It seems weird to rate a cemetery, but this spot was so beautiful and the view to the fortress was so nice from here, that I had to give it 5 stars. Very well-maintained cemetery: green and full of flowers. Maybe one of my favourite spots in the city. You can also visit the catacombs for 2€.
Der Friedhof ist ein historischer mystischer Ort, der mich schon als Kind fasziniert hat. Es ist bei jedem Salzburg-Besuch eine Pflicht. Ein herrlicher Ort mit mittelalterlichen Gräbern, Katakomben vor einer mittelalterlichen Festung. Diesen Ort sollte msn gesehen haben!

Scenic cemetery located in the heart of Salzburg with very old catacombs & old Gothic chapels (from the 12th century). It's not a big cemetery but it's really beautiful and picturesque and definitely worth visiting. Mehr
Lovely church, grounds, and catacombs that are mostly free to enter (though €2 for catacombs). If you’re taking the funicular to the fortress, it’s worth stopping by here first even if just a few minutes. Mehr

surprisingly serene for a cemetary. quite interesting to see the dates on the tombstones, some showing burials from the 1700s. it's small, so not much time required for a walk through. Mehr
