thankfully Groupon refunded me the price of the coupon. I hope they fumigate the property, if they took better care this would be an amazing place to stay.

We first stayed at Forget me Not way back in 2008. Michele and I only started seeing each other. When we decided we wanted to marry each other, we booked the Music Room one weekend (16th-18th November 2013) and had a small convoy hike from Melbourne and join us by the riverside for a small, but happy, celebration. It rained for a week either side of the 17th November 2013, but that morning, the heavens opened and we were bathed in glorious sunlight all morning for what was a lovely day and a lovely weekend at Forget Me Not Cottages. Only happy memories in Warburton and especially at Forget Me Not - fantastic service, fantastic rooms and beauty as far as the eye can see. Joe

This was certainy one of the most romantic getaways that my partner and I have been to. We were looking for something not to far from the city but wanted something private and hidden away.....we couldn't have asked for better than 'Forget me not Cottages'. We had planned on heading out for dinner but we loved the cottage so much we didn't want to leave so we ended up cooking dinner in the kitchen in our cottage....perfect! My favourite part of the weekend was realxing in the outdoor spa, listening to the wildlife and the creek running behind our cottage. I couldn't fault anything about our weekend, thankyou for making it so perfect! I hope to visit again very soon!

My husband and I stayed in the Music Room in early June 2015 for some time away without the kiddies. I have wanted to stay at Forget Me Not since I can remember and am so glad we finally did it. Although it is expensive it is so worth every penny. This is a must do for couples as a special little break to re connect. The best is you are not disturbed and there is no need as everything you need is here. We picked the Music Room because it is self contained so we could prepare our own meals and just leave the world behind. The fire was burning, lights dimmed, spa heated ready to go and soft music playing on arrival. Thanks Stephen for your wonderful service xx

I really wanted to give this place 5 stars. However I couldn't quite get it across the line. The room was lovely, they had music upon arrival and a decanter of Port. However the spa was very chlorinated, to the point where we could not stay in it very long. I understand this is probably out of the owners control and don't want to seem picky but it did kind of defeat the purpose of having the spa. The area itself was lovely, the best was super comfortable and the heating was great too. Would recommend to people who are looking for a romantic getaway without distractions.

My wife and I had a good stay for a couple of nights at Forget Me Not cottage (FMN) to celebrate a special occasion. Everything was ok and met our expectation. We would recommend this place to those who wish to have a quiet place to stay for a couple of days. We enjoyed a walk to La La Falls (a short drive from FMN, then a 1.6km walk to the falls). The Rainforest Gallery is also a good place to visit. It's about 8km from FMN. Just a short walk from the parking area and you'll be in a middle of the forest. You'll experience the calmness of the rainforest and the sound of water from the waterfall - an ideal place on your own to reflect.

Upon reaching there they gave us wrong pin to get keys out of key box, 2 hours later after emailing and calling them they got back to us, I told them the pin WONT OPEN KEY BOX , she laughed and said that’s not even a pin code for any of cottages here, told me don’t know how we got that pin as email is generated, finally got in place was very small for the price I would not recommend, very disappointed as checked in late because of fault of there own early checkout $400 later pftt A BIG WASTE! I’m confused as to how this cottage has got any great reviews !

We stayed in the Music Room which was wonderfully cosy in a beautiful location. Sadly due to COVID-19 restrictions we were unable to use the hot tub which was a shame (no fault of the owners) as the scenery was perfect. Warburton is a lovely small town and certainly worth a visit. My only gripe was on the morning we were due to check out there was a man cutting down trees adjacent to the property which not only was noise pollution in an otherwise tranquil spot, but also took away the feeling of total privacy - if I could see him, he could surely see me.

Nice location, needs a little tidy up with maintenance such as toilet seat wouldn't stand up (very inconvenient for a guy at night!), could have used fire lighters and red gum instead of hard to start white gum and newspapers in the old canara. Reverse cycle air con alone is not enough to warm the place on a freezing night. Look out for ants if you stay in the Green Room and leave a drink out! We got swarmed. Mattress was also over-used and sunken in the middle and made us sleep on top of each other! First world problems though. Spa was great and overall had a really good stay but not sure if I'd choose that place again.

I am currently staying at Rose Cottage and wow!! I'm outside having my cuppa in the courtyard listening to the birds and the breeze through the trees. The bed was super comfy. The decor is funky and eclectic. The outdoor spa last night under the stars was magical. Kelly has been incredibly helpful and made the booking and check in process super easy! If you want to relaxation from the second you arrive then look no further than these cottages. You will not be disappointed!!! We've found our little mini getaway spot!

Basically comfortable enough. Green Cottage is very basic bed was incredibly comfortable and privacy is fabulous. Glad there were great eateries in town as cooking is a challenge. Breakfast provisions were fabulous but had to plug the toaster in the bathroom due to placement of the two burner stove top. Instructions for getting the key need a little expanding. . When you have put the code in the grey section of the box tilts out from the top. Not sure if I would pay full price for this cottage - we had a discount - but it is a nice place and incredibly warm.

My partner and I had ana amazing time here... I had read mixed reviews about the place before going so I was a bit apprehensive about the place but I could not fault anything there. We spent the weekend in the green room. It was amazing, the spa was perfect. There were clear instructions on how to use the spa and it worked the whole time we were there. Beautiful peaceful, quiet weekend. There isn't much to do in the area but all the same it was a very relaxing weekend. We will def be back to stay here and will recommend to friends for a weekend away.

My husband and I are often told that we are on a permanent honeymoon. We have six children between us, we both travel extensively for our jobs and when we get time together we love to sneak away for a romantic weekend. Forget Me Not Cottage was a perfect, location for us. We felt very relaxed in the music room, (there was even enough space for us to have a dance), and the spa on the deck was a great way to wind down with a glass of bubbles. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone who wants to have that special moment with their loved ones.

  • Wade Murray

We stayed in the water room. Cute spot, decor was pleasant. However, Spider webs all over the ceiling, black mold in the spa room, Spa was dirty and we had to clean residue off from previous users. had to stuff tissues into the holes in the wooden roof located directly above the bed as we were concerned about potential video recorders, had a workman hammering the roof at 8:30am. And the bed frames had caked on dust. Incredibly disappointed and will never book again.

The location and privacy of the Roase cottage is great but that is the end of the postivies. The accommodation has seen far better days, the bathroom is old and not kept very clean; black mould in the grouting and seals. The spa doesn't heat up well and is not maintained. The bedroom needs an upgrade although the bed itself was quite comfortable. All in all, an OK place but not worth the dollars that they are asking. And if you complain, don't expect a reply.

Since discovering Forget Me Not Cottages when beginning a new relationship five years ago, it has become one of the most special places in my life. We have returned to stay there in almost every different themed cottage at least once, if not twice a year. Each stay has been a five star experience with superb atmosphere, ambience, amenities, friendliness of the owners and presentation and cleanliness appreciated each time. I congratulate Forget Me Not Cottages for providing peace, serenity, comfort and luxury to each and every guest.

This place was everything I dreamed it would be, I have stayed there a few times and simply cant rave on enough about how wonderful it is. The cottages are so private, inviting, romantic, beautifully decorated and peaceful. Add to that the hot tubs, once again totally private and intoxicating!! The hosts were wonderful and welcoming. I simply cannot recommend Forget Me Not Cottages enough to anybody wanting a romantic weekend, or simply a place to unwind. Would rate is 20 out of 10!!! I cant WAIT to go back.

Mystical, tranquil, magic & amazing. For 2 wonderful nights the Music room brought us more than a getaway! The service and presentation was honestly AMAZING. The cheese platter was yummy and the spa our main attraction for our stay. I also found out shortly after i had fallen pregnant to my now 4 year old son and Forget Me Not Cottages was the place we conceived so this place is more than a memory for me. I remember every moment spent there!! xx P.S Nice army Pjs babe xx

We stayed at the green room that included a queen bed, leather sofa and a outdoor spa that is attached to the backyard. We enjoyed the outdoor spa which is surrounded by natural landscapes. The room was clean and had the amenities you would expect in a hotel. Towels and robes are clean. However I did not enjoy the overpowering musty smell of the room and the style of the house decor. The lighting could also improve(it was way too dim and hard to read or look up things).

Such an amazing place to have romantic time with your love one. I’ve been to this place few times and love all of the cottages. Thanks Roxy for managing this cottages in the best way. Last visit we had some issues and I mentioned those to the management. Surprisingly, they fixed all issues in couple of months. That means a lot to me. Whoever cares about business they care about customers. I definitely recommend this place and will return for sure. Thanks

We spent a sensational weekend together in the Music Room. We loved the ambiance of the whole place and the host's generous hospitality. The bed was snuggly and warm, so much so that we didn't want to get out!! It was lovely to wake up to a glorious mountain view and then make our breakfast with the fantastic hamper provided. The waterfall by the spa was soothing to the soul. We enjoyed walking along the Yarra River. We are sure to return soon. Thanks

Forget Me Not Cottages was an absolutely wonderful place to stay. The hosts were so lovely and everything was extremely well organised with fine attention to detail. The place is so tranquil, relaxing and totally unforgettable! If you want the perfect country get away and only short drive from Melbourne I, Forget Me Not Cottages is simply in a class of its own. I highly recommend Forget Me Not Cottages. Joseph and Elena

It was okay Definitely wasn't as great as the reviews have mentioned. Our spa didn't work they had to have people look at it. Our kitchen had an ant infestation. There was no toothpaste in the washroom. There wasn't enough wood for the fire place and the ventilation was bad, it makes the whole room smokey. The place just look old, dusty, grimey and neglected. It's a shame because I can imagine it being an amazing haven

We had the most beautiful and romantic weekend at Forget Me Not Cottages. It was my birthday, I had recently just had major surgery and we have three teenagers! So to get away and be just together for a weekend was perfect. The room was romantic and so peaceful and the autumn colours were really vivid. We walked, talked and had lots of coffee and cake! A perfect place to get away without having to travel far. Loved it!

  • Amber El

LOVED this place! Surprised my hubby for his birthday weekend, we stayed in the music room which my husband especially loved because of the drums! When we arrived it was freezing outside but the fire was roaring and the room was toasty warm. It was very romantic :) We had a bbq, spent time in the outdoor spa, watched movies, it was so relaxing and the room was so beautifully decorated. Amazing amazing amazing!!!

  • Latina Styles

I had very good expectations due the photos and the price I pay but then unfortunately I found out the place was a bit dirty some areas looked with very poor maintenance and I couldn’t use the spa because it’s extremely dirty and last thing I got to see a few cockroaches and last day had one walking on my neck

Terrible experience, vast issues (no hot water, broken spa, no gas, no heating as split system not working) and had to leave wasting our birthday weekend and petrol getting there. Very hard to communicate with staff to get help over as the issues found as all communication by phone only and long wait time to return calls and poor English understanding. We did however get a refund thank goodness!

  • Jerilly Yi

Lovely, private and relaxing stay. Find myself first time be that close to the nature. I loved the cottage set up. It is pretty, cozy and comfortable. Secluded with enough privacy. Very beautiful waterfall and garden area. Best place to release the pressure with the quiet atmosphere. Spa was enjoyable! Enough ingredients for breakfast inside refrigerator. Overall a great and lovely stay!

  • Dulashi Fernando

Stayed at the rose cottage. The spa was filled with dirty water and sand all at the bottom. When owner contacted, was told that someone will come clean the spa but nobody arrived. When attempted to call back, the calls werent returned. Very disappointed and dirty. Wouldnt recomend.

Comfey Cosy Cottage in the stunning Warburton. Situated very close to strip of shops, Redwood Forrest and Mount Donna Buang Kitchen supplies though were a big miss in simple cooking needs such as a much neede sharp knife. Barbecue unfortunately did not work And the supply of firewood was limited The spa was delightful though after a day of touring around

  • Neha Soman

Enjoyed our stay at the water garden room, Egyptian themed ambience was delightful. Everything was neat and clean adhering to the Covid normal standards. The calming sound of the waterfall was a lullaby. The spa experience was good. Loved the Warburton village.

A romantic getaway. A fantasy escape. The scenery must have transported me into a fairytale of sorts as it was picturesque & almost dream like. I stayed in the Rose Room & spent my time relaxing in the jacuzzi, while taking breaks to enjoy the warm fire inside our cabin. Will be coming back for sure.

AVOID THIS PLACE!! She is a Thief, she took my money and gave me another room which was awful! She wouldn't come to the cottages to rectify the situation, hung up on me and the refused to take my call backs. We left without staying, weekend ruined.

The location is perfect and there's a lot of different birds and a little river near hear. It is close to the restaurants, shops and Yarra River in the town. Free breakfast is provided, and the furnishings in the room are classical. Outiside SPA is unique and amazing.

We stayed in the music room and it was absolutely perfect. Arrived on a cold winters day to the heater on and the spa ready to go. Lots of charm and really romantic, looking out over the hills. Would stay again.

We stayed in the Water Room, and loved it. Great location, close to town. It was set up with all the essentials and more. They included bacon, eggs and hash browns!! Unfortunately though the fridge buzzes rather loudly which interrupted our sleep. It might not bother everyone though.

  • Kath Wilson

The worst place my husband and I have ever stayed in. The decor was extremely outdated & there was no soap in the shower/bathroom or kitchen. The bed was atrocious. Nothing like the pictures on the internet. Never going back. Definitely not worth the money

  • Timothy Hyndman

Stayed in the water room. Really nice ambience with the waterfall outside but the fridge was very loud and ruined it a bit. They provided bacon, eggs and hash browns for breaky as well as toast which we were not expecting and were very happy about.

  • Elisya Kirk

Such a beautiful location, the spa was so relaxing we stayed in the green room could hear the waterfall when in the spa, amazing! Nice comfortable clean room with great facilities. Loved the breakfast foods they left in the fridge was so

  • Chelsea Lamperd

Bad customer service! That is if you could even call it customer service. No booking confirmation and when we asked if we could get a booking confirmation we were told 'I think you are booked in' Such a pity the staff are so rude

  • Steven Tomazos

Beautiful place nice ambience the place is equipped with everything you need but no wifi and poor reception hence wifi would be nice nice jacuzzi and the little river that streams on the side of the cottage …

  • Happy Days

Excellent get away place to stay with a loved one or friend to have a break away from the city life, home, work and traffic. We only stayed one day but we loved it and will be back again in nicer weather . …

  • Philip Watkins

Dirty room, linen not fresh, called and text mobile number to have Jug replaced no answer then the noise from room or house above was terrible. Wont be back and still no reply to phone or text.

  • Jie

+The were no croissants but everything was amazing. Such a relaxing experience. Will definitely be back! (*pls just find the remote for the dvd player too). -No remote for dvd player.

  • Rhian Dicker

So gorgeous, photos do not do it justice. Fridge full of bacon and eggs, bottle of merlot and complimentary port. Very clean facilities and peaceful outlook. Will definitely be back!

  • Xander L

Beautiful place it's just hard to see people from reception, they never answered for us and the lady on the phone doesn't speak English.. Otherwise it wouldve had 5 stars..

  • Belinda

+The accommodation was just beautiful. The owners were there to answer anything. -We couldn’t find the off switch for the water feature so it stayed on all night..

  • Drew Salisbury

Very happy with our stay in the music room. Great feeling of seclusion and never wanted to leave the spa... Great location for shops and trails etc.

  • Luke Emrose

Lovely place but in desperate need of some TLC. As stated in a few other reviews the cabin (rose) rough around the edges at the moment.

  • Sumeena Beattie

It was beautiful serene and lush. Friendly chef and gorgeous views. Will go back for sure. We were in the Water Garden room.
