This supermarket established in this location for almost 20 years...we come to buy things sometimes. But these few weeks that we found their Chinese vegetables such as Bak Choy, choy sum and Chinese broccoli (loose packs). Those vegetables are not normally keep overnight...why??! They all turning yellowish either put inside the refrigerator or left outside with plastic bags opened. We don't understand did they spread some chemical in order to keep them last longer but they are on the opposite effect. We eat half and the other half must be in the gabbages. It's wasting money... We did proofing these items are NOT to buy from this Great Wall market....if you don't believe try yourself and you will see what happens!!! We post these are the majority let the staffs to awareness in the vegetables sections.

Dont go if you are not Chinese that speak Mandarin. The staff by the Longan stand at the door said this is American not Guangdong when I ask him something in Cantonese. I was just being courteous speaking chinese since I am Chinese and don't want to speak English and pretend I am all that. I should have spoke to him in English since he said "this is America."I am sure that all your staffs speak fluent English and won't stare blantly when customer speak to them in English. Please remove all the Chinese signage, after all this America, not CHINA. And they wonder why there is so much Asian Hate. Look at your attitude first. Oh by the way, saw a review complaining that she can't find a bilingual staff. How ironic of the rude staff.

One of many supermarkets in the neighborhood. I go here mainly for the fruits and vegetables. They always have a wide variety and everything is fresh. They're always busy because of their competitive pricing. The checkouts are very quick and efficient. They also have indoor parking for customers but I don't know if it's free however it is convenient if you buy a lot of stuff. Most of the fruits are outside on the sidewalk so as you pass by you get a good look at what is available. They take both cash and credit.

It is a typical Chinese supermarket - fresh produces priced on par but usually lower than its American competitors. All sorts of Asian snacks (Chinese, Japanese, Korean) and appliances are sold here. But don't expect good service, be loud and fronting to demand attention. Knowing how to speak Chinese really helps but not necessary. Free customer parking is available (purchase necessary), which is nice, especially since this is located in the heart of Flushing.

Really bad service in the meat department. Ask for meat first and the worker doesn’t care and take care of the new coming people first. Waiting for a long time for him to finish I think the next one will be me ,but not he continued to call for the new coming one and ignore me. Leave me standing there very embarrassing.Really frustrating, and always like that without first in first come order. Just depends on which one the worker likes to call first.

Bought yellow chives on Wednesday, $14.99//lb, super expensive! It was pre-packed. When I got home and opened it up, those packed outside were fine, those hidden in the middle were rotten! If you are already charging so much for the vegetable, at least you should have the decency to check the quality! According to the package, it was packed on the same day I purchased it, so I have to assume hiding the rotten one inside the package is intentional.

They finally renovated, and everything looks so much cleaner. Entrance still smells like a wet market, and the rest of the store is hidden away round back. Walk all the way in for other supermarket needs. Parking can be random, by the street. First come first serve, that hasn't changed. Carts aren't available in the back of the store, so remember to get it by the entrance. Cashier needs some more education about how to bag items.

Renovated supermarket for over a year, this GW has a huge backroom with Asian goods and Staples and a small American section if you need pasta sauces or cereals. Clean meat and fish aisles and tons of fresh vegetables m may be slightly pricier than options around it but you can trust not to find anything really rotten. An eight min walk from the train or LIRR, buses are Q44 and Q20

Definitely lookout for the on sale items, most items are cheaper than other supermarkets in the area (most items cheaper than New World Supermarket that's down the road.) They have an amazing snacks section with lots of Chinese, Korean, and Japanese snacks, highly recommend it. Overall is clean and everything's neatly organized.

Bought Chinese baby kale $2.99/lb. It was packed nicely with surround by green kale. When I got home and opened it up, those hidden in the middle were yellow! There is not quality check! According to the package, I assume workers purposely hiding the rotten one inside the package. This is unprofessional.

Would give it a zero, if I could. All the cashiers and employees who are stocking items are very discourteous and unhelpful. The cashier charged me for the items individually, when I know that it is sold as a box set. I only r eww realized this when I got home. This is the worst supermarket ever!!!

  • Ming Wu

One of the cleaner and more spacious Asian supermarkets in Downtown Flushing. Great selection of fresh produce and fruits. Other goods selection is not as complete or as extensive as that of Tous Mart or Chung Fat supermarkets across the street. Pros: they accept Credit Cards and have no minimum!

  • Sam S

Great place to visit for sea food Big variety of fish and sea food Get your grocery and fresh vegitables they have good selection there as well Big store has a lot of stuff The only problem is the parking hard to get one sometimes and it's traffic sometimes on the block

  • Z. Chen

It's one of the largest Chinese grocery stores in NYC. A little off Flushing city centre so foot traffic is low. Produce is fresh, staff are friendly (somewhat, but more so than other Chinese stores), and prices are reasonable.

  • Keith Hwang

Pretty wide selection of goods. On average, the quality is good. Prices when compared to other markets in the vicinity, however, have been climbing at a quicker rate. It's still an okay place to shop for Asian groceries.

  • Orisha Oya

Not one bilingual person on staff to assist me and they had what I was looking for to purchase unfortunately due to lack of communication with no one speaking English I wasn't able to get what I wanted.

  • Nahum Chiu

Was shopping for Christmas dinner. It wasn't too crowded. Shelves were well organized and it was easy to find everything I needed. Checkout was quick. There is parking available.

  • Hyun Jin Jo

Is a big store but didn't give 5 stars cuz most of the employees do not speak ENGLISH. As a person who can't speak Chinese, I had had to look for items by myself witbout any help

  • Katal K

Great place to get Asian (not just Chinese) products. Big. Has produce, Seafood, spices, rice, noodles, teas, Kitchenware, frozen foods, drinks, candy. Pretty much everything.

  • Tito Juarez

Very good supermarket to get everything you need! It is clean and has pretty much everything Asian. I wish you'd stock Foster's Oil Can beers. I'd frequent you every day.

  • NYC Plumbing Doctor

Is ok, you can find most of the Chinese spices and vegetables. The problem is some people who go to the store are very unrespectful, but is not the store fault.

  • Eric Hu

Great prices and fresh veggies. Better than a lot of other supermarkets in Flushing. The meat department isn't that great, but you're not at Whole Foods here.

  • Shang jyh Gu

One day when I waiting outside the restroom some one holding the hand truck getting through and hits my leg. He started scolding at me before my reaction.
