We chose Gardenview for both our kids after hearing from several sources that it's one of the best public schools in Montreal and I can say that our experience there has lived up to that expectation. My daughter has completely flourished in both her learning and personality in grade 1 through the guidance of Mme Anna-Maria Rubinato. When we met during parent-teacher interviews, she really nailed down our daughter's strengths and weaknesses and gave us some solid ideas on how to help her develop herself. Mme Johanne Boudreault in Pre-K is an absolute gem. Her approach to learning is so creative and engaging and my son is always overjoyed to tell me all the things he did in class. I wish every kid could spend a year in her class. Of course a huge shout out to the BASE (before and after school) program run by the fantastic Paquita Nanton. The ability to extend the school hours, have my kids finish their homework before coming home and have childcare (that our kids love!) on ped days when the school would otherwise be closed.... game changer. One more thing.... A big plus for me is the parent community involvement, which seems to really care about enhancing the school experience for all the kids. They organize so many different activities throughout the school year, and my kids really look forward to them all.

Terrible school! Extremely negative - teachers bully the kids. MS. ANNA MARIA RUBINATO - screams, throws books across the room, lies, talks about the kids' appearance during parent / teacher meetings. SHE IS COMPLETELY INAPPROPRIATE!!!! SHE LOCKED MY KID OUT OF THE CLASSROOM WHEN HE WENT TO THE BATHROOM AT THE END OF THE DAY. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL FOR THE SAKE OF YOUR CHILDREN'S MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL BEING.

As a Gardenview parent, it has been an exceptional experience, exceeding our expectations in every aspect. The caring and dedicated staff create a positive and engaging learning environment. The emphasis on extracurricular activities, the strong sense of community (parents and teachers), and the school's commitment to values makes this school an excellent place to enroll your children. Keep up with the good work!

Great school with excellent teachers. I have a son who graduated in 2020 and two daughters still attending. Particular teachers of note would be Madame Sophie (both of my daughters had her for kindergarten) and Madame Anna Maria (all three of my kids had her for grade 1). Both teachers are very kind, caring and very devoted to the children. I would recommend this school to anyone.

Excellent school. My children attend Gardenview Elementary and the passion and dedication by teachers is definitely felt. A special mention about Mme Anna Maria, a caring and special person who definitely leaves an imprint on your heart. She is a teacher who you will always remember. Highly recommend this school!

i graduated from there with trauma. visible homophobia, fatphobia. and racism from a lot of the students and no support from the teachers either. traumatized, i rate this place 1 star. I don't recommend for students.

My son finished grade four and wanted to let eveyone know to try to get their children out or Mrs. Maniadakis' class! She cut the laces of my poor boy's shoes because he didnt tie them. She reminds me of the grinch.

Excellent school! My daughters have been lucky to have had wonderful and dedicated teachers who work hard to motivate, inspire as well as instil a love of learning!

Teachers were fine I hated the kids tho. The thing is the kids are pretty smart but also very manipulative And the teacher never able to recognize this.
