Service was atrocious 04/09/22 at 11am. Came in for brunch. Two of us walked inside initially and stood there for a good 5 minutes without being acknowledged. Ended up taking menus and seating ourselves. Decided what we wanted and went back inside to order. Person at the coffee machine again just looked at me for a few minutes without muttering a word. Then someone else told me to go back and be seated and they will provide table service. Sat outside for another 10 minutes at a dirty table and no one came out. Ended up going back to KWR - better cafes with much better service.

Cool retro place, reminds me of all the furniture my parents had when I was a kid haha.. The service is friendly, however the day I visited.... service was very slow, I ended up being late for my appointment nearby, what was suppose to be a quick bite & soy latte (sit-down) ended up being a rushed take away. The soy latte was bitter/burnt and the Bacon & Egg Muffin was dry and lacking some sauce This place has a Cool name and funky retro feel, but for me, the soy latte and food not up to scratch #sadness #nosauce #wasntanoption #bittercoffee

Came here for a Sunday noon lunch. Was very happy with my Mexican burger. Generous amount of guac and sauces. Very nice party. I would say the burger is as good as dedicated burger places. Chips were ok Price on the menu for all dishes are reasonable. Don't worry about my photo. I already took the stake out and held it before putting it back down for the photo.

My first visit with a friend.The place is warmth and cosy to come with friends. We did not enjoy the pasta but they managed to turn the food experience to pleasant one. The manager/owner was very nice and dealt with our feedback impressively. We enjoyed the coffee, was delicious I ordered second , and the lemon orange cake. But most of all kudos to the owner. Surely will visit again.

Nice cafe that's been here for years. Probably ready for a bit of an update inside. Coffee is always great and food is nice, wish they had some more vegan options.

Good coffee. Husband got the full tilt big breakfast. Beans and sausage was delicious. Don’t feel it’s worth $25 though. I got the salmon Benedict. Hollandaise was bland and not enough of it however good amount of Salmon. Will come back for a another round of coffee and a crack at another menu item.

Great place, we were seated quickly (would recommend booking in advance) Service and staff are excellent, and food is amazing, with large portions being very well priced. The mushroom ragu was divine. We will be back for sure.

The people who waited on my friend and I were lovely, welcoming and eager to the extra mile to serve you if needed. I had the smashed avo and it was probably the best smashed avo I have ever had. Highly recommend going there if you are in the area.

Aside from being embarrassed when I tried to open the wrong door, the experience at Gingers was great. The staff, although runnoff their feet busy, were attentive and friendly. The coffee was top shelf, which you come to expect from most cafes in the good parts of town. Prices seemed cheap, but maybe I’m out of touch with the going rate in Goodwood :)

Had the pleasure of seeing Louise Messenger & the Dave McEvoy Trio at the Venue last night. Booked In before the show for dinner and even though it was a busy evening the food and service were excellent. Would highly recommend the calamari salad and the halloumi salad. Thanks for a great evening.

Coffee was fine but being asked to leave as, 'they wanted the table for another customer', 10 minutes after finishing your drink is just rude. Yeah, they were busy, but there were places outside still, & we were there first. I was enjoying a catch up with my terminally ill friend, yes, really. Won't be back & this was our first experience here.

The top of the range egg and bacon breakfast dish (Full Tilt) came out without the eggs! We had to ask for them. Not a full cafe and we waited 25 minutes for our coffees which came out after our meals were served. The food was delicious… Service needs a bit mire attention to detail.

Came across this cafe while holidaying in Adelaide. Loved the retro decor. Reminds me of my grandmas kitchen. We had breakfast and all 4 dishes were beautifully presented, filling and delicious. I recommend travelling to Goodwood Road to dine at Ginger’s.

A local friend of mine suggested this for my tourist vacation, and I am so glad I visited. This is a very nice, retro-styled, lounge. The portions are super generous, and the environment is airy inside as well as out. The Carbonara was especially delicious. This is somewhere you'll want to get lunch more than once.

Really nice food and service, and also good coffee (from Patio). Only complaint is that it gets too loud inside, but there's a nice outdoor area at the back. Has booze available too. Toilet out the back is small but clean. Good selection of desserts and some wine and beers too in the evening. More

Been here severral times over last five years. Love the kind of hip but down vibe, art and posters on the walls. Good coffee, nice flavour. I had the classic burger which you can see looks like what one hopes for. Good size patty, the relish was tasty, and good bun. Love to come back some time

The burgers are juicy and delicious. Great coffee. Good value, friendly team and good service too.

Had the breakfast burger and must say it was Amazing. Burger was soft and fresh and the filling was cooked just right with just the right amount of mayo in it. Coffee was done well also and sever was great. Will be back soon

Awesome food, super friendly owner, and really fair pricing. Great vegan options as well as awesome options for the omnivores! Very cute setting with fresh artwork on the walls on a regular basis.

Always pretty good. I think they use a darker roast since the coffee is quite dark and bold in flavour. Always busy. Sometimes customer service can be a hit of miss. Otherwise really good :)

Great little place but my soy flat white was burnt and bitter. Very disappointing. On a side note, the ramp at the front door is not high enough to safely push a heavy wheelchair up. More
