DO NOT STAY HERE My brother and I recently stayed at Fremont Hotel and Casino. We went out in Fremont for the majority of the night only to come back and find our hotel room had been broken into. The thieves stole the majority of our items; however, we were thankfully not in the room at the time. Upon giving this information to the staff, we were directed to their security team. The only thing they could do was file a report with "corporate" and give us an email address and phone number to call. They said they were not willing to give us any information from their cameras because it had to be reviewed. It has been a few weeks of us trying to receive information from "corporate" and we have heard nothing regarding the circumstances that led to someone breaking into our hotel room or the possible return/compensation for our items. Furthermore, we spoke with the hotel/casino manager the following morning who was one of the rudest and condescending people I have ever met in my life and of course said there was nothing she could do, saying that we would have to talk to "corporate". Based on my interpretation of the conversation we had with the general manager and security manager, this type of instance is not infrequent. This instance caused my brother and I to have to leave Las Vegas a day earlier than planned to get our affairs in order due to stolen money, passports, car keys, etc. Bottom line, there are many places to stay in Las Vegas, do not choose this hotel/casino, rude staff and it is potentially dangerous as people can break into your room with minimal concern from the upper-level people working there based on our experience.

Pleasantly surprised! First of all the location is amazing for the downtown Fremont area. It will be noisy at night and yes, this is an older hotel which is part of the vintage uniqueness, so remember two things – rooms were much smaller when this property were built and soundproofing for hotels was not a thing. Everything else is perfect. Check-in is nice and easy and also done on the app If you are into that. early check-in was granted. All of the staff is extremely friendly. parking is easy. You have direct access from the casino floor to your hotel room in a matter of seconds. The rooms were recently re-done with all the modern conveniences in both the guest room and the shower. This is the best air-conditioning I’ve ever had in a hotel, excellent large screen, TVs, and very comfortable beds. the entire hotel was very clean and once again, the staff is extremely friendly. The restaurant choices are wonderful. You cannot beat the prices on the dinner specials. I highly recommend this place and will return.

There’s a lot to like about this hotel given it’s location and atmosphere. However, you had better hope nothing gets stolen or you have any reason to utilize the hotel’s security team. We had someone enter our room unauthorized and do not know how they did it. The individual stole cash, computers, keys, passports, clothes, bags, and misc items. When we approached the hotel staff they sent us to the security team who was as unhelpful as they were incompetent. They gave us an email to contact for the “investigation” and we never even received a response. We were forced to leave a day early to sort out some things given the missing items and they refused to even consider a refund for the last night, were exceptionally rude and aggressive when confronted, and obviously wanted us to just go away. I imagine if someone cheats at blackjack, they are found and dealt with immediately. If their own guest gets their room entered, which is scary enough, and stuff stolen, nobody seems to care. I advise you stay somewhere else that has a little more care for their guests.

Remodeled, refreshed, updated Gaming Floor with New food Court on NE corner of property. Lanai Cafeteria still open with affordable Breakfast and Lunch Offerings. Same crew and low table limits. The Fremont would mainly appeal to Red Chip ($5) Players. Craps Game have only double Odds. Card Games generally have $10 to $200 Max Bet Boyd gaming gaming house with mix of table games and slot machine adventures. Craps Tables offer double odds with pit person tallying rolls counter on each hand. After playing card games, when you turn in your chips, the Dealer will issue a cash out ticket similar to the tickets issued by slot machines. You take ticket to a Redemption cash out machine or the cashier counter for cash. Fremont Logo Hat Reward for Dice Hands over 30 tosses before a 7 out on their Craps Tables. Also Free Crapshooter Jacket for 40 tosses before seven out.

This casino really surprised me. I thought it would be run down like some other older downtown casinos and have near antique machines. Instead, it was clean and not crazy noisy like many other casinos. The staff were available, attentive, & friendly. They had a pretty good selection of video poker machines ( although still only the older varieties) (compared to most other casinos) and an excellent selection of slots. I would play here again! Many of the newer machines were here that I like. (Luxury Liner, Rich Little Pugs, etc. The casino atmosphere was not crowded I can't comment on the hotel as I only visited for the afternoon.

Very nice stay! Slots were playable. Didn't win much but better than strip slots. Staff brought drinks more than any other casinos I visited. Had old and new slots for a bonus! Most places on had high volatility slots and nothing older. I would definitely recommend and I will stay there again!

I stayed here for my first trip to Las Vegas. This hotel is right off Fremont Street. Everything you need is within walking distance. Our room was small but nice. The staff was very welcoming. Free valet parking. A lot of food options in the hotel and around. Had a great time. The only thing I would say is if you don't want to hear the excitement of Fremont st from your room you might wanna stay somewhere else. For me, it wasn't a problem and I had a child under 1 with me.

Stayed here for 4 weekdays and I have little to complain about. The hotel is old, but has been renovated a couple of times and is currently undergoing more renovations. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. There is a lot of noise from Fremont Street, but that is to be expected. The staff are friendly and helpful. The casino is pretty big and convenient food options are open during the day.

Freemont Hotel puts you directly in the busiest part of the Freemont Street where people go to see entertainment. The valet service was great by Matt parking the car mostly. The bell person Sturat was courteous and friendly, bringing bags to the room. The servers on the casino floor made sure our margaritas were filled. The room was small but cleaned. I would definitely stay again.

The rooms are decent sized (bathrooms are small), beds are very comfortable, nice view, safe and dorm sized refrigerators in the rooms. The rooms have been remodeled since our last stay there. Staff is very friendly. Also with their remodeling, they've added a food hall on the first floor by the casino . Good food choices with a variety.

The rooms are cute and updated but very small...it is less noisy than some of the other hotels on Fremont. Tons of places to go here and always lots of Action. A bit Dirty and with a bit more Homeless population in the vicinity... but still always fun and excitement with street performers and old school Vegas Casinos mixed with updated new features like "Slotzilla" and the "Fremont Experience."

Didn't stay here, but I always stop and gamble here on my trips. Slots are typically better here, craps is much better here. We stopped at the new food court, the renovation is fantastic. Had a Breakfast Burrito from the Cafe inside the food court, it was great.

Room had a mildew smell, carpet was filthy. Bathroom was the worse not dusted dispensers in the shower we're old. Do not think your going to relax and watch TV, basic TV not even basic cable for the price they charge . We had a family reunion and met her. Let me just say, we will not be returning.

Nice place but outside the girls scam people to take pictures with them. When u ask how much they tell you just for tips. Ok now you take the picks and they tell you there minimum tip is 80.00 each and haras you and the people your with to give up the money. And there everywhere outside. Not sure if there part of the hotel but, a huge scam.

For being an older hotel, the rooms are really clean and updated, although small. While the reception desk agents aren't the most friendly or accommodating, slipping them a $20 definitely helps. I have an aversion to smoke due to my asthma, but I don't find the lobby casino too smoky to walk through. The convenience to all the Fremont Street activities is a definite bonus of this hotel.

  • Eric Rust

Didn't stay in a room, although they did offer to get me one when I won 5,000 on the wheel of fortune. Already had one at the Venetian. Maybe they'll give me one next time. Fun casino and like the atmosphere there better then the strip! Let me know would love to review your rooms!

A dated hotel which seems stuck in the past in so many ways. From the casino to the elevators to the rooms. Old rooms, so much dust everywhere and obviously quite noisy due to its proximity to the Fremont Street experience. You're in downtown Las Vegas, which is great of course, but beyond location it doesn't have very much to offer.

  • Lana Lane (Goddess)

This where the partiers go people who are down to earth and like to have a good without spending an arm and leg to enjoy... The buffet at the palace was okay nothing fancy the fried chicken was the bomb I will admit that but it was mediocre and not really a bang for your buck... If you like cheap then you get what you paid for...

  • Patricia Chavira

Review of casino only, not rooms. Older casino on Fremont Street in Downtown Las Vegas. Plenty of places to eat like Tony Romas (Prime Rib for $8.99 from 4:30-6:30 pm) and Second Street Grill (closed Monday and Tuesday) and places to grab a quick snack like Dunkin’ Donuts and Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. Decent slots, too.

  • Asoiva Iata

It's been so long enjoying fremont for da moment ... me and my cuzzo with are team been here over night...customer service is decent the food on fremont is great so much options ofcourse I love food...few more hours back on da road we go...thank u fremont..I needed this ... see u all next time around …

Overall I give them a 3. To be fair they are under construction. Valet service was great, and check in was easy. The rooms are supposed to be smoke free but I smelled cigarette smoke. Restroom was small. It's conveniently located to everything if Fremont st is your thing.

The place is very dated, and the rooms are ridiculously noisy till late due to the proximity to the Fremont street experience. I wsas on the top floor and it was still very noisy. Public access to transportation and food is good. The place is a relic from the 80s. Bathrooms are just as dated. Security in the lobby always

  • Pix Cher

Their buffet is the best for the value in downtown Vegas!! Only $10.99 folks!! Includes beverage and yummy desserts too!! (The only place I ever found that makes baby Eclairs the way my German Father used to make from Memory!! Yum!!! ) and Napoleons too!! Waitresses are extremely a joy!! Stopped twice on recent trip!!

  • R Salazar

The iconic Fremont Casino is beautiful and a fun place to play . Located in the middle of Fremont street across from 4 queen. Tony Romas inside is one of my favorite place to eat. they have great prices and the food is amazing try the surf and turf and the prime rib. And you can definitely loose hours on the tables.

  • Adam Bunch

Visited it but didn't stay, it's right in the middle of all the action. Good gaming, and next trip we are thinking of staying here instead of the strip. The only reason I stay on the strip is for comped rooms.

OK listen up.... If you have never been to vegas, or never been to Fremont st. You just have to experience it. My be the cherry on top of your vegas trip (more then likely) or just the craziness of the strip on steroids. Either way you need to experience it. It should be on everyone's bucket list.

Everyone says it's the best place to gamble! I personally am not a big fan of the bright , noisy colors and the crazy crowds but if that's what you're looking for - this place nails it. Lots to see everywhere you look downtown Very comfortable?/nice to run into other Hawaii locals here

First time stayed at downtown Las Vegas but not the Strip. It was a nice place. Resort fee already included in the room price. Quite comfortable though the room appears a bit smaller. The best part was the staff here. Worst part was no self parking at this facility.

  • M Lacy

The Steak and Lobster is a good deal i believe it was 9.99 for dinner, but you will need A1 Sauce, hot sauce or something to add a little flavor to steak. Vegetables seemed like it was from a frozen bag of mixed vegetables not cooked thoroughly. But hey its Vegas

  • Bennie Ann Duenas Mesa

Great hotel..a really good steakhouse restaurant thats very forgiving on having to dress up...thankful we could wear casual clothes! Prime rib, leg of lamb, oysters, escargot, creme brulee and cheesecake...all were excellent!!! Definitely going back each trip!!!

  • Leann Spurlock

The laini cafe has good food at a reasonable price. Had great patty melt and husband had club sandwich. For breakfast had a great steak and eggs and husband had a huge ham steak and eggs. The ham steak was thick and almost the size of the plate. Great waitress.

  • Varie Da Kollector

I would definitely say avoid working here. I was fired for no reason and wasn’t even given a chance to speak my peace. When one person dislikes you they do everything in their power to get rid of you. Worst place in Vegas I have ever worked. 0 stars hands down

Boyd Gaming basically ruined this hotel, the coffee shop, buffet and upscale restaurant all gone. Coffee shop and buffet were replaced by a mall food court and the restaurant is just closed and vacant. Was one of my favorites.

Loved the casino! Room and bathroom was very small. Loved Fremont street. As you can see, my dad loved Fremont street too. The girls will drag you into a photo, and then want pay, you do not have to pay. Just walk off.

Not my favorite. It's rough, smokey, loud and the roulette dealers take your money as quick as they can. If you want to party, not bad . …
