One of our favourite stops usually on a Sunday and great experiences up until today. The person who served me had a really hostile attitude, I am a quick decision maker and wanted a no fuss straightforward change to my order - crumbed not batter, this clearly was a big issue, not impressed but didn't take it personally, I suspect every customer was going to get a serve of hostile as a side order today with that attitude. My friend's fish was also raw, he couldn't eat it, but he was philosophical and said he would cook it when he got home. My food and the chips we shared were great as usual and the other two staff members were also friendly and polite. We will be back as usually it's great, so a second chance. I won't be back if I get that kind of service again though.

Needs some serious work. Burgers average at best chips undercooked and cold. I ordered an egg and bacon burger for $12.50 which had 1 tiny rasher of bacon in it. This is not good value for money and the chips had been sitting there since the last person ordered. I found also the burger bun was stale and to large for a burger a smaller brioche bun would be way better. Counter staff were good but if this shop wants to survive they need to get a good consistent product going that people see as good value for money especially in these times, please lift your game.

Normally I love these guys, especially your brekky wraps on the way to work. However, if you're going to be closed unexpectantly can you please say something on your fb page and update your phone service!? Last night I spent 20mins being told my call was next in the queue - luckily I decided driving there would be quicker (whilst on hold) only to find the sign on the door to say you were shut! With a family at home waiting for dinner Risdon Vale got my business (as Lindisfarne were closed also) If you're going to have social media and call waiting systems please use them!

Just finished a couple of burgers and some chips from this joint. Unreal. Mega B burger was a mission to eat and recomended if you're a big eater. The other half had a deluxe cheese steak burger and wouldnt stop talking about how good it was as she was eating it. All three staff at the shop where very plesant. I even gave them a call to commend them on their service and food, something I rarely do. Being new to the area I'm sure happy they are just down the road. Thanks team!

I rode my bike there ordered 1 potato cake 3 dim sims 1 crab stick I was waiting for 15 minutes by the time I left it was pouring with rain and to make it worse when I made it home I found out I didn't get my crab stick I usually love coming here but I'm very disappointed from my experience today

Really impressed with the easy online ordering system, and the order was ready pretty much at the estimated pickup time. Staff were really pleasant and shop was tidy and clean, and although a piece of crumbed fish was a little over cooked and on the darker end of brown and almost garnered a 4/5 star rating overall, because we spent over $40 it was a nice surprise to get a free bottle of lemonade with the order.

Parking is kinda a pain as a disabled person, aside from that it's a 10/10 from me

Arguably the best dim sims in the greater hobart area (we've tried a few) - and so, so cheap, 4 dim sims for $2? Beat that anywhere. Fantastic fish and chips on top of this. I used to live in the area, and returning now some 10-20 years later is great to see that the food is still high quality, service is good and the nostalgia of walking into the shop is a great personal experience.

Ok food but poor listening skills I asked for my fish to be rapped separate and it wasn't, now my partner had to cook her own food as she is allergic to seafood owner did offer to recook it but as we live a while away with kids that need bed I couldnt take that offer up nothing else was rectified just, (owner) oh sorry about that bye

Sorry but I went to this shop on the basis of other reviews. Bought crumbed fish and chips. You can tell when the oil is old the chips were soggy. As for the crumbed fish it was over cooked and the slither of fish inside it was just that, the smallest cut that a Sushimi Chef would have been proud of. More

I had a mega b burgers. My wife had a steak sandwich. Was awsum .staff very friendly the tucker very very nice. Highly impressed Highly recommend.

Best burger in town, I ordered deluxe last time, it was amazing. This time order the chicken spicy and chicken with LOT, impressed me again. Really a very lovely shop and all the staff are very friendly. Recommend to everyone who loves burger!

Ordered 2 lamb souvlaki’s for dinner. They weren’t good. Not hot, pita bread was hard/stale and lamb was like mush. Definitely didn’t taste freshly made - which they were meant to be. Disappointed to say the least.

It's a good take away shop but I personally don't like the dim sims I think they should go with a different product they taste awful. but apart from that they do some great meals, burgers and fish and chips. Staff are always very friendly and welcoming. They have great customer service.

Best fish and chips, loaded gravy lamb and deconstructed souva ever. This place is awesome and the staff are super friendly and helpful. Pity we’re heading back to Vic tonight else we would have been back in a flash. Keep up the good work!

Hands down one of the best takeaways in Tas. As a tradie trying to eat less meat, I was very excited to try their veggie burger with two potato cakes instead of the veggie potato. Add two eggs and some siracha, this was without a doubt top
