This is going to be long one.. cause there is just so many things to say about Fulller-Sheffeild. Funerals are never easy, and going from never having planned one to planning one unexpectedly, on top of dealing with the loss, was a tough place... until I contacted Fuller Sheffield. From the very first call Joseph was TheBest. Without even having a contract yet, he started helping our Family, getting some authorizations completed, forms signed, contacting correctional facilities, etc. That right there spoked volumes for me?! He jumped in with no problem and started handling things I didn’t know a clue of but was going to have deal with. Joseph took care of all that before we even met. Their packages were also affordable and included so many loving things other homes were adding additional charges for. Calls after calls getting pricing, my heart dropped every time. It was ridiculous the pricing of some places with so little being included. Joseph started listing off all the items their services included and I was just waiting for another crazy number, once he totaled everything, I had to repeat it, cause I thought I heard it wrong. But nope, their packages were amazing! It included everything we wanted for our services. Planning and during the Services, Chelsea and Joseph stayed on top of everything. They really listened to our wishes and made sure everything went as planned. They were always available when we called. Made sure we didn’t need anything else during the services. The Service was beautiful. The Memorial Portrait created brought tears to our eyes. He looked so good in it. It’s something that we are going to cherish forever. After the Services our Family received this care package that had more items to remember Him by. Just another ⭐️! We were able to get our loved one sent Home the way he would have wanted and for that I’m always going to be Thankful for finding Fuller-Sheffield.

Joseph was exceptional with the care of my father. I was a young and unexpected grieving daughter and he explained everything to me thoroughly. Joseph was timely but never pushy or ever rushed me. He knows how to talk to people. Joseph is personable and patient. I was very pleased with his attentiveness and how well he handled getting my Dad's body to Alabama as well as making me fully aware of all the options I had. My Dad's body was presented to me in a professional and peaceful way I really liked the individual room they had him in and the fact that I was alone and scared to see my Dad by myself and Joseph stood beside me and supported me through that moment and allowed me to take my time. He also spoke with me afterwards and was very friendly. There is not doubt in my mind that this is his calling. Joseph's demeanor and intellectual approach to dealing with death is superior. He felt like family but at the same time a professional who knew his stuff. I would trust him with my own services if he is still in business at the time of my death. This review is far past due, but with all the difficulty that comes with mourning it was tough to find time to sit down and write it. My younger sister and I were in charge of handling my mom's arrangements and as two young women, we had no idea what to plan for or what we needed to do. Choosing Fuller-Sheffield as the funeral home to handle my mother's passing was the best decision we could have made. Brandon, the funeral director, provided service above and beyond right from the start. He helped us get what we needed to arrange military honors at her service, he was available to answer questions via text and responded quickly even after hours. He remembered the little comments we made about my mom in passing, like how she loved her patio garden and sunflowers, then incorporated that motif into her memorial slide show and program without us having to ask. He even helped to get my mother's ashes as quickly as possible so that I could have them when I left town, and stayed in the office late so that I could pick them up when they were ready. And even a few weeks after my mother's service, he helped us to get some additional memorial bookmarks made up for family members who didn't receive one. We're so grateful to have had Brandon and his staff during this tough time.

I am still in my grieving stage but I can honestly say that Mr. Joseph Brewer and the entire staff did a remarkable job with making this a pleasant experience for me during this time of sorrow. They serviced My Daddy, Mr. Lawrence Washington to the highest honors and when they had the United States Air Force to come and pay tribute to him as a veteran that served this country and paid totally dedication to him I was more than satisfied. So many family members and friends were truly grateful to have shared in this magnificent memorial service for this incredible man of honor, Mr. Lawrence Washington. This has and still is a hard pill to swallow but Joseph Brewer and the entire staff is still making sure that I am making it through my days and they let me know that I can call on them whenever I need too. 100 STARS are needed for the service that I received from Fuller-Sheffield during a difficult time in losing my oldest brother. My brother passed away in Austin, Tx and I live in Louisiana. With no family in Austin, I had to handle all business from afar with only having to make one trip to Texas. That trip is where I found this funeral home and met Brandon Griffin. He gave me over the top service from beginning to end. Phone calls answered at all times, emails respond was right away, price that I was quoted never changed, setup for funeral all the way in Atlanta, Ga was perfect, and the professional attitude and courtesy was unbelievable. Even on the day of the funeral in Atlanta, I left some paperwork back in Louisiana, Brandon was able to get a copy of it over to the military cemetery before my brother and the family arrived. This was at 8:00am. I cannot thank Brandon and this funeral home enough and this review is no were near enough of how happy I was that I decided to use their services.

This was our first experience losing someone close to us where we were responsible for the funeral arrangements. I called multiple places and Fuller Sheffield was the one that stood out the most just from that initial 5 minute conversation with the funeral director. My experience funeral planning with Joseph and the team at Fuller-Sheffield was great. I came to them not knowing anything about the different options for funerals, in the midst of a pandemic, and largely planned from out-of-state. Joseph and the team took the time to help figure out the plan that would be best for my loved one, and ensured that I handled all necessary in-person paperwork while I was still in state. They ensured that the planning process was organized and easy. The facilities were clean and had plenty of space, with hand sanitizer stations in various locations. I sent an email to Brandon one night very late after talking to my Preacher about the service. I was not expecting him to reply until the next day. He replied that night. We really felt like family and the love and care the staff showed our family made this sad day great. My mom would have loved everything. From the program to the staff on a scale 1 to 10 my score is a 100. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. This was the first time I had to take the lead with something so hard. Brandon walked us through everything. He was there as if he was holding my hand. Although I know he would be there for my boys, I will work with them to plan my home going ceremony.

From my personal experience with Fuller-Sheffield Funeral Services, I can say that the Management and Staff are very caring, courteous and sympathetic to the needs of the families. My family and I were welcomed and treated with the utmost respect during our time of bereavement. The manager was very attentive and patient. The building was always upkept and had a pleasant aroma. They even had a play room for the kids! They offered my family refreshments EVERY time we came by, but the greatest experience was the attention to detail for our loved one. It's been over a month now and I can give my review without a lot of emotion attached to it. During the preparation of my loved one it all went smoothly. Very pleasant and attentive to our needs, my mom look very nice from the makeup, hair and all. The service was great the program was awesome. The only disappointment was the blanket the way the picture came out on the blanket it didn't look nothing like my mom the entire family and friends was not satisfied. Also it don't seem like they care to make it right as far as the blanket is concern.

The service was even more exceptional than my last experience with Fuller Sheffield, my heart was so filled with joy and it was hard for me to be sad when I saw the exceptional job they did on my dad.
