Not happy at all with the service form Giant Durbanville! I bought a bicycle there for my wife on 8 October. After ride with it twice, the one pedal came off during the ride on Wednesday 12 October. We immediately phoned them when we returned home and they advised us that we can bring the bike in the next day. After taking it in and going to fetch it again on Friday 14 October as they advised us, we were accused of removing both pedals in the five days we had the bike, and reinstalling them incorrectly on the bike. We were also accused of falling with the bike because there were markings on the pedal that fell off. At no stage were they willing to accept that it was a mistake that they, or whoever assembled the bike, made when the bike was assembled. Because of this experience, I would not recommend them to anyone else and I would definitely not be visiting them any time soon.

They offered to order me a part on Tuesday and said it would be there on Thursday. I followed up on Thursday and they said it would only be there on Friday and that they would let me know. I phoned them Friday morning and they confirmed it would be there between 12:00 and 13:00. I Arrived at the store at just after 14:00 and they said it had not arrived yet. They said they would phone me when it gets there. I called them at 16:00 and they said their delivery of parts had arrived but my part was not there. At no point were I contacted by the store to let me know the delivery was delayed or to let me know the part didn't arrive. This was my first experience with their store and I won't be going back.

Have bought 3 different bikes from them already. Their pricing is very reasonable and I will continue to purchase bicycles from them in the future. The team is willing to assist with customisation of their standard products to suit the customer's needs. They tend to come to the party and resolve any issues one might have with the products they sell. I would not personally use them for general maintenance of my bicycles but they will honour any warranty claims and resolve issues with products and parts.

I have really only used this shop to get spare parts that I have trouble getting elsewhere like slime in road tubes and 3m long brake cables so can't really judge them properly. They appear to be professional enough. Giant bicycles on sale appear to be good value for money but that is based on the brand and not peculiar to the store. My preferred bicycle shop is friendlier. The guy that appears to be in charge is friendly enough but staff are kind of detached.

I urgently needed a new tubeless tyre the day before a race. The staff were quick to refer me to the team member who knows my particular bicycle, and I was hooked up with a new tyre in no time. They also fitted it for me at no extra charge! However, all this comes at a price: The same tyre is about 20% cheaper at a popular bike shop in Claremont. Still, if you want zero hassle and don't mind paying a little more, Giant Durbanville is a great choice.

Store looks nice but website is underdeveloped, search criteria is none existent, someone that is looking for a bike that is within their price range is really difficult. When looking for extras there are no prices which makes me not want to shop at this shop. Pictures of bikes are mono and small, more options would be nice so making a chose would be easier. A more interactive website would be nice as parking at this centre can be difficult.

I would recommend anyone to Giant Durbanville. I spent more than 6 months trying to get a replacement frame for a brand new giant road bike i bought at one of the other giant shops. The store i bought the bike wasn't doing enough to get my frame replaced. Giant Durbanville stepped up after i mentioned my issue to them, 2 days is all it took to get a replacement frame. I took my little girl's bicycle in for a few minor repairs on a Saturday. The guys were very helpful and friendly. I was expecting them to have it repaired sometime in the week but to my amazement I got a call not long after dropping it off. Thanks for the friendly service.

Awesome service, Julian helped me with my bike fit and gave me some pointers, they also did a quick gear set. Awesome shop, would recommend to any local rider , enduro or xc, they have it all.

I don’t like the cookie banner that pops up or your website, because I don’t want to be “spammed “ or followed on the web. Solution, I simply close your site and go somewhere else.

Excellent, fast service. They fixed broken spokes, replaced rim tape, replaced sealant and trued the wheel in less than 45 minutes at a very competitive price.

I went into this shop looking for a mtb for my girlfriend only to be insulted by the extremely rude salesman. I will never set foot in this store again.
