Will not be coming back to this place, store opened at 11am and my family I showed up at about 12pm on a saterday. The open sign was on, but the door was locked; we asked the other couple, standing there, if they knew what was going on. Apparently, the owner and I'm assuming his team member went out to lunch; as I see in another review, this isn't the first time this has happened either. When the owner did arrive, he didn't apologize; he just asked what we were all there for before he even unlocked the door. My family and I felt really uncomfortable the entire time we were there, just looking at the wood like they couldn't wait for us to leave. I also see from images that he used to sell heat bulbs and such, but now the focus seems to really be only on the exotic animals and no supplies. It would take some convincing for me to go back and support a small business when there are so many other reptile shops in town where I've had a lot better service. If the owner does read this, I'm sure you will remember my family as we had my 14 month old daughter with us, and we felt like we were being watched like hawks by you and your friend like we were going to steal something; if your goal was to get us to leave faster than it worked. If you even explained that you were in the middle of doing a remodel or something and would be getting more wood at some point, we would go back, but you decided to make meh small talk and just stare at us like you couldn't wait for us to leave.

Such a great experience here. Everyone is super experienced and willing to answer all of your questions. Talked with the owner for at least 30 minutes the first time we came in, he answered all of our questions that we had before deciding if we wanted to buy a ball python. The second time we came in it was just as pleasant and we felt comfortable enough to buy one of his pythons. We weren't still sure when we walked in but he made us feel so comfortable and like we were valued, we ended up buying one. The ball python we ended up buying was excellent and adapted to our home very well and we are just in love. He was clearly well loved before we got him and it definitely shows. We came in to buy a feeder rat this weekend and we had the same excellent customer service and they were very interested to see how things were going at home with our new baby. He knew exactly what size of rat we needed, and he recognized us immediately everytime we have come in. Will definitely keep coming back to get our new babies food. You can definitely tell that everyone here cares.

I came in looking for leopard gecko. Didn’t know they have it until I was asked what I’m actually looking for. And they didn’t disappoint. They have the most beautiful morphs I’ve ever seen anywhere, some I’ve never even seen before! They look healthy and active! I was shown a Tangerine POS Rainwater Leopard Gecko and fell in love with her. So I took her home. Owner is so knowledgeable and gave us as much information as possible about the gecko. Unlike my previous experience buying at reptile expo, you better just show up at Freddy’s and you won’t be disappointed. The store is so clean and it isn’t smelly like the usual reptile store in the Valley. I’ve been to so many in Vegas, and none of them are like Freddy’s. They also have bearded dragons, monitor lizards, some beautiful snakes as well as supplies and tanks for your pet reptile, amphibian, or arachnid. Thank you for helping me getting to know leopard geckos!

We have a bearded dragon and leopard gecko at home; we normally buy our insects online, but due to the extreme heat, out of stock inventories, and delays in delivery services, we came here as a last resort but were very pleasantly surprised with the experience! It's small and family-run so it feels cozy, and everyone there cares about reptiles a lot (they even bring their own reptiles to work!). We ordered superworms and wax worms, about 100 or so of each. The prices were reasonable (reptile stores are NOTORIOUS for overpricing), but more than that, the superworms were HUGE!!! Bigger than even the biggest size I've ever bought online, and they were so hardy and lived longer on average than any of the ones I bought online too! They are still a little more expensive than buying in bulk online, but for the size, healthiness, and convenience, they're definitely worth the little extra in cost. Would recommend!

While visiting Las Vegas on a vacation, I went to this reptile shop to waste time before my flight home. While browsing I fell in love with one of his chameleons. Freddy was very welcoming and helpful. He let me interact with the different chameleons to see which one I felt a connection with. My boyfriend also purchased a chameleon and my best friend purchased a bearded dragon. Freddy was able to ship them to Michigan for us and they all three arrived alive and well. He sent us confirmations of the shipping labels and kept us updated of when they were boxed and dropped off to the post office. Freddy’s shop was full of rare and well cared for reptiles. I highly recommend visiting Freddy’s shop.

I was finally able to get my husbands dream snake, Freddy was super nice and knowledgeable . I 100% recommend getting your reptiles or reptile things with him. I had a snake who I rescued from a person here in Vegas who wouldn't eat, he helped me with what he could and even gave me tips on how to help out the snake. This is a man who know what he is talking about and it shows, his store and his snakes are the healthiest I've ever seen here in Vegas and the tamest reptiles by far. if u are looking to start off with snakes or any other reptiles I recommend Freddy's reptiles above the rest hands down. I had a great first time experience going in. The owner, Freddy was very friendly and not pushy, letting me look at the animals before I ask about tarantulas. I was able to come home with a sweet Thai Tiger tarantula and a hide for my Venezuelan Sun Tiger for a great price. I like the relaxed vibe and would definitely come back here again. I went back a second time and got a rare Mexican Golden Red Rump tarantula and a Black Asian Forest Scorpion both at great prices. Freddy knows me too well and restocked on a bunch more spiders I want to add to my collection, Old and Nee World. Go check out his beaded lizards, they are super adorable!

This place is a complete joke, a friend of mine recommended this place to me so I followed his advice I called the location at 12:46PM on Sunday I asked about to see if they have the items I needed the girl who answer was very rude and ghetto but nonetheless she confirmed to have what I was looking for I live in Henderson so drove 40 minutes to this dump arriving at 1:52PM and to my surprise the doors closed all locked I rang the doorbell and waited for 20 minutes nothing I called the number but it kept going to voicemail saying that I called after business hours I would rather give this place a 0 stars

I contacted the owner of this reptile store online interested in one of the super giant leopard geckos that they had. I live in Winchester California and the shop is located in Las Vegas so the owner message me back-and-forth on Facebook giving me giving me pictures and information and anything else I asked for until I was ready to buy my new baby. I paid over the phone and immediately he shipped my baby to me baby to me who was here the very next morning, safe and happy and healthy. Overall it was a wonderful experience and I will definitely keep them in mind when I'm ready to buy another new pet❤

After visiting several reptile shops, we were so happy we decided to try just one more and checked out Freddy's Reptiles. Just from opening the front door, we were so happy it wasn't another smelly hold your breath til you walk out kinda place. It's super clean! Their selection was great! Family owned and operated. Very knowledgeable! All the animals were very clean and healthy looking and you can tell by when they tell you stories about each individual one that they have been loved! Highly recommended! They’ll work with you to find the pet you want within your budget, they even met me here in California to deliver this beautiful snake all the way from Las Vegas… Freddy and his girl, are the sweetest and cutest couple ever! They’re both an amazing team! I highly recommend this shop!

Wanted to personally thank Freddy and his staff for such attention to detail. Everything we had ordered while I was visiting LV came in on time and healthy. My family and I went to four stores while visiting during Thanksgiving break and aside from the best prices and selection, and of course not to mention the cleanliness, meaning it did not smell like a reptile store and the overall care of the reptiles was on point. We now have two new family members. We plan to purchase more from Freddy's Reptiles in the near future.

Freddy’s Reptiles is in my opinion a great place to go to buy your future pet. Not only do they inform you with everything you need, the people there are super friendly, and they let you hold the animals with care. I bought my self a snake. they let me hold it first, let me get comfortable with it. They answered all my questions, put together everything I was going to need, and sooner or later, I brought my snake home. Such an amazing reptile store. My family and I went here yesterday and it was so clean and the smell was good, they sanitized so much that I was impressed . Before touching an animal they made us use hand sanitizer. The prices was so great and the customer service was amazing. The moment we walked in, the two workers greeted us and answered all of our questions. We purchased many items for our tank and turtle. I really recommend this reptile store.

I got a black rough neck monitor from here, it’s beautiful. He helped me get everything I needed and took the time to answer all my questions. After letting me riddle them with questions and still remaining patient he even helped me carry everything to my car. Carlos (the monitor) is very healthy and was just fed right before I picked him up. If there’s anything you need that has to do with reptiles I suggest going to this location.

Very friendly and helpful staff! I asked a few questions about Dubia roaches and the gentleman behind the counter was very informative and helped me decide if breeding then myself would be something I could do. The store was clean and the animals were beautiful, happy and healthy. I will be going there from now on for my bearded dragon's needs. This was one of the Iguanas there and I had to take a photo, so pretty!

Very awesome place to visit and buy from, the owner is very knowledgeable and passionate about reptiles. I got my first ambilobe panther chameleon from him and i’m very satisfied with Shio (that’s what I named the chameleon) he was well taken care of and very healthy. Definitely a cool spot to find very well taken care of reptiles to bring home, I will definitely come back for my future reptiles!

My son birthday party was last weekend!!! I was so happy to meet Freddy and his reptile snake my husband found him on social media We rented this beautiful snake for the birthday celebration. The kids fell in love and he educated them on reptiles. I most definitely recommend everyone to rent his reptiles for your events.

This is just cruel. Owners don’t know how to act. They don’t know how to treat a customer. I went in about a week ago and tried getting the good old ex a nice little reptile. Owner cussed me out after confronting him about the reptile having bad damaging to the skin. This is just horrible. Couldn’t believe a store could do this.

Best reptile store I’ve been to with my wife. Before going I had to check out the reviews and different reptile pages, I must say the negative reviews are lies. I walked in and saw nothing wrong. The place was clean and you can tell the animals are cared for. I even walked out with more knowledge of the snake I had purchased.

It's a clean shop with a variety of animals, fair prices, and nice staff. Also, best enclosures I've seen at a pet shop. (There aren't the small, overcrowded enclosures a lot of pet shops have. You can tell they care about the animals) I'm really glad to have come here.

I went to go find a snake for my child for his 10th birthday and when I came in, it was dirty not very cleanse. The owner was fairly rude to me and the customers and the animals cages and homes were not being cleaned out and changed. I would not recommend!!!

If you’re looking for a scalie companion I can’t recommend this place enough the people here are the nicest. As a financially struggling veteran they understood my struggle and helped me get a beautiful white lip python.

They have a good range of different reptiles, but the couple of times my son wanted to hold one we were told no. They also never order enough crickets no matter what day of the week ive went they had no crickets at all.
