The school is a good school, with mostly good teachers and staff. However the one thing that puts me off is the low light levels and industrial feeling atmosphere. I would personally recommend the school's science curriculum, but I'm not fond of the way many of the math teachers present the course material. It's important to note that the school has a well built fitness program, but me not being a fitness buff, can't make a recommendation. Lunchtime activities are diverse, with a large selection of clubs. Student council is active in the school, and students can attend every Monday at lunch. There really isn't anything special about this place, other than it has a wonderful science curriculum, and good phys-ed program. The band program is also known to be top-notch The last thing I have to say is that I wish the library was bigger. It gets really loud in there at lunch and during breaks. Recently they've dedicated significant funds to expansions of the band room and healthy living center. I just wish some of those funds would be allocated to more academic pursuits.

I have a very traumatic experience at frc. I had been grinding for my FNCS qualifiers ( which were coming up in a week) and i was called out by my math teacher to put my computer away. I had told the guy how irresponsible he is for telling me to stop playing the video game that will shape my future. The students were also very rude, i was ignored by every single female in the school, for a reason unbeknownst to me. All i wanted to do was be a part of a good environment to focus on my dream, but every single thing was getting in my way and full griefing me. The staff also did not help when the seniors would constantly bully me. I would walk down the hallway and be physically abused in the public with no help.

Great high school. Very diverse student base and incredibly involved teachers. Very easy to be active in your interests and find new ones as there are lots of extra courses offered like computer science, video productions, wilderness and way more. Lots of high level extra curricular activities offered as well. Definitely check this school out if you are new to the Fort Richmond/Richmond West/South Pointe area.

great staff and teachers, very welcoming and kind. the school´s cafeteria is not great to be honest, smells like rotten asian food and its kind full everytime, there are not room for everybody to sit and eat. i miss studying there and i will always remember it in a good way =)

Fort Richmond Collegiate is home to one of the top Band programs in Canada. They win awards year after year and have grown into a massive program. They also have a high academic focus. A great public school.

Awesome school with kids from all over the world. The welcome center program here is very strong and helps to learn English from zero pretty fast. If you are immigrant you won't stand out.

Great place, teachers really care and are very well trained and good at their job, friendly people for the most part, and tons of clubs and extracurriculars

Diversity at its finest, I should say. Very friendly staff, most students are friendly. What more can I say?!!!
