We walked into the church 40 minutes early by accident— but had they not told us, I don’t think we would’ve realized. The staff welcomed us as if we were one of them, despite the fact that we were visiting from America for the weekend and spoke no Dutch. They did not care where we came from or what we believed and they enthusiastically and logically answered our questions. The service inspired us and ignited our passion for God— it spread from the people to us. The Holy Spirit is not merely present here, but the Spirit is alive! As a visitor from a far away place in a crowded bustling city, I felt at home. We hope to come back and see them again one day.

I love Freedom Church. We’ve recently joined the campus in Rotterdam. We were searching for quite a while for a church community that puts God above all else and is passionate about seeing lives transformed through a relationship with Jesus. We were also looking for a community where people where real, where our kids were excited about coming to church and where we’d form deep friendships as we grew in our faith. What a amazing community where church is not a building but the people part of the church, loving in another and doing life together. As an expat Freedom is my family away from home! From doing BBQ (braais), groups, She, picnics to everyday life. Love being part of this community!

Deze kerk bouwt van 3 stoelen, 1 tv en een stapel pallets naar een professioneel uitgevoerde locatie. Maar de mensen en hun boodschap is het beste onderdeel! Zo verwelkomend naar iedereen en zo 'down to earth' over een God in de hemel heb ik nog weinig gezien.

I've been looking for a place to call my church for a while now, and I'm so happy I've found that at Freedom Rotterdam. It's a place full of lovely and genuine people, but more importantly, it's a place with the presence of the holy spirit.
