I'd say my experience with these guys was "distasteful" to say the least. My father just flew in from out of state and wanted a specific type of beer. I decided to oblige him by taking him here which was a first time experience for both of us. They told us immediately without hesitation to wear a mask or get out, despite having very little people within the business (6ft distance was more than manageable per the San Antonio Mask Ordinance). My father and I decided it would be best to just not argue and leave. Needless to say, we will continue to take our business to more hospitable establishements. I recommend a more well-known establishment located just northeast of this one.

I'm so upset I ordered online here for my birthday and the manager virginia she declined my order when I called and asked why she said because you didn't have an email on file I told her I don't understand then she asked do u have a drivers license and I said no I have a Texas ID she then said well I declined it then I tried to make another order at another store and I could not because this lady made them deny me from all Gabriel's store and don and bens over nothing she is rnot Profesional and they should not have people working there that don't know that a drivers license and state ID are both the same thing

Very rude how the Lady that works there treats spanish speaking people. She was loud telling the hispanic guy to stand in the white line in order to be the be helped ( he did not understand her ) She decided to help the next person and leave him hanging. Until Someone translated what she was saying to him. When I went to the counter I expressed myself and told her that that wasn't the right way of treating somebody that doesn't know English that has A language barrier. She told me welcome to Texas honey that was extremely rude.

Rude, Nasty mean old lady my husband and I walked in and I asked for a crown Peach, the lady was sitting down ignoring us and rudely replied, There is a policy here did you stand behind the white line. Being that I have been in the service industry for a long time, I would say the Owners of this establishment take pride that they have an open Liquor store! I work for the a radio station here in San Antonio, and I will make it a point to speak about this on my show! Fire her… she does not have any Customer service.

Was there today and spent over $200 in alcohol and a white older with glasses lady was upset and made a comment that there was a line and other people behind me were waiting to cashout. Idk why she was even upset or why that comment was made. Mind you it was only 2 people behind me which im sure they were not spending over $200 like i was. Maybe she was upset cause she had to work who knows ‍♀️ Very unprofessional!

Everything went OK with my selection and purchase until I showed my ID...and the cashier thought I was being funny...I know I'm well over 21 in appearance (I'm 66), but I take presenting proof of age very seriously...Be grateful for those who want to be compliant, even if it's not necessary...

They have a very large collection of all types of liquors, mixers, and beer and wine. They also sell snacks and ciggarettes, and sodas. The owner and employees are always nice, and tyhey have tastings sometimes(check the schedule on the door) Great place for a quick stop.

The selection was alright at best in my opinion. If you are looking for cheaper level things to just drink, then it works. They didn't have very much when it came to anything unique or higher end. Good spot for a quick bottle, just not a spot for me.

Depending on which one you go to..some have different products than the other..for example..one might have a 12 pack of 16oz Coors Light in a box..and the the other one won't..depends on what your looking for

Gabriel's is following COVID-19 guidelines, & they have a wide selection of products, but Not necessarily Sizes. I wanted a 200ml bottle of Jack Daniel's, but they only had 375ml & up.

The store was stocked but not like it used to be decades ago. I remember it had an overabundance of liquor before over 20 yrs ago. The person working the store was very helpful too.
