Let down is an understatement. My wife and I had been excited to try this place having heard some good things from friends. I mean what could go wrong with chicken fingers and hot sauce? So before I get to the food lets talk the location. This is a restaurant inside a restaurant. That's a terrible idea. Calling in my order I had to order twice because the server didn't know which menu I was ordering from. After repeating my order a few times we got it locked in, two of the strip combos, one with rings, one with the fries. Simple. Timing, it took double the time quoted to get it all done. I never expect 2pm to be a huge rush but it took 40 min to get the strips cooked which was a bit strange. Getting these home (I took the bag in hand from the kitchen porter and drove home approx 3 min) we opened them up to find two boxes of disappointment. Both boxes were dripping with grease before we could even open the boxes, orange grease was everywhere literally dripping all over our table. Opened up there were the strips, breading coming off and with blobs of burnt 'sweet' sauce they were less than appealing. The first one I had was hard and rubbery, terribly unpleasant and yet was nearly raw at the thickest point. Big let down. There was heat, but little flavour and it didn't get better as it went along with a long lasting bitter aftertaste. The onion rings and fries were both lacking salt or any seasoning. The slaw also lacked seasoning, there was some pickle in it but the brine was so minimal as to not provide the acid/salt/seasoning that this needed. It's crazy to say that a plate like this was flavourless, but it was. There was heat on the strips, but between the burnt blobs and general cook this just didn't provide any reason to go back for seconds.

I grew up in the south and lived in Tennessee for over 17 years. I tried this place and will say the sandwich is good. It is not the same as real Nashville hot chicken. I did enjoy the quality of the chicken used as it is real chicken and not some fast food compressed stuff. If you are familiar with hot chicken then don't go in expecting the same thing as you would get in Nashville and you'll be happy with this. Another caveat, if you order pickles with your hot chicken sandwich they use sweet pickles instead of the usual dills. I would like to see this place improve the quality of the sauce they use for their hot chicken offering. Real hot chicken is a tiny bit sweet for the sauce and in varying depths of heat. This is straight up a vinegary cayenne type sauce...probably Franks which I don't find to be a great hot sauce. The sauce President's Choice uses is more authentic than this but, this is a "take" on Nashville hot chicken...not remotely as good as Nashville but, passable.

Where do I start Should have read the reviews before ordering. When you search the address it brings you to Lonestar, which confused me so we looked around then decided to call and ask for directions to the entrance. The hostess had no clue how to direct us instead saying “find the door and walk in”… as opposed to?? Wait time was 40 minutes for 2 chicken sandwiches and curly fries. I assume they ran out of chicken breast and gave us 3 small chicken strips instead of what looks like 2 chicken breast patties in their photos. Laughably after a long wait you would expect the food to be hot. Fries had to have been cooked 15-20 minutes prior. Even the sandwhich was cold. FYI they use sweet pickles which threw off the taste completely. They must be rationing the sauce as mine had barely any. Wouldn’t feed this to my dog

Finally got around to trying Frankie's recently. Out of all the hot chicken sandwiches I've had, I can say the best are Popeye's, Frankie's and Mary Brown's. The chicken was juicy and flavorful; the Nashville sauce was very good, and the pickles compliment It well. It did not taste like a manufactured fast-food product I would rate my meal 5 stars, but the curly fries are expensive for not being Arby's-Tier good, and they could have been a little more crisp. In the Grand scheme of what they offer, this is not the biggest of deals. Give it a shot, you may be very pleasantly surprised.

Today 4 of us decided to try the new place. If I could give a lower star I would. I had order the Hot Nashville sandwich, sauce on the side. Greasy soggy bun, over cooked almost burnt hard chicken strips. Sauce was oily and unbalanced. This is a definite stay away. Came with curly fries that were over cooked and non consistency in seasonings. My compliments to the photographer who took the picture on the website. Sorry all thumbsdown

Ordered from here for the 1st time, everything looked and sounded delicious from the menu, but unfortunately when it arrived it was underwhelming. Nothing really special about it to make you say 'we need to go back', the curly fries were sub par and clumped together in a big brick and lacked seasoning, the chicken sandwich was just ur typical sandwich u can get anywhere..and abit dry, it was just 'ok'..not worth trying again

After ordering I read the reviews and was not excited at all for the food that was about to arrive. If I read the reviews before my order, I would not have ordered. All that said, the food got here and was great. No issues with anything being undercooked, overcooked, and the hot sauce was perfect. I'd order again. Ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich and curly fries. Fries were alright, but the sandwich was solid.

Good food but the problem was I ordered 5 chicken strip combo instead they gave me 3 chicken strip combo and when I called them they started making excuses kept me on hold and three different people gave three different answers about it. Zero professionalism. Anyways I liked the food but I didn’t get what I paid for so I its technically cheating. Will never order again. Thank you

The chicken fingers and the burger were great. The only problem is that all the fried stuff gets weird wrapped in the foil. When I came home with the package, it wasn’t that appetizing. This is a must try though. The hot af sauce is good but not the best. Affordable prices though. They charged me 8-9 dollars for the burger and 10.99 for the 5 tenders. Recommended must try

Ordered the chicken sandwich, curly fries and onion rings online and we LOVED it. My fiancé said it was the best chicken sandwich he's ever had; we also loved the curly fries -perfectly seasoned and served with a super tasty sauce. The onion rings were so-so but otherwise we were perfectly satisfied and FULL. Give them a try you won't be dissappinted.

Chicken from here is quite tasty. I've tried their sandwiches as well as the strips and it is relatively worth the price compared to other restos. Though, the fried pickles and onion rings have been raw/doughy on the inside every time i have tried them. If you go here i would not bother trying the breaded items. I would give 3.5 stars if i could.

GIVING 4 STARS because the chicken taste sooo good. Overall the food was great, my only issue is nothing came as described. The chicken sandwich was supposed to have 3 chicken strips and only had 2. The 3piece chicken finger came with 2 and a half pieces. My fries didn't come with dipping sauce like they were supposed too.

I love their chicken and their fries, but I’d like to eat it hot. Ordered thru Uber eats and got it cold. Thought is was the road that made it cold. Then, I ordered for pick-up on their website. I got it cold from the server’s hands. I had to microwave it at home, and I live 4 minutes away by car.

Ordered through Uber for the first time, forgot parts of my order. I’d recommend attaching receipts to the bags to reduce error as this seems to be an ongoing problem looking at the reviews.. Otherwise, the nashville hot sandwich was quite good.

Amazing Experience eating inside the restaurant. It's fused with Lone Star Texas Grill and the food and service was absolutely phenomenal. Buck Shot was a great host with an even greater vibe. I recommend this place to anyone coming on.

  • James Potma

The food is usually great but they absolutely stiffed me when I ordered on Uber Eats tonight. Paid 5 dollars for extra fries with my sandwich and the box is three quarters empty. Don't know if I will risk ordering delivery again.

I ordered 2 times from Frankie's and I was amazed by quality of the chicken. The sauces are amazing and the burgers are great. I was surprised by the bad rating and I believe this place deserves asecond chance.

  • Selena Gosse

Good spice level on the Nashville hot. Tasted great and had good portion sizes. I especially loved the “dill with it” pickle coleslaw! It’s delicious and pairs well with the spicy chicken.

  • Saad Salmoun

Complete disaster! Food was given to another uber driver and never arrived, ordered it again and I got the whole thing messed up with missing dips. Completely unacceptable

  • Rachel Curran

The chicken tenders with curly fries is amazing. The sauces are also out of this world. I would eat here every day if I could. I'm excited to try a chicken sandwich.

  • Shawn Trentadue

Decided to try this as my wife and I like BBQ/Southern food, I was not disappointed this was an excellent choice will definitely be a return customer. Great food!!

  • Ontario's Food Guide

I found this place on Uber eats, and tried it for the first time today. I'm super impressed, and the frankie's sauce is amazing. Will order again!

I love their burgers and hot chicken strips! When they have the BOGO deal with delivery apps, I can't have anything else! …

  • Makaila Evans

Food was very good though I either the breading on the chicken was a bit more crispy. Other then that it was amazing!

  • Benjamin Pigsworth

This place sounds like a unique restaurant, but is a "shadow" restaurant owned and operated inside Lonestar grill

  • Quentin Roy-Foster

I got the chicken sandwich combo for dinner and it was so good I had it again for lunch the next day.

  • Bradie Johnston

Unreal! The Medium Spice Chicken Strips are hands down the best chicken strips I’ve ever had.

  • Noah cowan

holy this was spicy!! and i got no extra hot sauce. recommend multiple water bottles. 10/10

  • Kyle Kang

4 of the 5 chicken strips were so raw it was practically laying eggs

  • Brett Klima

Just found this place and it's easily my fav place to eat now.
