Betsy designed and created an engagement ring even greater than I imagined. She listened to what I wanted and made suggestions to improve it including making the setting out of platinum gold because it would allow the diamond to shine more and mixing metals which is something I do with costume jewelry but never would have thought to do with fine jewelry. She took my mom and dad’s original yellow gold wedding bands + my sister in law’s diamond and platinum and turned it into the most beautiful and modern ring. Betsy will be making our wedding rings too and I’m sure those will be just as beautiful. She is an all around lovely person and made us feel so welcome in her studio. Whether it’s something custom or not, Betsy makes smart, beautiful and unique jewelry and I am so grateful to have her energy added into our heirloom pieces in this new ring!

My husband worked with Betsy to create my surprise engagement ring last year. He only had a few pictures off my Pinterest board to show her, but she knew just what to craft for me - something timeless with a modern detailed twist. He said it was so easy to work with her and couldn't stop telling me all about it after we got engaged. Such a fun surprise to have some custom made for me! We were so happy with what she made that it only made sense to have her design my husband's wedding ring as well. He gave her an inspo photo from a miyazaki film, and she ran with it. Exceeded our expectations! Something extra special is that she invited him to cast his own ring in the studio. It was a memorable experience. Thank you, Betsy! I have been sporting Foxtail Jewelry since 2013! I'm obsessed with the double triangle ring and the gyroscopes, and have had Betsy create bespoke gyroscopes for all of my best friends over the years, as well as two (lost the first one) for myself. She has happily repaired my jewelry when I've been too rough on it, and her packaging is divine. Betsy is professional, prompt, and a pleasure to work with. Betsy at Foxtail Jewelry worked with me to design a custom memorial pendant after my husband died. She was warm and friendly, was happy to offer suggestions and go back and forth about the design, and made the most beautiful pendant. I’m so glad I trusted her with this project, and I’m definitely a customer for keeps!

Betsy is extraordinarily talented. And she’s an even better human. I can’t say enough what a joy she is to interact with. And I absolutely still love every single piece I have collected over the years; I catch myself staring at the little details every wear. They are works of art to be sure.
