Far nicer than its illustrious ancestor on Charing Cross Road, it's an utter delight to see a real bookstore these days, let alone in the heart of heathen Westfield. The selection is uniformly excellent as far as fiction goes, with a good number of classics available in special hardback editions, as well as the usual mass market paperbacks. Wander upstairs and it opens up further with a fine selection of non-fiction; unless you have need of a fairly specific text, the choice here should be enough to tempt you with a new book on each visit. Most of all, this is probably the last shop in Westfield that encourages you to just browse and enjoy the experience, for its own sake. No horrendous music or blaring promotional labels, just a much-needed, and welcome reminder the joy in discovering something new, a page at a time.

My teenage daughter loves books and buys herself books from here as a treat. Ive never really gone in with her before, however on this occasion i did. She was engrossed in choosing her books and and completely unaware; the lady behind the tills saw us enter....and literally left the tills and started stalking us. We were the only non white people in the store and she made it obvious she was following us around due to that reason. I suffer from anxiety and dont like confrontations, i just hurried my daughter and said she can buy it online. She made me feel like we didn't deserve to be there....we weren't the right clientele. Its disgusting that rascism and prejudices are still very much around.

I came in to Foyles in Stratford last Friday, and after usually reading from my kindle I decided to take the different approach by reading a paperback. I am certainly a picky reader, I usually enjoy books from a first person perspective and a book that is very gripping. A lovely lady helped me and suggested that I read the book 'Silver Sparrows' by Tarayri Jones, after many of her book suggestions this was the one that really stuck out to me. I have to say this was a brilliant read, and spot on what I was looking for. Great customer service, you will certainly walk out with a book!

I visited here recently looking for a specific book. I got a bit overwhelmed by the cataloguing within the history section but was helped by a staff member who found the book for me straight away! He was really friendly and didn't make me feel like an inconvenience so thank you! The only thing I will say is that the accessibility is lacking. There is a staff lift towards the back of the store which isn't clearly identifiable. The day I came it was out of service so the top floor wouldn't have been accessible to wheelchair users or many ambulatory disabled customers.

We were looking for a particular True Crime stories book and knew the author. We tried Foyles but found it difficult to track down the author. Perhaps we are so used to just searching online that manually searching through different bookcases was not easy. We gave up in the end and ordered online elsewhere as we needed it urgently and it was delivered the next day. We wish to support physical book shops but searching needs to be made easier e.g having a terminal in the store to use a search to find out whether a book is physically in stock or not.

Visited here on Saturday (11/03/23). The shop is very spacious, incredibly welcoming and each section is labelled clearly so it was very easy to fin what me and my siblings were looking for. I was fortunate that I found a new series by my favourite manga-ka in stock, but it was the very last book in stock for that particular one. No queues to speak of, staff were very friendly and - if they ever have a coffee shop tucked away inside - I'd have loved to have spent longer just relaxing in there!

A little bit of peace and tranquillity amongst the madness of shoppers. Fantastic book store, always been a fan of Foyles, now my children are too. There is always a great supply of new books, my kids head straight to the children's department and spend ages looking through the titles. This place has a lovely atmosphere. There are comfortable seats to sit and ponder, the staff are friendly and approachable. We never leave here empty handed.

Amazing selection of books! Bought a couple children books for my daughter who is 3yrs old. The shop is a good size shop and with arrange of books for all ages. The staff are also very friendly. They had an activity last week Saturday to hunt for lollies which were cut out and stuck around the store. Like a treasure hunt game. Daughter enjoyed and was some fun. After finding all the lollies they got a real Lolly as a prize

Hands Face Space Consideration. Admirable shop frontage for this well established London bookstore. The Foyles name is flourescent illuminated sign on the shop window. Has a massive selection of reading, textbook, novel, autobiography and more. Could take a good day to see the new release, top titles and bestsellers. Visit the shop it is a must and the kids will get engagement in the playbooks and children title section.

The book store has a great variety of classic books available. I especially love the books on foreign fairytales. I bought a Russian factory tale book the other day and I absolutely love it. You learn so much from other cultures by just looking at what they teach their children. That's how we transfer our morals and values. All in all. Great store... Great variety. Will definitely be passing by again.

  • John Watts

Good general stock of current fiction and non fiction, plus a reasonable selection of 'classic' literature. Quite a lot of TV tie in cook books etc. All well displayed, though the store isn't that big; as it was very busy when I visited on a Saturday afternoon, it was a bit cramped, making it difficult to access some of the displays. A good bookshop nonetheless, well worth a visit.

  • Matthew Gillard

I absolutely love this shop, it's spacious and always clean and tidy. Whenever I go in here I just want to sit down and read every book on the shelves, it's really got that proper book shop feel. The staff have always been lovely and welcoming; they know what they're talking about and they all obviously have a good love for books of all kinds.

  • Zeki Bar

Fantastic book store. In terms of size I would say its medium-small but it packs a lot of great books. Huge range of kids books so great for families, also lots of fiction downstairs. Upstairs is history, popular science, self help, languages, but this floor is a little limited due to space with the history sections taking precedence.

  • Xiaonan Liu

Extremely poorly service! A short Hair older lady in the cashier on Saturday on25th February was so rude she looks like she had so much attitude towards to the job. If she hates her job that much she should consider to leave. I am sorry as a customer we don’t deserve to be rude like that. So upsetting and completely ruined my weekend

  • Kritt Normsaskul

Standard Foyles bookshop. It's a reader's dream and if you love books, you'll feel right at home. There are two floors to explore with some comfy chairs to sit and peruse books at your leisure. It's everything you want and expect from a legendary London bookstore even when located inside a very modern looking shopping centre.

  • Ellie Mackin Roberts

This is an excellent bookshop for a smaller branch. Of course you will never get the range that the flagship store has but there is a really good sampling of many genres of books. The children's section is particularly great. The staff are really friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Overall a great bookshop!

  • miguel Alex

Lovely and spacious book store with a wide range of books for all ages and creeds. Very friendly staff who are also willing to support local authors. They have allowed me to have a short kids event and possibly stock my book *Caribbean Book of Fun Activities* - If you have children it's well worth a visit.

  • Eline Deijns

Big bookstore with every genre possible.they have great sales and a wide variety of books. The employees are nice and kind and willing to give you good advice on what to read. You can also find some tiktok trending books in here next to some bestelling authors. Booklovers should defintitly walk in here!

  • Samuel Piedagnel

Although one can miss the previous old/quirky Foyles shop with its hidden corners where one could disappear for hours, this has to be one of the best bookstore in Europe. Organized over 5 spacious floors, with a cafe at the top, it is one of my favorite weekend stops. Brilliant and passionate staff.

  • Abu Shaymaa

Foyles is an amazing book store with lots of promotions on books to staff who are very helpful & let you carry on reading books :) The prices can be slightly higher compared to books available online, however Foyles have good offers such as buy 1 get other half price on specific books.

  • Sapphire Bellot

Visited Foyles in Westfield with a friend and didn't consider to buy a book but i did from the crime and horror section. The layout is nice and we'll managed. The staff are helpful to talk too and it is of course a quiet environment inside which is nice. I will visit again in future.

  • Leon Kay

They have nearly everything you would want ,staff are wonderful, books are abundant . I went in there and was blissfully surprised. I walked out with 2 books one I wanted and the other a fabulous collection of Alan Corens funny scribblings . If you like a good read then go to foyles.

  • Davide Lepore

I love every single Foyles I've ever been in. They have anything you need (bookwise of course). It's one of the best provided bookshops you'll get the chance to visit. Luckily their staff also always happens to be very competent, so if you will need help they'll definitely be useful

  • Nick Atkinson

One of my favourite bookshops in London. Sometimes nothing beats picking up a book and having a look inside before deciding whether to buy it. Or looking up and down the bookshelves for your next great read. I order alot or books online but still appreciate a good bookshop.

  • Penny Pen1

Whenever we go to Westfield daughter mine and I look here usually with a good purchase. Open space used well and all genres/types of book here, all ages. Use full for a good read or for educational and reference books. Takes into account other needs too

  • M Zakariya (Zak)

A brilliant bookshop with a nice studious feel. Staff members are very helpful and respectful, and structure of the shop is decent. Some book categories aren't present such as computer science (at least to a useful extent and with diversity).

  • Adrian Gorst

You can feel the love of books at Foyle's, so it's a great place to browse and buy, with advice on hand if needed. Yes, you may pay slightly more than Amazon, but if you can afford it enjoy the experience of supporting a proper book store

  • Azeem

Foyles used to be a great bookshop that sold lots of books. Now it sells lots of bits and bobs and fewer books. If I want to buy lots of tat I can go to the market. Get back to having a decent and comprehensive selection of books please.

  • Michelle nolan

Some sections have a lot more selection than others, for example the programming/ computer section has next to nothing and the cooking section has a large variety. However the environment is good and I would recommend visiting. I have

  • Marcus Williams

It's a bookstore, what can I say. Not many bookstores around nowadays you could almost consider it an attraction site. The place is very tidy and easy to navigate. We were there quickly to pick up a couple books for world book day.

  • James Beckles

One of my favourite bookshops to visit. The political section is my favourite corner and always a new and interesting array of books. Staff are helpful and have been on hand to order books in or reduce them if damaged.

  • Teodor KInov

Really everything you need a bookstore to be. Atmosphere is nice, books are well organised, there is also lots of manga selections! Everything you would expect, it's always my stop when I decide to go to Westfield.

  • And Even

Rich collection of books. Hardcovers of classics and children’s literature. Graphic novels and manga collection was impressive as well. Edit: now that it’s just waterstone ii, i find the collection is really poor.

  • James Shannon

This book is on the bottom floor in Stratford Westfield shopping centre. They have all kinds of books to buy from many topics like geography, language, poetry, history, cooking, wildlife, etc.

  • Shaun Dunmall

Today, I was looking for a computer book. Very poor computer section, 1/2 a shelf maybe. If I'd have been looking for a history book I'd have been fine, five or six full shelves of those.

  • Jenny Verano

Wonderful place for book lovers. The staff is really attentive in helping me to find what I was looking for - books that teach children about emotions. I even found one for myself …

  • Anne-Jolie

Good display of books, but not much space for customers to read, n not enough reviews to facilitate customers to choose ✍ …
