Not sure if this was supposed to be a famous place for fries in Belgium, I walked past earlier and saw quite a number of people eating it. I decided to do some sightseeing 1st and come back at a later time hoping it to be less busy. Indeed the 2nd time I arrived there were fewer customers and I was able to get a seat easily. I also had a chance to talk to the staff for them to recommend me what to order. I heeded their advice to take the Burgerapapa, a local sausage with has various types of meat called Fricandelle and a small fries. I would say the food is not like fast food, except for the fries the rest were only made once order has been taken so it's not really a fast food joint. The burger was very good and the beef was well cooked. The sausage was also good, but the highlight was the fries. It really tasted very nice and goes well with sauces. Not sure how the fries were fried but they were so hot and crispy I have never eaten fries like that before. The meal was cheap and enjoyable. Really loved it. Go easy on the fries because even the petite size can be quite generous. Also the staff were very friendly.

Attente interminable, 3 personnes devant moi et j’ai attendu 40 minutes pour être servi alors que c’était des petites commandes. Les deux serveurs étaient vraiment détendus et ne se préoccupais pas de trop de la file. Je peux vous dire que des personnes sont sorties, le patron doit faire de réelles pertes. Au niveau de la nourriture, rien à dire, c’était très bon, mais l’appétit était plus trop présent, malheureusement…

Accessible mais uniquement au rdc, car pas d’ascenseur pour monter en haut ni pour aller aux toilettes.

Frites pas mauvaises. On était 6 à manger (à emporter) ils ont oublié un burger donc que des frites pour ma collègue qui rêvait d’un bon burger ! On avait commandé une heure à l’avance et ils ont commencé à préparer seulement quand mon collègue est arriver pour prendre la commande. Sans compter que ce n’était pas donné. On a tous été malades par la suite, c’est vraiment décevant pour une si grande chaîne. Je ne recommande pas, il faut vraiment tout revoir.

Très très déçue de mes deux dernières commandes .. la quantité de frites a fortement diminuée, et hier avec mon collègue, nous avons commandé tous les deux une mitraillette belcanto chacun, le pain n'était pas assez cuit, tout mou, peu de frites et le pire c'est que nous avons eu des crampes au ventre directement après avoir mangé (et nous avons malade le reste de la journée). J'espère que vous allez vous améliorer car nous avons toujours bien mangé chez vous et depuis quelques temps ça laisse à désirer.

Used to be our go-to burger place but sadly they removed the veggie burger from the menu and the fries are now made with animal grease so most of us can't eat there anymore. As if that wasn't frustrating enough, on the way back home we almost got run over by the Mini with the Charles logo on it. And judging by the other reviews on here you should either take the logo off the car or not let that person drive anymore cause it's really not a good look.

Stumbled upon this place by chance and was the only place with food after 3pm! The staff was super friendly and recommended me a really delicious sauce topping for my burger. I got the regular cheeseburger. It was better than I expected. Super good. Highly recommended to eat here! Fries were delicious too. Ps: the upstairs seating is a fun spot

The fries were good and reasonably priced. Same goed for the classic fried meats. But the "gourmet" burgers and croquettes were somewhat overpriced - especially when the burger was lukewarm and slightly raw. Otherwise it's a nice friterie to visit if you want to experience a typical Belgian friterie.

je commence par la seule note de positive . Les frites sont bonnes ... mais les crudités dans le burger pas fraîches ! Les oignons frais étaient loin de l'être ( mal de ventre toute la soirée) les tables très sales et pas débarrassées ( incivilités des clients mais à surveiller par le personnel)

Sacrée déception... Arrivés à 10 à un quart d'heure de la fermeture (20h45), il est vrai, et bien, on s'est fait "jeter" simplement. Dommage, le gérant a préféré fermer à temps que de servir 10 personnes (même à emporter). Bref, suis pas prêt d'y retourner

Place looked nice and interesting, but the service wasn’t good. People working there seemed not experienced enough, slow and also not respecting there are customers waiting at the counter to order. It made me feel they made fun of us speaking English.

Prima friet voor een snackbar! Gebakken met aandacht, en geholpen met een glimlach. Goed voor een snelle hap!

Good fries, nice interior. Waiting time was OK but we were there alone a that time. There is only one sink for the restrooms which was out of order, being kind of unpleasant in eating environment.

Used to have very nice vega burgers, nice recipes and always enjoyed the fries. Now the fries were light and soft, hamburger was nothing special. It became a regular snackbar.
