These people are really not professional at all. They tell you something one time and change it in a matter of time. I won’t prefer anyone to go there. Very bad experience. I just went through more reviews and I got the same experience as one of the other customer. You paid in full for something and you don’t have it there when you called regarding pick up. They said they can get another piece from another store. The thing you guys have to consider that it’s reliable to accept your solution for some mistake you have done is if you can replace that with a new piece. Anyways as I am not the first customer with same experience it is evident that you don’t care about reviews. Just letting the people know that just to be careful when purchasing something from there and make sure that you ask the staff to put a sold sticker on it in front of you. They did gave me another one but that’s not the same one I purchased from you. The side screws connecting beds heads are not fitted propery. I agree that I can’t complain about it because you have already said that you are not responsible for anything but It has got damage on the leg side piece and corners which wasn’t on the suite that I purchased. I called them to tell about that they said to me that I called ferntrygully branch and to hang up the phone and call again and the dandenong branch will pick up the call were I had brought up the number from google were it’s saying dandenong branch. Then I realized that there is no point in talking to them anymore. If they think that they have done something great by doing a free delivery it’s not. They were selling another faulty piece to the customer They should have refund my money instead of offering another piece. I am not mad to put a bad review for nothing.

I have recently bought a pillow top double size mattress from Melbournians Furniture (Furn House Dandenong) and I’ve been a customer for them since 2013 for mattresses and furniture. (The bed frame, I am using for said mattress is bought from Fantastic furniture and previously also I had double size mattress bought from Melbournians Furniture few years back which fit well top the frame). Anyway, when I got my new mattress it’s short to the bed frame by 10cm lengthwise and 5cm widthwise. I can see the floor & put my hand through clearly from the gap. As it’s significant error in size I call them and advise, and I was asked to drop a mail to customer services with photos and details. I have done that showing clear photos, after that they wanted me to send photos of measuring the mattress, and then they wanted mattress to put on the floor upside down and measured and many more. I have done all and still they came back and ask for more as that is not correct. And when I checked actually this mattress is smaller than the Australian standard double size mattress. What I can't understand is when we can see the floor through a big gap with the mattress on the bed frame which the photo I have sent to them, they still try to get check measurements and argue on that without admitting this product is wrong. I was tired of all extra work I have to do and it’s not easy to play around with a mattresses. I am just letting you all know the way they handled the situation which is really disappointing. As I mentioned earlier, I have bought many things from them and I learnt they have no value to their customers once they sold an item. I am not recommending them at all to anyone else now.

I bought a bed, mattress and two side tables. The side tables for which I paid were broken when they checked their warehouse and without even letting the customer know they took the decision themselves and send me an email saying that we are providing different bed sides. Then after delivery I checked the mattress it was small from every side and was not at all fitting in my queen size bed. I had to email their customer support initially they were not convinced at first but with lot of argument they agreed to exchange the mattress within 7 days. I had to follow up with them after 9 days and their response was that don't have mattress and they will refund the money for the mattress. When I purchased the mattress I negotiated the price with the sales man he took 100 dollars off from the mattress price and 60 dollars off from the (bedsides + bed frame). But when returning me the money of the mattress they said they gave me discount only on mattress that is 160 dollars discount on the mattress and dint return me the whole amount which I paid for the mattress . So actually they dint return my 60 dollars in total and I had to go through lot of hassle. GUYS PLEASE BE AWARE OF THEM THEY ARE SWEET WHEN YOU GO TO THE SHOP BUT TRICK YOU IN A CERTAIN WAY THAT YOU WILL BE IN LOSS. PLEASE CHECK THE INVOICE PROPERLY AND ASK THEM TO WRITE DOWN THE SEPERATE PRICE OF EACH ITEM ON THE INVOICE. WOULDNT SUGGEST ANYONE FROM MY FAMILY OR FRIENDS TO GO TO THIS SHOP.

Absolutely terrible- do NOT waste your time or money. The product itself is faulty with defects in the manufacturing- table legs do not align, cut outs missing and the front drawer does not sit properly with visible defects showing. Ordered the Alice bedside tables in white ash which has been out of stock because I received an email notification that it was back in stock. After a week of nothing sent an enquiry as to order status and was told the items were not in stock, shipment was estimated for 3 weeks time. After 4 weeks passed still nothing, followed up again and told shipment delayed- this happened twice more. After 9 weeks was told the item has shipped after I enquired yet again and was given a tracking number with no information on the delivery company. Took another week to get the delivery company and the tracking number information to follow. Item eventually arrived and I put it together to find major faults in the actual product- legs not aligning, the front drawer sits out, screws are visible as in the wrong place and both tables are different with these defects. This company’s communication is terrible - while they are responsive if you ask what’s happening they do not advise any changes or updates. Their products are very poor and the entire company seems dodgy operating by operating under two names, Furn House and Melbournians Furniture. Do not order anything from these companies!!

INV 00014878 1st of all, order didn’t arrive on the date, the sales lady forgot the order to arrange it. I had to take another day off to get the delivery. Then again dealing with the defect dining table: Purchased in Feb 2020 Emailed customer support and Customer support person took a one month to understand the issue. I have send pictures and the videos of the defect table and she kept on asking to reassemble where issue can’t be fix and asking to visit the store. I even went to the Dandenong Store. Instead of replacing or giving me a refund for the defect dining table, I was given false information to drag this matter for weeks. Requested for a replacement and they can only do between Monday to Friday 10-5pm. I’m working in the city and request them to arrange it on Weekends and Sale person keep on saying they can’t deliver on the weekend. So, Sales Person need me to take a day off from work to get the replacement. Sales person never understand how much effort I’m putting to get this defect table fix. I am losing my time, money and the whole use of the dining table. So disappointed and never ever buy or recommend to anyone else. We paid for the furniture and not getting zero percent of help from the melbourniansfurniture..

Really bad customer service, lack of accountability and really don't care about the customer. Considering whatever you want to buy can be found at the same price and quality at many of their competitors, save yourself the trouble and don't buy anything from this place, unless u enjoy poor customer service and dealing with people that shouldn't even be in business because they don't understand how to treat customers. Basically had to call constantly to see if stock for the bed I ordered had come in and then my delivery way delayed because no-one bothered to call me back so I could finalise my payment and then they had the nerve to want to charge me extra on top of what I was already paying for delivery for their mistake. I was told either pay or what another week for delivery and I live 20 mins away from their warehouse. I eventually decided to organise my own delivery as their refund process also required me to chase them and based on experience with them I didn't trust they would be forthcoming with a speedy refund. This was one of the worst experiences ever, and the bed quality is nothing special for what we paid.

BUYER BEWARE! If I could give zero stars I would. Delivery drivers damaged couch which was purchased via their selling through ‘Catch of the Day’ under the name ‘The Melbourians’. Provided photo evidence as well as detailed description of what happened and they advise that their Delivery Driver denies entirely what happened so calling me a liar and not honouring any responsibility for their quality of service and care for not just your items purchased but their customers. Couch was damaged before it even had a chance to be used. You cannot contact anyone on their listed contact details. catch of the Day customer service team have been amazing and understanding though but are also being strung along by the poor customer service of this business. BELIEVE the negative reviews you read about their customer service and by that alone I HIGHLY recommend you take your business elsewhere. UPDATED: When you search for The Melbournians this is the same company. I was also told I signed for the item but did not or was never asked to sign so the driver fraudulently signed on my behalf.

This is a criminal organisation, stay away at all costs! These people have no ethical or moral compass with zero interest customer service. They sell poorly made furniture that's not as advertised and try to get away with it. They refuse to provide you with a direct contact number when dealing with disputes so you're forced to waste time exchanging emails with uneducated people on the other end who are apparently "customer service" representatives. What's more is that they refuse to comply with Australian consumer laws when it comes to product returns which is astounding. How are these idiots still in business? If you're looking for a furniture place, this isn't it. Stay away and save yourself the headache! ***In response to the owner's reply**** If you had any interest at all in the welfare your business, you'd be well aware of the subpar job that your poor excuse of a "customer service" team are doing. I won't get into detail here but if you provide me with your direct contact number I'd be happy to give you a call to discuss the issue.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. From bad delivery to cheap, nasty furniture that breaks before you even get the chance to use it, this has been the absolute worst experience I've had with a company. I am currently sleeping on a mattress on the floor and have a bunch of useless pieces of wood in my garage that were meant to be a bedroom set. This broke into pieces before I even had the chance to put the slats on the bed. I've been back and forth emailing a total of 18 times over the past two weeks trying to get a refund for these unusable pieces of furniture and this poor excuse for a company is trying everything in their power to dodge responsibility. It's no wonder their Facebook page doesn't allow you to leave reviews or they'd be out of business by now. Currently in the process of trying to contact the ACCC to get some assistance so I can get my money back and buy a decent bedroom set elsewhere. Buyer beware!

I would advise any person to avoid purchasing from this company. I spent over a week, sitting on the floor, after paying for my suite without any response to phone messages or emails. Other companies deliver next day. The suite was eventually delivered by one man (an extra $180.29) who was wearing a back brace and said he was on light duties from Worksafe on Workcover payments. I advised company Rep & the delivery guy I'd had recent spinal surgery & hip replacement. I was left with a lounge room of huge cardboard boxes; a less than great result after I was over $1,180.29 worse off for this horrific experience. This is an overseas company which doesn't have any contact between Aust & warehouse or showroom other than via an email, The phone number listed is not monitored or answered; I left 6 messages about the whereabouts of my suite, without any response. This company is being investigated by Ombudsman.

I brought a bed frame with side tables and a mattress earlier this year in January. Firstly they delivered it late and on the day of delivery they delivered wrong mattress and asked me to pick up the right mattress from the warehouse. I did that without any complaints. After about 3.5-4 months i had issues with my mattress for which i paid around $500 and they are simply refusing to help me. They asked me for time to resolve but I didn’t had any contact with them from last 4 weeks. They aren’t answering my calls and emails. This is very disappointing. They just think you as a headache rather than a customer. Don’t go here and waste your money. Not at all reccommend. Ask Eleesa for invoice number⬇️

Ordered a whole bedroom suite at the start of the covid pandemic, had to wait for items to be shipped (no fault of melbournians due to the situation) decided in the meantime I wasn't 100% certain I'd made the right choice. Cannot thank the lady I dealt with at Dandenong enough (sorry I'm terrible with names! ) It took one single visit to the showroom, she made all the calls necessary to swap bedroom suites, organised delivery and 1 week later I was the proud owner of a beautiful new bedroom suite that i absolutely love!!!! I received fantastic customer service and have a bedroom i love so winning all round!!!

0 star for the product. We bought leather sofa for 2500$ which start getting wear and tears just in 6 months. There are so many places it started getting damage. We emailed them they are just making us fool by saying that this happened because of your negligence which is not the case as nothing can damage just few months. We have another 5 year old which we bought from somewhere else which is in very good condition till now. And they are keep saying that we are not maintaining it. Not ready for the replacement , not good customer service. Very bad experience. Poor quality sofas. Doesn’t recommend.

OMG BE AWARE OF THIS COMPANY! WORST SERVICE AND THE ITEM WAS DIFFERENT TO THE PICTURE! I purchased a bed online and when I received it, the colour looked nothing like the picture on line. I was told that colours can vary slightly but this was a completely different colour. When I complained there was no apology, just basically there’s nothing we can do! End of story. I wish I could post the picture up here for you all to see!!! Such a terrible experience and very upsetting as we are still sleeping on a mattress on the floor after buying it over 4 weeks ago!! $800 down the drain :(

Fantastic, beautiful product. The workmanship for the price is outstanding and the fact there is no assembly is an absolute dream. However I had delivery and customer service issues. My delivery day was changed with zero notice which really messed around my work schedule, and it was often very hard to get in contact with the store. I understand times are tough at the moment but I’ve used various companies for my move during Stage 4 lockdown and everything just seemed a little disorganised. The product I bought is perfect though, and for that I would use the company again.

Strong recommendations close the store if you don’t have stuff in Shop to give to people and stop asking people if they buying from store they have to travel Noble park for pick up themselves otherwise pay extra for delivery (No other option).This is the 1st store where staff don’t care about sale or customer on the top they saying if you wanna pick up themselves go to Amart furniture or other stores as we only do delivery or store pick up will be in Noble park. Will lodge complaint about this behaviour and stupidity.

Most pathetic customer service. the beds don't have the tools to build them. i asked them to pick up the bed from my apartment as i wanted to return it and even asked them to deduct 20% restocking fee (As per terms and condition, “Returned items which are non-defective are subject to a 20% restocking fee”.) and both way shipping cost if the item returned in original freight worthy condition. the owner still declined to pick up the bed. DONT BUY BEDS FROM THIS PLACE. THERE ARE BETTER DEALERS AVAILABLE IN THE MARKET.

Don't buy the furniture from them. Their furniture are really bed. .They send u damge furniture. And after that if u tell them the furniture they diliver was damage then they kicking u here to there. They don't have any communication between their staff. Don't buy furniture from them. They r not a good people. Material also a very bed. They ripping people off. I ordered a bedroom suite in November. It says despatched on 13th December, I'm still waiting for it. I have sent emails to no response. I have tried ringing to no answer, no one is picking up. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. I have now lost $800 for something I have not received. No response or answer when I try to contact and enquire regarding the matter. NOW I WILL be requesting refund due to all this waiting, no response and had to buy bed elsewhere. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

Its ok, the furniture is nice but our experience there wasnt the best as we asked for a soft to medium firm mattress and we were recommended one and i said "this one is to firm" and i was told it would soften up in time and 3 years later its still as hard as it was first day. So my rating is more based on customer service and the staff at the time and their lack of knowledge of the products they are selling not the actual furniture. It wasnt cheap either waste of money.

I was looking for an “accent” chair for my lounge room - almost as soon as I walked into the store I saw it - the perfect chair!! The salesman - Jeremy - was helpful but not pushy - I have had some horrible experiences shopping for furniture recently!!! He handled the purchase easily and quickly, organized the delivery for me as well. I can’t recommend him or the store highly enough - the range is vast and the service is great and the price range is great too!!!

Worst company ever!! Service is absolutely disgusting. Wont admit fault, refuse to take ownership or responsibility for there products. Google should really have a -option. Company need some serious educating on consumer laws. I basically threw money out the window, give money get nothing at least when you throw money away you dont get incompetent staff responses (Alan and Evan). This company has an interesting range of furniture. We found everything we wanted and at a good price. The saleswoman in Dandenong store was very polite, she placed the order quickly and accurately. The warehouse staff helped load the heavy boxes into our car. However, the quality of the furniture that we bought, can be estimated as average. In general, we were happy and in the future may again buy from this company something else.

Really bad customer service from there online customer service. Bought a 7 seater sofa and it was with full of problems. They don't want to replace anything even under 6 months of purchase if you have any problems with products. They will start making you fool with emails. Won't replace or refund. Waiting from 4 months for replacement. 30 emails to them but no replacement up to today. Good luck with your purchase with them

I processed two payments on their website because there was a error message saying the first payment did not go through. Well both payments were taken out of my bank for over $3000. I called and was told by an indian lady to write a letter to explain what happened. I said i am calling to tell you. She then hung up on me. Terrible custom service. I have lodged a chargeback with my bank. Avoid this company!

WORST PURCHASE EVER!!!! Bought 2 bedside tables, received 2 different ones when they were supposed to be the same. Warehouse error, they didn't have any stock. The biggest problem is that the whole refund process took almost 3 weeks, too long for something that was their mistake. The customer service girls at the store are good, but they just wouldn't get the refund authorized by their managers.

Delivered as promised and in good packaging. Minimal assembly required. Easy to put together. Only 1 bad thing and that is it didn't come with instructions. Luckily the assembly is very direct and not complicated. The TV bench didn't need assembly. But the bed frame needed assembly. We had 8 screws leftover after finished assembling the bed frame. Hope we didn't miss anything.

pathetic customer service and response from the staff. I received a product/ sofa set different than what was on display and i ordered. When I spoke to them they were not ready to replace it or provide the best resolution except just offefing a $50 store credit. Also the sofa legs are not strong enough and the nut bolts legs were rusty too.. Will never ever go to this store again..

Although refund was given, I still needed a mattress. 2. Apex tv cabinet had a massive starchy stain, customer service would only give a store credit. Great experience overall. Purchased a sofa lounge from Jeremy and he was very helpful, understanding what my requirement was and assisting with arrangement from the start. Delivery was on time and the communication from the order to the delivery was on point. Highly recomend anyone looking for new furniture to check out Furn House. I'm very happy with my purchase the quality is very good and their price is the best. I have bought 3 bedheads and 2 bedside tables. I'm impressed with my bedhead the cushion is thick the fabric is very good and it looks beautiful. I have looked around for bedheads and I always end up coming back to them. Minor issue delivery came 1 day late otherwise it would be 5 stars

Great prices and excellent service, what more does one need? On top of that they provide very reasonable delivery prices. Service was amazing. Informative and not pushy, we enjoyed the shopping experience and eventually decided on a couch at a huge bargain price. Would say that they could improve on their dining set options. Will definitely recommend to others.

Parcel is 2 weeks late and still yet to receive it. The online tracking system is an absolute waste of time. Went to call customer service, it took 3 times for them to finally pick the phone up. The woman who picked it up finally, couldn't speak a clear word of English. I will never deal with this business again. Fingers crossed I get my drawers soon

Received my order and it was broken, called the manager elessa and all she kept telling me is that she just works there and that it's not her problem. No way to contact any upper management so I'm lost on what to do. I'm stuck with a piece of furniture I can't even use and -$1000+ in my bank account. Will be going to consumer affairs.

It is nice service and fast delivery.I was happy with both.But I do not understand why it was the price difference in the shop and online.And on the invoice it was the third price--the lowest--but higher delivery cost.So , the sum was the same. I think you will be happy with the furniture and the service but look at the price online.

This business has an interesting collection of furniture. We found everything we needed and at a reasonable price. The sales woman in Dandenong shop was very sweet. The warehouse workers helped to load the big boxes into our vehicle. In total, we were satisfied and in the future we will buy something more from this company again.

Prices of good, service I don't know. Bought a mattress and wanted to pick it up same day, but had to go to the warehouse which was over 10 km. they also forgot to tell me that it was closed yesterday so I had to return today to get the item. Furniture stores should have stock on hand and not send away to their warehouse.

Couch broke down after 5 months. It’s now been close to two months, they sent us a replacement couch which was cracked and also with no legs!!! Still trying to get a replacement and they are saying the couch they sent us is brand new and the crack is apparently what the material looks like.

I am so excited with this gorgeous bed which goes very well with my bedroom background. Great product, I love it. Was pretty easy to put together and matches my furniture really well. Their store representative was very much cooperative & helpful to choose the Bed. Best wishes for them.

Bought some sofas from them . Products were good but customer service was bit poor at the start but improved. They did let us feel that our order is just another order and wait until we get back to you. There should be adequate experienced staff to handle the busy times and pressure.

I have bought queen size bed with drawers and mattress last year November and they delivered bed without parts of drawers and still i have to chase for missing parts. No one gives proper answer when they are able to give us the missing parts. Never recommend them for anyone

Worst Customer care. Does not provide 100% refund even for problem from their side. They take 20% from the refund even if they are unable to provide the item . They try to rename it restocking fee for already out of stock product. Real scamsters!

I had a very good time at the Furnhouse Dandenong showroom. They have diversity of products and they are all at really cheap prices. The staff is friendly, polite and has good advice. I would highly recommend this place to all people I know.
