Très belle surprise. Nous cherchions un rooftop pas trop éloigné de notre hôtel (près du Grand Palace) mais également avec une ambiance plutôt cool et relax. The Genz Bar est l’endroit parfait. Situé au 17ème étage d’un hôtel, l’accès à l’ascenseur et bar n’est pas très bien expliqué mais cela en vaut la peine. Ambiance chill avec chaise de bar, pouf, vue des 2 cotés principaux (secteur temple avec Wat Arun, Grand Palace…) mais aussi sur la partie moderne avec tous buldings. Gros point fort également, happy hour jusqu’à 19h avec 2x1 sur les cocktails et certaines bières. 290 bahts pour 2 cocktails et une belle vue sur Bangkok. Grandement recommandé. Et le personnel est adorable.

Die Bar befindet sich über dem Grand China Hotel im 17.Stock. Super schöne Aussicht, sehr gechillt, kein besonderer Dresscode. Eher hippyvibes, junges Publikum, wenig besucht trotz Freitagabend, sehr lieber Service mit guten Englischkenntnissen. Der Besuch bietet sich an nach dem Erkunden der Gässchen in Chinatown, da fußläufig erreichbar. Die Getränke waren preislich voll okay für eine Rooftop bar ((287 baht zzgl 17%Gebühr), nicht zu süß und frisch gemixt. Leider sehr wenig Alkoholgehalt. Hatten beim Billiardspielen einige und haben nichts davon gemerkt. Überdachter Bereich ist super bei ungeplantem Regen :D Sehr zu empfehlen.

Un endroit très sympa pour avoir une belle vue surplombant Bangkok! Les cocktails sont très abordables, et assez généreux, et le service est vraiment bien! Seul bémol: la musique de fond était vraiment très désagréable… quand nous sommes arrivés, il y avait un petit show très sympathique, mais plus tard ils ont mis une playlist pré-enregistrées de musique assez violente, ça ne collait pas du tout avec l’endroit. Heureusement, ce n’était pas très fort donc nous sommes passés outre!

Like a hidden gem: this rooftop bar features a beautiful view on one side to the historic district with Grande Palace and various temples. To the other side the modern Bangkok skyline with all the skyscrapers. Good cocktails, happy hour until 9p.m. makes it very valuable. Right next to china town street market and we got a table at the front without reservation. Would come again and recommend this to tourist/friends.

Unplanned trip, and a pleasant suprise to this laid back rooftop bar. Really liked the chilled out atmosphere, with great live music playing in the background. Some cocktails I've never seen before, which I always like, sure a little bit expensive, but not out of the ordinary for bangkok rooftop bars. Small food menu that is reasonably priced. Certainly enjoyed chilling after a busy afternoon in Chinatown.

Great service, they couldn't help enough throughout our break. We only had a couple of drinks but thoroughly recommend going as the elevation is great. Amazing views of Bangkok on all sides from the external balcony. I am in 40s so not Gen Z but the music was fine (not Depeche mode which is more my style ). Recommended!

Hidden gem bar, quite new and friendly service. This is the best spot to watch sunset and Bangkok downtown (skyline) turns to night mode! They provide a complimentary drink and BOGO drink/cocktail between 5-7PM. Yes, you can come here even if you are not Gen Z! I am not one, lol

Er was genoeg plek de hele avond, dus je kon goed genieten van het uitzicht. Lekker briesje en muziek erbij. Personeel was ontzettend vriendelijk en de pizza’s waren super lekker :) Wij hadden 2 pizza’s, een cocktail en 2 grote biertjes en waren ongeveer €45 euro kwijt.

De passage pour y dîner en soirée. Repas froid. Désorganisation totale. Nous sommes partis sans manger. N'y aller que pour boire un verre, coûteux, et la profiter de la vue car au 17ème etg.

The view is pretty great and they have bean bags on the large deck. There is indoor and outdoor seating (both tables and bat seating that goes around the perimeter). The drinks are a bit expensive here in relation to the general area.

Die Cocktails sind lecker und die Aussicht ist echt super. Es war eine entspannte Atmosphäre, da auch nicht so viele Menschen da waren :) Lohnt sich sehr.

Great place to go after visiting china town night market. If you wish for rooftop which is not crazy busy and has great view. This is the place. Drink selection is good. Prices are reasonable.

Great roof top bar. Good drink selection. Staff is very friendly. Love all of the seating areas, bean bag loungers were our favorite. The view is spectacular! Enjoyed fireworks too!

I guess they just open. Hidden jewel in Chinatown. Great ambiance, I got to see the modernize of Bangkok and also the old town of Bangkok. Incredible scenery.
