Walks back, are you ready to order?(with attitude still) -it's for pick up. Turn around, gets the order, throw it on the front desk, then tells at me dont accept orders if your not ready and walks away. Now as a Dasher I found it really rude, I try to tell her I have a pick up time, and its not even up yet, so I just declined there service. -Just so you merchant know, that timer is there for you to get the order ready, if we walk in before not only we are exposed but we wit 10-20min inside and you dont even let us know, "hey, sorry it's a 5min wait or 10min w.e" just so we are updated and also let the actual customer know as well. Absolute phenomenal, hidden GEM of a pizza and pasta store in the NE area. I was super pleased to see a pizza store nearby when I moved into the neighborhood and decided to give it a shot. 6 months later, I have ordered from Friends over dozens of times, and have never been disappointed. The pizza is fresh, and they make bomb vegan pizza too if you’re plant based! To top it off, it’s a family run shop and the owners are some of the loveliest people I’ve met. They are always trying to elevate the food experience by adding new items to the menu and have great recommendations when you’re in the mood to try out new flavours. All in all, my favourite pizza joint in town, and I’ll be coming back for years to come. Prices are super competitive compared to pizza chains, and you get true quality AND timely service. Do yourself a favour and give them a shot, you won’t be disappointed:).

Usually I don’t post reviews about food and stuff but couldn’t resist myself to post this time. A month ago We visited Calgary for a short trip for stampede and this place was just 2 minutes away from our hotel. We were too late and our favourite restaurant was closed to go dinner, so were not having any other choice except getting food from there. Not expecting, their pizza was the best desi pizza i ever had in Canada! Highly recommended pizza place for reasonable price food with high quality and mouth watering taste. Honestly 6/5 stars. The food tastes way too good for their prices. The pricing caught my eye ordering on skipthedishes so took a chance and got some. LOVED IT. I have ordered and tried most of their pizzas now and have been very happy every time. Found my favorite to be the "Friends Meat Lover" after getting almost all the options. I would reccomend this pizza place to anyone wanting to order some lunch up near 32ave. They make the order quickly and have never had any issues. They do a 2 pizza deal on skipthedishes for about $20 with a couple pops added and it's a ridiculously good lunch for 2 people. Get some pizza from these guys, just do it. It is hands down the best food for this price...ever

We ordered a team meal for our lacrosse team. We ordered lasagne pizza and penne. It was amazing and I told them how many players and family members and they told me how much to order. It was the perfect amount. The service was great delivered on time and they messaged and made sure it was good and that we had enough. He told me if there wasn’t enough he would bring more food. Went there yesterday for the first time. For the portion and taste, it’s worth it. I had the chicken alfredo. Highly recommend. I agree that it’s better than a chain restaurant. Also, not sure about the negative reviews. To me, for the portion, price and quality of food, it’s definitely 5 stars. I’ll definitely come back to try their other dishes. I had high expectations for this place. But their pizza was sooooo dry!!! Got the butter chicken pizza which I always love. There was absolutely no sauce in it at all. Like it was paper dry! And the other pizza which I ordered with regular sauce was also bone-dry. The toppings were yummy but if felt like we were eating cardboard. Like how do you mess up butter chicken pizza? You have to be generous with that amazing sauce. The only saving grace was that the boneless and regular wings and other sides were really good. This place needs to up its sauce ante!!

We’ve visited Friends Pizza & Pasta twice now and both times our experience has been top notch! We got the Tetrazzini Pasta with some moderations & it was exactly what we wanted. The food was fresh, hot, and delicious - best halal pasta in Calgary hands down. Portions are very generous for the price. The owner is super polite & even gave us a free Tiramisu! Would definitely recommend this place to our family & friends.

I am giving Friends Pizza 5 stars over all. Not because they have what I view as being my "favorite pizza " I prefer thin crust. But they have a crispy not too thick crust that I enjoyed. They are generous with toppings, ingredients are fresh, pizza was hot and flavour substantial. I ordered in by phone, and received my food early. Price is very fair also. I will be ordering from them again.

This is not the kind of place I would have gone to for pizza if the choice was mine to start with, but my boyfriend wanted to try this and I am so glad we did. We ordered the punjabi vegetarian and the butter chicken and they did not disappoint. I called at 7 and asked for the pizza to be delivered at 8 and the guy was right on time and was very friendly. I will be ordering again for sure.

We order for pickup here at least once a week and we are never disappointed! Whole menu is awesome. It’s always ready super quick, and the staff are all very friendly and make you feel at home even though you’re just there for a minute or two. Haven’t had any issues, but this definitely strikes me as the place to make things right if there were ever any problems.

As an added bonus they also do Gluten-free pizzas which are equally delicious. Also, try the spicy Ranch that they make in-house--it's great! We will definitely be ordering from here again!

We absolutely love this place. We've ordered many times and every time the food has been fantastic. We highly recommend trying the "paneer masala" pizza, it's phenomenal. I’ve bought a special price pizza for 7.99 CAD. It was ok. Next day I decided to buy the other medium pizza with one topic inside. But the price became 13.12 CAD. I asked the reason for that. The answer was that the second variant comprised of three toppings (double cheese and pepperoni). Unfortunately it was a lie.. do not recommend.

Pizza is so good!! Wings are one of the best I've had in a restaurant. I like that when you pick up your pizza Slice, it doesn't sag like a lot of other pizzas. Plus it tastes goodjust as the next day or even better you hear it up in the toaster oven. Definitely going to be getting pizza here from now on for our movie pizza nights.

How does this place exist?! I’ve ordered delivery from them twice and I can say without a doubt that it’s some of the best value for pizza/pasta in the city! The husband and wife team is awesome as is their food. I ordered the lasagna Bolognese with chicken, eggplant, spinach and mushrooms and it was epic. For me it wasn't just a food but it was a service they let me sample their meat sauce for free with a piece of garlic bread I'm going back and so should you.

DELICIOUS! Ordered for take out for the first time, excellent value and quality. I'm AMAZED with the Pasta, there was such a wide selection and it tasted just like the pasta in Italy! I had the large "Friends Meat Pizza", which is basically a deluxe pizza, which came with 3 drinks & delivery to the hotel for $20. You can't beat a deal like that. This pizza is incredible! The toppings are great quality and the crust on the Italian style is absolutely delicious. Love that they offer arugula and artichokes as options and there is barely a trace of grease in the box. Definitely give them a try. You won't be disappointed!

This place has (censored) delicious pizza! I ordered the FRESCO then followed with the Tiramisu and was blown away with the flavour. I am now in search of new taste buds as my last ones have retired fulfilled and contented.

First time getting pizza from here... absolutely delicious. For people with vegan or vegetarian diets this place is loaded with options. Ended up ordering the loaded vegan pizza and the meat vegan pizza; both 10/10.

Good Pizza! Good Prices! Extremely convenient if you live in Mayland or Vista Heights! To think all this times I've been going to Papa Johns for pickup when this place was so close. This place destroys Papa Johns.

Easy online ordering - the store even called to confirm my order. Two pizzas took about 20 min to prep and they were delicious. Regular crust was good thickness with ample toppings. Will definitely order again!

The pizza was fantastic. The salt and pepper wings, however, left something to be desired. The taste was good, but they were so greasy, the bottom of the box they came in almost fell apart from all the liquid.

Food's great. When I am at my business mentor and friends house she orders from them and it's amazing!! My only hope is that they expand their delivery radius to the NW by Varsity and no where else lol …

As usual the pizza was great, the wings excellent and the wedges really good... Your special of boneless dry ribs, BURNT and over cooked... I'm shocked!!!... I've ordered so many times and this is a first!
