My kids went for the 2017 -18 School year. For Kindergarten - Ms. Kanavel, 3rd Grade- Ms.Lee, 5th Grade- Mrs. Harris. I loved, loved loved the teachers!!! I would give the teachers 5 stars but I have to take into the account the school as a whole. The teachers were organized, on top of the kids and showed great disclipine while teaching. They really do have passion and really cared for the well being of my children. The reason I didn't give the extra star is because the teachers do lack the support from their office administration. When kids are unruly and distracting the learning evironment, it is my opinion that the office administration are too lenient. THe teachers are dealing with so much and if they are having issues with unrully kids the Principle should have consequences to the point of expulsion and not giving chance after chance. My kids were very well behaved and A+ students, however sometimes they would come home frustrated because there were regular unruly kids in the class that distrupted their learning and continued to do so for the whole year. These unruly kids should have a few strikes and then be expelled. I am hoping that the office administration gets on top of this because they will lose the GREAT teachers that they have.

THEY CAN CARELESS ABOUT A STUDENTS EDUCATION AND FUTURE This VERY HOSTILE elementary school is seriously TERRIBLE! As my child's first year into school they ( office employees & principal) made it a living hell! SMH thank goodness for MS.B the new kindergarten teacher she's a doll and actually cares unlike the rest of the staff that I've seen the LITTLE time my son spent at this horrible so called School! Smh I withdrew my child is within only a month !

George Gervin Prep Academy in the past 3 years under the amazing community building leadership of Dr. Crawford has become not only a great place for children to learn, but a place that embraces community. Students enjoy being at school and staff retention is at an all-time high. When you walk in the door, you feel welcomed, you feel comfortable, and you know your child's education is in great hands.

My son finished 8th grade there last year and I still have another child there for the next few years. I like the good communication and the professionalism of the office staff. My kids like Mr. Hardy, Ms. Ali and the music teacher Mr. Epp. Principal Crawford is fantastic, I drop them off and know they are safe, learning and happy. One con - the play area needs some work.

George Gervin Prep Academy is a school based on a strong community, student safety, and teaching a holistic and diverse education. The Principal is in the classrooms, talking to students at lunch, and making sure that the students know the school and the people inside of it care about all students. You feel the sense of community the minute you walk into the building.

One of the WORST SCHOOLS I'VE EVER BEEN TOO! I've seen teachers actually hurts the kids there mentally and physically. And didn't learn a single for a whole semester, i've seen kids there smoke weed and sell it. Im glad i was only there for a year and for any parent thinking about taking there kid to this school i BEG you not to take them there.

My daughter has been at GGPA for 3 years. She will graduate next year from 8th grade. The school offers a smaller environment classroom sizes are less 15 student still classroom. The office staff, principal and teachers know each student by name throughout the whole school. We love this school

my 5 child go to this school and no school is perfect and they are always making changes for the best of our children I get annoyed because parents down the school but don't get involved ....the class sizes are small and the Ms Mendoza and Ms baptsie is great ....

I moved my kids to this school and I am so relieved. They have STAR expectations and my kids are learning a lot. Ms. Hampton, Ms. Johnson's and Principal Crawford are all here from my old school. My kids are so happy to be in a safe loving environment.

George Gervin has made impressive changes providing students with the safest environment and learning experience. The growth has been amazing with so much more in the works.
