‼️WARNING‼️Very disappointing experience. I read the negative reviews before and thought, "nah, these can't be right" but it was actually worse than those reviews. Ordered 2 pizzas. Waited 30mins. Kindly asked the staff how far away my order was. They assured me it was "very soon" followed by a "next in line" shortly after. Waited another half an hour and still no sign. I saw a lady being refused a refund for her 60 minute pizza wait and they refused, so I thought. I better wait it out for my pizzas. Mind you, this was over an hour since I placed the order and in my case, my order was half lost. My order of chips was made but the pizza order was lost. Not sure how that happens when half an order is just forgotten like that? When I asked them about it, they said "it happens when it's busy". They assured me it was now being put in the oven. Being quite unimpressed, I decided to just ask for a refund since at this point I'd been waiting for about 1hr 15mins and I just wanted to go somewhere else as I was starving. The manager herself said, "you lost your chance at a refund when we started cooking it" with a fair bit of attitude which I thought was a bit bizarre considering I'd been waiting 75minutes and she shifted the blame onto me. Anyhoo, there's much better pizza around and the chips were soggy. All of this could have been avoided if the manager didn't give us attitude and just granted a refund with an apology. Other staff apologised but she refused and just said "we made a mistake" and "you lost your chance".

This place is awesome. Overall we had a great experience and the food was authentic. Probably the best wood fired pizza in the West. Atmosphere..... Was rustic and inviting. This place is unlike any other pizzaria I have been to. It's set in a backyard of a house across the road from the Parramatta sports stadium. There is plenty of tables and chairs and some of it is undercover. It's all built from wood even the kitchen. Food...... Was very authentic and 100 percent wood fired pizza. The owner is from Naples so he knows pizza. Everything is made by hand, you can see the staff making the dough and making the bases to order. This is not your usual dominoes pizza place this is the real deal. Service.... Was good buttttt the wait times was a long time. It took approx 45 mins to 1 hour for the food to be ready. We did come at the busy time so it was expected. They were very busy making at least 100 or more pizzas in an hour or two. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Price..... The pizzas range from 20 dollars up to about 30 dollars. The price was fair for what you get. I would gladly come here again and recommend this place.

No toilet or place to wash hands before eating (they only have Sanitising gel). All Card transactions require you to download an app. When the server took my cash he didn't take off his food glove :O Pizza didn't take too long to come (Was not busy). Pizza itself had nice toppings but the pizza base was very boring (Definitely not sourdough). Pizza was rolled super thing, Toppings would not stay on pizza (Had to use napkins to hold pointy part of pizza up). Too much cheese, the cheese would leak and stick to the box, Edges were burnt to an inedible black crisp. Staff seemed nice. Semi enclosed Seating was nice.

Some paid parking lots nearby (due to closeness to stadium). Most are a fair walk from around the block.
Wheelchair accessibility
Driveway was blocked by a caravan so it's a tight squeeze, Cable ramps blocking entrance too. Once inside there are a few seats however the indoor dining area is blocked by a wooden step. Chairs also need to be lifted to be moved out. No stairs, area is quiet even though next to road.

Very bad service and took too long that I had to cancel my order. I ordered a half meter pizza, calamari and some drinks. I sat and waited next to the counter as I was not told if I have a buzzer like everyone else. I asked after 15 mins how long it will take and the lady said “10-15 mins” so I waited and at the half hour mark, I saw the guys that came in and ordered after me got their pizzas. I proceeded to ask how long will it take for my order and the lady said “10-15 mins”. I questioned as she said that 15 mins ago and explained that the other guys that just picked up their pizzas who ordered after me. She said they preorder on the app. I told them to stop lying as I saw I saw them come in and order as well as confirming AFTER I ordered. Then one of the guy said “we are busy, you are not being very helpful”. I said I’ve waited a long time and others who ordered before me and then asked if they have started my order and the answer was “no”. I then told them that the 30 min wait and nothing was cooked or even started is bad enough and requested for a refund. They agreed but will not give me a refund recipe until I demand for one. Very bad customer service and very dodgy business.

This cute spot appeared on my google maps when I was trying to locate where the xray place was haha. Anyways came here tonight after craving WOODFIRED PIZZA for the past few days. This is such a cute spot I felt like I was at home. It was very quiet at 8.20pm on a weekday with lots of tables to sit at. I love how they even provide candles on the side and mosquito repellent as we were getting eaten. so we ordered margherita and buffalo margherita and didn't wait that long before it was really but the time was close to closing. So we ended up doing take away and we enjoyed it in the car. Heres my review to compare, we ordered the margherita which was perfect to me. Even amounts of sauce to cheese and a few flakes of bazil and the baker drizzled some olive oil on top ( if it is olive oil ) and we also ordered the buffalo margherita which was just saucer which was just righy and with even amounts of buffalo cheese and a few pieces of basil was perfect my partner loved it. So glad its not to far from home and I highly recommend this place. Cant wait to try more on the menu. ❤

Really disappointed with this place. Just like most people, we heard about the original concept of the backyard restaurant and how this was transitioning to an actual restaurant styled place. Expectations were high but reality was the exact opposite. The service was very poor to say the least. We were left to serve ourselves for most of the night and not only that, we had our food served backwards compared to what we ordered. To give you an example, We ordered 3 pizzas for main, they were the first things we received and then we got a bruschetta, calamari and got those at around the time you’d expect the mains. We also ordered a pasta, but didn’t even get that because the service team had no idea what to do. The food however, was actually not too bad hence why they get 3 stars. The food was nice but however it’s a negative review because when you go to any restaurant, you expect the experience to not just be reflected on the quality of food, but the way you are served and how the atmosphere is portrayed.

I feel conflicted writing this review because on one hand the food is spectacular, the pizza I got had lovely toppings and the crust had the right amount of chew and the pasta was perfectly al dente with the right mouth feel. On the other hand, I don't think any food is worth waiting 1hr 15 minutes for and I clearly wasn't the only customer who suffered from long waiting times on night I went. If you can, try and go at a time and day that isn't too busy (definitely not on Saturday night) but this place is clearly suffering from its success. I hope they take a step back and see what they can do to improve their service times because the food is great but there are definitely people who won't return given how bad the wait times are and the poor communication from the staff.

Shocked there aren’t more reviews on the extreme slow service at this place. Be prepared to wait over an hour for your food. We arrived at 7:50pm on a Friday night and waited exactly 90min to get our order. This place has potential to be great however needs to better execute their ordering system and wait times. Recommend ordering online well ahead before you pick up your order. Bring a beer while you wait like the smart group of blokes who we saw there tonight. Besides the let down of waiting for several decades for our food to arrive, the pizzas itself are very good. Even after taking our pizzas home 15 min later the pizza was still fresh and not soggy. Don’t get the Gamberi, the prawns are tiny and you are basically eating Margherita pizza. Prosciutto was *chefs kiss*

Ordered 2 pizzas, the Buffalo Margherita and the Salami (pepperoni). Both pizzas had super crispy bases and crust. The crust could have been a little bit more chewy. The Buffalo Margherita was delicious, especially the tomato base really stood out as being fresh and tasty. Yum! The Salami was good but got a bit salty as you ate a few more slices. Friendly staff but with 2 people working only there was a bit of a wait for my order to be ready, but to be fair they were quite busy, even for a Wednesday night!! I must say I am impressed with the fact that they offer aerogard and mozzie repellant lights so you don't get eaten alive by the mozzies given it is outdoor seating only. Interesting that it is set up in the backyard of a house!

Excellent pizza but be prepared for an extremely long wait. We visited on a Saturday night at about 6.30pm, and the wait time was 1.5 hours between when we ordered and got our pizza. You order on an app and this tells you 15 minutes, but that time doesn't seem to be linked to the actual wait so everyone was becoming upset and frustrated. Staff were doing their best but clearly overwhelmed by the large number of orders and people asking about their food. Genuinely dozens of people standing and waiting, and all tables full of people waiting. The long wait for food means a long wait for tables too. The pizza itself is excellent. Beautiful woodfire and just as delicious as anything I have tried on Italy. I'd avoid the weekend, go on a weekday for lunch or dinner instead.

Best pizza I have ever had. The chef himself was there, very polite. We ordered buffalo cheese and prosciutto with calamari sides. Can’t wait to go back and recommended to all. It has a lot of seating available. We went at 3pm on Friday and we were the only 2 people there so the food was super quick. It was still daylight when we were there but there were pretty lights strung up and music playing softly so I’m sure the ambience at night time is 10/10. Accessibility - Wooden chairs and tables on top of mulch/bark, and you need to walk narrow path between caravan and house to get to the back so might be a little might be a little difficult for some people to access.

This is not like any pizza I've ever tried before. Australian pizza is very different to this authentic Italian style. It's super thin and the toppings are simple but delicious. The pizza base isn't overwhelmed by the toppings either, and you can still taste the woodfired flavour. You can eat your pizza out the back but it's not really a "restaurant". It's more like a pop-up or a food truck vibe. They have picnic tables and chairs and you can take your pizza box and have a seat. There were people drinking wine out the back too, so I suppose you can bring wine too. The guy making the pizza (probably the owner?) is super friendly too. It's great to watch him work the dough. They only take cash at the venue or you have to download their app to buy online. It's a weird setup but worth the effort.

Hats off to whomever thought of this idea! What a delightful little place. Warm vibes thanks to the fairy lights and the beautiful jacaranda trees. The pizza is fantastic. You fall In love from the very first bite. Your brain starts playing tricks on you because you’re eating such good tasting pizza and with the whole scenery and vibe it’s almost as if you’re not in someone backyard just off a main road, rather away on a vacation. All orders are done via the phone, you have to scan a code or go onto their website. *Piece of advise* if you don’t want to wait too long for your food, order before you get there. Please go and enjoy and thank me later!

This place needs to really think about customer service!! The worst I have experienced in a while.. The waiting times are horrible, so I would not suggest this to anyone. You are in for a 1.5 hrs waiting to get a pizza and ill managed experience at the front desk and app makes it worse! The waiting times are also not being properly communicated to the customers are who coming in! And when the food comes it was also a mere disappointment! The veggie lover pizza literally minimal to none veggies as weitten in the menu. This was primaril because everything was being done in a rush and food quality was being compromised.. Came with really high hopes as a first time customer but really disappointed!!

So when I saw these guys had moved out of the backyard I thought great...no more chaos. Give em a try I thought....Local business I thought....Only order via an app? Ok sounds promising. The app said my order would be ready at 8:15 I go there at at 8:15 and they hadn't even looked at my order. All these pizzas were coming out of the oven, but they went straight upstairs, I'm guessing to some function. 45mins later one of the guys asks my name. When I told him, he said my order was ready...nearly. The moral of the story is, don't believe the app. Was the pizza good? Yes. Was it worth 45mins of my time standing around waiting? Not a chance! Deleting the app so I don't get fooled again.

Went here on a Wednesday night. Horrible delays and waitersd who don’t know what there doing or really tired as they are old. Waited over 1 hr for just a bruschetta and a gnocchi. Had to go and chase the order twice since the waiter don’t speak English. The bruschetta was already cold, and the gnocchi has no flavour only taste like tomato paste and also the size for $30 was a bit ridiculous. The calamari came last and that was entries. Didn’t get many photos was unhappy. The bruschetta with mortadella was nice however it was cold and came over an 1hr late. …..really want to try the backyard concept but they moved, it wasn’t even all that busy don’t think I’ll be back.

Had a nice Sunday night meal here. Had the prosciutto pizza and Contadina (blanco) pizza. Prosciutto was our preferred. What you’d expect from a wood fired prosciutto, tomato based pizza. The Contadina was OK. Because it’s a blanco and fairly minimal, the sausage is very front and centre. It’s got a very “gamey” taste which is interesting and I’m sure won’t be to everyone’s taste. I liked it but didn’t love it. Was also missing the truffle pesto that was supposed to be on it… either it’s so subtle we couldn’t tell or they forgot it? Overall I think this place is more a standout for its backyard ambience (it’s in a real house) rather than the food.

Very unprofessional. The family and guest ended up eating cold soggy pizzas. At 7pm I ordered 5 pizzas for 8pm pick up. 7.59 the lady calls my name and has 2 pizzas ready. She says the others will be out soon. 8.10 still waiting whilst the two pizzas are just sitting there getting cold. 8.15 she says they are ready and hands me 4 pizzas? I tell her it’s suppose to be 5? She checks and says they will make it now. 8.25 I finally get my full order. 2 pizzas are 25min old , the other two are 15min old. By the time we got home the pizzas were all cold and soggy bar 1 pizza. Spent $110 on pizzas. Should of got Pizza Hut. What a shame!

Fratelli Pulcinella is an amazing place! Their authentic Italian pizzas and cozy atmosphere create a delightful dining experience. Safe to say it is the best wood-fire pizza I have ever had. Everything is so fresh!! The staff are nice and welcoming. Make sure you get your order in an hour in advance from on Friday night and weekend nights… Ordered 7 pizzas, they all came out after each other so you could enjoy them together. They are halal, you just need to inform them before hand to use different cutters which is great! The gamberi a MUST!

Decided to try this place after seeing good reviews. We ordered the Napolitano pizza and it was lovely. Decided to try the pomodorini Pasta, but were disappointed with the serving. For $20 we expected a bigger serve than a entry size. The pasta was way harder than all dente. Only 1 basil leaf and upon asking for pepper, the waiter had no idea and gave us pepper corns, however, he was nice enough to ground it for us when we asked. We honestly were not impressed and the food we received looked nothing like the previous pictures posted.

That’s amore ❤️ @fratellipulcinella is a cute woodfired Pizza place in North Parramatta. It’s more of a food truck vibe with picnic tables set in the backyard. Pizzas are yumm and authentic Italian. Being truffle mushroom lovers, we tried their Funghi & Terra Pizza and liked it. ️I am going to try their Spicy Chicken and Veggie Lovers next time. For those who like their woodfired pizza thin and slightly crispy, don’t mention it here. They make authentic pizzas and by default make them thin and slightly crispy. Wow!!! So glad this came up on my son’s social media!!! We were going to Riverside theatre and wanted somewhere close by. Well, once here you do not feel like you are in downtown busy Parramatta. Feels like you are in someones backyard!!! No flash seating yet it does not feel awful. Food is authentic and fresh and super delicious and it was obviously very popular. We booked a table on a Friday night as I believe it could get busy. And seriously we could not hear the noise of traffic sitting there. Friendly service. Pay by either cash or on the App. Only have soft drink or water but you can BYO. Loved it

Excellent pizza and pasta. Total surprise as it looks like it’s just a residential that someone has put a woodfire pizza oven in the back and a catering van in the driveway. Al fresco dining creates a great atmosphere and all staff are working super hard. Only complaints is that it can take a while to get food, especially when it’s busy. Think we waited 40 mins on a Friday night for a pizza & a pasta dish. It can also be really difficult to hear your name being called out. Heaps of people standing around as it takes so long and everyone is worried they’ve missed their orders. They do have buzzers but rarely use them for some reason. Food is more than worth it though.

Really wanted to love this place but a bit underwhelming when you're there. The ambience is adorable but the pizza (just one) took 25 minutes and the pasta (Also just one) took a whole hour. We had to takeaway the pasta too. The pizza was ... floppy to a point where you picked it up and all the toppings fell and dripped out. Also recommend them getting a buzzer instead of calling names out because for the whole hour we waited for food and the name to be called out, we could barely maintain conversation and stayed distracted the whole time. I hope the place gets better! There's potential!

Had to try the hype train - as expected, it’s overrated. And the service was… well there was NO service at all. It seemed like two random waiters would walk around and bring you food/ take your plates depending on if they thought you were worth serving or not. The wood fire pizza was below average and the pasta was too. We weren’t in a backyard either if that’s what you’re expecting, you’re in a shop with music that’s too loud and seating like you’re in a park outside. Like everything was thrown together from whatever the owner had in a garage. I don’t recommend.

I'm not sure where the bad reviews are coming from... When it's busy, it's busy... I can't believe someone said they'll go to Dominos instead, but hey... more for those willing. If you want authentic Italian pizza, this is the way. Every time I pass by, I'm sure to pick up a pizza or two. They've got a quaint dining space, and easy takeout via the app. Definitely a good spot to bring a date or family. Alessio does his best to make sure that you're taken care of.

Small little hidden gem tucked in a backyard, a place not to miss!! You know the chef is an Italian from the warmth and hospitality with which he welcomes and treats his guest. And you know it's a great pizza, just from the dough. We had Buffalo cheese Margarita and Chicken Pizza. It was simple, fresh, delicious and made with best quality ingredients and baked with love! A return visit is undoubtedly on the horizon for this charming hidden treasure nestled in the heart of Parramatta. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, with the owner extending a warm and friendly welcome. The pizza proved to be a delight, boasting authenticity and a fresh-from-the-oven appeal. The tomato sauce burst with flavorful notes, ensuring a memorable experience. The thin, delectable crust paired with genuine, fresh ingredients truly makes the pizza a flavorful masterpiece.

Tried this from TikTok. Overall, it will suffice but it's not real woodfire pizza. The oven is real but they use gas instead of wood. We went during at 7pm on a Friday night and it took 1 hour just for one pizza. The staff are friendly. However, there is no table cleaning and you're expected to pick up your rubbish, which is fine. However, rude people don't and you end up cleaning their mess if you want a table. The dough wasn't bad but firmer than real woodfire pizza. The sauce base was bland, but the toppings were right amounts.

Amazing dining experience here. Impeccable service, comfortable seating area plus delicious Italian food. And I think they recently moved from outdoor seating in a backyard to a three storey restaurant with good air conditioning! (Plus point for summer). The pizza was amazing. Crunchy crust, soft and slightly chewy inside with perfect tomato base sauce. Homemade pasta was good too. Tiramisu was nice. Will definitely come back!

The Salami and Margherita pizza were good. But it was served in a box which made it soggy after a few minutes. The more loaded pizzas weren't so good. The price was the same as 400 Gradi and DOC in Melbourne, but with none of the service, speed, wine, proper tables, or plates (the plates would fix the soggyness). It's just a backyard. Pizzas took about 30 mins, but the app says 5 mins. Cash only for drinks.

They dont take bookings, but it was easy for us to get a table on a Friday night. We came for an early dinner (around 6 pm) and waited about 20 mins for our pizzas. By 6:30 p.m, there was a steady amount of people taking seats and a few ordering takeaway. Pizza is thin based with a fluffy chewy crust. We tried the Contadina which was nice, but we couldn't taste the truffle paste. And the Prosciutto Pizza, which had a soggy base a good sauce. All in all, would still give this place another try.

Fratelli, the home-based pizza shop, offers a delightful pizza experience. The pizzas are not only scrumptious but also reasonably priced, making it a fantastic choice for pizza lovers. Ordering from Fratelli during busy evenings could take upto 1 to 1.5 hours So better order in advance Overall, it's a top-notch option for a satisfying pizza.

Super unsatisfied!! Over an hour wait and only ended up getting 2/3 things we ordered! Ended up getting eaten and devoured by bugs and mosquitoes instead of eating my food. Very crowded and many angry customers waiting for their food. Sanitary hygiene was unavailable and were no places to clean our hands, had to get a refund for the pasta as it had not come out after over an hour. Disappointed and expected better from this place. The food was nice but not worth the wait!!!!!!!!!!! ✋

Love everything about this place, from the food to the service and the dining atmosphere. Can't fault the service that we received. The staff was friendly and willing to suggest what to eat. Which was "everything". Ordered the Italian sausage and the Speck pizza. Both extremely delicious. Loved the outdoor dining setup, it felt very casual and cosy. Will be back for sure.

I would like to personally thank the chef for performing such amazing service and facilitating us so well, I had an incredible night at this place. But the only thing that outmatched the quality of service was the excellence of the pizzas, which were some of the best I've had in a while! I live quite far, bit I'm coming back here as soon as I can and bringing all my friends over to enjoy a great night at Fratelli Pulcinella! My best regards to the owners and compliments to the chef ‍

I had to see what it was all about with all the 5 star reviews and it did not disappoint. The pizzas were cooked to perfection in a wood fired oven. The dough of the pizza was delicious. I’m quite particular and this pizza dough was perfect. Seating is outside which is really nice and there is undercover for a few tables. We dined in and we’re probably early so we were the only guests. The chef is Italian, friendly and knows his stuff. We had the buffalo Margherita, prosciutto and capricciosa.

So i was very excited before going because i had heard a lot about the place but i was totally disappointed by the service and food. I ordered around 7.30 and after waiting for one hour it wasn't ready. I had 2 different orders and they lost my order and kept me waiting. Food was okish We asked for extra basil on my pasta and they just kept a single leaf of basil. I won't recommend this place.

What a little gem of a restaurant! The pizzas are outstanding! The dough is super tasty and has a good bite to it! Flavours aren’t the typical ones you see but they are all absolutely tasty! The owner is a legend and bring a nice Italian charm to the experience! Highly recommend if you want good pizza in the area.

You'd wonder at first glance if you made it to the right spot, what with its nondescript, almost like a backyard-turned-popup-resto vibe... but boy, once you get off that initial put-off, you'll definitely enjoy coming to this place! The food is absolutely amazing (we had two half-metre pizzas, 4 flavours alltogether. Great for a family meal); one of the best genuine Italian pizza places. Will definitely come back and bring friends along.

Pizza here is great, and the price is fair. The only missing point for me is that the base can sometimes be a bit too thin and the pointy end of a slice may flop, and drop the toppings. The dough is really nice and I really liked the crust. The pizza also tasted very fresh - will come back for more. We also tried the pasta and that was really good and creamy too. I definitely recommend the place

This place has excellent pizza and I would definitely come back and also recommend. Although the staff are under the pump, they are super friendly. The pop-up style set-up in a house backyard, with wooden furniture and somewhat chaotic ordering process lets it down a tad for me. I wish they had a proper bricks and mortar shop. It would kill the opposition for sure.

I first saw Frateli Pulcinela on instagram as a cool little hidden backyard pizza place. But now they have moved to a premises on Church Street. The service was friendly though a little unpolished as they have been open for less than a week. Pizza was good and we look forward to going back to try the pasts.

When my friends told me about the best pizza they had in Sydney I just had to try it. When we turned up to someone’s backyard, I was dubious, but that soon turned into adoration as I saw the fairy lights, warm pergola and listened to the cool beats. Then I tried the pizza. It definitely will not disappoint. Some of the best pizza I’ve had in Sydney for a long time! These guys are doing something right! Will definitely come back again.

Food is OK, but wait times are super long (50mins to 1hr+) on busy periods, and they seem to have an inefficient serving and calling system. The dining area is outdoor tables in an uneven backyard, not terribly accessible, and the tables are covered in leaves and plant matter. No toilets or sinks so be aware of that too. Not worth the wait in my opinion.

Authentic experience for brick oven pizza. The location is in their backyard so expect things that you will encounter in a backyard feels. Although, they have a closed space it’s still in a backyard location. Other than that the food are all amazing. The chef is very accommodating and nice.

Tucked away behind an unassuming suburban house is a lovely fairy-lit backyard where you can sit down and enjoy this authentic Italian pizza. The crust is thin, light and crispy, the red sauce that we had was flavourful and rich, and garnished with fresh herbs. This will be a great spot for summer, with a welcoming, laid-back atmosphere where you can watch the chef hand-spin the dough.

This might the best pizza in Sydney? Dough is slowly fermented, which results in a light and fluffy base that's very easy on the stomach. Toppings are quality too, especially the Italian sausage. Slightly annoying that you have to use a custom app to pay, but once you tuck in you'll gladly forget about that little inconvenience. Get it before the instagram crowd discover it.

The wood fire pizza oven at this restaurant is an impressive feature that sets it apart from other pizzerias. The oven's high temperature and wood-burning flames create a unique flavor and crispy crust that is hard to replicate with other cooking methods. Watching the chefs expertly cook pizzas in the oven is a treat for customers, and it adds to the overall ambiance and dining experience.
