GG is a wonderful and professional beautician who knows her trade. She accommodates services for all types of hair and length. I’ve come to GG to apply hair extensions and reapplication off the extensions when my hair has grown and I’ve been satisfied every time. The time before last (5 months ago) I went to apply hair extensions, I did it because I lost almost all of my hair after I personally chemically over-processed it at home. TIP: DO NOT mess with color and hair bleach at home if you don’t know what you’re doing. ALWAYS GO TO A PROFESSIONAL LIKE GG. I was devastated and ran to GG desperately asking her to please help me. She not only helped with my hair and self esteem, she helped me look appropriate for work. Since then my hair has grown and I recently went to GG to darken my hair and apply longer hair extensions which I am sooo incredibly happy with! Hair expertise aside, she is communicative and responsive. Call and make your appointment ASAP! Thank you GG!!!

So I called and first of all could barely get a sentence out as the lady would quickly interrupt me. Listen there are plenty of people to give your money too, if they seem too damn busy right off the bat to allow you to finish a sentence, that’s a good indicator of customer service. Th lady then asks me what texture hair I have, no problem. Before I could answer, she then interrupts again with “are you African American?” I hung up. There is way too much competition to deal with BS like this. You’ve been warned. To each his own. To the lady who replied, of course you don’t remember because was over a year ago. You can’t really think that someone actually wants to sit here and use their time to write a fake review. My recollection is my experience. Maybe YOU don’t use the phrase African American but whomever answered the phone did that day. Please do not come here trying to discredit a valid review. Your service sucks, deal with it and learn from it lady.

Absolutely the most amazing experience I ever had. Instead of 4 1/2 hours it was 2. She was so fast but did the most amazing job I’ve seen. She’s talented and knows exactly what she’s doing and takes really good care of you. I barely flinched but the braids were still tight. And she holds really good conversation. We shared many laughs. I highly recommend. I’ll be going to her every time I get my hair done.

I rarely write reviews and maybe this is the second one since COVID break, and felt I needed to write this one. GG’s hair extension salon always gives me the best service! Now that we are getting back to some normalcy I went in to her salon to have my hair weaved after a year and she did a great job reviving who I used to be! Thanks so much Gg! I cannot tell you guys how HAPPY i am with GG and her work! My daughter got her braids done here. I was not sure if she will be patient enough or if it will hurt her too much but GG made my daughters first experience a pleasure! It's been now over a week and the braids are gorgeous! She works fast, is super friendly and her salon is super comfy, clean and stylish! We love her! Thank you GG!!!!

I had a wonderful experience and the braiding is phenomenal. I am mixed and have relatively fine hair. I haven’t had my hair braided since I was a child. I was extremely nervous about not knowing anyone that could braid in San Diego and worried about how it would turn out. They are way better than I had imagined. I get multiple comments a day and people keep asking where I had them done.

It was my first time going to GG she was very sweet, I had question about how to maintain my hair and she was very helpful and gave lots of tips on how I can manage and keep my hair healthy. I got knotless braids and I absolutely loved them. Definitely going to come back if I need my hair done. I recommend her if you are struggling with maintaining your hair.

After never having anyone on the West coast touch my crown for over 5 years, I have found my hair home. As I type, my baby girl is in the chair getting her first professional braids. I arrived for my morning appointment and the staff were very friendly. They invited me to relax and watch tv while the prep for the hours of braiding ahead. I wanted waist length micro braids and the women who helped me worked quickly and efficiently. My braids were secure and beautiful and will definitely be coming back.

GG's hair is amazing. I've been coming here for awhile with my daughters to get their hair braided. The quality of the work done is beautiful and the stylist takes the time to understand and know exactly what it is you would like. My daughters are always happy with how beautiful their braids are.
