Dont be deceived by popularity!! Teaching standard is below average, my kid class teacher was rostered for only 4 days, every Monday teacher was off. rest of the week teacher may be busy with extra-curricular activities, planning and Friday was frequent sick day. VERY disappointing educational system and this is not isolated experience. Academic scoring is high only because most parents opt for private coaching for their kids, not to mention some kids go to multiple coaching classes. That is the only reason, why kids of this school have excellent score, school has very limited contribution in their pupil's educational success, however, unfortunately they are the one who gets the credits. Simple question, when school teaching is very poor, and parents are dependent on private coaching only. Why to chase overcrowded schools, where your kids are often ignored, lacked motivation, and bored? it has mental effect on kids as well. I would say overcrowded school with very poor educational standard and procedures. Choose wisely before you BUY or RENT.

It was an amazing experience to be part of Girraween Public School over the years. I am quite ecstatic about the future for my school as it has 'evolved' in soo many different ways. Not only that, but the teachers and the friends you meet through your journey through primary school. To prove my point, on the first day of kindergarten I made six best friends and there still with me to this day. Not to mention the 'exoctic' teachers, such as Miss Srikanthan.Without doubt, Girraween is definitely the best school to be. With not only the latest technology science has to offer, the friends and teachers you will meet and the experience you will behold which can benefit your life, Girraween is the school to be. Teaching you things you would never dream of and throughout this whole experience, your still be having fun. Girraween is the the place to be!

It was a spectacular experience to be apart Girraween public school. Also the teachers and friends you meet thorough primary school. On the first day of kindergarten I cried because I didn't want leave my mum's hand. After a few weeks I made 2 best friends and they're still with me to this minute. Not only that, those bizarre teachers such as Mr Timperley. With not only the latest sports equipment such as the new black and yellow sponge ball. G.P.S knows there way round. My primary school life is over and yours is just beginning. So now you know that Girraween public school is the place to be!!!

Girraween Public School is a great school and I highly recommend it. Sure the facilities need a bit of upgrading but everything else is great. Everyone understands each other and the quality of teaching is of high standard. There is a range of extracurricular activities such as debating, drama, dance and etc. The principal is very friendly and a special thank you to all teachers who have taught me during my years at GPS ❤ Overall, GPS is a great school and is worth checking out !

My daughter was in girraween public school for 3 yrs, can’t believe so competitive and not even healthy competition. It’s nerve wracking competition, school don’t provide devices to kids. Kids are told not to discuss about highest and lowest score but very well teachers concentrate on high ranking kids. As a parent I didn’t see any transparency and nor equality. All kids should get fair attention. Competition is good but not at the cost of someone’s peace.

Though this school does have over a thousand kids, and can get a bit chaotic, it's sill overall an amazing school filled with: kind, respectful and caring Teachers who strive to their best to gives us the knowledge we need. I am honoured to have been in a such a wonderful environment, and watch the development of this vast school since 2010. Now that I am in High school, it is very difficult to leave my home "Girraween public school"!

This is an amazing school, there are many opportunities to learn different things. Unlike many other schools, we have community language, which is a scheduled part of the week where all students learn their language, the school is located in an amazing place with an overall friendly neighbourhood filled with parks and playgrounds. This school can benefit any kid.

Excellent govenment primary School in Western Sydney. The Suburb Girraween is known for this and the selective secondary school which is nearby too. The school has grown dramatically from a small to large one due to lots of development in the suburb with new houses and lots of new residents moving in. Quality education and great atmosphere.

Girraween Public School was where I spent some of the best days of my life. The teachers were amazing, and extremely kind to all the students. I attended this school from Kindy up until Year 6, and I would not attend any either primary school! Overall, one of the best experiences in my life, and I do miss the school dearly …

Hmm the school is very good the teachers are good but when they are mad they don't try to be nice or explain to you to the problem they go straight to putting you in trouble. You also can get blamed without proof and you didn't do it. Im in year 6 during this Overall its a good school just don't get in trouble and you will cope

Overall school might be good , but i am complaining. about a teacher name Miss. Doherty . The whole year 2020 she was mostly absent and when it comes to year end review. She was very unfair , incompetent and does not have ability to evaluate student . I would urge principal to change this type of teacher.
