First of all, I never write reviews, & I really wanted to enjoy this experience. I consistently work 80+ hours & loathe shopping. I was looking forward to have someone help me find pieces I was looking for w/out having to spend hours at different stores. I did a style session bc I don't always wear the same size, hate extra errands in my limited free time, and would rather get on the same page with a stylist, so we can be efficient in getting my sizes/looks in the future. I said I preferred to be contacted by email, but my stylist was texting me. My phone number was a landline. Didn't notice bc I'd checked I preferred email. Obviously I got no update, questions, confirmation, etc. In my appointment, she hadn't prepared/pulled anything & items were in the wrong sizes, so a lot of time was spent w/her pulling more items. I said I was in process of rebuilding my wardrobe and was looking to get specific pieces. Due to her being unprepared/not paying attention, most items weren't w/in budget. Sorry not paying $120 for a white tank top/$180 for a meh blouse. We also didn't vibe. I hate to fault her for that; but it was pulling teeth, and she never seemed to get it. It would be one thing if I had left feeling like we ended on the same page, but it's another to leave feeling like she didn't really get it, discouraged to try it again, that she wouldn't be able to put together a box, and anxiety in having to tell her you're switching stylists. All I wanted was classy, timeless, mostly classic looks with some modern updates like a Meghan Markle. But no, she gave me some of the tackiest pieces, some inappropriate items, and a few basics I didn't love, none of which fit the look I was going for. They also weren't the types of pieces I'd requested. She pulled a striped blazer that is probably forever burned into my brain (black w/thick burgundy &thin gold stripes). I gave up.SO BAD. I don't think a classy, classic look is that difficult, esp. at these price points, so I was incredibly frustrated.I was trying to keep an open mind and said maybe to probably a lot more than I should've bc I was relieved to see a piece I didn't totally hate. Fast forward - I had been trying on, & I always try to be present and not on my phone constantly. She mentions she'll be late to plans & to start wrapping up. I ask her the time, and she says 12:30. I had to be in Plano at 1pm. My appointment was at 9:30AM. I thought it had felt so long due to how painful it was, not that it had been HOURS. We still hadn't gotten anywhere. I wish she had managed the time we had and been mindful enough to say we don't have a ton of time left, do you want to try more looks, nail down your keeps, or actually put together an outfit? None of these things happened. So she's rushing scanning my items, and I thought she was only adding yes's. I figured we'd do a rapid fire round of maybes. I wasn't too concerned bc she said I had 30 days to return. I said yes OR MAYBE to a decent amount of items trying to keep an open mind and would mull it over at home. If she had said you have 5 days to get a refund, I would have made it a priority. 2 weeks later I discover all of the maybe's were in there. Not happy. Still hate them after the right shoes, most of the basics were still meh. I still kept a lot of the meh pieces. I text her to return & she can't meet until random times, all between 9-5. This is such an inconvenience. I need to return before 30 days to get a refund. FUN FACT - YOU HAVE TO RETURN W/IN 5 DAYS TO GET A REFUND! She did NOT mention that. I'm livid. I have $1,600 of merchandise credit on a $5K purchase where I don't love all of the clothes I kept. I'll donate them in 2 years w/tags. I want my $1,600 back, or at the very least to be able to go online and pick my own clothes to use up my credit. I don't even know what I'm going to do now. I didn't get my requested items, have pieces that will likely live forever in my closet, and have $1,600 being held for the ransom of my time/energy.

Quite frankly, I’m a little surprised to see so many 1-star reviews. My experience with my Stylist, Rachel Baker, has always been exemplary. I always fall in love with the options she sends me. The only struggle I ever have comes from me being a little “chesty”, so some options don’t fit me up top when they fit me everywhere else. That’s a tough thing to work around, but Rachel still finds me many outfits I can work with. I have many staples in my closet from great designers. She has dressed me for a trip to NYC, work, and a photo shoot for my company branding. If you aren’t in the market for spending a little extra on clothes with designer labels that will last a long time, this isn’t for you. What I love the most about the program is that Rachel will sometimes text me out of the blue to remind me of credits I have or let me know of fun new outfits she just got in that she thinks I would like. I’ve always been really happy with the service and have a closet full of clothes that I probably wouldn’t have gone out to buy for myself because many of them are outside my comfort zone, but are so much better than things I would’ve picked myself.

I have only received one box and kept three things. There were quite a few things that were not my taste but it was only my first box, I wouldn’t expect Sarah my stylist to get my style the first time especially since I don’t really understand my style lol! Sarah was very nice and easy to communicate with over text. Are the clothes more expensive than what I normally buy, yes, but that was the whole purpose of me trying them out. I needed to upgrade the quality of my wardrobe since I only bought fast fashion type pieces due to them being cheaper. You don’t have to buy the whole wardrobe they send and you can specify if you are shopping for a specific event/occasion. I am trying to upgrade and replace my whole closet so I wanted to start here to get an idea of what I like and what brands fit my style and body type. All in all a great service! I wished I was in Dallas to try it in person!

I rarely write reviews, but this business deserves one. After not losing the 20 lbs I gained from the stress of the pandemic, I was feeling like a frumpy, middle-aged, mom. I lived in the only clothes I could fit in, yoga pants! I decided to take a chance and order a box from Front Door Fashion. My stylist, Jasmine, has been nothing short of a miracle worker. Not only did she listen to my preferences, she somehow extrapolated very little info into fabulous pieces that I would definitely have missed on my own. She found items that not only fit, but flattered my problem places. I now have exactly what I wanted, a mix-and-match wardrobe that makes me feel beautiful and confident. Thank you so much!

I’ve used many similar services, Trunk Club and Stitchfix- Frontdoor fashion was my least pleasing experience. There was no correspondence before I got my package- I had no idea what they were sending. She sent 3 outfits with somethings I could wear. I fell in love with a little tank that was over $100! And some amazing pants at a fair price. I couldn’t bring myself to buy the tank. Everything was really expensive. The descriptions of outfits were printed on faded paper- everything seemed very archaic compared to the other sites. No directions on returning items either- I guess I have to drive them to a UPS place. I live in the country! I will not be using them again.

I've done fashion boxes in the past and they were great for the first order but then it was like no one was listening so I quit them. Front Door Fashion popped up on my sponsored FB ads recently one day and after reading the comments, thought I'd give it a try. My stylist Akilah reached out to me via text and phone and actually LISTENED to what I requested. I liked the first box so much, I immediately ordered my second box. I just started a new business and needed a different wardrobe than what I already had and Front Door Fashion gave me a good start! Most of the clothing is in my price range and good brands with good quality. I can't wait to order my third box!

This company is a scam and does things very unethically. We tried a few items from them. We sent first ones back. My girl thought she would give them another shot and ordered again thinking she got s different lady that understood what we were looking for. We tried them and didn’t like them. We sent them back tags and all. They claimed the tags had been taken off and continued to charge our card. The then proceeded to tell us the first time they didn’t charge us as a courtesy. Again no one once communicated to not tags off or you would be charged. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

I've never ordered a box before from anywhere so was pretty nervous that I wouldn't end up getting crazy charges I couldn't get out of or that it would be a hassle. Before my box was sent I was texting back and forth with my personal stylist, I sent her pics of things I liked - everything was spot on. She got my size and look just right. Even the jeans fit like a glove, which never happens. The clothes def aren't cheap, these aren't target brands, imagine more like Ann Taylor prices, but they look great. I kept a few pieces and will order another box.

I never thought someone would capture my style until I signed up for Front Door Fashion, and got Baylee. Her attention to my Pinterest and feedback (always impressed), and allowing her, a professional, to flourish and provide curated boxes that I truly feel inspired by, is amazing. She has the capacity to get you and encourage the development of your style and brand. Reach out to FDF and request Baylee. Also, friends and family, when you can’t think of a gift over the holidays, give your loved one the power to choose themselves!

I have been purchasing from Front Door Fashion for over a year now. My experience has been fabulous. Rachel Baker is my stylist and has been from the beginning. She is so great I see no need to change. If you are looking for something similar to Stitch Fix(which I didn't like) you will not find it with Front Door Fashion. You are buying designer brands here and they are not inexpensive. If you know that going in, I can't imagine there would be any other issues with these guys.

While I did like the fashion picked out for me, the prices were very high. When I returned the items, I was not reimbursed for all. I was told that they didn't receive it back although I am positive it was in the box. When they responded saying they didn't receive it, they kept mistaking it for a sweater although the item in question was a t-shirt. They have still not resolved it or returned my money. I will never use this service again or recommend them.

Edit- I am happy to report that after seeing the review, they called to explain the issue and issued a refund! You get a lot of outfits, they are good quality. I enjoyed the experience however, I was super disappointed when a pair of ear rings broke after the first wear. I reached out several times to find out how to have them replaced and never heard from anyone. They are too expensive for bad customer service.

I love this company. I have tried several other box subscriptions that do not deliver on the quality of items I am hoping for. Although I don't keep everything from every box, I LOVE how good they are with finding me the right fits and style. I also love working with my stylist MC. She is very helpful! This is the only subscription I use now!

I so enjoy seeing what beautiful, fun, stylish pieces will arrive in my Front Door Fashion box! Mary Sanford, my stylist, does a great job of picking wonderful pieces for me. I've also recommended FDF and Mary Sanford to friends and family, and they've all been equally pleased as well!

Love Front Door Fashion! Kate Davis always pulls the cutest things for me. She asks the right questions and really takes my feedback into account. My style sessions are an absolute blast and I end up with great pieces each season. Never going back to Stitch Fix!

In the past I used other companies and they would not send me anything I asked for. Front Door sends me amazing outfits and I usually keep so many items. Love their stylists and selection, I am older but do not want to dress like it.

Kathryn’s personal style and taste resulted in perfect selections for me! I highly recommend her to anyone needing to fill needs in their wardrobes or get some statement pieces, especially this time of year. Kathryn is amazing!

  • D Royce

Excellent personalized styling experience with Kathryn! The pieces she selected were exactly what I was looking for to update my professional wardrobe, and style for a recent vacation.

I don’t normally leave reviews, but I have to say my absolute favorite go to work outfit came from Front Door Fashion. I will definitely buy from them again.
